Crossover Teen Wolf/Flash

When Caitlin Snow was 13 she was bitten by a werewolf while visiting her Aunt and younger cousin in Beacon Hills.

Part 1A/N This takes place in an alternate universe to both the Flash and Teen Woof series. While some things will remain the same for both many others will change.

2002

Beacon Hills California

Caitlin Snow sat on the shore of a lake with her friend Laura Hale in the Beacon Hills nature preserve. Laura was fifteen but didn't mind having the younger teen around. They had met nearly six years earlier while Caitlin and her twin sister Crystal were visiting their Aunt and new baby cousin Lydia. Natalie Martin had brought the two seven year olds to the same park that Talia Hale had brought her children the then nine year old Laura, her younger brother eight year old Derek and baby Cora. Crystal had run off and started to climb the monkey bars right away. Caitlin the more reserved of the two walked over to the swings. As she went to get on one an older boy pushed her to the ground laughing. Laura not liking a bully first helped Caitlin up and then shoved the boy off. She glared at him and he ran off with two of his buddies who had been on the other swings. The two girls had been friends ever since.

"So Caitlin, I thought you liked spending time with your cousin." Said Laura

"I do. It's just that she is annoying in the fact that she tries to hide how smart she really is. I mean she could be in at least fourth grade rather than going into second."

"Have you considered that maybe Lydia has made friends she wants to be with? My sister Cora hasn't had an easy time making friends."

"Well there is the fact she can't tell your family secret."

"Yeah well Derek and Uncle Peter hate that you found out. Yet my mother one of the most powerful and respected Alphas alive has no problem with it. She told them that there is a reason that you found out and when the time is right they will understand."

"Do you know? I mean you are the one she has chosen to be her second."

"I have an idea but my mother will not confirm it. She only tells me that all will be revealed in time. I don't believe that it was a coincidence that we met that day in the park. My mother rarely took us to a park in town. In fact most of the time we didn't go into town for anything but school. I think my mother wanted us to meet. That someone told her about you and that you are special. In what way I don't know."

"Is it possible that she was told by someone about me? I mean like a psychic?"

"I didn't think you believed in psychics."

"I am open to the possibility seeing as I didn't believe in werewolves until I saw your eyes glow golden yellow and claws either. So anything is possible."

"You have a point."

Just then an arrow came flying out of the trees followed by gun fire.

"Hunters! Run Caitlin!" Yelled Laura

Both girls got up and started to run. Laura knew she couldn't run as fast as she could with Caitlin with her. They were nearly to the clearing that held the Hale house when Caitlin fell to the ground. Laura smelt the blood from her friend before she dropped to the ground next to her checking on her. She heard a growl before her Uncle Peter and another member of her family and pack came upon them.

"Peter help Caitlin we need to get her to the house." Said Laura

"Why you are so attached to this human I will never understand." Grumbled Peter as he picked up the young teenage girl.

"Shut up and get to the house." Said Laura

They reach the house minutes later Peter placing Caitlin on the kitchen table. Laura's mother Talia approached Caitlin who had taken both a bullet and an arrow. The bullet was a through and through to her left shoulder. The arrow was only inches from the human girl's heart. If they tried to remove it Caitlin might bleed out. If they didn't she would probably die of internal bleeding before she could reach the hospital. Talia knew that the best possible chance at survival for her daughter's friend was to give the girl "the bite". Something she rarely even considered doing.

"Mom is Caitlin going to be ok?" asked Laura

"She is in bad shape. There is only one way she might have a chance. But we need to wake her. I need to know that she wants it." Said Talia

"You mean you have to turn her?" asked Laura

"Yes. She has the potential to be something special something that is rare among our kind. But she needs to want this life. Now help me wake her."

Laura nodded and gently slapped Caitlin's face.

"Caitlin wake up. My mom has a way to help you. But we need to know that you want it. That you want to be like me." Said Laura

"Yes." Said Caitlin

"Caitlin, you know that this might not work. That you still may die." Said Talia

"Yes. I know the risk. I accept them do it."

"This is going to hurt."

Talia shifted releasing her fangs and then bite Caitlin as close as she could to the teen's heart. Caitlin let out a whimper and soon passed out again. Talia pushed the sweat dampen hair back from Caitlin's face.

"Get some bandages and the disinfectant. We will know soon if she rejects the bite or not. We have to leave the arrow in place until we know that her body hasn't rejected the bite. Laura clean the injuries while I give Natalie Martin a call and let her know that Caitlin is staying the night here. Peter once Laura has cleaned and bandaged Caitlin take her and put her in the guest room." Said Talia

Laura went to work on her friend while Peter grumbled that they should have just let the girl die in the woods. Laura mostly ignored her Uncle. He hadn't been happy since Talia told him that he was not her second and that Laura was. Laura gently cleaned the injuries to her friend. Her eyes went wide seeing that the bullet wound had already begun to close nearly as fast as one on her would. She noticed that her younger sister Cara had come into the kitchen.

"Cora go get mom now." Said Laura

Cora ran off and Talia returned a couple minutes later. She smiled when she saw why Laura wanted her.

"We can remove the arrow now."

"Mom, have you ever seen anyone take to the bite this fast?"

"No I only heard of it once before that was over sixty years ago. The man that was turned became a True Alpha."

"You think Caitlin is a potential True Alpha?"

"Yes it was one of the reasons I always planed to offer her the bite. I had hoped to wait a few more years though."

"You never offer the bite to anyone."

"True. But Satomi told me if I didn't she would and groom her to take over her pack when the time comes. The way I have been training you."

"You are planning to train Caitlin to be the Alpha of her own pack once she is able to become a true Alpha."

"Yes. Laura, take your friend upstairs and stay with her until she wakes."

Laura nodded and Peter came and lifted Caitlin up and carried her upstairs. Laura could hear her Uncle mumbling under his breath. He placed her not too gently on the bed and left the room. Laura pulled a chair up next to the bed and covered her friend with a blanket.

The sun was just starting to rise when Laura noticed Caitlin waking up. Knowing that her friend's senses would most likely be heightened she spoke softly.

"Caitlin, it's ok. You are safe and all healed." Said Laura

"Your mom bit me?"

"Yes. I don't know if you remember but you told her that it was ok."

"I remember."

"You ready to get up and take a shower?"

"Yeah. I don't have anything to change into though."

"We are close enough in size. You shower I will get you some of my clothes to wear. My mom called your Aunt to let her know you were spending the night. Not sure exactly what she told her though."

"I am not too worried about Aunt Natalie. It's Crystal that is going to be the problem. My twin is like the only one I have never been able to get to believe a lie. My mom is never around so it is easy to lie to her."

"Crystal may need to be told that you are now a werewolf. Someone is going to have to keep you in check during the full moon when you go home after the summer."

"She is going to love that. The wild twin keeping the responsible one in check during the full moon so that I don't go on a killing spree."

"Would you rather tell your mother?"

Caitlin growled and eyes flash gold for a second before returning to their normal brown.

"Ok we know something that could trigger your shift. Go shower I will get you some clothes."

Caitlin headed into the bathroom and started the shower. Laura went to her room and grabbed a clean pair of jeans and t-shirt. She returned as Caitlin walked out of the bathroom. Caitlin dressed and they headed down to breakfast both Laura and Talia noticed Caitlin wince at the noise the younger children were making.

"You will get use to your heighten senses." Said Talia

"QUITE DOWN KIDS!" Yelled Peter

Caitlin winced at his voice as the loud din became a more bearable level.

"I told your Aunt that you fell to sleep watching movies with Laura. I will drive you back to your Aunt's after breakfast. I will also make arrangements for you to spend the night during the full moon next week." Said Talia

"I kind of figured. Laura mentioned telling my sister so she can watch me after I go home." Said Caitlin

"Yes, your sister will need to know. Hopefully we can help you gain control fast. First we will need to find your anchor. What makes you want to be human."

"That is easy. I don't want to hurt my cousin Lydia or sister. They are two of the most important people in my life."

"Good. Family is important. I know that your mother is a source of anger for you. But anger can cause you to shift, particularly during the full moon. So you will need to get a handle on it." Said Talia

"I understand that. I am going to try and not let my mother not being there for me anger me."

Talia and Laura both nodded. After breakfast Talia took Caitlin back to her Aunt's house and made arrangements for her to spend the night during the upcoming full moon. The rest of summer went fast. Caitlin was able to gain control of her new powers pretty quickly. When Crystal, Caitlin's twin sister found out that her sister was now a werewolf she was only slightly surprised. Crystal learned how to make sure Caitlin didn't go out and hurt anyone during the full moon even if it meant chaining her up with a set of chains that Talia had sent to their house.

2005

Caitlin was now sixteen and in her first year at Central City University having skipped two grades. She was actually nearly done with her first year course work due to all the advanced placement classes she had in high school and taking some classes during the summer. The fall semester was nearly over and when classes started after the new year she would start her second year course work. She had just walked into her dorm's building when her cell phone rang. Being after ten at night she knew that it could only be one of a few people. Seeing the Beacon Hills area code she answered.

"Hello?"

"Cait? It's Laura Hale." Came Laura's voice breaking.

"Laura? What's wrong? Did something happen?"

"Something bad happened. Mom and everyone but Derek and me are gone. My family is dead."

"What? No not your mom and everyone. What happened?"

"There was a fire the house was burned down with everyone trapped inside."

"No one got out?"

"Well Uncle Peter did. But he is barely alive and closer to a crispy critter than wolf or human. Doctors don't know if he will make it."

"I'm so sorry Laura. Do you want me to come out there? I can be there in a couple days. My last final is tomorrow."

"No stay in Central City. Once I get things taken care of here Derek and I are going to head to New York City. My mom had some friends there. They will help us out."

"Laura, your mom was the Alpha. What happens now?"

"My mom appointed me as her successor. I am the Alpha now."

"That means you are my Alpha. You want me to stay where I am then I am not going anywhere. I will do as you say."

"I am still your friend. The three of us are all that is left of the Hale pack. I will see you in a few days."
