Prince Cadence wants to be King. He's known that ever since he understood what the word King meant. I was a little disappointed with the way The Heir and the Crown were written after falling in love with the other Selection series books, so I re-wrote them. I started at Chapter 29 in The Heir and am working my way through it with the things that I would have done differently; more character growth from Eadlyn, more character development, and a better ending (in my opinion).
