Chapter: What're ya Lookin' at?

As I speculated about Gan Fall, the matron came forward again, interrupting my thoughts.
"He did not make trouble in the Orphanage for some time, you know..." she explained, gesturing around. "... He has been busy outside," she mumbled.
"But for the last two weeks, for an unknown reason, he started telling horror stories," she distraught, with dark circles under her eyes.
"And he describes them so vividly with the help of vision and tone dials," she paled further, thinking about the night.
"The kids do not sleep due to fear. Even if they sleep, he plays ominous music, frightening them awake," she finished, shivering.
"Well, that's a problem," Gan Fall sighed, pinching his forehead. He is having a severe headache due to this situation.
He should give fair judgment with no partiality, but what punishment can he give to a two-year-old kid? As a last resort, he turned to the culprit. "Well, do you have anything to say?" he asked me.
"God! what is there to ask him? Just ignore him," someone interrupted from the crowd, supported by others.
"God, these were not the only things he did; he did many things," shouted another voice from the crowd.
"Yeah, you should give punishment fairly." Another childish voice yelled, leading a group to shout "Fair Judgment, fair judgment" starting a protest.
Gan Fall helplessly looked at the protesting crowd. They are getting out of control as his guards are trying to maintain order.
He still can't believe that a kid caused all this. He was speechless about how the adults were ganging up on a kid.
As the crowd became uncontrollable, he became worried about how a two-year-old would react to the crowd yelling and outcasting him.
So he turned to look at the culprit who caused the mess, only to find him missing. 'Did he escape from here?' he thought, anxiously.
He searched around the crowd only to gape in shock, after finding the culprit leading a group of protesters yelling. "Fair Judgment, fair judgment," standing at the front.
Since Gan Fall is the center of attention, most of them saw the change in his expression and followed his gaze, only to face-plant in shock at the scene.
Most of the crowd quickly found this anomaly and stood dumbly unknown to react to this. The entire crowd stopped the protest, staring at me in bewilderment.
I found the voices yelling behind me reduced. "You assholes, didn't you eat any food? Put more power behind your voice," I scolded them.
I still didn't hear any voice even after scolding, I angrily turned back only to swallow my words as everyone was staring at me.
I got goosebumps at all these weird eyes looking at me. Even though I'm shameless, I still became uncomfortable with this.
"What're ya lookin' at?" I blurted out, subconsciously breaking the silence.
The crowd looked surprised, then looked peeved, so they yelled, "You! So what?".
I suddenly became angry, 'You are the ones who started this,' so I shouted back, "Look again, I dare ya," I challenged.
They looked pissed at being challenged by a kid, so they shouted in unison, "Then we dare."
I suddenly remembered something, then became very excited and glared at them. "What're ya lookin' at?" I yelled again.
"You! So Wh- "They chorused, but Gan Fall interrupted, again. "Stop! Why are you guys fighting against a kid?" He criticized them, ruining my fun.
He started rebuking them as everyone looked ashamed at their weird behavior and glared at me. I looked disappointed at this result. I hoped it would continue for hours.
After admonishing the crowd, Gan Fall turned toward me. "You, why are you protesting along with them?" he asked me.
I blinked, "Because I need a fair judgment" I opined, then pouted, remembering that he ruined my fun.
"Are you okay with getting punishment?" he probed in surprise as others looked complicated.
"What are you talking about?" I acted confused, knowing their thoughts.
"I need fair judgment from that fisherman and fruit seller who cheated me," I requested, pointing at the mentioned people causing an uproar among the crowd.
"Then that pedophile over there,' I pointed at the perfume guy. 'What do you mean, pedophile? Don't accuse me randomly if you don't remember anything,' he shouted indignantly.
"Then the restaurant workers who admitted to threatening me," I listed before looking at Gan Fall.
"They all revealed their crime here, so shouldn't they also be punished?" I questioned, staring at him.
"If you punish me, then they should also be punished. I want fair judgment," I demanded as the accused paled in fright.
"God! you can't do it," one of them shouted in panic.
"Yeah! I didn't even harm him," complained the other, then they pushed the blame on me as I looked at everything impassively.
"Shut Up! You asked for this trial, but when it doesn't go your way, you protest," Gan Fall reprimanded angrily, losing his cool.
"And You all are ganging up on a kid. Don't you all feel ashamed?" He berated them.
Everyone was shocked to silence, by God's sudden outburst. Suddenly a «BEEP» sound disrupted the silence. Everyone looked at me resignedly, "Not Now!" someone muttered.
"Where Am I?" I shouted as everyone sighed. Before I could further inquire, I heard the 'Reminder Note' transmitted through the earbud I wore, so I calmed down, listening attentively.
Everyone saw me standing there, staring blankly, and waiting for my reaction. After I heard all the important details, "Are you, God?" I inquired Gan Fall with expectation.
"yeah.." he replied warily as everyone looked confused at this obvious question.
"Agh! Look a Lightning God" I yelled, suddenly pointing to the sky as everyone turned to look.
Then I ran forward, bypassing all the distracted guards, and slugged Gan Fall in his face. Then "Yeah! I punched a God" I whooped in celebration "Now I can-"
"Aaah...! he hit the God," someone shouted in fright, interrupting my celebration.
I looked around at the panicked crowd. "What's all the fuss about?" I muttered. Nearby Guards drew their weapons and a stupid-looking bird screeched angrily at me.
"Everyone stand down, he is just a kid, and it doesn't hurt much," Gan Fall calmed the crowd. I somewhat got annoyed at the last statement.
A guard carried me to a nearby room. I read the remaining details from the watch while waiting.
Gan Fall arrived sometime later after calming the crowd. "So why did you punch me?" he asked, staring at me.
"I'm instructed to kick God's ass when I see him," I shrugged at him.
"And in all the details written in 'Reminder Note,' 'I' marked it as an important," I revealed calmly to which he sweatdropped.
"Why do you want to hit a God?" he questioned, in confusion.
"Probably for sending me here or giving me this body," I described before pausing in thought. "I think it's mainly because of giving me a shitty memory," I concurred.
"Ok, I understand," he nodded, looking thoughtful.
"Since you have already hit me, cross out that instruction," he demanded nervously, thinking about what I may do in the future with this instruction.
'It seems he knows about my watch, so are we acquainted?' I assumed at his lack of questioning about the note.
"What! No way. Do you think I am stupid?" I scoffed at him in annoyance.
"You said it yourself that it doesn't hurt much, so why should I cross it out?" I demanded.
"Well, it's really painful. I only said it to save my face," he lied with a straight face.
"Bullshit, that's a lie," I pointed at him.
"*sigh* Fine, have it your way then," Gan Fall sighed in defeat.
"I thought I could somehow save you from the trouble, but you ruined it by punching me," he revealed his acquaintance with me.
"Really?" I exclaimed in surprise. "Do we know each other?" I asked doubtfully.
"Well, you and he are friends," Gan Fall pointed at Pierre, who was looking at me.
"He is only two years old, but he can carry a person" He introduced me to the bird. It looks smaller than in Canon.
"What a funny-looking bird," I mocked it, and it responded by screeching in anger, trying to peck me, I swatted it away, easily.
"I will postpone announcing your punishment to tomorrow," Gan Fall notified me. I nodded at him, pressing the bird's head to the ground.
"You don't get a holiday, right?" I asked suddenly, after thinking for a while.
"No, I don't get a holiday. Why do you ask?" Gan Fall asked curiously.
"Just 'cause," I replied vaguely, with a glint in my eye,
"So, what is going to happen now?" I inquired, holding Pierrie's beak as it struggled to open it.
"For now, let's return to the trial," he sighed, thinking about the crowd outside.
He walked out, taking his seat again. I also returned to my place, ignoring the surrounding people. The crowd boiled as soon as we arrived.
"God, look, he even disrespected you, he should be punished severely," shouted a person.
"Yeah, punish him," yelled another, and they began to shout it in chorus again.
"punish him, Punish Him, PUNISH HIM," they shouted in unison.
I was not concerned about the punishment, as I already had a plan ready, which is mentioned in my 'Reminder Note.'
"I know what you feel like," Gan Fall calmed them, pressing his hands down.
"But the sun is about to set, so I will announce the decision tomorrow," he announced, looking at the sky.
Many protestors looked unwilling, and the people I accused sighed in relief. Soon, the crowd calmed down and dispersed from here.
