"So, you talked to your pops while he and my dad were on video chat. How're you feeling about meeting him in person. You probably have a long list of questions for him." Shocket heard Linda asking.
They were sleeping underneath their bed later that night and Linda and Shocket were lying together but talking about their day including Shocket getting to talk to her dad on videochat but had arranged to meet him in person seeing Shocket nod. "Yeah I do have questions and wrote them down since we were in the fortress." Shocket said yawning. But in the middle of the night, Linda felt her tummy hurt badly not knowing why leaving to tell her parents.
Shocket was concerned waking up the next mornibg not seeing Linda by her side leaving the room after getting dressed remembering yesterday morning so entered the kitchen making Howard get it seeing Linda get it hugging Shocket reassuring her that she was okay. "I just had my first … time of month." Linda said making Shocket stunned at this seeing Darcy enter realising Shocket had just found out, what was happening with Linda making Shocket nod.
"That's great news Linda, and bet your parents are happy as that means you're growing up." she said.
"We are Shocket and helping Linda understand what's happening. Being a magical kid and being away, we never got to have a talk about this stuff." Darcy said making Howard nod saying they were proud of their lil birdie making Linda blush at their nickname for her. "Maybe one day I'll have that moment and my dad will be proud of me like you guys are with Linda." Shocket told them.
That surprised them by her comment and Linda knew this would happen, eating pancakes with Nutella on them, as chocolate helped in these situations making Shocket curious noticing Linda was off which bothered her deciding to stay out of Linda's feathers to work on her list of questions she was planning to ask Rocket when she met him in a few days which Darcy and Howard felt a good idea as Shocket was calm holding a lilac marker
"Is Shocket mad at me, you know…" Howard heard Linda ask feeling her comm beep.
"No she's not, She's just giving you space because you're notyourself at the moment. Your mom gets like that too every month. Shocket's working on that list." Howard told her relieving her.
"That's good and she'sbeen working on that since we lived in the fortress. It's Birdie time." Linda said leaving.
"Birdie time… what's that…" Shocket mumbled
"Never mind kiddo." Howard said.
