Chapter: Where Is Special Effect?

We drove the boat following the map 'Past Me' drew and reached the Upper Yard. I circled the island to find the place marked on the map. We quickly found a presumed place marked on the map and stopped below it.

I looked at the Upper Yard carefully and compared it with the drawing attached to the map. "Ok! It is here," I confirmed the location. Handing a rope to Su.

"Go above and secure it to the roots," I instructed the Fox, who bit it and started climbing the Upper Yard.

While I waited for Su to complete the job, I used the other end of the rope to secure the bags together. Then I anchored the boat properly to the roots visible on the Upper Yards wall.

I threw a baited fishing line into the sea and secured the Fishing Rod to the boat. As I was checking the fishing line, "Sue~" Su called from above.

"Ok! I'm coming above," I called, then tested the rope before climbing it.

"*Ha* It's been a long time since I climbed any mountain," I sighed nostalgically. Scaling the Upper Yard, I thought about all the Mountain Climbing I had done in my previous life.

I enjoyed this brief climb and got annoyed at its quick end. "I will climb the Giant Jack soon," I vowed after reaching the top. The only man-made structure up here attracted my attention. I sent Su to scout around the area.

"Oh! This is the other half," I exclaimed, looking at the other half of Cricket's house.

"I now know why 'I' have marked this place to climb Upper Yard." I nodded, then started surveying the area.

"Well, it will work as a good temporary base," I noted the building condition. I took two breath dials labeled insect repellent and tear gas, then threw them into the building.

"Let's hope it's enough to scatter any critters inside," I muttered, returning to the edge to retrieve the bags.

As I was pulling the ropes, "Suuee~" Su screeched, suddenly startled by the insects running out of the building, and started chasing them in anger/embarrassment.

While Su was enjoying her time, meanwhile at the edge, I "Ha.. ha… *wheeze* Damn, *wheeze* it *huff* very… ah.. ha... tiring...*wheeze*," struggle to pull the bag up.

I only pulled them to the top completely after some struggle and fell on my back, panting heavily. "I should have *ha* made a pulley or something *huff* to drag it up," I complained in exhaustion.

After regaining my breath, I sat down, taking water and food from the bag to relieve my thirst and replenish my energy. I took a lamp Dial and shone it around the area, increasing the visibility, then dragged the bags into the half-building, inspecting for any insects.

"It's like wilderness survival," I mused, dropping the bags inside the building. I sat on the bags and started eating, looking at the vast forest.

I checked the time on my watch. "Looks like I don't really get memory attacks if I'm adrenaline high," I inferred after calculating the time from the trial to the present.

"But I can't be adrenaline high all the time," I lamented, my condition. "It's possible, only in the dangerous/vast blue sea," I sighed regretfully at the choice.

"What to do now?" I muttered, remembering that I was just a runaway from Angel Island.

'The places I visited on Angel Island today were not in my memory and I see them for the first time...' I recalled the problem '... But my body feels familiar with them. If you go to a new place, you will feel excited about it. But I was less excited,' I concluded after feeling the change in a spike of adrenaline in Angel Island and Here- Upper Yard.

"The odd actions back in the dial shop are because of my body getting used to that place," I deduced my action of ignoring the danger.

'My body got relaxed automatically in there, it is like the feeling of returning home after work,' I compared the feeling.

'It can't be helped,' I sighed thoughtfully, and 'I have been an adrenaline junkie in my previous life. It seems I need to continue it here,' I accepted eagerly.

"So, I just need to travel to unknown places to reduce the frequency of Memory attacks," I deduced seriously. "Blue Sea it is," I decided finally.

"And I can't just jump from 10000m..." I reasoned. 'I'm not Kaido, I will get shattered to pieces,' I shuddered, thinking about it.

"Even if I want to jump, some preparations are necessary." My eyes gleamed in excitement before discarding that idea after looking at my body.

"First, I need to find out everything about my body," I decided, then started gazing at the calm sea.

I sat there silently, with various thoughts. "SUE!" the cry of Fox brought me out of my thoughts.

"Oh! You are still here?" I patted the huffing Fox, for ignoring it, who seems to c me for some time now.

"Well, I was just thinking about something," I replied as Su lay down near me.

"What do you think I should do? If I got bored with the world again?" I questioned Su as well as myself.

'See, how bored I was in my previous world? That someone took pity on me and send me here,' I thought wryly, thinking about all the actions I did in my previous life to relieve my boredom.

'Maybe not out of pity, but to prevent me from spreading more chaos there,' I smirked. 'I was crazy before,' I chuckled bashfully, thinking of my crazy ideas.

Su tilted her head doubtfully, seeing my chuckle. I patted her, then lay on my back, watching the sky through the open half of the building. "You know, this white sea is a small dot in the entire world," I explained as Su suddenly got attracted to my tail moving in front of her without my notice.

"I think this place up here can be explored completely in less than three years," I stated, certainly while Su started playing with my uncontrollable tail.

"Assuming that the High west is also in this same 'sea cloud'," I muttered, thinking about another way to reach the White Sea which was informed by Gan Fall in the canon.

"Then there is the blue sea," I revealed. Su stopped playing, looking attentive after hearing it was about the Blue Sea.

"It has six oceans, East, West, North, South, Paradise, and New World," I explained as Su listened seriously, ignoring my tail.

"I think all of them can be explored thoroughly within twenty to thirty years," I guessed roughly, thinking for a while.

"Well, you know, Roger conquered the Grand line in less than six years," I stated, recalling the details from the canon.

"Assuming that I go to the blue sea and explore all over this world and remain alive after that," I speculated on the possibility.

"What should I do further from getting bored, similar to the experience on Angel Island?" I asked. Su looked confused. 'You are bored? You clearly looked excited,' and thought.

I lay there, gazing at the stars in the sky with various thoughts in my mind. My eyes brightened with a realization when I looked at the stars. The sudden epiphany firmly got imprinted deep in my soul, or it was already in my soul and only got uncovered now. Well, it may also be present in the soul of every human. I stood up with a glint in my eyes, startling the Fox.

I walked out of the building gazing at the sky stopping at the edge "This world is also a dot in the universe, so why should I shackle myself to this one world when there are many out there," I reached for the sky, remembering that this is One Piece world, where aliens are real, pirates roam in the space, etc.

My eyes gleamed as my thoughts cleared up. "I will not only enjoy this world but also every world above," I proclaimed, pointing at the sky.

"I will drag the entire world down, If I want to reach The Sea Of Stars," I declared, spreading my arms wide as the whole jungle woke up with shouts of birds, howls of wolves, and chirps of insects.

I stood there posing for a while, then yelled, "Where Is Special Effect?" ruining the previous image of declaring my Dream.

"You Stupid God, what is with the animals shouting? do you think this is a zoo or something?" I blamed God unreasonably.

"It is not cool at all," I revealed the reason for my anger. Su face-faulted hearing the stupid reason for my anger.

"To show my awesomeness, there should at least be a lightning strike or a volcano erupting behind me," I complained narcissistically. Sinking to my knees in depression, Su rolled her eyes, looking speechless, which she truly is.

"It's all because you sent me here. If I was in the Blue sea, then there will be a cyclone or tsunami forming behind me," I proclaimed confidently. Su face-pawed, thinking, 'You will also die next second,' then got attracted to the movement in the forest.

I started punching the ground depressingly, "See, there is not even a cloud forming above to form thunder," I complained stupidly.

"You can at least make hundreds of shooting stars fly by or make a meteor strike the earth," I shouted. Su looked at the forest vigilantly, ignoring my stupid ramble.

As I continued to ramble, the ground shook. "Damn it! What's the point of an earthquake when I'm on my knees," I seethed, standing up.

"SU~ Suu~ susu~" Su cried in panic. I turned back to see the entire forest shaking.

"Fucking Hell," I cursed, staring at the forest that was waking up. I can hear everything in there, rushing around, creating a stampede.

I quickly picked up Su and ran to the building, grabbing my sling bag before jumping down into the sea. We climbed onto the Dial boat soaking wet.

We quickly scampered out of there. I stopped the boat some distance away. "You guys are the ones who ruined my awesomeness by creating a stampede, huh!. From tomorrow onwards, you all will become my food," I declared angrily.

Suddenly, a gigantic figure rose from the middle of the jungle, searching around. "Oh shit! I forgot about this snake," I panicked as cold sweat formed, feeling a chill on my back. Su cowered in fright behind me.

I regained my senses as I pressed the accelerator, increasing the speed of the vehicle, and creating a distance from the island. "Phew! We are safe here." I wiped the sweat/water dripping down my face.

I patted Su, who jumped in fright at my touch. "Hehehe!" I snickered at the reaction. Su growled angrily at me.

"I was only reminding you to show the direction." I raised my hands in surrender, but a smirk on my face can't be ignored even through my mask.
