"Dude this is a horrible idea!"

"Why?! You said to get a hobby and now I found one." Bakugo said matter of fact as he continued jogging in place on one of the treadmills in the gym.

"But that isn't a hobby man!" Kirishima tried to reason with the blond for what felt like the hundredth time with no luck in sight. "A hobby is more like painting or…. boating or…." When he saw Bakugo raise an unimpressed brow he turned to Kaminari. "Dude help me out here."

"He's right. A hobby is more like the things you really like doing in you free time like playing with the band." Kaminari panted trying to keep pace with the other two.

"Yeah? And who said I liked doing that." Bakugo gave a small, wicked grin when he saw Kaminari's unamused expression.

"I so felt that one dude."

"Beside you just said a hobby is something I like doing." Bakugo redirected their conversation to this ridiculous topic, instead of trying to force him to admit something he actually didn't mind doing with the band, otherwise he wouldn't have still been doing it after all this time.

"Yeah, but that's still considered working." Kaminari frowned when another thought crossed his mind. "But then again if you like your job, I guess there's nothing wrong with it."

"Not helping." Kirishima's lip turned down into a frown. "Not even in the slightest."

"Shitty Hair just relax ok, it's just a dumb case."

"Oh, then how come you're so interested in it?"

"Because those Ipponmichi bastards have been messing with us for far too long and it's time to put them down." Bakugo exasperatedly sighed wondering what the deal was today with Kirishima. Ever since he let him in on his plan the red head has done nothing but try and dissuade him from doing it. He's gone on and on all weekend to try and convince him not to get involved and frankly he was getting tired of it. "Surprise you don't even want in on it idiot."

"I never said I didn't." Kirishima mumbled while rubbing the back of his head. "All I'm saying is that it seems that they have it handled without us." When Kirishima didn't hear him snap back like he normally would he glance sideways to see him solely focused on his run. "Bedside's how do you plan on joining their group when they already have a team specifically assigned to it?"

"I already spoke with Icy hot about it earlier and he seems to think it's a good idea but says it's up to Hawks. Plan on talking to that damn big bird after this." Bakugo's smirk came back that told the red head all there was to know. That once Bakugo made up his mind about something there was no way to convince him otherwise. "Supposed to be in today or some shit."

"Well, that's just great." Kirishima overdramatically sighed. Hopefully once he heard from Hawks himself that it was a no go, then maybe his bro would just let it go. The last thing he or any one of them wanted was for Bakugo to get even more involved than he already was. Although he did understand Bakugo's interest in catching everyone responsible and could admit that he always seemed to have a keen eye on the little details that some of the others would miss in any cases or missions they were assigned to.

"Hey, I know what you need!" Kaminari suddenly piped up with a skip in his jog. "Maybe if you just got laid you wouldn't be so uptight all the time and finally allow yourself time to relax."

"What?!" Whipping his head sideways Bakugo's eyes began to angrily twitch the more Kaminari continued talking unaware of the growing hostility next to him.

"I'm just saying you've been this way ever since I can remember and maybe if you met a nice girl or something she'd rub off on you."

"And who the hell says I need someone?! I'm fine the way I am!"

"Erm you sure about that?" Kaminari unconvincingly looked at Bakugo. "Seems to me you're pretty wound up especially as of lately. Tell me dude, when was the last time you got any?"

"What does that even-"

"Answer honestly." Kaminari wiggled his finger dangerously close to his face which just made Bakugo's lip curl in anger.

"You've got about two seconds to remove that finger from my face before I kick you where the damn sun don't shine Sparky!"

"What, you mean the closet?" Kaminari quizzically stared back at the other blond while Kirishima tried to suppress his smile.

"A-anyway, what I think Kaminari's trying to say is that you need a nice relaxing vacation and who knows…preferably with someone special." Kirishimas cheerful voice managed to momentarily subdue his buddy's mood as he silently kept running. "I know it always helped me when I was feeling a certain way."

Upon seeing the red head's sudden cast down expression, Bakugo groaned already knowing which way this conversation was heading and was not looking forward to it.

"See Kirishima knows what I'm talking about! All I'm saying is that it's about high time for you to let lose you know. Act your own age and have fun. I know there's plenty of ladies just lining up for the chance to get Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, so maybe if you just let one of them-"

"Oh, fuckin hell Pikachu." Bakugo wiped the sweat from his forehead as he glared sideways at Kaminari. "You talk too much and for the last time I don't need anyone." He reiterated.

"Ok I'll let it go for now if you answer my previous question." Kaminari cheekily grinned.

"Hah?"

"When was the last time you've been with a girl you know physically? I mean you have, right?" Kaminari looked at Kirishima who was trying to signal for him to stop while he still could. Upon Bakugo's silent respond Kaminaris' eyes widened the size of saucers. "Dude please tell me that you have?!"

Bakugo slightly stumbled and tried to catch his balance while shooting him a dangerous glare. "Of course I have!"

"Who?"

"Yeah, who?" Kirishima's curiosity got the better of him fully aware that since a certain brunette had left Japan there wasn't anyone- at least to his knowledge- that Bakugo had shown even the slightest bit of interest in. He had tried to constantly convince his friend to go on dates here and there and almost succeeded once in the beginning but that only lasted a good five minutes before his friend decided to disappear, claiming he had somewhere else to be. After that he never did manage to convince him to go out on dates anymore just like last time when he skipped out on him.

"Not that I owe you morons any explanations…" The ash blond trailed off with memories of his everyday dreams flooding his mind. Memories of being so close with someone, and not just someone but someone he deeply cared for…maybe even loved in another life. Memories that felt so real to him that he couldn't help but sometimes wonder…. "There was someone…" he mumbled to himself so quietly that both boys weren't sure if they heard him correctly.

"Alright so it's official, I need to get our best bud some loving." Kaminari snickered. "Hey Jirou has some friends, maybe I can-"

"Forget it." Bakugos snapped making Kaminari pause the machine to catch his breath. "That wasteful crap doesn't mean anything to me and it's not going to help me be the best of the best."

Unable to help himself Kaminari continued to teasingly grin. "He says that because he might still be a-"

"Don't you fuckin finish that sentence Sparky!" Bakugo growled already regretting his next decision, but if it would help take the attention away from that uncomfortable topic then hell…he'd just have to suck it up. "Shitty hair!"

"Yeah?"

"Don't you have some of your unmanly shit to talk about like Raccoon eyes?!"

"Nice change of topic." Kirishima knowingly grinned as he slowed his pace.

"Yeah, what's the deal with you two?" Kaminari curiously eyed the red head.

"Well, nothing really." He admitted frowning down at the machine. "I mean it's good to see her and all, but I don't think she sees me the same as before."

With a small smirk Bakugo felt his shoulders relax when his plan to divert the attention away from him seemed to work for the time being.

"Remind me again who broke up with who?" Kaminari asked, taking a large gulp of his water bottle. "You or her?"

"I did." He shrugged remembering one of the last times he went to visit his ex-girlfriend in Italy, and it wasn't a trip he really wanted to remember. "I don't know… I guess long distance relationships can be hard. And I mean come on…she was in Europe, who was I do ruin her experience over there. I wanted her to enjoy it to the fullest like everyone else there and didn't want her to feel like she was losing out on a once in a lifetime opportunity all because of me. And it didn't seem like she disagreed on the matter either…"

"Tch." Slamming his palm against the machine to stop it, Bakugo slowed his pace until it came to a complete stop to stare back at his friend like he'd lost it. "Are you stupid or did you hit your head harder from all our time in UA?"

"Um that's debatable, but why you ask?" Kirishima copied his movements surprised to see Bakugo this interested in the topic since he didn't show signs of it before.

"Look I wasn't going to say shit but why in the fuck would you break up with someone who clearly loves you in a weird yet uncomfortable gross way the way Pinky did or does I don't even know." Bakugo took a big chug of his own water before shaking his head at Kirishima. "You fuckin idiot, if you really cared about her than you'd find a way to make it work and not throw in the towel like some damn weakling."

Secretly smiling Kirishima knew his friend knew what he was talking about. After all these years Bakugo still always spoke his mind and without even realizing it himself, said exactly what his actions did when he was with a certain gravity girl. And it seemed like nothing could convince the blond of anything else, even after having his memories slightly altered. "You really think that huh?"

"Course I do." Bakugo squinted his eyes in disdain. "Although if it were me, I'd dump Pinky a long time ago."

"Alright." Kirishima fully smiled in what seemed like a very long time. "Didn't know you cared so much man."

"I don't." He fired back. "I'm just sick of you pining over someone."

"Not pining." Kirishima quickly corrected.

"A little pining yeah." Kaminari grinned.

Bakugo was one of the first ones to know when Kirishima and Mina broke up since it was written all over his face after he came back, but never bothered to find out exactly why since that was between them two. He would however constantly find the man moping around the house until he finally offered to go out with him and a few of their friends which seemed to help bring Kirishima back little by little. "I knew you two were stupid but didn't know it was to that extend." Bakugo scoffed as he began using the towel around his neck to wipe his sweat and began walking out of the gym in need of a shower and hopefully find Hawks.

"Hey Bakugo, might wanna get cleaned up since girls don't really go for the overly sweaty type!" Kaminari playfully smiled as the other blond harshly threw his towel in his face making him stumble backwards.

After his much-needed shower in the men's locker room and fresh pair of clothing, Bakugo slung his duffel bag over his shoulder and began his long search for the wing hero. It took him a good half hour when he finally flagged him down near the front desk talking to two of the receptionists.

"-so, you see my schedules wide-"

"Oi Chicken wing!" Bakugo shouted as he stepped out the elevators and stomped his way over.

"We'll pick this up another time." Hawks flirtatiously smiled as he turned to an inpatient Bakugo. "Dynamight long time!"

"We saw each other the other day." He quickly snapped already being past his patience.

"We did." Hawks nodded in acknowledgement as he began walking down the lobby with Bakugo next to him. "But we should really catch up like we did back in the days."

"We never did that."

"Really?" Hawks raised a puzzled brow. "We really should."

"Forget that shit. I wanna talk to you."

"About what?" Hawks waved at a few heroes who just walked in after one of their patrols ended.

"The Ipponmichi case."

Halting in his steps Hawks slowly turned to face him with the same carefree smile he always carried. "I'm listening."

"I want in." Bakugo firmly met his gaze knowing that this was something he really wanted to do.

"Um excuse me?"

Narrowing his eyes it didn't go unnoticed the way Hawks nervously began to glance around the lobby. "You heard me." He repeated. "I want in on the case. Seems to me you need all the people you can to catch those assholes, so I'm your man."

"Yeah erm…" awkwardly rubbing his neck Hawks began to mumble under his breath about this being the reason he didn't come into work on his off days before pressing his lips together in a forced smile.

"So, when do I start?"

"That's the thing kid, you don't." Hawks gave an apologetic grin. "Look as much as I know you want to help- and I'm really grateful that you do- we already have plenty of people-"

"Oh, cut the shit Hawks. You need me and you know it."

"Listen Bakugo even if we were accepting people which we're not, in the end it's not really up to me." Hawks carefully dragged out the words knowing the repercussions of it. "So, my advice would be to just drop it. Continue doing what you have been doing- which great job by the way." Hawks began to walk off as he waved. "And pretty soon you'll be where I am."

"There's no way I'm dropping this." Tightly gripping the straps of his duffle bag, Bakugo angrily watched Hawks already almost out the door. "So then tell me who's in charge of this, who do I need to talk to?"

Squinting his eyes shut in preparation of what's to come, Hawks just knew that she was going to have some serious words with him afterwards, quite possibly even kill him if she could. 'She wouldn't do that…would she?'

"Come on girl you can't sit there and tell me you haven't seen one single hottie there?" Mina's voice could be heard echoing throughout the still bare apartment as Uraraka continued to stick her tongue out in concentration as she prepared Kiseki for a small stroll throughout the park a few minutes away before her, Mina and Kenzo were scheduled to meet Ryuko the dragon hero again.

"It's not like I was looking Mina." Uraraka playfully smiled down at Kiseki as he happily kicked his feet once she managed to finish getting him all dressed up.

"Party pooper." Mina said but Uraraka could hear the smile in her voice.

"Always." Uraraka gave Kiseki one more kiss on the cheek before picking him up and placing him on his little bouncer he loved so much while she began getting her diaper bag ready. "Have you talked to…"

"Kirishima? No." Mina pouted on her end as she combed through her hair. "I don't wanna look so needy you know…"

"Mina it's Kirishima, you know he won't think that." Uraraka smiled sadly remembering the way one of her best friends was so heartbroken after they ended things. It was a feeling she knew all too well and wouldn't wish that upon anyone. "Tell me again who ended things?"

"I did." Mina felt her mood suddenly change. "I wasn't here Ochaco. Not seeing him everyday was hard and both of our careers were taking off. I didn't want him to miss his chance here in Japan. And as much as I love that man, I knew he would agree…but when he did…I felt like a big part of me broke. I didn't really think he would just let me end things you know…" Mina closed her eyes remembering the look of surprise on his face when she had brought that up and quite possibly hurt.

"I know I'm not the best at giving advice on things like this Mina…but who knows what could happen. Maybe he still feels the same way."

"Ochaco ever the romantic." Mina sing songed.

"Yeah, that's me…" Uraraka gave a sad smile before shaking her head and moving back to the bouncer. "We're just about ready. Aren't we sweetheart?" she playfully tickled Kiseki's belly which made Mina smile on the other end when she heard the small giggles.

"Is he ready for his big day?"

"Not sure. We'll just have to wait and see how he takes to the other kids there." She quickly turned to the closed door on the other side. "Kenzo you ready?"

Trudging out of his room shirtless, Kenzo tiredly rubbed his eyes before shooting her an annoyed glare and silently headed towards the kitchen for something to eat.

Groaning Uraraka turned with a frown to where he had disappeared off to knowing they'd have to wait at least another few minutes before they could finally leave. "You're not ready."

Rolling his eyes he opened the fridge before pouring himself a cup of milk and rummaging through the kitchen for a bowl.

"No shirt again?" Mina asked as Uraraka took the phone off speaker and instead placed it flat against her ear as she continued to move around.

"No."

"Can you take a picture this time?"

"No Mina!"

"I'm just kidding…sort off…ok not really." Mina admitted.

"Tell that friend of yours I'm not taking a picture." He grumbled over his shoulder. "And what time are we supposed to be there?"

"In an hour." Uraraka could've sworn she had told him at least four times yesterday and several times today what time they were supposed to be there and yet he still managed to forget.

"And why am I doing that again?"

"Because it'll be good for all of us to help give back to the community." When she saw the unconvinced look in his eye, she pursed her lips. She was about to just tell him to get ready when there were three hard knocks on the door that made her jump, nearly dropping her bag.

When he saw her looking back at him Kenzo shrugged his shoulder. "Don't look at me, might be one of your little goodie goodie friends."

"Alright Mina I've gotta go." She said as she made her way to the door.

"Ok babe I'll see you in a bit."

Hanging up the phone she moved closer until she had to get on her tiptoes so she could peer through the little peephole. She could make out the distinct featured of ash blond spikes with an overly exaggerated scowl. "Crap!"

Raising a curious brow Kenzo made to stand next to Kiseki who began eyeing his bowl.

"Round face?!"

"How did he find where I live?!" she quietly screeched nervously pressing her back flat against the door.

"Oi Round face you there?!" he asked, banging his fist against the door again.

"What is he doing here?!" Her heart felt like it was about to pound out of her chest, or she was about to faint on the spot which neither one of those sat right with her. Especially when she heard her son giggle and clap his hands excitedly. "Oh no…"

When she continued to hear him banging on the door the same way he always did even in their dorm days, she tried to take a deep calm breath reassuring herself that everything was going to be alright. Who knows, maybe he just had the wrong address and needed help, or maybe he was going to leave any minute.

"Uraraka, I know you're there and I'm not leaving until you answer the door."

"Mannn." So much for her hoping. Nervously breathing out she firmly grasped the door knob making sure to only crack the door open enough for him to see her. "B-Bakugo!"

"Took you long enough." His scowl deepened when he saw her anxiously looking down the hall. "What? You expecting someone else?"

"N-no, not at all." She tightened her hold on the knob hoping it would help tame her increasing nerves. "W-what a-are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to you."

The seriousness in his tone had her finally glancing up at him with a worried look.

When he didn't get a reply, he quizzically dragged his eyes from her, back to her slightly ajar door thinking she was behaving weird again. "Aren't you going to let me in?"

"What?" Tilting her head as if just realizing what he had said, she whipped her head around in time to see Kiseki waving his hands so energetically the little toys began lighting up and making sounds. When she saw Bakugo pivoting sideways to see what all the noise was, she quickly stepped in front of him to block his view. "R-right now's not good time."

Tilting his chin upwards he regarded her with a suspicious glare until movement caught his eye. He could vaguely see the same bearded guy from the meeting walking past with a bowl of fruits and not completely dressed. In that instant it clicked. Maybe this was a bad time for her.

Shaking his head to get rid of these odd unpleasant thoughts he redirected the conversation to the most important matter at hand. "Forget about that. I need to talk about the case you and those losers have been working on."

"What about it?" She watched him with wary brown eyes. "And how did you find out where I live?"

"Well Hawks told me to talk to you about it and I was able to convince Shitty Hair to give me your address." Well, convince was a word he wouldn't really describe since it took a lot of patience and planning to get Kirishima to neglect his phone for a few minutes while he browsed through it.

Uraraka slowly blinked back at him mentally writing down the names of the people she would have some choice words with. 'Hawks-check…Kirishima-check…'

"And big bird told me you don't start work till tomorrow."

'Hawks- check again…'

"Let me work the case." He insisted when she remained silent and was seriously contemplating snapping at her for still acting so weird.

"No."

"No?" he gaped shooting his brows up in complete surprise. "Well, why the hell not?"

"I can't." Shaking her head she quickly began closing the door. "Sorry."

"What?!" Sliding his foot between the door to keep it from closing in his face, he couldn't stop the glare on his face as she looked anywhere but him.

"I can't talk right now."

"You mean ever?" He couldn't keep the sarcasm dripping from his tone since once again she tried to pretend that he didn't even exist.

Glancing back over her shoulder once she heard a playful squeal, she tried to keep a calm unreadable expression as she turned back to him. "Bakugo…"

"You're trying to get rid of me." He teasingly smirked knowing that that was indeed what she was trying to do, any idiot could see how uncomfortable she looked right now. "Just let me work the case-"

When she saw him remove his foot from the door, she didn't waste any time in closing it.

"Wait." lightly tapping his fist once against the wooded door, he slowly turned around running his hands frustrating through his hair before angrily walking down the hall.

Peeking through the peephole she silently waited until she could see him walk down the hall and out of the building. This was definitely not the way she had planned her last day before work to go. Why he would even bother to come all the way over here to ask her was definitely something Katsuki Bakugo would do especially if it was something he was interested in. She knew he would make a great addition to their team -heck everyone knew that, but that was precisely why he couldn't. He and Deku always had a way to be right there smack in the middle of everything and this was something she couldn't afford him to do. Not with this.

"Sorry." She whispered closing her eyes and tipping her head back, letting herself relax before turning around to find Kiseki and Kenzo still eyeing her strangely. "Don't look at me like that. And for the love that is All Might please put on a shirt!"
