"So, are you okay Linda, where did you go. I wasn't mad at you but giving you space since you were moody but it's okay." Shocket told Linda. It was later that day and Linda was back from doing hero stuff which Darcy and Howard knew about only Shocket didn't seeing the female duckling nod getting that.
"Thank you Shocket for understanding. I was doing hero stuff alright." Linda told her hugging her.
They were hanging out and having coffee, while Darcy and Howard were out plus Linda saw Shocket was focusing on another list, the daddy-daughter one which she'd recently started after seeing her dad on videochat plus she was humming Lunch by Billie Ellish smiling ear to ear looking at Linda making the female duckling smirk, as it was adorable but she kinda hoped that Shocket was having her first time of the month so they could do it together knowing it would be a proud and special moment for Rocket like how it'd been for her parents.
"I'm sure it'll happen and if it does, I have you." Shocket said smirking. What they didn't know was that Darcy and Howard were helping Rocket prepare as he'd bought a house in Brooklyn for him and Shocket but they'd reveal to Shocket when it was right. "How're you feeling, Linda you know." Shocket told her.
"I'm okay but you wanna snuggle. That might help." Linda said
Shocket loved the sound of this, as they wrapped a blanket around themselves on the couch watching TV, but falling asleep just as Darcy and Howard came home exchanging a smile but would tell Shocket later. "We should let them be Howard, as they ,love snuggling." Darcy told Howard seeing him nod.
"Whoa, my dad has a house in Brooklyn now, that's amazing. I still wanna live with you guys, if that's okay." Shocket said.
"That's fine kiddo, you and your dad can figure this out when you meet him in a few days." Howard replied.
It was later and they were having dinner, but Shocket had discovered chicken nuggets which made Darcy and Howard smirk at this and guessed Tivon probably never let Shocket have them, pkus Shocket always asked, if they'd put anything in her food making Darcy confused until Linda explained that Tivon put things in her food making Darcy and Howard stunned hearing this assuring her they hadn't seeing Shocket love them.
"Yeah, only maybe it's why… zhe might be a late bloomer compared to Linda." Darcy whispered to Howard.
"Yeah, Rocket thinks we should get her checked out." Howard whispered to her making Darcy nod.
