Sett gleefully points to Beethoven with his clawed foot, which is still bleeding from when he brutally ripped it from the restraining heavy metal shoe he was wearing. "You. You're something else. This is going to be SO much fun!" He says as his bandages begin to move and flutter like they're alive, slowly but surely turning purple and morphing into snakeheads at the tips.
"?!" Beethoven looks quite shocked to see the bandages moving around, but in mere moments he takes a step back, pointing his baton at Sett, his side turned, head leaned back in confidence, his free hand raised. "..." He simply leans his head back, remaining silent.
Sett gets a little disappointed grimace on his face. "Hm. Quiet prey. Not so fun." The god's face is seemingly IMMENSELY expressive as his smile is nearly ear to ear as it moves back into a full evil grin showing off his sharp teeth. "I guess I will force the fun sounds out of you then. Kyakaka!" He says opening his mouth, letting his creepily long tongue hang out as he licks his lips. He leans forward, still having his arms completely restrained by the straightjacket, but he digs his feet into the arena, his skinny legs bulging out before he blasts off towards Beethoven.
"..." Beethoven sways his baton with a small flick, sending a flurry of resonant notes towards the approaching god. METAL ORCHESTRA: CHORDOPHONE MODERATO! One. Two. Three. Four. Sett dodges them all with swift jolts side to side. He dodges the first three with ease, however, the fourth comes at him too fast for him to dodge and he prepares to be flung back, when suddenly one of the snakes shoots in front and grabs the note out of the air, slowing it down enough for Sett to move his head out of the way. "..." Beethoven sways his baton some more as the string instruments and pianos begin blasting away at Sett again, in wild flurries in tune with the beautiful melody he's playing. Sett's bandage-snakes keep bolting in front of him to intercept ones that come too close to hitting him.
"Kyaahaha! Just a little closeeeer!" Sett yells with a burst of manic laughter as he leaps in the air for another axe kick. Beethoven takes a step back raising his baton. The drums boom through the arena with a single INCREDIBLY loud slam as Sett misses his mark by a few feet, slamming his heel into the arena, and creating a solid dent in the floor perfectly sculpted for his foot. METAL ORCHESTRA: MEMBRANOPHONE SEMIBREVE! Beethoven winces and puts his free hand to his ear briefly, flicking his baton to send another pulse out from the drums to blow Sett away, however, this time something is off. He glances up seeing Sett's snake bandages all embedded themselves in the floor like hooks, keeping him in place.
The musician's eyes widen as Sett, with a big almost goofy-grin spins on his heel and throws an insanely powerful leaping straight kick. Beethoven BARELY manages to lean backward to narrowly dodge it as Sett bolts through the air, Beethoven raises a few fingers with his free hand and suddenly the only instrument he hadn't been using yet joins into his symphony. METAL ORCHESTRA: AEROPHONE MODERATO! The flutes and wood-wind instruments play as narrow metallic strings shoot from the plug-holes snaking under Beethoven's feet and they carry him away just in time for Sett to land into another spinning kick which barely misses. "KYaaaaaa! Get back heeeeeere!" Sett's bandage-snakes grab hold of the metallic wires and he pulls himself onto them but as soon as Beethoven sets foot on the other side of the arena, the wires vanish and the entire Metal Orchestra swiftly rolls around the edge of the arena to position itself behind him again while Sett falls, but some of the bandages around his feet form into the tail of a snake and brace his fall like a spring, and he blasts forward again, laughing happily as he tries another kick, Beethoven pulling back his arm gritting his teeth, and tensing up a little. That look in Sett's eyes. Beethoven would recognize that look anywhere! Passion? "!... ? …" Sett smiles brightly as his eyes shimmer and he swings his leg again, hitting a wall of drum beats. It's different from passion. Yeah…
"Fun?" Osiris asks.
Sobek grits his teeth grinding them a bit. "Yeah. Sett's having fun. Isn't that obvious? He's getting hit and hit and hit, but that smile isn't fading. Not one bit. It's honestly pissing me off a little."
Ra glances up at Sobek. "Pisses you off? Explain."
Sobek jumps a little as he looks at Ra leaning on his fist with his cheek. "It's just… it kind of creeps me out is all. Of all gods… of any BEING I've ever seen, Sett's the only one I've who fights so recklessly… Why him? That just pisses me right off!" He sees Sett constantly leaping straight at Beethoven, only for Beethoven to flick his wand and send the god flying despite of the best efforts of his bandages to keep him steady. "And even fighting so recklessly... he still wins with a damn smile on his creepy face!"
Osiris bows his head gently. "Please lord Sobek. Do not call him creepy."
Sobek crosses his arms and sighs. "Yeah. I know… sorry, kid."
Ra scoffs. "Enough. I would like to watch in silence now."
Sett sprints forward again, his eyes fully locked onto Beethoven's unchanging face. Beethoven shoots forward the drums once more to slow him down, adding in the violins, pianos, and trumpets as well, creating incredibly fast, note-bullets while keeping Sett at a distance. "GrrrrAAAAA!" Sett dodges and kicks, darting around like a wild animal, his bandages blocking a few shots, with some of the snake-heads warping into hard shield-like scales which deflect the shots coming in almost perfectly. VERSE OF THE TENTH: UNAUFHÖRLICH!
Pandora grips the railing. "Come on Beethoven! Please just… win!" She yells out, finding Icarus steps up next to her. "Icarus!? Where have you BEEN!? I went to see my dad and when I came back you were gone!" She says worriedly.
But to her surprise, Icarus doesn't even look at her. "Does it matter? I'm here now. I heard you've picked… a musician to fight in the fourth round?" He asks before glancing down at the arena. "So this is the fifth round? Who is this? He looks strong." He asks looking to Beethoven down in the arena.
"Fifth round?" She asks and Icarus glances down at her briefly, making Pandora get a brief flash of Ra's attitude from him.
"Yeah. We lost round 4 right? While I was gone?"
"N-no this IS round 4!"
Icarus pauses briefly. "Wait… so that guy who's keeping SETT, the monster of the Duat, at bay? And overwhelming him!? THAT'S the musician!?" He says gripping the edge of the arena.
"Yeah! Ludwig Van Beethoven! Why would you think we'd lose so fast?" She asks confused.
Icarus just shakes his head. "Whatever. But… HOW?! That weapon is INSANE!"
"Yeah. I was sure he'd get an amazing weapon like that!" Pandora asks as Sett is hit square in the face by a note but his bandages keep him upright by hardening behind him and he suddenly smirks happily as the notes shoot at him in another volley.
"MORE! Give me mooooooore!" Sett screams out as his bandages wrap around his legs and he leaps up at incredible speeds, and everyone's eyes widen as Sett manages to set his foot down on an incoming note, springing off of it, onto another, then another, dodging all the others in mid-air with the unnatural twisting his body is capable of.
Beethoven's eyes widen as Sett is suddenly coming in FAST! "!?" He quickly swaps his swaying style to go faster, and the flutes and woodwind instruments join in, shooting the metal wires forth toward Sett midair. "!" His conducting, however wild and changing still produces a musical symphony to rival all his others! However, the music falls on deaf ears, Sett as he expertly warps his body to dodge each and every wire. Sett springs off one of the wires, straight for Beethoven at such speeds he cannot fire a powerful enough drum beat off without hurting his ears. However with a single flick of his baton the grand piano blasts five notes straight at Sett from above.
Sett laughs. "SO SLOW!" He yells dodging them all with a twist, preparing his first real hit, on Beethoven this time.
However, he does not find it suspicious that Beethoven is not moving an inch! Suddenly one of the notes comes FLYING back even faster than before, striking Sett in the side and sending him flinging straight past Beethoven who merely tilts his head to dodge his foot, Sett crashing into the wall of the arena right beside the metal orchestra. "..." he grunts a bit before suddenly feeling blood dripping down his cheek. He pats it with his glove as he repositions while Sett is stuck under the rubble. The orchestra follows him around filling around 10 percent of the arena's edge. All Beethoven can see of Sett is a single snake-headed bandage sticking out of the pile of rocks. Its fangs are dripping blood from where it cut Beethoven's cheek.
In the audience, a rather chubby man with a large beard, and similar clothing to Beethoven, huffs, and puffs rather proudly. "Even in battle with a GOD, my boy is amazing! See that everyone!? I taught that boy!" This man is Beethoven's father Johann Van Beethoven. Other musicians join in.
"I trained him as well!" "He learned so much from me!" They declare and the nearby audience seems amazed and claps happily.
However, one man, another of Beethoven's music teachers does not look proud, rather, he looks incredibly worried. Christian Gottlob Neefe. He's a handsome young man with messy, wavy black hair and a rather casual dress style compared to the others. "Ludwig… Still searching huh?" He says with a melancholic smile.
Sobek looks pretty surprised down at the arena. "What!? How'd that note hit him!? They do not change direction! They are like arrows!"
Ra nods his head toward the arena where the metal wires from the flutes disappear. "Those wires. He was counting on Sett dodging or deflecting them. Each of them was pointed at a wire which would bounce it into Sett on the return."
Sobek nods. "Right! Thanks, man."
Osiris feels a chill as Sobek just called Ra 'man'. But to his surprise, Ra doesn't get mad or correct him. "I must say. That human is quite tricky to get a lock on. Especially for a warrior such as Sett, who fights with instincts rather than strategy."
Sobek this time chimes in shaking his head. "Sett does not fight PURELY on instinct. It's a combination of instinct…" He pauses as the pile of rubble nearly EXPLODES as Sett bursts forth, his eyes almost glowing red at this point, his smile as twisted as it can be, a smile to his ears, and his sharp teeth grinning devilishly to the point even Beethoven gets a slightly worried look on his face. "And BLOODLUST!"
"Human… humaaaaaan. You… Youuuuuuu!" Sett starts cackling again more loudly this time. "You're making this… the second-best fight I've ever had already!" He says as he starts trembling. "I want more! I want more! HUMAN! I want you! To make this…!" His bandages start warping and twisting further, growing into more snakeheads, scorpion tails and large deflective plates of purple scale-like armor all floating around him menacingly as Sett's blood-red eyes begin to lightly swirl with pure joy. "MY FAVORITE FIGHT! EVEEEEERRRRR!" He blasts forward again, the scales from his bandages pushing against the ground to make him faster, Beethoven taking a slight step back to point at Sett. "SHOW ME MORE! SHOW MEEEEE! WHAT YOU'RE MADE OOOOOOOF! KYAHAHAHAHA!" He declares as a barrage of notes flies at him, Sett oddly noting Beethoven's lack of expression on his face. "I'm going to make you show some emotion on that boring face of yours! It's going to be SO much fun!"
