As the four students returned to the monitor room, Takeo noticed Momo looking rather solemn and wondered what was wrong. He felt that she was the reason for their victory. Her superior strategy, her creative use of her Quirk to limit Yukine, her defenses for protecting the weapon, all of it was because of Yaoyorozu's great planning.
"Well, that was quite a match," All Might spoke. "Now, has someone identified who the MVP of this match was?" Iida raised his hand.
"I believe the MVP was Zankoku, sir," he responded. "Yukine was overconfident and believed that her initial attack would be enough to help them gain the upper hand, failing to take into account that her Quirk was limited in tight spaces and that the opposing team may have means to counter her Quirk due to Yaoyorozu's Creation."
Yukine couldn't help but feel stupid. She didn't know enough about either Takeo or Momo's Quirks to understand if they'd be able to counter her. She shook her head in embarrassment, having allowed her overconfidence to lead to her capture and cost her team the match. Her Quirk was strong, but as Iida pointed out, she didn't take into account that it was limited in tight spaces. It only showed how much she had left to learn.
"As for Yaoyorozu, while she did plan well ahead, she ultimately left herself vulnerable, which was proven when Zankoku entered the weapon room. She didn't have a plan to counter Zankoku's speed and agility and after her turrets were out of ammo, she had no ranged weapon to attack her opponent. Had Raionhato not intervened, Zankoku might've secured the weapon."
Yaoyorozu thought she had planned for everything, but without a solid grasp on Zankoku's abilities despite them both getting in on recommendation, she didn't know how to counter him. He was too fast and agile for her glue turrets and his arm stingers were sharp enough to cut through her nylon netting.
Instead of creating both a staff and a shield, it would've been more beneficial had she created one short range weapon and one long range. Had she created a long range weapon, she could've perhaps had captured Zankoku.
"Raionhato performed well in capturing Yukine and maintaining a good team ethic with Yaoyorozu," Iida continued. "However, he didn't contribute much to the defenses of the weapon and he accidentally walked onto one of Yaoyorozu's mines at the end. That showed a lack of conscious awareness."
Raionhato let out a deep sigh of embarrassment for having walked onto that mine. Iida was right: he had helped secure victory, but got caught up in it and didn't pay attention to his surroundings at that moment. If Zankoku hadn't been knocked out by Momo's mine, he could've continued the assault while Takeo was knocked back by the mine he himself triggered.
Regardless of the victory, it was stupid and foolish and he had to be more conscious of that.
"Zankoku was the MVP because he deduced what the enemy team planned and, unlike Yukine, did not allow himself to grow overconfident. His decision to ignore Raionhato would initially be seen as foolish, but he was on a time limit and since he couldn't penetrate his opponent's defense, he chose to prioritize securing the weapon. In the end, despite losing, Zankoku held himself well against Yaoyorozu's defenses and only lost because of Raionhato's intervention."
Zankoku smiled with self-satisfaction. Even though he lost, Iida pointed out everything on why he was the MVP. He was close to victory, close to securing the weapon had he managed to cut the nylon netting, but Raionhato's intervention stopped him.
However, Zankoku was now debating about whether he should've kept tackling Raionhato or not. On the one hand, had Zankoku managed to paralyze Raionhato, he would've had one less enemy to worry about, but it would've taken up precious time. On the other hand, the weapon was the main priority, but without taking Raionhato out first, he still had two enemies to worry about.
After the critiques were done, two new teams were sent out. Raionhato looked at Yaoyorozu and she looked pretty down. He walked over to her and put his hand on her shoulder.
"I think we did well," Raionhato told her. "Honestly, I think the reason we won was because of you."
"Huh?" Yaoyorozu asked with a rather confused expression.
"I mean, you came up with the strategy to beat them," Takeo brought up. "And that misdirection of yours worked. It gave me an opportunity to attack Zankoku. So, as far as I'm concerned, I think you're the MVP…in my opinion, at least."
Yaoyorozu smiled at Raionhato for his support as it reminded her of she said after the 1st match between Bakugo and Midoriya. If they didn't earnestly cheer each other on, they'd never be Pro Heroes.
"Not only that, you came up with a great array of defenses," Takeo continued. "If your defenses hadn't held up Zankoku until I got there, we could've lost. I'd say you're the MVP…what is an MVP?" Yaoyorozu giggled at a bit at Takeo not knowing what MVP meant. He had just gotten through bringing up the reasons why he considered her the MVP, only to not know what it meant.
"It's an acronym for Most Valuable Player," Yaoyorozu answered. "And…thank you. But remember, Raionhato, you helped just as much, so it'd be unfair of me to take all the credit."
"Thanks," Takeo replied. "Let's go watch the next match. Kiyama's up."
Takeo's words helped Momo. She felt that she hadn't done enough during the match, that she was certain Raionhato would be the MVP. To hear him say how much she had contributed through her strategy, defenses and teamwork helped her feel better and gain some confidence in herself, though some doubt still lingered.
Then she saw Zankoku nearby. She felt it best to congratulate him for being the MVP of the match.
"Zankoku," she greeted. When the scorpion tailed man looked at her, his expression soured a bit as his smile lowered.
"What?" he asked.
"I wanted to congratulate you for being the MVP of the match," she spoke. "I didn't expect you to be so strong." Zankoku's smile completely vanished.
"Yeah, I bet you were really surprised a street rat like me could do something other than begging and stealing." Yaoyorozu was taken back by his response, wondering what she did wrong.
"Zankoku, I didn't mean anything-"
"Save it," he interrupted sharply. "I came here to become a hero, not to be acknowledged by stuck-up rich folk like you." He then walked off, leaving Yaoyorozu confused and hurt. What did she do that made him react so rudely? He mentioned 'stuck-up rich folk' and 'street rats'…was it as simple as him hating her for her wealthy background?
Team K, Nagami Kiyama and Kumo Shiruku, were placed as the Heroes while Team F, Fumikage Tokoyami and Toru Hagakure, were the Villains for the next match.
"Sssssso, what'ssssss your Quirk?" Kiyama asked Shiruku, who was adjusting fur gauntlets on his arms.
"It's called Web," Shiruku informed. "My body converts dairy into webbing I can shoot from my hands."
"Like a sssssspider?" Kiyama asked curiously.
"A dairy-powered spider," Shiruku replied. "What about you? What can you do?"
"Anything a sssssnake can do," Kiyama responded with a smile.
The two of them now had around seven minutes to discuss and come up with a strategy. As far as they knew, Hagakure's Quirk was simply Invisibility, but they didn't know enough about her other abilities? Was she a skilled martial artist? Did she possess any form of close quarters combat? She'd have to since she got in through the Entrance Exam.
Tokoyami was going to be tricky. His Quirk, Dark Shadow, allowed him to summon a dark, bird-like beast to fight on his behalf. They didn't know the strengths or limitations of Tokoyami's Quirk, but they suspected a weakness: if Tokoyami lets Dark Shadow do all the fighting, does that he mean he has a harder time holding up on his own?
"I'd say we split up," Shiruku suggested. "I'll go up top, you start from the bottom. Hagakure may probably go on the offensive because of her invisibility. Tokoyami…I'm not sure about him, but I'm guessing he may be on the defensive."
"Sssssoundsssss good for me," Nagami agreed.
"Thanks," Shiruku responded. "Maybe if I win, Yaoyorozu will go out with me. I mean, have you seen that girl? Hottie!"
Kiyama shook her head in annoyance. No doubt, he'd be one of the guys who'd try to hit up all the girls in their class…except her. He hadn't made one attempt to flirt with her, but she expected it, considering her self-acknowledged scary appearance. She was part-human part-snake, after all.
Then again, she smirked after seeing the way Yaoyorozu and Raionhato had worked well during their match together. She could easily see that her new friend was already developing feelings for the beautiful Momo Yaoyorozu. She felt that maybe she could help push them together if possible.
"Or maybe Ashido," Shiruku went on. "She's got a smoking hot body…yeah, either Ashido or Yaoyorozu."
"Are we going to discussssss the sssssstrategy or do I have to lisssssten to you talk about girlsssss who may not be interessssted in you?" Kiyama asked.
"Well, I'm certainly interested in them," Shiruku grinned. "I mean, who could resist someone as charming as me?"
"I think Yaoyorozzzzzu did that when you hit on her earlier," Nagami brought up before thinking of how she may already be interested in Raionhato, who she thought was much more charming than Kumo Shiruku.
Despite Nagami being annoyed with Shiruku's infatuation with Class 1-A's pretty girls, they agreed to a strategy to defeat Tokoyami and Hagakure. Nagami Kiyama would go in the front since Shiruku deduced that Hagakure would go on the offensive and take her out. Shiruku would use his Webs to get onto one of the higher floors and then make his way to the weapons room, where he assumed Tokoyami would be the defensive player.
When it was time, All Might gave the green light by announcing 'BEGIN!' Shiruku walked up to the wall and then pressed his hands against it to put some web on. He then began to climb by constantly secreting web from his hands every time he moved up while Nagami went in through the front door, keeping her eyes open for Hagakure or Tokoyami.
Shiruku made it to the fourth floor, where he stayed quiet as he looked around for the weapon. He didn't have time to check every room within 15 minutes, so he felt the best strategy to keep an eye out for Tokoyami's Quirk, Dark Shadow. Shiruku didn't know how strong Dark Shadow was, so it was in his best interest to avoid a direct confrontation with him.
He moved quickly, but quietly as he skimmed the rooms looking for the weapon. He couldn't use his webs so early because as he stated, the amount of webbing he had depended on how much dairy he had in his body. He had consumed quite a good amount, but he couldn't afford to be wasteful with it; he'd have to save it until he had found the weapon or was forced to evade Dark Shadow.
"Hey, Kiyama," Shiruku contacted over their comms. "What's your status?"
"Sssssstill looking for Hagakure or Tokoyami," Nagami replied. "I don't sssssee…wait a minute. Where are you?"
"Fourth floor," Shiruku confirmed. "Why?"
"I can ssssensssse where Tokoyami and Hagakure are. One of them is on the third floor directly beneath you. The other issssss approaching sssssslowly. I'll contact you sssssoon."
Kiyama then broke off communication with Shiruku as she moved to hide in the shadows. Hagakure had no idea what she was walking into. To the naked eye, Hagakure would indeed be completely invisible, but one of Kiyama's snake abilities allowed her to counter Hagakure's Quirk.
She waited patiently for Hagakure to get close before she'd reveal herself. As Shiruku said, they didn't know about her other abilities, such as martial arts, intelligence, or other combat skills. She couldn't afford to be overconfident like Bakugo and Yukine were during their matches.
Finally, she sensed Hagakure coming closer and closer to her position. She had discarded her hero outfit to be completely invisible as she was unable to make her clothing disappear. Kiyama then slowly climbed up the wall of the hallway and waited in total silence for Hagakure to get near.
Just when she sensed Hagakure, Kiyama struck out from the shadows and wrapped her snake-like tail around her. The invisible girl gave out a frightful shriek and tried to break free, but Kiyama was too strong and bound her with the capture tape.
"How did you see me!?" Hagakure gasped after she was captured.
"Sssssimple…thermal visssssion," Kiyama explained. "I don't sssssee like a normal perssssson. I ssssssee heat sssssignaturesssss…" She shook her head again and stopped. She hated that stupid lisp of hers where she always hisses all the S's in her sentences.
After making sure Hagakure was secured, she started making her way to the 3rd floor where she and Shiruku would take down Tokoyami and Dark Shadow.
After Shiruku was informed of Hagakure's capture by Kiyama, he started to approach the room where Tokoyami and Dark Shadow were. He thought of using his web to stick to the ceiling and enter undetected, but the doorway was too low: Tokoyami would see him coming inside. It'd be better if he waited for Kiyama since they were certain to have plenty of time left.
"Hagakure," he heard Tokoyami contact. "Hagakure, are you okay?" He didn't receive a response, so Tokoyami knew that she had been captured. He was on his own against Shiruku and Kiyama.
Shiruku used his web to climb onto the wall and carefully look inside the room where the last villain was. Tokoyami was looking at the doorway, waiting for his opponents to arrive while he had Dark Shadow wrap himself around the weapon twice and then prepare face the door with him.
"He'll use Dark Shadow to keep the weapon secure," Shiruku whispered. "Smart. Maybe if I beat him, some of the girls will just beg to go out with me. I mean, really, Ashido or Yaoyorozu…one of those two-"
"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami called out. Shiruku saw the shadow bird beast charged towards him. Moving quickly, he entered the room and shot a string of web at one of the pillars to pull himself to safety.
"Grab him, Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami commanded.
"Got it!" Dark Shadow replied as he kept going for Shiruku.
Kumo Shiruku started using his web to get around the room and dodge Dark Shadow, who was easily able to keep up with him. Shiruku couldn't keep this up for too long as he was afraid he could run out of web, then he'd be a sitting duck for Tokoyami. His best bet would be to lose Dark Shadow, so he kept up the chase for a good while until he turned around a pillar and Dark Shadow lost sight of him.
"What the-?" he gasped. "Where'd he go?"
"Keep the weapon secure," Tokoyami commanded. "Find him." Dark Shadow looked around, but couldn't find any trace of their foe. That was until they heard light thumps above them. The two of them looked up and saw that Shiruku had used his Web to grapple to the ceiling.
"Crap," he whispered. He then jumped for the weapon, but Dark Shadow moved it and then grabbed Shiruku before he could grapple to another pillar.
"Yeesh, you're a pain in the ass," Dark Shadow groaned.
"Quick, Dark Shadow, bring him here," Tokoyami instructed. He pulled out the capture tape and prepared to bind him.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Shiruku pleaded.
"What?" Tokoyami asked, still preparing the capture tape.
"Uh…do you have a crush?" Shiruku asked, much to Tokoyami's confusion.
"A…a what? A crush?"
"Yeah," Shiruku confirmed. "Come on; Class 1-A is full of beauties, don't you think? Yaoyorozu, Ashido, Uraraka, maybe Hagakure because I can't see her-"
Tokoyami didn't bother listening as he suspected Kiyama was close. He had Dark Shadow pull him closer and then bind his hands and feet with the capture tape. Once he was secure, Tokoyami had Shiruku placed in the corner so he'd be out of the way.
"Well, it was worth a shot," Shiruku groaned. It was all up to Kiyama to secure the weapon and score victory for their team.
Kiyama saw from a good distance that Tokoyami had subdued her teammate. It was now a 1v1 and they probably had around four minutes left before the match was over. Luckily, she was already coming up with a plan of her own.
As she approached the room where Tokoyami was, her thermal vision gave her a picture of where he was. Unfortunately, she couldn't detect Dark Shadow, most likely because he wasn't giving off heat. She'd have to enter the room and then deactivate her thermal vision to combat both of them.
"Okay," she whispered. She then slithered away a few meters and then slammed her powerful tail on the ground.
"What was that?" Dark Shadow gasped.
"Go look, but don't go too far," Tokoyami instructed. "It might be Kiyama."
Nagami quickly slithered up the wall and then quietly made her way to the door as Dark Shadow went in the direction that she had made the noise. Fortunately, Dark Shadow didn't detect her as she quietly made her way to the door.
"There you are!" Dark Shadow shouted. Kiyama looked back to see him coming straight towards her. She detached herself from the wall and used her tail to smack Dark Shadow away. With some distance created, she slithered into the room and came face to face with Tokoyami.
Before he could shout for Dark Shadow, Kiyama spit in his face, which felt slightly acidic. He wiped the spit from his eyes, but to his shock, when he opened his eyes, he saw nothing but black and little spots. Her spit had rendered him blind.
"Dark Shadow, quick!" he shouted. "Stop her!"
"I don't think ssssso," Kiyama gloated as she wrapped herself around the weapon and used her strength to pry Dark Shadow's body off.
"HEROES WIN!" All Might announced after Kiyama secured the weapon.
She cheered in victory as she pulled away from the fake warhead and went to check on her teammate. With the exercise over, she prepared to free him from the binding tape.
"That was great!" Shiruku complimented.
"Thankssss," Kiyama replied before turning to face Tokoyami.
"Don't worry; the blindnessss isssss only temporary. It sssssshould wear off in a few minutessss."
"That was a great play, Kiyama," Tokoyami complimented. "I clearly need improvement."
"Oh, don't beat yourssssself up," Kiyama replied. "We're ssssstudentsssss, remember? We're learning."
"Yeah," Shiruku confirmed. "I mean, I'm learning new ways to woo the ladies, if you know what I mean. You think Yaoyorozu or Ashido saw me?" Kiyama and Tokoyami left the room, leaving Shiruku bound by the tape.
"Uh, guys?" he called. "I'm still tied up. Guys?"
The robots eventually freed Shiruku from his binds and Tokoyami's sight returned to normal just as Kiyama said. When the four students returned to the monitoring room, All Might once again asked who was the MVP and why. As expected, Yaoyorozu raised her hand.
"It was Kiyama, sir," she answered, making Kiyama smile like a fangirl.
"Kiyama was quick in taking down both Hagakure and Tokoyami, displaying quick instincts, quick thinking and great martial talent." Raionhato, Ojiro and Sato held up their fists to fist bump with Kiyama, who happily returned the gesture. She fist bumped Takeo first, but unaware of her strength, his hand glowed red with pain and he waved it around. Out of respect for their friend, Ojiro and Sato both reluctantly held their fists up, but Kiyama simply gave a light tap to avoid hurting them.
"Ssssssorry," she apologized to Takeo.
"It's fine," he groaned.
Yaoyorozu continued her critiques. While Tokoyami's idea to have Dark Shadow secure the weapon was well thought out, he made the mistake of having Dark Shadow go too far. When Kiyama hit Dark Shadow with her powerful tail and then blinded Tokoyami, it was all over for him.
She was especially hard on Shiruku. While he was smart and deduced their plan, he also let his guard down when he started thinking about impressing Class 1-A's female students. This unfortunately gave away his position to Tokoyami. He was great at staying a bit ahead of Dark Shadow and even displayed cunning by grappling to the ceiling to throw off his pursuer. Unfortunately, the noise he made gave him away yet again and was captured as a result.
"I do not understand why you were asking me if I had a crush on any of our female classmates," Tokoyami asked with confusion.
"I was trying to distract you, hoping Kiyama would arrive and attack you while I had you occupied," Shiruku responded.
"Looks more like you annoyed him rather than distracted him," a girl with short dark purple hair, earphone-like lobes on her ears and a costume resembling a rock band member commented. "Okay, Kiyama, tell the truth: is he insufferable?"
"When he goessss on about 'impresssing girlssss', then yesssss," she hissed. "He'ssss rather charming…when he ssssshutssss up for oncccce."
"You heard the lady," Raionhato spoke to Shiruku. "Shut up and girls will like you more." Sato and Kiyama covered their faces to cover their laughs at Raionhato's comment. Kiyama caught sight of Yaoyorozu trying not to laugh, but quickly recollected herself to finish her critique.
Yaoyorozu really didn't have much criticism for Hagakure. Her plan was good and was right to go on the offensive due to her Quirk, but Kiyama's thermal vision made them a bad match-up.
After the matches were concluded, All Might and several other teachers were called to the conference room by Nezu, the Principal of U.A. High School. Along with them were Eraser Head, Open Palm, Cementoss, Ectoplasm, and two more.
One was a towering anthropomorphic Alligator Snapping Turtle with a spiked shell, thick dark green skin, dark eyes, claws and a thick tail. He was Wanigame Kompira, also known by his Pro Hero name, Razor Shell, U.A.'s Gym Class Teacher. The other was a middle aged man with combed back golden blond hair, a beard and brown eyes. He was Haruki Kataiya a.k.a. Sunstorm, U.A.'s Science Teacher.
"Eraser Head, I'm sure you've been informed of what happened during the Combat Training today," Nezu asked.
"I have," he confirmed.
"What happened?" Sunstorm asked.
All Might volunteered to explain. He informed them of the first match between the Class 1A students, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo. He pulled out a computer and then showed the footage, though Open Palm could only listen because of his blindness, but he could assume that by everyone's reaction, it looked pretty shocking.
"This is an outrage!" Sunstorm barked. "What was Bakugo thinking when he unleashed that attack?!"
"Did he hear you when you told him to stop?" Eraser Head asked All Might.
"He did," All Might confirmed. "But…he wouldn't listen."
"So he knew his attack could've killed Midoriya and he ignored you?" Sunstorm questioned. "I knew letting him into our school was a bad idea."
"Hey, come on, don't be so quick to pass judgment," Open Palm suggested. "I'm not saying what Bakugo did was right, but we don't know what he was thinking. Besides, no offense, Toshinori, but if it really was getting that violent, you should've stopped the match."
"I have to agree with Open Palm," Ectoplasm responded. "All Might, why didn't you stop the match after Bakugo unleashed that attack on Midoriya?"
"I felt that I should've," All Might admitted. "But I also felt it would've robbed the students involved of the means to improve themselves, so I decided to let the match continue."
Ectoplasm, Eraser Head and Sunstorm expressed disappointment in All Might's decision not to stop the match when Bakugo unleashed that attack. Soon after, Midoriya unleashed a powerful attack of his own that was dangerously close to severely harming not only Bakugo, but Iida and Uraraka as well. Open Palm sensed their disappointment and decided to speak up.
"Now let's not condemn All Might," he insisted. "The students involved are alive and Midoriya is being healed by Recovery Girl. It could've turned out worse."
"But it raises a red flag," Razor Shell brought up. "Bakugo knew that attack could've killed Midoriya and went through with it, even though All Might warned him against it. That shows a lack of responsibility and obedience and I feel we should be concerned."
"We've dealt with arrogant and violent students before," Open Palm brought up. "It's only the second day. We should give Bakugo and Midoriya a chance to explain themselves before we pass judgment."
"What needs to be explained?" Sunstorm questioned. "Bakugo knew-"
"And Midoriya did the same thing," Eraser Head brought up. "Both of them could've killed each other. Both of them endangered the lives of their teammates. Bakugo's blast could've caused the building to become unstable and collapse. Midoriya's attack could've blown Iida and Uraraka apart if they had been caught in it. The point is, we cannot condemn one without condemning the other."
Eraser Head's words almost immediately put the entire argument to rest. Both Bakugo and Midoriya were very reckless in their actions and attacks, endangering themselves and their teammates. It would be unjust if one of them was expelled and the other was allowed to stay.
"I've spoken to both of them," Eraser Head brought up. "Bakugo needs to learn to control his temper; his failure to do so makes him violent, reckless and unpredictable. As for Midoriya, he keeps using his Quirk in a way that cripples himself. If he cannot learn to use it effectively, he'll be nothing more than a liability to everyone."
"Then let's hope they listen," Open Palm suggested.
"If they're willing to, but it's Bakugo I'm more worried about," Sunstorm brought up.
"He does have a point," Razor Shell acknowledged. "We saw his records from middle school and that alone raised a lot of red flags."
After Nezu heard about Bakugo from the previous day and considering his behavior during the Entrance Exam, he took the liberty of looking over his record from middle school and couldn't deny that it raised several red flags about the Explosion Quirk user.
Threats of violence, bullying, starting fights, even some minor destruction of property…Bakugo had done many questionable things in middle school, but what bothered some of the teachers was the lack of accountability from the school's leadership. Not once was he suspended, put in detention, written up…nothing was done to address Bakugo's poor behavior. He was basically allowed to do whatever he wanted and the school never held him accountable for it.
"Bakugo has come to U.A., thinking he can act the way he did in middle school," Sunstorm brought up. "And if we don't hold him accountable-"
"He WILL be held accountable," Open Palm interrupted. "He will quickly learn that he cannot act here the way he did in middle school, that is if he wants to stay. And I don't think Bakugo is stupid enough to throw away his chance of being here at U.A., not when he's already worked so hard to get in."
"But what if he won't listen?" Razor Shell asked. "Bakugo proved how stubborn and insubordinate he is during the Combat Training."
"And it will be addressed," Eraser Head assured. "I will speak to Midoriya and Bakugo after class today about this. If they want to stay here, I'll make sure they shape up."
Though Sunstorm, Razor Shell and Ectoplasm weren't convinced, it was ultimately decided by Nezu that no action would be taken against Midoriya or Bakugo unless Eraser Head said otherwise. If they failed to listen to his criticism, if they failed to improve where they needed to, then Eraser Head would do what is necessary.
"Y-you okay?" Sunhealer asked Midoriya after he woke up. He groaned and found his right arm in a sling.
"You overdid it," Recovery Girl informed Midoriya. "You're lucky you can still use your arm after that attack."
Midoriya then thought back to what happened. During his match with Bakugo, things quickly got violent and heated between the two of them. The Explosion Quirk user was outraged that Midoriya did indeed possess a Quirk and a strong one at that and constantly tried to get him to use it on him.
Unfortunately, Midoriya couldn't use it without hurting himself, so he tried to avoid using it. When Bakugo finally had enough, he unleashed a monster blast on Midoriya that could've killed him and cause the building to collapse.
After that, Bakugo was downright ruthless. He beat up Midoriya badly while screaming that he was nothing but a lowly insect under his boot, that he had no right to even try and compete with him.
"YOU ARE BENEATH ME!" Bakugo's words flooded to his memory like a river.
"You will NEVER be better than me!"
"Face me, you WORTHLESS SHITTY COWARD!"
"He'll be fine as long he dodges!"
"Mr. Aizawa will want to see you and Bakugo after school today," Recovery Girl informed.
Midoriya quickly felt sick to his stomach. He suspected one major reason why Aizawa wanted to see him: expulsion. He had once again crippled himself by overusing his Quirk and unleashed a rather powerful attack that most likely endangered his classmates in the exercise.
"It must've been quite a fight to mess your arm like that," Sunhealer brought up. "Recovery Girl's right; you need to stop using your Quirk in a way that's so…self-destructive." She then shied a bit away from Midoriya and whispered 'Sorry.' Recovery Girl walked up to Himari Kataiya and patted her back.
"You don't need to apologize, dear," she assured her apprentice. "Can you go and check for any more injury reports?"
"Yes, ma'am," she complied as she exited the infirmary and made her way to the office. Himari went onto the computer, logged in and checked for any more injury reports. Three students from Class 1-A needed first aid: Mashirao Ojiro for frostbite on his feet, Yuga Aoyama for severe stomach pains and Rikido Sato for a torn muscle.
After what happened to Midoriya, she was almost fearful that another student who appear in critical condition like he did. Luckily, all the ailments needed simple healing and they'd be fine. She sighed in relief until she looked outside and saw the sun slowly starting to go down.
"Oh, no," she gasped. "I need to hurry."
