"Yeah, so I ended up fighting a giant three-headed dragon," I explained to Nahida and Dori, who were busy partaking in the delicacies that Dori ended up buying while in Galar, "It was pretty cool."
Dori's genie thing that she occasionally brought out of its magic bottle applauded my actions, making the genie a lot cooler in my eyes.
Dori wasn't ever interested in the stories about my battles, so she just shrugged it off as she browsed through her internet-less Rotom phone. Probably looking through something she managed to figure out how to save to look through later.
…Will Dori be trying to put the internet onto Teyvat? That's going to be fun to discover. No doubt she's going to make a ton of money off doing that.
Nahida, meanwhile, was completely enthralled by the stories of another world. I should probably bring her to Galar with me and buy her a phone as well. The god of wisdom lives on the internet, after all.
I came up with that just now. But I think that was a fire quote.
Nahida asked me, "Hm, Fuse, could you please take me to Galar? I'm very interested in seeing another world, just like Dori has…"
Oh, speak of the devil.
I nodded, "Yeah, sure, we should take Angeles too. Make it a whole thing. Dori, do you want to come along?"
Dori nodded, "Yeah, why not? I was going to sell all of this tomorrow after I sifted through what I wanted to keep and what I didn't want. I can definitely just delay that for a bit."
I smiled, "Great!"
Which is when I turned my attention to the 3 gacha tokens I have in my inventory from the other day. I could open them by myself and reap all of the rewards, but also, there are 3 people in this building I could give the tokens to.
And hey, it's not as though I would be missing out on anything guaranteed. I could get all junk from them.
I changed the topic as I mentioned, "By the way, I got three gacha tokens. You guys want one?"
Nahida nodded, "Sure, why not? I am interested in seeing how these work."
Dori frowned, "Eh, I'm not so sure about testing my great luck so far."
I cupped my mouth as I shouted at Dori, "No balls."
Dori raised an eyebrow, "What?"
"Coward," I elaborated without elaborating at all.
Dori scoffed, "Fine, hand one over. You're gonna give one to Angeles as well?"
"But then I wouldn't have any gacha tokens…" I dramatically fell deeper into the couch I was sitting on.
Dori shrugged, "Eh, who cares?"
"Yeah, you're right," I immediately recovered, shouting for the mech, "ANGELES! YOU HERE?!"
Angeles entered the room a few seconds later, "Yes, Fuse?"
"We're going on a vacation to another world, and doing some gambling right now. Wanna join?"
Angeles blinked, then she shrugged and went along with it, "Sure."
So, I handed out all of the gacha tokens, the three girls immediately opening them.
Angeles spoke first, "Rare item? Unlimited box of Oreos?"
Oof, looks like her luck wasn't that good. Got an unlimited box of something she can't use because she's a robot.
Nahida hummed, "Oh, I got an epic perk called Diligent Worker. Apparently, I'm not so easily distracted anymore… But I wasn't ever in the first place?"
Ah, so it's just her personality trait put into a perk. That was kind of unlucky, to have gotten basically nothing.
"Fuse, what's a divine skill?" Dori asked as she boredly looked at her own thing.
What the fuck.
"...Dori, please tell me you didn't just get a divine ranked skill, the highest tier there is," I slowly said, not believing her.
Dori hummed as she read through the skill description, then her eyes widened, "Wait, Portal Master?! I can create a portal to wherever I want, even other worlds I've been to?!"
WHAT THE FUCK?! IS DORI BANGING THE GOD OF LUCK ON THE SIDE OR SOMETHING?!
"Words cannot describe both my happiness for you, and my malice towards you for being so lucky," I said in shock, half joking half not, "Seriously, that's like… The best thing you could've gotten for someone like you."
Angeles clapped, "Well done, Dori."
Nahida also seemed fairly happy for her friend, "Yeah, I've heard about your luck, it's something else entirely to see it happen in person…"
Dori rubbed her hands as she scarily grinned at me, "Fuse, I'm about to become the richest person in every world! Now, I don't have to follow you around!"
Yes, that was something that was very possible now. Freedom to not have to follow me through worlds to ensure that she wasn't stranded.
But also, "Do you even have the mana to open a portal?"
Dori paused, "Uhh…"
So, naturally, she tried it, creating a portal from her room to Galar.
The portal existed for one second as she celebrated, "Of course I-caaan…?"
Dori immediately fell back down on her couch, falling unconscious.
I observed her status sheet, and it looks like she went unconscious because of mana exhaustion, something I told the other two people in the group about.
The portal also closed because its user went unconscious.
Nahida and Angeles looked at me, and I shrugged, "I guess we'll go when Dori wakes up, then. I'll hatch Hawaii in the meantime."
I patted the egg in my lap, making sure I had the intention to become a beast master.
New Class unlocked.

Okay so you guys have probably heard about how Fuse managed to take down the challenger Chris last night, right? And the internet has been going crazy on how the hell Fuse has some weird magical abilities (For example, the ability to grow wings, levitate guns, his domain expansion, Revolutionary Battlefield) and his Regieleki (Confirmed by Challenger Lily) but I have a good explanation for all of this!
But first, I need to lay some context.
I read fanfiction. A lot of fanfiction. But what I love most are power fantasy self-insert OCs.
Don't leave yet! It'll make a lot of sense when I get there!
Basically, the jist goes that in these fanfictions, there's an OC who gets a bunch of cool powers and gets to go to wherever he wants whenever he wants and gets a bunch of hot girls to form his harem.
Now, you might be thinking, "Does this guy seriously think we're in a fanfiction?"
The answer is yes.
For my first exhibit, allow me to show you one of these pics that were taken of Fuse when he was in Motostoke.

Fuse is obviously going shopping with a girl. Now, the girl is short but from her mannerisms it's easy to tell that she's legally an adult. Everyone likes a girl who is legally an adult.
Now, why do I think this means we're in a fanfiction? Well, just look at the girl's clothes.
You can kind of say that Fuse would look like a typical bandit, albeit it with a weird flag on his arm and his outfit being kind of military like. But Dori? She just looks weird and out of place. As though…
Dori comes from a different world.
Fuse as well.
Why else do you think they needed help from the gym leader of Motostoke to buy Rotom phones? Every kid under the age of 5 gets a phone, if not a Rotom phone. How could those two not have one, especially considering Dori seems to be business talented?
It's obvious, they don't come from this planet.
Fuse is obviously the main character as he seems to be more experienced than Dori is in being in new situations.
Also, Fuse has an official Pitter handle, and do you know what his name is there?

I just got a toothache, so I'm gonna have to stop here to go nurse it. But this is my theory on why Fuse is the way he is. He's a power fantasy protagonist who can jump between worlds and keep all his powers from all of the places he's been.

Hm, I think I can see where you're coming from. I think the thing that really ties it all together is the fact that Fuse actually calls himself the American. Everything else could just be "Oh his girlfriend is just wearing something she made" or "Maybe he found that Pokemon in the ruins" but American is just so unapologetically foreign that it has to mean something.

Because of the massive popularity of Chris's latest vlog where the challenger unwittingly exposed Fuse's magical capabilities, Leon had to be called to a press conference basically to just say "Don't worry we have it handled."
Unfortunately, the reality of the situation was that they didn't have it handled. One of their challengers was just brutally beaten in combat because of someone they didn't even know existed until today.
Kabu had called in to tell them all he knew. But all he knows is that they're foreigners who seemed to be rather unfamiliar with the technology of the modern times. Despite being able to speak fluently in the language.
Honestly, the internet has been more useful in determining the origins of Fuse.
Currently, the three most popular theories are that he's just a weird guy from somewhere from the Crown Tundra, which was built upon the assumption that Fuse knew Lily from before. Him being actually just a Pokemon in human disguise, which its supporters claimed made them most sense because only Pokemon can do magical stuff. And the weirdest of them all, the isekai idea, where Fuse is just an isekai protagonist who just so happened to land on their world.
Leon doesn't know which one is right, but he definitely knows that Fuse will be a headache if he's left unchecked.
Meaning, the next time Fuse appears, Leon will be there.
But first, he needs to get through this press conference alive.
