Chapter: What Am I Doing?

After the roll call, I started preparing for tonight's act and rested for a while. I woke up after everyone slept, then moved out slowly wearing my mask and bandana. I took my sling bag, leaving my packed backpack behind.
I walked among the kids, who were sleeping heavily, due to two weeks of sleeplessness because of 'past me' telling horror stories.
"Even if they are awake, they won't dare to check for any noise due to fear," I mused, looking at a shivering kid pretending to be asleep after hearing my step.
I exited the orphanage easily and found Su waiting nearby. "You are already here ah!? Let's go," I waved, taking the sack hidden nearby.
I called Su over. "Here, this is the rough plan for tonight," I pointed at the hand-drawn map I prepared earlier.
"These are all the dials I placed in advance." I pointed at the marks drawn along the way. She nodded in understanding.
'I didn't even bother. How an animal could understand it? Even a gun and sword can come alive, so why bother with these small things?' I dismissed the thoughts, taking it as a perk of One Piece World.
I pointed at the blue mark. "These are all breath dials filled with fog, so your job is to turn these on," I revealed, Su, widened her eyes in surprise.
"This is a simple job. You can do it right?" I dared. "SU~," the fox nodded confidently.
I sighed in relief at having extra help. I pointed at the red mark.
"Don't turn these ON. They are sleeping gas. You will be out if you turn it ON," I instructed sternly.
"Clear!" I asked. "Su~" she saluted with its paws nodding frantically.
"Do this, for now. You will find the remaining plan yourself, later or tomorrow," I explained, to clear some doubts.
"Oh! Yeah, it will take time for the fog to spread," I reminded.
"So meet me here afterward," I pointed at a place on the map.
"Good Luck!" I waved carrying the sack and headed to my destination - Cloud Cutting Factory. I reached the factory, after sneakily avoiding the patrolling guards.
I entered it after knocking out the security with sleeping gas. I searched around the factory before spotting the thing I needed according to the next step - 'Acquire Cloudcutter'-.
"There!" I discovered it easily and dragged the two cloud cutters while searching for a 'thing' that may be here according to 'Past ME'.
I smirked after finding what I needed. "As 'I' speculated, there is a vehicle to move the cloud block's around. Other than Dial boat, there are also Dial-powered vehicles," I muttered, studying the vehicle in front of me.
It somewhat resembles a pickup truck but is bigger. I put the Cloudcutters in it and drove it with difficulty - because of height - towards the meeting place.
It was already foggy by the time I reached the meeting point, somehow without being discovered by the patrols.
"Su~" Su called and ran over after finding me. "It looks like you did well," I praised her, looking at the looming fog, further reducing the visibility of this moonless night.
I surveyed this area before turning on the dials with sleeping gas that was stored near this area, forming a radius around here. I also placed a breath Dial near us to drive away the sleeping gas from reaching us.
I took two lamp dials, fixing one in my bandanna and the other in Su's scarf. "I can't see through the fog even if I can see in the dark," I muttered, moving towards the center of the radius.
I took a cloud cutter moving towards my target - a grocery store. "You will be the first," I muttered and started cutting the corner of the shop. Su acted as a lookout.
It took a half-hour to cut a hole large enough for me to get in."*wheeze* *hu* stupid *wheeze* body *huff*, "I panted, sprawling on the ground.
Then I entered the shop using the hole made. I looked around the shop contentedly, then found two rucksacks and started filling one of them with necessary things.
After raiding the shop around "Let's see Clothes, Toiletries, ingredients, utensils, sleeping bags, snacks," I checked the loots.
"These will be useful for nearly two years; I think," I muttered, then squeezed the full rucksack through the hole to the outside of the shop and loaded it on the vehicle.
"Su, come on, we need to treat ourselves for hard work," I called Su, then we entered the shop again then raided the snack section happily.
We only stopped after we had our fill. "Hu! This is the first time I am robbing a shop." I smacked my lips, patting my stomach. "Su~" the fox cried, looking distrustfully at me rolling with its bulging stomach.
"What!? you are also my accomplice now. So if I got caught, you are also in danger," I retorted smugly.
"Su~ "Su yipped, looking smug.
"Yeah shit, I will forget about it anyway, so let's enjoy while we can," I declared, standing to leave. Then I took some useful things from this shop and added them to my sack; They are useful for completing my next step easily.
"Let's go! To the next destination," I announced, driving away after I removed the sleeping gas dials. I maneuvered around the patrols sleeping on the ground.
We reached the destination easily, with Su pointing the direction from above as I drove with my short body.
I got down and looked at my destination -Dial Shop- which is built to look like floating in the air. I took the things from the sack and made a contraption, which I connected between the vehicle and Cloudcutter.
"Ok Su, do it," I shouted in a hushed tone. Su jumped on the accelerator of the vehicle, powering the contraption, which in turn made the cloud cutter move back and forth, somewhat resembling a chainsaw.
We used it to cut a hole in the Dial shop, but it took a half-hour because the shop was floating in the air. I entered the shop, drooling at the Dials displayed, and started looting them.
"Sigh! This rucksack can only hold these many Dials," I sighed, looking at the full bag.
"Let's see," I muttered, recording the looted Dials comprising 20 water, 20 flames, 20 breaths, 10 rare jet dials, 5 thunder dials, and some miscellaneous dials.
"Damn it! What Am I Doing?" I cursed suddenly at my odd behavior at this time and place.
"I'm relaxed even now?" I startlingly discovered my reduced vigilance, even during a burglary. Closing the watch confusedly, I packed the bag, and loaded it into the vehicle, postponing thinking about the reason for my action.
Then we drove away from there, with Su directing and I driving the vehicle. "Well, it is going to be a long night," I excitedly drove to my next destination.
Similarly, along the way we hit a meat shop, fruit shop, etc., filling the vehicle and reaching Angel Beach.
I moved the Dial Boat from the hidden location, pushing it into the sea. "Now we need to transfer my bags into the dial boat," I sighed, sweating hard from all the action.
We slowly transferred my bags into the boat, then we drove away, as Su pointed the direction from above.
