«Logbook Entry01 - Year:? - Mid-March»

» It's been three months since I came to this world and I slowly got used to the baby's body. I can even act in Boss Baby Live-action if needed. Now I live in an orphanage -which has more kids than I thought because of the ongoing war.

» Since I am a one-year-old, I'm not allowed to go outside the orphanage, so I learned how to walk properly you know, trying not to face plant with every step. Oh, I also tried to retract my claws and teeth. As I recall Dellinger retracting his teeth in Dressrosa arc, but it is difficult for me to do it, If I can nail this, though, and wrap my freaky tail around my waist, I might just pass for normal except for my abnormal wings, It can avoid a lot of trouble in the Blue sea.

» The assimilation of this body and soul needs more time so the extra body parts I suddenly got are difficult to control. I need more training to control them and I'm sure I will learn to control the claws and teeth first.

» Another thing is my wing differs from the wings of people here, excluding the color. Mine is bigger and looks like an angel wing that flies in movies. I'm excited to test whether mine can fly.

» I also thought that controlling the body parts is similar to Bio-feedback or Life-return or whatever its name is. So I searched on my watch for the inner workings and structure of different Claws and Teeth to learn more about them, and to increase the chance of controlling them. I also collected details of Tails and wings to test bio-feedback in the future.

» I don't know whether it is because of this world or my mixed genes. I don't feel like a one-year-old baby, but I feel stronger. Even then, I sensed something was holding back my growth, possibly because this orphanage was serving up toddler-sized portions. So I thought of putting my Gills to use by fishing in the sea after I'm permitted to go out. It can also be additional training for me.

» I also learned to speak properly with some difficulty due to the lack of a training partner since no one approaches me as they are afraid of my looks; there are also talks that I am a devil or something. I can feel their eyes when they talk about me. If this continues, I am going to snap and prank the hell out of them.

» After reading many One Piece Fanfics I concluded that the first thing to check is the current timeline. I can guess the timeline is before canon because the war between Skypieans & Shandians is ongoing. But I can't figure out if it is before or after Roger's execution. Everyone ignores me due to my age, and some run away in fright after seeing me approach.

» A very important thing is, according to others, I panic at random, so the doctor checked me and declared that I have short-term memory loss. Sigh, what a pain! It is. Only its name is Short term but it does not have any fixed time. The attack appears randomly and even several times in a single day. After some experiments, I recorded that, currently, I can go on without a memory attack for a minimum of 15 minutes and to a maximum of 24 hrs.

» Weirdly enough, my alien watch predicts them with a "BEEP" a second before they strike. So, I've set up a reminder note that kicks in right after the "BEEP." The reminder note will explain to me about my short-term memory loss, reborn in one piece world, my body state, current location, and tasks I finished or to-do list, and finally marked as important- kick God's ass.

» I also remember everything about my previous life except my name and how I died, but I can't remember the events happening here since I was reborn, due to STML (Short Term Memory Loss). I found that I can identify the place and people instinctively the longer I get in touch with them. So, my only shot at learning something new, besides my old-world memories, is to repeat stuff until it sticks, so that I can do it instinctively, even after a memory attack.

»So I am writing this logbook to remember my journey…-

.

"Do I Need This?" I stopped typing, looking frustrated at the watch.

"I'm going to forget about the Log Book anytime now," I grumbled, closing the folder.

"What journey? While there is nothing to write in this logbook while I am locked up here," I griped, glancing at my infantile body, the reason for it.

Then, a lightbulb moment hit me. "Maybe I can set it up to auto-update from the 'Reminder Note' with info from completed tasks," I mused, thinking that could be a neat solution.

"Why wipe out old details from a reminder when they can go right into the logbook?" I decided on the plan and jotted it down.

As I browsed through the folder, a frustrating thought crossed my mind. "What's the point of all this knowledge if I forget after learning it?" I huffed, swiping the screen faster.

"I could share it, sure, but can I trust anyone here?" I pondered skeptically, throwing a mocking glance at the empty space around me.

"And even if I did trust someone, how can I be sure they won't take advantage of my memory loss and pull a fast one on me?" I groaned, watching kids play nearby.

Bored out of my mind, I suddenly realized something. "Hold up, why am I talking out loud?" I exclaimed, surprised at this new habit.

"Is it because of me trying to remember things frequently or due to the baby's brain? I'm talking aloud," I guessed grimly at blurting my thoughts so that someone could hear and find out about my rebirth.

"At least it's only me who has to listen to my ramblings," I reassured myself, casting a glance around at the empty space once more. I quickly shrugged off my new habit and slipped the watch back on my wrist.

"Okay, time for a little workout," I cheered, hopping up. The playground outside the orphanage was perfect for my training. Since I was still tiny, I stuck to some gentle stretching, avoiding any heavy-duty exercises that might stunt my growth.

I hope things are different in this world," I muttered, thinking about Ace and Luffy's torture by Garp.

My routine mostly involved stretching, and it was surprisingly easy. Thanks to the Panther mink genes, I guess. Plus, it came with some perks, like moving around silently and having night vision.

As I was immersed in exercise, I suddenly saw three kids at some distance looking and talking about me. I can hear them clearly from here not because of enhanced hearing but because of their annoyingly loud voice.

"Look, it's the devil! What do you think he's doing?" one kid remarked.

"I bet he's up to some evil ritual," another chimed in.

"Shhh! Keep your voice down. He might hear us," a third kid cautioned, clearly spooked.

"Don't sweat it. He'll forget about us soon enough," the first kid reassured them.

"Yeeaah, matron told its's-short-te-erm me-memory loss or something," explained the second kid with some difficulty.

'Shit, these kids are so annoying. Why don't they go bother some others?' I glared at them.

'Hmph, I will just add them into my 'revenge list' and show them what an actual devil can do. Hehehe,' I muttered, snickering as I imagined all the ways I could give them a good scare. My laugh scared them off, and they took off running in fear, their shrieks fading into the distance. 'I'll remember them even if I forget everything else,' I scoffed, looking at their back.

"After I've gotten used to this body and when I am permitted to go out. I'll have to start fishing since the food here won't cut it," I mumbled, hunger pangs serving as a reminder. I quickly jotted it down on my to-do list before I could forget. "...Or find a way to sneak out of here," I decided.
