This story is based off the mortal engines film. In short, the main subject is an oc (original city) and it is found over the ruins of London where a travelling historian (the perspective of the story) comes to have a look inside; guided by Roger, the leader of Spitfire. What if MEDUSA hadn't blown up London, and the ending of the first book had consequently turned out a different way…? Please read and review!

Hester and Tom's hormones are running high, but there's no diplomatic way of going about things when it's not right. This piece is based on a scene that took place in Philip Reeve's Infernal Devices, where Hester has to save her husband and daughter, Tom and Wren, from the slavers of the Shkin Corporation. As Hester begins her mission, she gains access of the Pepperpot by stabbing and killing a man outside before entering. But what if that man she killed didn't die so easily as she thought?

This is a short piece of work that takes place after the end of A Darkling Plain (Philip Reeve), in which the Stalker Shrike has a talk with a fictional character not originally from the Mortal Engines Quartet, whom claims to come from before the Sixty Minute War, despite his youthful and healthy appearance. There is no point to this short piece of work.
