"Holy crutack, Shocket honey. Why aren't you wearing jammies or clothes." Shocket heard Howard say.
"I was like this in the fortress and nobody gave a stink. Says the guy who doesn't wear pants." Shocket rebutted making Darcy smirk. It was morning and Darcy and Howard were surprised seeing Shocket enter in her birthday fur which was intrestibg hearing Linda squeal in delight at this making Shocket smirk. She knew that back in the fortress, Shocket did walk around like this which always made her smile like right now, sensing her parents didn't share her feeling as Shocket hugged her making her grin wide.
"This is adorable only Shocket before you have breakfast, you should wear a dressing gown or something." Darcy gently hinted making Shocket frowning at this because nobody even Tivon made a stink when she was like this not getting why Darcy and Howard were making a stink asshe was covered in fur, like how Linda and Howard were covered in feathers but she wanted to make Linda happy. "Linda, do you want me to get dressed or be in my birthday fur." Shocket said to her.
"Mayve just an oodie as that'll cover some of you up, to make my parents happy." Linda said.
"Fine I'll put pants on. Terran# are so judgey." Shocket muttered entering her and Linda's room.
Linda smirked, seeing said female raccoon wearing a hooded top with underwear which made her tail comfortable relieving Darcy and Howard she'd listened noticing she looked tired making Linda understand as it'd been one of those nights where Shocket hadn't slept only she decided not to relay this to her parents, until Shocket said it was okay makin* her strong coffee which Darcy noticed along with Shocket's eye twitch.
"You're hitting the coffee hard sweetie. Everything okay." Darcy told her.
"I'm good Ms Duck. Uncle Howard drinks buttloads of coffee and you don't ask." Shocket said.
Linda saw the female-raccoon pass out catching her, taking herto their room, tucking her in under the bed kissing her furry head putting Helen near her seeing Shocket rest her paw on Helen relaxing relieving Linda leaving their room and joining her parents telling them Shocket was sleeping as she hadn't slept making Darcy get it.
"That's why she was so rough there when Howard and me reacted to her, walking around in her birthday fur." Darcy said.
"Yes my beloved Shocket has been through a lot, since we were in Tivon's fortress. He was more intrested in her than mewhich was okay but I gave Shocket love, something Tivon wouldn't give her." Linda told them deciding to stop there and let Shocket tell them when she was ready, telling her mom not to badger Shocket about it which Howard got nodding sensing Shocket had sleep issues making Linda nod.
So, how's things going there, you old Quacker. How's Shocket.
"Shocket honey, a bath won't kill you, like a hug." Howard heard Darcy yell. "There's your answer but maybe you can calm her. Shocket come here okay." Howard repkied to him. Shocket came over to where the tablet was, making her eyes widen knowing who it was. "Daddy…" Shocket said softly.
Uhhuh it's me, now what's this about not wanting to take a bath. They're very relaxibf and from what uncle Howard told me, you could use it. I know you are still adjusting to things but how about we meet sometime, would you like that.
"Yes please daddy. I have a lot to talk to you about." Shocket told him.
"Okay you heard your dad. Get in the tub." Howard told her.
She then did so, but Howard and Rocket heard a splash and Darcy yelling, seeing Shocket had did a cannonball into the tub getting water over the floor and Shocket swimming amusing Linda as it reminded her of her swimming in the tub when she was little which Shocket found adorable making her nervous seeing Darcy about to touch her mohawk which Linda got.
