Stomping down the hall Bakugo continued to glare at anyone who passed him and dared to make eye contact with him while heading towards the agency's gym.
"You know a smile every now and then wouldn't be too bad." Kirishima awkwardly waved at a group of interns passing by who whispered amongst each other when they did. "Not that there's really anything to really smile about."
"You're still on that shit?" Bakugo settled his searing eyes on him now.
"Yep, I definitely am, and I know you are too." He glanced sideways knowing full well that after that little incident yesterday Bakugo was eerily quiet and didn't come home last night until close to nine which was unusual for him unless he was out working. Which he assumed was part of it when his buddy came home wearing his work out clothes from spending long hours at the gym. "Why not walk up to her and apologize already? That would be the manliest thing to do."
"Not my fault those damn doors aren't completely soundproof!" he barked back which only made the red head give him an exasperated look. "Yeah, I know ok. You don't have to tell me that." He quickened his pace wanting to get back to working out his frustration the only way he knew how. "I tried to talk to her yesterday after…after…"
"After you screwed up?" Kirishima nodded in agreement ignoring the menacing glare the blond shot his way.
"Oi I may have fucked up but that doesn't mean I still can't kick your ass all the way back to UA!" he snapped back before returning to his regular scowl. "But I couldn't find her."
"You guys work in the same building. How could you not?" Kirishima slowly blinked back at him like that was the most ridiculous answer he'd heard all day.
"Think she's still avoiding me." His voice turned calm as he thought about how he tried to find her the previous day but whenever he would look for her in her office or ask Ears or Raccoon eyes if they knew where she was, he just got the cold shoulder from both of them and more lectures about learning to be a good human being from both girls while Uraraka was still nowhere to be found. He still shivered in fear about the long talk they had with all of them once the gravity girl had left and the way both girls hauled him over to Kirishimas office by force before a long conversation.
Not that they really needed to have it considering he already felt like shit. The hurt look in her eyes replayed over and over in his head and he knew apologizing would be the right thing to do.
Clapping him on the back Kirishima smiled slowly. "Look the way I see it you just need to talk to her. Remember Uraraka is one of the sweetest-HOLY CRAP!" They jumped back in time to see one of the heroes from the agency come crashing through the double doors leading to the gym.
"The hell…?" Staring wide eyed and opened mouth, Bakugo watched as the guy painfully groaned before clutching his stomach.
"Hey man, you ok?" Kirishima was the one to crouch down to see if he was alright.
"Fine. Just…" Wincing he grabbed his stomach tighter. "Thought… I'd train… with the new girl…shouldn't have…"
"New girl?" Kirishima raised a puzzled brow as he helped the guy up.
"Uravity…" he grimaced as he pointed his finger towards the gym.
"She do this to you?" Bakugo couldn't help but eagerly smile when the guy nodded and found himself already pushing past them to get inside. "Should've known better than to try and mess with her you damn idiot."
"Didn't know she could fight like that." The guy whipped his head towards Kirishima who once he was sure the guy would be alright just shrugged his shoulders before following his friend in.
Momentarily stopping Bakugo could see Uraraka already panting as she wiped her sweaty forehead in preparation for another person's attack.
Normally Bakugo would be furious that this place was flocking with people yet again but found himself proudly crossing his arms over his chest as he continued to observe the fight in front of him, raising a brow at the line of people wanting to go next.
"How long has she been here?" Kirishima asked to no one in particular.
"Hmm I'd say about an hour and a half." Kaminari walked up just as fixated on the next person who landed on the mat after Uraraka gave him a swift kick to the side of the leg before flinging them over her shoulder. "Wouldn't wanna be this guy right now I'll tell you that." He pointed. "Or the ones before. She doesn't seem like she's in the best of moods. No way am I going in there."
"One guess why that could be." Kirishima muttered under his breath before couching.
Closing her eyes after she threw another one of her opponents out of the mat, she glared back at the others who didn't think she could hold her own in a fight earlier and thought she needed help.
"She does look like she's improved quite a bit too." Kaminari had to admit before feeling something brush against his shoulder, not at all surprised to see Bakugo making a beeline to the front of the line. "Um where's he going?"
"Where do you think?" Bakugo said over his shoulder. His wicked smile continued to grow as the adrenaline kept pumping through his veins at the thought of sparring with her again after so long. There were very few people who could match his drive when it came to hand-to-hand combat and he knew that she was definitely one of them, especially after she had that internship with Gunhead during their first year.
He hadn't met anyone that could hold a flame to her fighting style and definitely could put up a good fight anytime of the day and if he had to be honest with himself, he could admit that whenever he remembered her out in the field she looked quite bad ass too.
Being too busy caught up in his own head he failed to see her whip around when she wondered who was next in line. Any other thoughts going out the window when he could see the fire in her brown eyes ignite brighter.
This was it. This was the moment he'd been waiting for. This was the Ochaco Uraraka he'd been waiting for to get in the ring with him again.
"What do you want?" Her face held no hint of the usually friendly girl he knew as she emotionlessly stared back.
"You think you can take me on next?" He gave her an unimpressed once over that just made her slowly narrow her eyes as he slowly began to challengingly step closer.
"I don't have time for this." She angrily shook her head as she turned to wait for whoever was next in line seeing another guy step up until he was quickly blocked when Bakugo stepped in front of her.
"Why the hell not?" he frowned.
"I'm here to train Bakugo." She gestured around them before waving the next person over. "So, if you'll excuse me…"
"You can wait." He sternly said to the guy behind him who instead took a step back before returning his attention to her. "Look about yesterday I-"
"Nothing to talk about really." She pressed her lips together before gesturing the guy over again.
When he saw him take a hesitant step forward Bakugo snapped his head around. "We're talking! You can wait!"
"No we're not." She firmly said and pivoted her head sideways wondering what was taking so long.
"I swear if you take one step…" he warningly glared back at the poor guy who nervously gulped and pretended to look elsewhere along with the rest of the people in line.
Scoffing, she irritatingly shook her head before walking towards one of the treadmills nearby where her stuff was, ignoring all the groans of protest after her absence.
"Come on man!"
"Seriously!"
"Great going Dynamight."
"You all can just shut the hell up!" he barked back following closely behind her.
"Oh man…I really wanted a turn too…" Kaminari faked a small pout which just made Kirishima amusingly roll his eyes before shoving him towards one of the machines.
"Come on might as well get some work done too."
When she arrived at the machine, she swiftly picked up her bag before taking a big sip from her water bottle. The memories of yesterday still remained fresh in her mind and she promised herself she wasn't going to feel that vulnerable again. Not even as he stood there ready to spar with her like they used, instead tugging that little memory away just like she told herself she would. Maybe this wasn't the Bakugo she had fallen in love with, he had after all lost his memory of them so what else was she expecting?
"What the hell Cheeks? I was looking all over the damn place yesterday to-"
"To what Bakugo? Apologize?" her brows shot up disbelievingly. "You shouldn't have to especially if that's how you truly feel. Isn't that what you always say?" When she saw him clenching his jaw with his eyes never leaving hers. She only nodded. "I'm not mad about how you feel. We're not all the same. And no matter what you or anyone else thinks about me that won't change my mind on the matter. I love being a mother, and I love my son and yes it can be difficult at times, but I do it all for my son everyday if I have to. But I wouldn't expect someone like you to understand."
"And what the hell does that mean?" He offendedly frowned.
Snapping her mouth shut, she knew it was wrong to let her anger and frustration do the talking but she couldn't stop the bleeding in her chest. "I should really get going."
"No wait." He made to grab her arm, but she swiftly sidestepped him, grabbing his wrist and twisted it behind his back driving him to the ground with her knee on his back. "Damn it! Uraraka!"
"Oh, that's not good." Kirishima grimaced when he saw Bakugo's smile turning dangerous.
"You know…" Bakugo winced when he felt her pushing her knee further into his back. "I could easily get out of this."
She knew it was true since with a sparring partner like him you always had to prepare for any possibilities. He was someone who wouldn't stay down willingly so she was surprised when he didn't make any attempt to shove her off.
"How about you just leave me alone." She said between clenched teeth before releasing her hold, grabbing her bag, and walking out. Getting to his feet he tried to cool down his frustration, but it didn't do much good when he turned to see his friend's awkward expression as if expecting him to blow up soon. "Shut up." he grumbled as he passed them.

Frustratingly, slamming his locker open he began to change into his hero suit after his shower and still bitter about what happened that morning. Snatching the metal necklace from inside he quickly put it on and placed it underneath his shirt before turning to buckle his boots on the nearby bench.
"Why so moody?" Kaminari sat down next to his feet with a knowing smile. "Could it be because our favorite sweet Uraraka has bested you?"
"What?" Sero and Sato both turned from what they were doing to get the details from a grinning Chargebolt.
"She didn't best me alright. She just got lucky that I let her win." He began working on his other boot. "Next time she won't be."
"Well correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the whole point of this to apologize?" Kirishima said from his spot a few lockers down. "So, I don't think a full-on fight is the way to do it."
"You're talking with Mister blow stuff up and ask questions later." Sero reminded him.
"You know what? Screw you guys." Slamming his locker shut he furiously marched towards the locker doors.
"What? Oh come on you know we were just playing." Kaminari grinned before turning to the two. "You should've seen it though…"
When he finally made it to his floor he halted in his steps when he saw the Winged hero talking with someone. "Oi Bird man!"
"Hmm?" Shifting his gaze sideways Hawks quickly excused himself before acknowledging Bakugo as he approached. "Hey kid, how's it going?"
Rolling his eyes at the jab Bakugo locked eyes with his. "Hawks let me help."
Cringing Hawks began to lazily walk down the hall as Bakugo followed. "Sorry kid like I said, it's not my call."
"I know what you said, but there's gotta be another way."
"No can do Dynamight, I'm already in the doghouse because of you and trust me that's not a place you wanna be with Uravity."
"I have an idea." He sarcastically squinted his eyes.
"Oh no, what did you do?" The eagerness of some juicy gossip shone brightly in his golden eyes as Hawks gave him a listening ear.
"Doesn't matter, she won't talk to me." He briefly averted his eyes.
"Well as much as I hate to say this man, I can't be the one to make this decision."
"But I don't get it. Why the hell not?"
Opening his mouth to respond Hawks's eyes fell on a small brunette stepping out of the elevators with Mina. "And here she is! The woman of the hour."
The smile on her face instantly froze when she saw both of them together, which could only mean one thing.
"I think that's you." Mina nudged her.
"Thanks Mina." Uraraka gave her friend a meaningful look before she made to walk the other way.
"Oh no you don't girl." Grabbing her by the arm, Mina began dragging her down the hall. "I know what they said what pretty stupid and messed up on their part. But avoiding this isn't going to help."
"But I have a meeting with Todoroki to get to." Uraraka argued back.
"That's not for another few minutes." Mina said smiling as Uraraka gave her a small pout.
"Hey!" Hawks raised his hand in greeting once the two girls made it to them.
Pursing her lips Uraraka decided to give the hero a death glare before slowly dragging her eyes to Bakugo who already had his gaze on her.
"Hey."
Ignoring the way his calm voice made her feel she only spared him a single look before addressing Hawks once more. "What is it?"
"Oh you know…we were just talking about the Ipponmichi case and how-"
"No." she plainly said which made all eyes turn to her. "I thought we already talked about this."
"Nooo you talked about it." Bakugo pointed his finger. "Even Hawks has the good sense to know when I can be an asset to this."
"What does he mean 'Even Hawks'?" Hawks asked Mina who just sympathetically patted him on the arm.
"Best not to look into it."
"Doesn't matter. The answer's still no." Uraraka said as she walked off.
"Ok how about this? You give me the real reason why I can't, and I'll let it go." Bakugo quickly said as he caught up with her. "But I bet you, you can't."
"I don't have to." She fired back as she turned to face him. "My answer is and will be NO."
"You got a fuckin problem with me Round-face?"
"Maybe I do."
Scoffing, he rubbed the top of his head before stepping closer to her. She remained standing there purely out of stubbornness and raised her chin up. "You wanna go Uraraka?"
"No but I really wish you would."
Chuckling, he couldn't keep the small smile from his face when he saw the determination in her eyes match his. "If this is about the other day. I'm sorry alright. I know you must think I'm an asshole in every way possible. But yesterday when I said that I just I don't know…I just let my mouth run away from me."
"Not the first time as I recall." She attempted to sidestep him, but he managed to block her which just made her puff her cheeks out in annoyance.
Slowing narrowing his eyes he was just about done trying to reason with this girl who obviously didn't care two shits about his apology or what he said. So, screw being nice, screw being nice to her. He was just going to let her have it. "Oi you know what Cheeks-SON OF A SHIT!" Grabbing his throbbing nose he repeatedly blinked trying to stay on his feet before his wobbly legs gave out on him.
"EEP!" Covering her mouth in surprise the moment the door next to them swung open successfully hitting the explosive hero right in the face. Staring wide eyed at both Todoroki and Deku who looked just as baffled to see Bakugo now on the floor and trying to shake the pain away while still clutching his nose.
"Bakugo?" Todoroki's stoic voice only made the other man glare up at him. "What are you doing there?"
"Kacchan are you alright?!" Deku quickly rushed to help him but stopped when the blond stubbornly smacked his hand away.
"Do I look like I'm alright?!" Bakugo growled removing his hand and cursed under his breath when he saw blood on it.
"No." Todoroki answered honestly.
"He's bleeding!" Uraraka frantically looked between them making Bakugo slowly blink at the three of them wondering why he even associated with them in the first place.
"You should really get that checked out." Deku tried to help him again.
"Woah what happened here?" Mina quizzically bounced her eyes between them when she approached stopping at an irritated blond clutching his nose. "Ooh did Ochaco do this?" She proudly grinned walking up to the girl.
"Sadly no." Uraraka said which prompted his crimson eyes to stare daggers at her unfazed ones.
"Actually…" nervously rubbing the side of his temple Deku stared back at Todoroki. "Todoroki was the one who accidentally hit Kacchan with the door."
"Accident my ass." He mumbled. "Talk about a hostile work environment."
"What were you doing there?" Todoroki stared at him the way a parent would his child when caught doing something he didn't understand. "You do know that's not safe."
"Not with someone like you around! I mean who the hell opens a damn door like that?!"
"You do." Everyone said in unison which just made his eye twitch and angrily stomped his way down to the elevator to get his nose taken care of.
"Man, I always miss the good stuff." Mina pouted as she went to look for Hagakure to start their patrol.
Shaking her head Uraraka turned to walk into Todoroki's office. "Sorry I'm late."
After excusing himself he closed the door and walked over to sit himself in his seat facing her. "It's ok, after that display out there it's understandable. What was it anyway? Midoriya and I heard some raised voices which was when…"
"Gotcha." She pressed her lips together trying to suppress her amusement about what happened but also hoping Bakugo was alright. Despite how she felt about the way he reacted before, she still cared about him. "Hope he's alright."
"Which was one of the reasons I asked you to meet me."
"What is it?" she stiffened in her seat when she caught the slight seriousness in his voice.
"How are you doing being back and all?" he carefully asked.
"It's taken some getting adjusting to that's for sure." She admitted fidgeting in her seat. "But to be honest…it's almost as if I never left." She gave a small smile as she dragged her eyes downwards, not sure yet whether that was a good or bad thing.
"That's almost true, except now we're able to help more and help rebuilt a society that we can honestly be proud to be a part of."
"Has anyone told you that this suits you?" she smiled up at his questioning gaze. "This I mean, you've been doing a great job here Todoroki. You all have. Never thought I'd see you sitting here and taking charge of your father's company."
"Can I tell you something?" When he saw her nodding, he leaned forward linking his hands together. "Neither did I. But when Endeavor told me about his plans…how could I not? This way we can help more people with the resources we have at our disposal, and to tell you the truth…I could never have done all this without everyone's help. You, Midoriya, Iida…everyone has been a huge help."
"It wasn't really me." She sheepishly grinned. "The others-"
"No, you were a part of it too Uraraka." He stared at her for a few more seconds before quickly blinking and leaning back in his seat. "But another reason I asked you here was to ask…is everything ok with you and Bakugo?"
"So you've noticed…" she embarrassingly stated as she looked away.
"Pretty sure most have." He frowned. "Thought you two were close like the rest of us."
Chewing on her bottom lip she hated not knowing how much everyone really remembered when it came to the two of them and felt like she constantly had to walk on eggshells to not give anything away. "We were…I guess."
"So what's changed if you don't mind me asking?"
"Nothing's changed really…or I guess maybe I have."
Hearing the sadness at the end of her sentence he knew that maybe this was perhaps something he didn't understand. "I'm sorry if I overstepped. It's just… I remember the two of you getting along great in school, so I guess I was just trying to understand."
"No it's alright Todoroki, you're not the only one."
"I guess what I'm also trying to find out is if whatever this is, will cause the two of you unable to work together going forward if there was a need for it."
"No, it's fine I promise." She eagerly sat up straighter to give him her honest answer. "This won't interfere with our work. I promise."
"How about the case you and Hawks have been working on?"
Slouching back in her seat she began fiddling with her fingers. "I just don't know if he'll be a good fit is all."
"Bakugo?" he raised his brows. "You of all people should know that he's more than capable Uraraka. But then I suppose it is your decision and I won't interfere. But should any of you need anything…please ask. I'll do what I can on my part to help."
"Definitely suits you." She proudly smiled as she got to her feet.
"Did I tell you how glad I am that you're back?" He gave her a small smile in return as he stood to escort her out.
"You did. Thank you Todoroki."

The moment she stepped out of the office she tiredly rubbed her temple thinking of the pile of work that still needed to be done which was why she let out a loud squeal when her arm was snatched in an iron grip and yanked into the small rec room she had passed a few times. Once dragged inside she flinched when she heard the door being slammed shut and a familiar figure towering over her making her shoulder rise and head lower.
It didn't take her long to guess who it could be when her eyes met the trademark orange 'X' on the chest facing her.
She didn't even get the chance to speak when her eyes raised up to see his face twisted in annoyance while he continued to hold a pack of ice against his swollen nose knowing that if she didn't continue to suppress her giggle then things would only go badly for both of them.
So caught up in her own shock she barely registered the two other people in the room sitting on the couch, each holding a game controller until one of them spoke after hearing the door slam shut. "Hey what the-"
"Beat it." Bakugo barked over his shoulder with his dangerous eyes fixated on her.
"Hey you can't just-" When they saw Bakugo glaring back they instantly stood from the couch dropping their controllers and raising their hands. "You know what we were just leaving anyways…"
Pursing her lips she followed the two people leave until the unforgettable sound of the door closing echoed in her ears. 'Great…'
"Something needs to be clear between us Round Face."
Inhaling deeply and bracing for what's to come, she slowly raised her chin to lock eyes with his before she had to look sideways when her heart began to thump wildly at the close proximity feeling the need to take a step back.
"You don't like me and frankly I don't give a shit if you do." he slowly said between clenched teeth pushing that annoying nagging feeling aside that kept trying to tell him otherwise.
"Good, glad we agree on something." She sarcastically smiled which just seemed to irk him more when she saw his eye twitch again. "Now if you don't mind-" When she felt him pull her back by the arm her smile vanished into annoyance.
"Hold it. What the hell's your problem?!"
"I don't have a problem."
"I beg to fuckin differ." He squinted his eyes in irritation. "You and your whole damn attitude towards me-"
"I don't have an attitude problem. You have aperception problem." She stubbornly crossed her arms over her chest which just made him stare at her for a few seconds before scoffing and shaking his head.
"Whatever the fuck you wanna call that shit then." He winced when he accidentally pressed down too hard on the ice, his eyes dragging back to her when he saw her bite her lip. "Something funny?"
"You should really get that checked out."
Any other time he would bite her head off for even doubting he could take a small hit like getting smacked in the face by a door as an insult, but the genuine concern in her voice made him bite back any smart retored he had planned. "Don't change the subject."
"I'm not." She argued back.
"Then why the hell can't I work the case? And don't give me any of that bullshit lie either." He pointed a stern finger towards her. "You know I hate liars."
Snapping her mouth shut, she nervously looked down knowing that to be true and she really didn't want to keep lying to him but knew that right now she had no choice in the matter, so she opted to tell him something that was true. "I just don't think it's a good idea, and besides there's a lot we've already gone through that would take forever to catch you up on-"
"I'm a fast learner." He confidently stared at her knowing there was no way she could argue otherwise. "What else you've got?"
"Look it's my decision." She firmly said with finality, slightly surprising him. "And I say no."
Scoffing he regarded her for a minute before slowly nodding and walking over to the couch. "Still didn't give me a solid reason."
"I don't have to." She frowned when she saw him exhaustingly sit back on the couch and placing the ice pack on the nearby table next to an unfinished glass of milk that one of the previous occupants had forgotten and heard him mumble something about people needing to clean up after themselves. "What are you doing now?"
"It's called relaxing, ever heard of it? Or have you just been too busy with a damn stick up your ass to remember?" he huffed impatiently tapping his finger against his knee before turning his head to see her furiously stomp towards the door. "How about this, I play you. Best two out of three. And if I win you tell me exactly why the hell you don't want me working with you guys."
"And if I win?" she cautiously asked as she slowly approached the couch.
"Then I'll drop it." He shrugged his shoulder as he watched the screen on the tv change.
Chewing on her bottom lip she timidly sat herself as far away on the couch as she could before warily eyeing the controller next to her.
"Come on Round Face don't tell me you forgot how to play?" he teased when he saw her raise it to her lap.
Puffing out her cheeks she decided not to humor him with a respond and instead decided to make him eat his words.
When she saw the game finally load up she couldn't stop the excited smile crossing her face when she realized what racing game it was instantly recognizing it as one they would constantly have in their common area back at UA. "Really?" she asked, taking a quick peek at him and was surprised at how focused he looked with the hint of a smile.
After he won the first round and she won the second round which completely wiped any amusement from his face, she found herself sitting at the edge of the couch while he continued to occasionally jump and stick his tongue out in concentration when they were coming up on the second lap.
When one of the other drivers was about to throw a shell in her direction, she had managed to stir right just in time for it to bypass her and hit him instead. Watching his character frustratingly whirl around in circles as she passed had her full on laughing now, even more so when he began yelling at the screen. "Can't win them all blasty."
"HA trash talking too soon." He grinned while his eyes never left the game, he silently chuckled whenever he would catch her sneak a peek at him. In his mind this was supposed to be a simple game where he would of course come out the winner but was pleasantly surprised to find how much fun he was actually having. Something he hasn't felt he had in a while.
When she felt her confidence soaring once she was sure she had a good lead on him she knew that it was the wrong move as soon as he picked up a shell. "Really?!" She managed to shout right as it hit her car as she was jumping over a cliff, making her character fall before righting itself again. "NO!"
"YEAH!" Shooting off the couch the same time she did, he mockingly shook his head right as his character passed the finish line. "Can't win them all Floaty."
"What…that's not…you…" she continued to gape while he triumphantly dropped the controller on the couch, he began clapping his hand on his thigh all while keeling over on the couch as she still tried to process what just happened.
"Cheeks…your face…you should see…" he only managed to wheeze out between laughter.
As she continued to stare at him in shock, she felt her irritation slowly rise to the surface. He was actually laughing at her! He was genuinely laughing at her the way she would catch him do on rare occasions that made her want to smile at the sound and that just frustrated her even more. "Are you laughing at me?!"
"Hell yeah I am." He continued to shake with laughter, squinting his eyes shut.
Pressing her lips together, she didn't know whether she wanted to seriously strangle him for pulling something like that or pull him towards her and forget about anything else just to tell him how much she'd missed him. Holding onto her anger instead she took a quick step closer which just made him jolt up by reflex.
"Calm down Round face….it was…it was…" grabbing his stomach he leaned slightly forward trying to calm his laughter. "That shit was priceless…." He finished saying while wiping his eyes and meeting her with a genuine smile. "Oh man…"
The instant she felt herself blush; she grabbed one of the nearby pillows on the couch throwing it directly at him which he effortlessly dodges with a proud smirk. "Gotta do better t-" wincing when he felt the second pillow luckily smack him in the side of his face instead of his nose he glowered when he heard the sound of her laughter a second before the pillow fell straight down knocking over the glass of milk nearby. "You…SHIT!"
Covering her mouth gasping she swore she saw everything moving in slow motion as the glass of milk spilled down his pants and in a location he really didn't want it. "Oops…"
"The fuck Uraraka?!" His eyes widened instantly with murderous intent.
"Accident?" she cringed holding her pleading hands outwards as she took cautious steps backwards. How did this day turn from her wanting to beat him for what he said yesterday to him now staring at her like she was his primary target in a murder. "I um…that wasn't supposed to happen…" Nervously rubbing the back of her head she was thankful when her back finally made contact with the doorknob and without a second to spare ran out. "Gotta go."
"Oi no you don't!" he shouted as he made to run after but only seeing the black and pink of her hero uniform disappearing around the corner. "URARAKA!"
"Please don't let him catch me, please don't let him catch me…" she continued to plead to any higher being watching. "Oh man why does this always happen to me?" hearing the screeching sounds of his boots made her momentarily look over her shoulder to find him nearly collapse with another hero when he turned the corner and try to balance himself before making a go for her again.
Laughing, she forced her legs to move faster when she heard him continue to shout at her with a few people desperately trying to dodge out of the way.
"Round Face get back here!"
Frowning Kirishima banged on the vending machine in the break room when his favorite candy bar with FatGums logo got stuck, unaware of all the racket going on outside of the room. "Man come on!" he groaned trying to bang on it a little harder this time. "I need this!"
"Kirishima!" Uraraka was thankful to see the familiar turf of spiky red hair not too far away. "Kirishima save me!"
"Hmm?" His frown deepened as he thoughtfully rubbed his chin pretty sure he's heard this before. "Why am I suddenly getting a sense of déjà vu here?" he asked out loud before turning towards the door where he could clearly see a frantic Uraraka running towards him. "Ahh that's why." He grinned when she stopped in front of him, barely able to contain the panic in her voice.
"Kirishima, you have to help me!"
"Whatcha do this time?" He chuckled before banging on the machine again.
"N-nothing I just um…" fearing for her life she quickly turned the red head to block her from being spotted when she saw Bakugo slow his pace to a jog before curiously looking around. "It all just happened so fast…we decided to play a video game in the rec room and then my life as I know it just ended."
"Ok…who is we?" raising a curious brow he waited before her eyes met his again.
"Bakugo…and I accidentally spilled something on him." She cringed when he let out a disbelieving laugh. "Not now Kirishima."
"Well at least you guys are talking again so that's something."
"Not great." She bitterly smiled. "I just…need you to distract him for a minute."
"You do realize your talking about Bakubro right?" his smile grew when she gave him an unamused look. "Although I have to admit I did kinda miss this..."
"Well, I'm glad my life and death situation amuses you so." She frustratingly dragged her hands down her face before banging the machine successfully releasing the candy bar much to Kirishima's surprise. "So, you gonna help me or not?"
"Damn it!" Bakugo hissed trying to look past all the cubicles in the way. How someone like Uraraka managed to escape him in a place where he spends most of his time was beyond him, but than again she was smaller than him so she could be out of this damn building by now. Stomping down another aisle he glared at a few extras who turned to look at him. After what seemed like hours even though he knew it was only a mere few minutes, he rolled his eyes before stomping over to the break room where he was sure to find a hungry Red Riot. "Of course."
He tried to keep the scowl on his face since he was still pretty pissed for what she did accident or not, what was he supposed to do now? Walk around with fucked up pants?!
"Shitty Hair!"
"Bakugo hey! How are ya man?" Kirishima leaned against the door frame with one of his regular cheerful smiles that to Bakugo currently seemed overly forced.
"Cut the crap, where is she?"
"Who?" Kirishima asked tilting his head sideways while Bakugo just stared pointedly back.
"You know who I'm talking about otherwise you wouldn't be wearing that stupid look on your face." Pushing past him he surveyed the room pretty confident that she must be around here somewhere.
"That's wrong man." Kirishima offensively frowned. "Especially since that's how I always look."
"Exactly." Bakugo huffed when he came up empty and returned to staring at Kirishima. "You always have that stupid friendly smile-"
"Hey!"
"But right now it seems more forced, not to mention you're fuckin sweating like you've got something to hide."
"Yup definitely rusty." Kirishima disappointingly mumbled to himself realizing that he was in fact sweating bullets. "Well maybe it's just hot in here."
"You're pretty much shirtless all the time." Bakugo gestured to his hero suit.
"Well maybe I just ate something spicy like you do."
"Doubt out." Bakugo looked around the room again. "You're holding a damn candy bar dipshit."
"Dang it!"
Smacking herself upside the head Uraraka was surprised that by this point he hadn't found her hiding behind the door, but nonetheless was thankful that he hadn't.
Clicking his tongue Bakugo made to move past the red head before he curiously turned to him again. "But you know what's even weirder?"
"What?"
"That you haven't asked me once why I was looking for her like you normally would…" When he heard Kirishimas audible gulp, he knew he was right. "Or what the hell happened to my pants- when I know for a fact you'd have something to say about it."
Pressing his lips together it took all the strength he had not to bust out laughing the minute Bakugo had walked in with an obvious white mark on his black pants knowing he had to remain calm, otherwise he'd catch on but what he didn't realize was that that was his first mistake. "Oh that…"
Nodding Bakugo carefully eyed him before his arm shot sideways and pulled a startled Uraraka out.
"EEP! Kirishima!"
"H-Hey Uraraka what are you doing here?" He awkwardly laughed when Bakugo shot him a 'I'll deal with you later' look before dragging her out and along the wall before releasing her.
"Um sorry…?" She twiddled her thumbs when he stepped dangerously closer but this time she had no way of stepping back so she tried to push herself as far back against the wall ignoring the ever-growing blush.
"Sorry?" he sarcastically spat back. "The fuck am I supposed to do now?!"
"Um wash it?" she awkwardly squinted her eyes in apology. "Look it was an accident and I-I'm sure no one will even notice-"
"Bahahaha…dude…what happened to your pants?" Sero hysterically pointed out walking along the hall with Kaminari and Mineta.
"Isn't it obvious?" Mineta laughed into his hand which just made Bakugo glower back at her.
"Round Face…"
"O-ok maybe some will notice…" she quickly backpedaled trying to keep her face as serious as possible until Kaminari let out another fit of laughter and she couldn't stop herself.
"I. Will. Kill. You. All." His eyes turned maliciously white making all three boys quickly run off, but he could still hear their laughter down the hall.
"I'm sorry." She tried to keep her voice as steady as possible, but he heard the trembling tone.
"I have my shift coming up. What the hell am I supposed to do?!" he said between his teeth, which just made her laugh even harder until she saw the anger growing on his face.
"Sorry…not funny." She choked back.
He wasn't going to tell her that he kept cleaning supplies along with extra bars of soap in his locker downstairs and still had time to try and clean the mess that was made but that still didn't change the fact that that he wasn't necessarily fond of walking around with slightly wet pants. The only good thing about this situation was that he won that dumb game, so now it was time for her to pay up. "Whatever, now about our deal-"
"What deal?" she suddenly looked up waiting for him to elaborate.
"You're kidding right?" He stared at her like she must've been joking until she curiously blinked back at him. "I won the damn game!"
"So?"
"We had a deal, if I win you have to tell me why the hell you won't let me help."
"Actually…" she lightly jabbed her finger in his chest momentarily making him take a step back. "I never agreed to such thing. That was all you." She cheekily grinned taking enjoyment when he stared at her like a gaping fish before she moved out of the way to leave.
"Wait so you're telling me that I got nothing to show for it except this damn shit on my pants?!"
"You won, didn't you?" she pressed her lips together in a tight lip smile when he marched over to her.
Repeatedly opening and closing his mouth he slowly nodded. "You and me are going to have some serious problems you know that Cheeks?" He scowled down at her, but she caught the hint of amusement in his eyes before he shook his head and began heading downstairs.
