My Hero Academia: Lion of Courage
Chapter 5: U.A.'s Hero Course

Takeo was now on his way to U.A. High School, where he'd start his first day in its Hero Course. He was dressed in the uniform that had been provided to him by the school ever since he was accepted into the Hero Course. He could barely contain his excitement for having been accepted into U.A., especially scoring 2nd place in the Entrance Exam.
"You scored 2nd place in the Entrance Exam!?" Chairo gasped after being informed by Takeo and Nakano. The Hyena Hero hugged Takeo with a huge smile on his face while Takeo returned the embrace. After several moments, they pulled away and then Chairo petted Takeo's head.
"I told you that you had nothing to worry about," Chairo assured. "Training and functionality are always far more important than flashiness. A lot of people tend to forget that these days. So don't feel the need to compare yourself to others."
"There's definitely one person I don't want to compare myself to," Takeo spoke. "I don't remember his name, but he had an explosion-based Quirk. That guy was a real jerk."
Takeo didn't bother to remember the boy's name nor did he want to. He was overly aggressive, selfish, arrogant and uncaring towards others. To tell someone that saving people was a waste of time went against everything Takeo believed in and it was just downright appalling to see such disregard.
"Don't jump to conclusions, Takeo," Nakano told her son. "You've only met him once, so don't be too quick to decide whether you think he's worthy of being a hero or not."
As much as Takeo valued his mother's advice, he couldn't bring himself to respect the crude and violent young man he met at the Entrance Exam. He couldn't see anything heroic in him, especially since he blatantly ignored helping the other examinees who were in danger. He just couldn't.
The bus he was on stopped, allowing several people on board. One of them was a student, easily identified by his U.A. School Uniform, the same one Takeo was wearing. Suddenly, Takeo recognized him…so he pulled out his notebook and looked up the Quirk 'Tail' and found Mashirao Ojiro right next to it.
"Ojiro!" Takeo called out to the Tail-Quirk user. When he heard his name called out, Ojiro looked over to Takeo and smiled. He walked over to him and sat next to the Arsenal-Quirk user.
"Did you get in?" Takeo asked.
"I did," Ojiro confirmed. "You?"
"Made it in," Takeo responded. "That means we'll be in the Hero Course together. Sweet!"
Ojiro smiled and nodded in agreement. Both of them had passed the U.A. Entrance Exam and managed to get into the Hero Course, beating hundreds of applicants. Both of them were very ecstatic that they made it into U.A., proving their skills as combatants.
"What place did you get if you don't mind me asking?" Takeo asked Ojiro.
"28th," Ojiro acknowledged with some shame in his voice. "I feel like I could've done better. Had it been any lower, I could've ended up in General Studies."
Takeo could understand Ojiro's point of view, but after receiving his mother's advice, it wouldn't have seemed all that bad. Students from General Studies would have a chance to prove themselves worthy of earning a spot in the Hero Course in events like the Sports Festival. He was certain that even if Ojiro did fail the Exam, he would've found a way into the Hero Course.
"What about you?" Ojiro asked Takeo. "What spot were you?"
"I was actually 2nd," Takeo informed, much to Ojiro's shock.
"You were 2nd place in the Entrance Exam!? That's amazing! Do you know who was 1st place?"
"Some guy named Katsuki Bakugo," Takeo informed.
Ojiro looked at him with a very confused expression. Did he not remember who Bakugo was? He was lost for words for a few moments before he decided to speak up.
"Raionhato…you do remember who Bakugo is?"
"Should I?" Takeo asked. Ojiro nodded his head.
"He's the one with the Explosion Quirk. The one who yelled at you after the Exam."
Takeo's eyes widened in shock. The violent and crude young man was the one who earned 1st place in the Entrance Exam? He got 1st place, despite being the only one in the Top Ten who had no rescue points? It made no sense to Takeo.
The bus stopped again and another student came on. This young man was a very muscular one with spiky brown hair and black colored eyes. He looked friendly enough as he smiled when placing his money to pay for his bus ticket. When he caught sight of Raionhato and Ojiro, they silently gestured for him to join them, which he did.
"You two in the Hero Course?" he asked.
"We are," Takeo answered. "I'm Raionhato. This is Ojiro."
"Pleasure," Ojiro greeted with a smile. "What's your name? Are you in the Hero Course as well?"
"The name's Sato and yes, I'm in the Hero Course," Sato answered. "I don't think I saw either of you in the Entrance Exam. Which centers were you in?"
Raionhato and Ojiro revealed they were both in the same center, Battle Center A, while Sato was in Battle Center D. He was 17th Place in the score charts, which guaranteed him a spot in the Hero Course.
"What's your Quirk?" Takeo asked curiously. "Looks like you have super strength based on how muscular you look."
"You could say that," Sato replied. "It's called Sugar Rush. When I ingest sugar, usually ten grams, I'm five times stronger for three minutes. Unfortunately, the more sugar I use, the…more tired and groggy I get."
"So there's an overdose-like weakness," Takeo stated. "But I have to say, that does sound like a pretty great Quirk."
"What about yours?" Sato asked the two of them.
Ojiro went first since he felt his Quirk, Tail, was boring compared to Raionhato's. He showed his tail, which he explained could function like a third arm, similar to a prehensile tail like a monkey. Not only that, but it was very strong as well, capable of easily destroying the robots during the Entrance Exam.
Raionhato then explained his, Inventory. He explained how his Quirk allowed him to make store items away, usually weapons, gadgets or items of interest. He considered it useful, thought not flashy, and proceeded to explain the downsides, such as his body hurting if he exceeds 40 lbs.
"Wow," Sato spoke. "Those seem like some great Quirks. Really good for combat."
"Thanks," Ojiro replied.
It wasn't long before the bus arrived at U.A.'s front entrance. The three young men got off the bus, which let them off on the sidewalk close to the school and they stood there for a moment.
Even now, the three of them were in some disbelief that they made it this far, Raionhato especially due to him being in 2nd place in the Entrance Exam. They had made it to U.A.'s Hero Course and they were still processing this information. The three of them just stood there like frozen statues for several moments until someone called to them.
"Raionhato! Ojiro!" Nagami's voice was heard calling out of them. The two of them turned their heads to the left, where they saw Nagami Kiyama slithering up to them, wearing the top part of the U.A. student uniform since her bottom half was a large snake tail. She slithered up to them with a bright and cheerful smile on her face, showing her snake-like fangs.
"Hey, Kiyama!" Takeo greeted.
"Did you make it into the Hero Course?" Ojiro asked. Nagami's smile grew wider.
"Sure did! I wasssssss 14th Placccccce! I hope we're all in the same classssssss together!"
Kiyama's smile died a bit when she saw Sato's scared reaction and walking back a few steps, which Raionhato and Ojiro didn't notice. She wasn't going to say anything about it since it was just the first day of U.A. High School.
"Well, what're we waiting for?" Raionhato asked. "Let's go!" The four of them entered U.A., Sato still keeping his distance from Kiyama.
Kaze Yonaka was one of the first to Class 1-B's Homeroom thanks to his Shadow Flash ability. He had scored 5th Place in the Entrance Exam and hoped that he wouldn't find Raionhato's name on there…and much to his dismay, he was 2nd Place, behind only Katsuki Bakugo. He made his way to his designated seat, Desk 17, and sat down.
He didn't bother to interact with anyone as they entered the classroom, instead reading a mystery suspense novel in a series that he was enjoying. Whenever someone greeted him, he'd give them a simple 'hello' and leave it at that, making it clear that he had no desire for conversation.
"Hang on a minute," a young man with silver-colored hair, a muscular build and what appeared to be jagged edges along his eyes. He walked over to Kaze and put his hands on his desk.
"I remember you. We were in the same Battle Center. You scored 5th Place in the Entrance Exam!"
"I did," Kaze responded as he turned the page of his novel. "I'm sorry, but I don't remember seeing you at the Battle Center I was at. Are you sure?"
"Yeah," the silver-haired person said. "I saw you teleporting around; you were somewhere one minute and then 'poof', you're somewhere else. Cool Quirk!"
As much as Kaze appreciated the comment, he knew that it wasn't his Quirk that helped him score that high; it was his martial prowess and weapons skills. If he had relied on his Quirk alone, he never would've passed the Exam.
"Oh. Name's Tetsutetsu by the way," he greeted. Kaze put his book down, having seen the name before somewhere.
"Tetsutetsu…I remember. You were 7th Place in the Entrance Exam. Now if you'll excuse me…" He returned to his book and continued reading, making it clear that he had no desire for further conversation. However, Tetsutetsu didn't pick up on it and continued talking.
"So what's your Quirk called? Wait, let me guess…Shadow Move…no. Dark Warp…Black Shadow…" Tetsutetsu's attempts to guess Kaze's Quirk started to irritate him, though his stone-clad face hid that irritation.
"If you must know, it's called Shadow Flash," Kaze answered. "I can teleport to places that I can see or been to."
"Tetsutetsu, please stop talking so loudly," a male voice from the front in Desk 7 asked. It belonged to a rather slender young man with messy brown hair, brown eyes, a very stoic expression and was sitting weirdly at his desk with his legs curled up to his chest.
"It's interrupting…" He started to snore, having fallen asleep. Everyone was surprised that he fell asleep so suddenly and was managing to do so in what seemed to be an uncomfortable position. One of the classmates, a young woman with blonde hair and horns on her head, walked over to him and shook his shoulder.
"Wake up," she insisted. "Class will-Whoa!" Out of nowhere, the young man grabbed her and put his head on her shoulder, using it as a pillow. Her face turned a bright red as she tried to break free of the sleeping man's grasp, but was surprisingly strong and tight.
"Hey, come on," a broad-shouldered student with light brown hair and brown eyes scolded Chikao. He touched Chikao's shoulder and his snoring suddenly muted, much to everyone's relief. Chikao woke up, releasing Kendo from his grasp when he heard he was no longer snoring.
"Thanks," the young woman told the young man. He smiled with a cocky smirk and walked over to her.
"You're welcome, hot stuff," he replied. "Name's Hinote Onkyo. Maybe you've heard of me. If not, you will, especially thanks to my Quirk."
"Your Quirk?" one of the other students asked curiously.
"Yep, I call it Acoustic Control," Onkyo replied. "I can control all sorts of sound in my vicinity. Like this." He held out his hand and in a few moments, all sound in the room was gone. The tapping of a pencil, the flipping of a page, the tapping of a cellphone keyboard...all of it was muted. After a few moments, he restored the sound in the room and smirked arrogantly.
"Can you please not do that again?" a redheaded young woman requested.
"Why not?" Onkyo responded. "How else was i supposed to show off my prodigious nature? Now..."
"Kendo," the redhead replied. "And no. I'm not going out with you." Onkyo let out an annoyed groan before going back to his seat at Desk 3.
More students entered and filled up the desks, some of which Kaze saw at the Orientation, others he was just seeing for the first time. To his surprise, he saw Yosetsu Awase enter the classroom and sit down at Desk 1.
"Hey, Yonaka," he greeted.
"Hey, Awase," Kaze replied before going back to his book.
Suddenly, he felt two elbows on his desk. Kaze looked up to see a very attractive girl with dark moss green hair, dusky green eyes and a huge smile on her face. She looked at Kaze and his book curiously as if silently asking what he's reading.
"Ooh, mystery suspense," she commented, looking at the name of the novel. "I recognize the series. Man, those stories are old, but they're pretty good."
"They've been a favorite of mine ever since I was a kid," Kaze replied before going back to his novel. The girl gently put her yellow-colored nails on the book and slowly pushed it onto the table so it didn't obscure his sight of her.
"Come on, talk to me," she insisted, holding her head up with her hands. Before Kaze could respond, loud snoring was heard from Chikao again, still in the same position from before. This time, he was woken up by Tetsutetsu, who shook his shoulder.
"Okay, okay, Tetsutetsu, I'm up," Chikao replied…without opening his eyes and Tetsutetsu hadn't said a word. Chikao opened his eyes and saw the surprised expression on the buff guy's face, much to his confusion.
"I knew you were going to wake me up the next time I fell asleep."
"Uh…okay," Tetsutetsu replied. "Are you a mind reader?"
Kaze paid no further attention to Chikao and Tetsutetsu and tried to get back to his book, but the green-haired girl wouldn't let him pick it up.
"What's your name?" she asked him.
"It's Kaze Yonaka," Kaze replied. "I don't remember seeing you at the Entrance Exam."
"Because I wasn't," she informed. "I got in on recommendation." Kaze raised an eyebrow, wondering what she meant.
Seeing his confusion, the green-haired girl explained that if people are viewed as exceptionally skilled and qualified or were requested by exceptional Pro Heroes, then students applying for the Hero Course could get in on recommendation. However, the odds were much more slim than the Entrance Exam; twenty applicants could get in on recommendation at a time, but only four would pass.
Kaze couldn't help but nod his head in approval towards the girl, who introduced herself as Setsuna Tokage. He couldn't deny that if she beat twenty applicants where the odds were very slim, she was very impressive…and very easy on the eyes.
"If you'll excuse me, I'd like to get back to my book," Kaze requested as he brought his book back up.
"Okay," Setsuna replied in a rather flirty tone and winked at him…which he didn't see.
"Okay, here we are," Takeo said as he, Ojiro, Sato and Kiyama approached the entrance to Class 1-A's Homeroom. Takeo was the first to reach for the door…and right after opening it, he was greeted by the sight of the same Explosion Quirk user from the Entrance Exam, Katsuki Bakugo.
Takeo was still in disbelief that this crude and violent young man scored 1st Place in the Entrance Exam; even though he had scored 77 Villain Points, he had absolutely no Rescue Points. He didn't wish to come across as arrogant, but due to him having both high Villain and Rescue Points, he felt 1st Place should've been his.
Just as Takeo was about to sit down, Ojiro stopped him.
"I think there's assigned seating," he brought up. "Did you get a number with your uniform?"
Takeo thought about it for a moment, trying to remember if he got a number along with his uniform. Then it hit him…9. He didn't understand the number at the time, but now that Ojiro brought it up, it seemed he was assigned to Desk 9.
"Yeah, I got Desk 9," Takeo responded. "But the desks don't look like they're labelled."
"9's right there," a calm voice spoke. At the back of the first row was a slender young man with purple hair, amber eyes, and a very charming smile on his face. His most distinguishing feature was his long, blackish-purple scorpion tail, which he used to point to the desk Takeo was assigned to.
"Thanks," Takeo replied as he put his backpack down and sat down. Ojiro sat down two seats ahead of him at the front of the row, Sato at the back and Nagami near the left back corner of the room. There was still plenty of time before class started, so Takeo decided to take out his notebook and start drawing sketches, either of the hero outfit he had requested or whatever else came to mind.
"Those are some pretty good drawings," a female voice complimented. "Is one of those your hero costume?"
"Uh, yes, it is," Takeo replied as he picked up the one that had the hero outfit. "It's rather…" As he looked up, he stopped as his face turned red at tbe sight of the beautiful girl he had the blessing of beholding.
Her black hair was tied in a large spiked ponytail while a large strand of it went off the right side of her face. Her beautiful dark eyes almost looked like beautiful, black gems, so beautiful that they could be sold for millions of yen. She had a welcoming and warm smile on her face, which only distracted Takeo further.
"Raionhato," Ojiro addressed by tapping his shoulder with his tail. "She's asking you something and you just blanked."
"Blanked?" Takeo asked. "I don't see how I blanked."
"I was asking you about your drawings," the dark-haired girl asked.
"Oh, those," Takeo remembered. He picked up the one that showed the hero costume he requested after being accepted into the Hero Course.
It first started with a brown-colored hema-style gambeson showing an emblem of a lion's face. Two plate shoulder guards and gauntlets occupied the arms with black leather gloves covering the hands. The gambeson reached just above the knees, which were guarded by knee-high steel boots. The final piece was a happuri mask shaped like a lion's face.
"Cool costume," Sato commented. "So why the lion theme?"
"Well...it's to honor my mother, the Razor Claw Hero: Lioness," Takeo answered.
"Lioness…I've heard of her," the raven-haired girl responded before her face lit up. "Oh, I'm sorry. It was rude of me not to introduce myself. I'm Momo Yaoyorozu. What's your name?"
"It's…Takeo Raionhato," Takeo replied reluctantly due to being amazed by how beautiful Yaoyorozu was. "It's…nice to meet you."
"You as well," Yaoyorozu responded. "It's nice to meet the son of another Pro Hero."
"Your parents are Pro Heroes too?" Takeo asked. He was genuinely surprised since a good number of students who attended U.A. weren't the children of Pro Heroes. Most of them came into U.A., not knowing entirely what to expect, so it was refreshing to meet someone else who was the child of Pro Heroes.
"Yes, the Yaoyorozu Hero Agency," Yaoyorozu explained. "We're one of the wealthiest hero agencies in the prefecture. I'm surprised you didn't hear of them."
Takeo couldn't tell whether she was intentionally being condescending or not, but it was leaning towards the latter since he felt like she wasn't trying to rub it in his face. However, he also felt that she had slapped him by saying she came from one of the wealthiest families in the prefecture.
"Thank you for letting me look," Yaoyorozu replied. "I can't wait to see it on you."
"Oh, uh…thanks," Takeo responded as the beautiful dark-haired girl walked away. As she did, Takeo caught sight of Nagami raising her eyebrows and gesturing at Yaoyorozu.
"Get your feet off that desk!" a voice told Bakugo, who had his feet on the desk. The young man addressing Bakugo was a tall, broadly built young man with dark blue hair, dark eyes and glasses. He carried himself with a dignified, yet strict, demeanor as he told Bakugo to get his feet off the desk.
"What, did your old school put a stick up your ass?" Bakugo taunted with an arrogant smirk. Takeo glared at Bakugo with a gaze as sharp as the tip of Lion Saber, filled with immense contempt.
"How did that violent, arrogant degenerate make his way into U.A.?" Takeo whispered.
"I really don't know, but from what I saw, he has a pretty strong Quirk," Ojiro told Takeo. The Inventory Quirk-user shook his head.
"His Quirk alone shouldn't have gotten him into the Hero Course. I hope I don't sound arrogant like that scum over there, but I'm proof of that."
Ojiro couldn't deny that since Takeo was only behind Bakugo in the Entrance Exam scores. As he said, his Quirk by itself wasn't flashy or strong, but Takeo's martial prowess and skills in weaponry earned him 2nd Place, along with his desire to look out for others.
As more people entered the room, Takeo recognized one of them as the bird-headed man with the Quirk, Dark Shadow. He was happy to see that he made it into the Hero Course…but he wasn't happy that he forgot his name. He knew he couldn't ask again since the Dark Shadow user had properly introduced himself after the Exam, so he'd have to find out another way.
He wondered how Satoshi was doing on his first day in the Support Course since he didn't run into him this morning, having gone to U.A. by a different route. Though Takeo still wished he had applied for the Hero Course, he understood Satoshi's reasons for choosing the Support Course instead and wished him the best.
"You there!" the dark-haired man with glasses addressed a short young man with dark green hair and green eyes who had just entered the room. The broadly built young man, who introduced himself as Tenya Iida, ran up to the boy, causing him to blush in embarrassment and get very nervous.
The green-haired boy, Izuku Midoriya, who had gotten 6th Place in the Entrance Exam, stood there nervously as Iida complimented him for 'seeing the deeper meaning of the Exam' when he rescued a girl from the giant robot.
Out of all the applicants, Midoriya was the only one to destroy the giant robot, even though they were worth no points. Luckily, since he had rescued a nice girl named Ochaco Uraraka, he had earned 60 Rescue Points. This allowed him to pass the Exam and be accepted into the Hero Course out of hundreds of applicants.
As Iida complimented Midoriya, the timid young boy caught sight of his old friend, Katsuki Bakugo. In his red eyes were an angry glare, one of suspicion and anger.
"What the hell did you do!?" Bakugo demanded to know after cornering Midoriya. "How the hell did a Quirkless reject like you get into U.A.!? Did you cheat your way in!? You had to! There's no way in hell you would've gotten in otherwise!"
As Midoriya expected, Bakugo was outraged that he got into U.A. For the longest time, Bakugo bragged about how he'd be the only student from their rather poor middle school to be accepted into U.A. He arrogantly believed that he was the only one worthy of being accepted into the prestigious school's Hero Course.
But with Midoriya being accepted as well, Bakugo's ego had been bruised. He wondered in shock and confusion how someone without a Quirk could've gotten into U.A.'s Hero Course. In his eyes, Midoriya, or Deku as he called him, was a worthless failure who had no right to be in U.A. High School.
"I was supposed to be the only one from this shitty school to get into U.A.! And now, all because of you-"
"STOP BLAMING ME, KACCHAN!" Midoriya barked angrily, shocking Bakugo. He then firmly grabbed Bakugo's arm to remove his hand from the collar of his shirt.
"Someone I look up to told me I can become a hero. For the first time ever, someone has finally believed in me. So I'm going to U.A., whether you like it or not!"
Midoriya felt a pain in his stomach, caused by Bakugo punching him rather viciously. He fell to the ground, holding his stomach and groaning in pain while Bakugo stood above, glaring viciously.
"You honestly think a Quirkless failure like you belongs in U.A.?" he questioned. "No. The Hero Course is only for people as prodigious as me, not failures like you. You understand, Deku!? You're worthless as a hero and you always will be!" He then grabbed Midoriya and slammed him into the wall.
"You're going to stay out of U.A….or I'll kill you."
"No!" Midoriya refused. "I will go to U.A., I will go to the Hero Course and I will become a hero!" Bakugo slammed him into the wall again.
"The privilege of going to U.A. is MINE and MINE ALONE!"
Midoriya refused to let all his training during the past 10 months be for nothing just because Kacchan couldn't handle a bruise to his ego. As he said, he arrived at U.A.'s Hero Course to become a Pro Hero just like his idol, All Might.
"I'd recognize that messy hair anywhere!" Uraraka called out from behind Midoriya. She then proceeded to compliment him for his deed of destroying the giant robot, thus saving her life.
Bakugo overheard some of what the two people near Deku said. They were saying that they were impressed by him…and he took out the giant robot…with ONE PUNCH!?
How was this possible? Deku was Quirkless. How could he have destroyed the robot when he had no powers? Bakugo wouldn't have been surprised if he had destroyed the giant robot since his power was incredible, but since it was worth no points, he felt it wasn't necessary…though he easily could've.
How did Deku get into U.A.? Bakugo refused to believe that Deku had gotten in legitimately and was determined to find out how he got in. Once he found out, he'd ruin Deku and make sure no school would ever accept him.
"You don't belong here, Deku," Bakugo whispered. "And once I find out how you got in, I'll expose you as the fraud you are and make sure you never become a hero. You don't deserve to be one, you Quirkless wannabe."
The talking suddenly stopped and everyone's attention turned to the door, where they saw a yellow sleeping bag and the face of a man with unkempt, long black hair, stubble and a tired expression on his face. Everyone was almost shocked and wondered if this man was their teacher…which he was.
"Welcome to U.A.'s Hero Course," he said in a monotone voice before sipping on some juice.
Raionhato joined in everyone's shock at the man potentially being their teacher. He was nothing like he expected, though he didn't really know what to expect from a U.A. Teacher. Perhaps he was very good at his job and was a very effective Pro Hero and teacher.
"It took eight seconds for you to all shut up," the teacher spoke as he got out of his sleeping bag. "That's not going to cut it here. Time is precious; rational students would understand that."
"Oh, geez," Bakugo groaned quietly. "This guy can't be our teacher."
"Watch your mouth," the teacher strictly demanded. "And take your feet off the desk." Bakugo could tell from the teacher's glare that he wasn't messing around nor would he tolerate his disrespect, so the Explosion Quirk-user rolled his eyes and put his feet down.
"Now before we start, if any of you are here just to make friends, pack up your stuff and leave," the teacher demanded. When no one did anything to imply leaving, they expected the teacher to smile a bit, but his worn out and tired expression remained the same.
"I'm your teacher, Shota Aizawa," he introduced, much to everyone's surprise. He then reached into his sleeping bag and pulled out a blue uniform with white stripes.
"Put these on and head outside," he directed.
"What!?" the whole class gasped once they were in the blue uniforms and outside with Aizawa. "A Quirk assessment test!?"
"But I thought that was the point of the Entrance Exam," Raionhato brought up. "To assess our Quirks, right?"
"Besssssidessssss, we'll missssss orientation," Nagami brought up. Aizawa turned around and looked back at the students with an apathetic scowl.
"If you want to be Pro Heroes, you can't waste your time with pointless ceremonies. Here at U.A., we don't do things traditionally. That means I get to run my class however I see fit."
Takeo now truly realized what his mother meant. She wasn't kidding when she said that U.A. Teachers were no joke and could expel anyone at the drop of a hat. If Takeo was to keep his place in the Hero Course, he'd have to impress Mr. Aizawa…or fail.
"Up until now, you've only taken traditional exams, but you've never been allowed to use your Quirks before. The country's still trying to pretend that we're all created equal and not letting those with 'superior' Quirks excel. So I want to see for myself how you use your Quirks." He then pulled out his phone and showed a chart with the students' names on it.
"Each of you will perform seven Quirk assessment tests and I'll judge your scores by my own personal standards. If you want to prove that you deserve to be in the Hero Course, now's the time. If I feel any of you are unfit or incapable of being here, you will be expelled."
The stakes were raised for all students. Aizawa wouldn't tell them how he'd judge them, so they'd have to do their best. If any of them failed to meet his standards, he'd expel them without hesitation. As he said, now was the time to prove they deserved to be here.
Author's Note: Thank you for your patience! Things are getting rough at the airport, but I'm looking into another job! Hopefully, I'll get to leave. Hope you enjoyed this chapter! As usual, keep reading and writing!
