Chapter: Is It Cool?

They look surprised hearing me proclaim about chasing God out of Upper Yard.
"Really, if you can chase them, we can easily occupy it," Raki cheered excitedly as they beamed.
"Like Hell! Why should I allow the Shandians into Upper Yard?" I objected. They looked dumbfounded at that.
"What? Don't friends help each other?" Kamakiri yelled in betrayal. Others looked with various expressions on their face.
"Hmph! I also have Skypiean friends," I huffed in annoyance.
"And I don't pick sides. I am neutral," I stated, shutting them up.
They thought for a while in silence. "Then why are you helping us?" Raki asked in confusion.
"I ONLY proposed bringing you to Golden city, but you guys changed the topic," I accused them.
"Besides, the war between you is an eyesore and is annoying," I stated my reasons calmly.
"You are trying to stop the 400 years of war just because of this?" Wyper roared along with others.
"Just because...?" I seethed.
"What do you mean, just because?" I snapped at them.
"While 'I'm' hunting, you guys barge, scaring my prey away. And how can a human sleep properly with those noises?" I rambled angrily.
"Do you know? It takes an hour for 'me' to reach my home from the forest, because of those stupid Skypieans patrolling nearby, I can't even move freely in the forest," I ranted, making them dumbfounded.
"So, I will stop this war and enjoy MY peace there," I declared.
"After I stop the war, you guys can do whatever you want, except for stepping on Upper Yard without permission," I warned unreasonably.
The five of them thought silently for a while, looking at each other. "Fine, we can accept you being neutral, but what to do now?" Kamakiri asked.
"You may also need Skypieans' help in defeating the intruders," I suggested, as they looked repulsive.
"What!? Do you think of defeating the enemy without their help?" I sneered. "Good Luck with that," I scoffed at them.
"We won't ask for help from them in my whole life," Wyper spat angrily
"Really?" I grinned. "But in the future, you all live together," I announced, making them gasp in surprise. 'After both of your islands were destroyed,' I added inwardly.
"You only have this much place up in the sky, but you started killing each other," I questioned sternly.
"I wonder how both of you even have this much population after all these years of war," I quipped, increasing their annoyance.
"But…" Wyper started before I cut him off. "Just promise you won't attack the Skypieans till the problem is solved," I proposed as a compromise.
"Otherwise you forget about this meeting since I will forget it quicker than you," I stated seriously.
They thought silently and relented, "Ok! we accept, we won't attack skypieans while you are here," Wyper promised, along with others.
"Why do we live with THEM?" Kamakiri questioned, looking weird.
"Forget it, I don't even want to know," Kamakiri muttered. "So, what do we do now?" he asked.
"I need your help to stop the war," I revealed, "And you guys need to train properly without being limited to weapons," I pointed out since most of the weapons are allocated to war.
"I think I can help with it." I started thinking there must be weapons 'Past me' must have collected.
"And I also suggest Raki train with you guys," I concluded, as they are eager to try the weapons.
"But we can't just train here; others will become suspicious of us," Brahman pointed out the shortcoming.
"Well, I have a secret place for that," I informed. Looking stealthily at my palm where the 'Reminder Note' projected 'My history' tab directly on it, which mentions a secret training base. Then we started discussing the details of how to get there, a reason to tell others, etc.,
"That's it. We will follow the plan after you bring the weapons," Kamakiri finalized. We were ready to return.
"Oh! Don't forget about your tasks," I reminded them of their promise.
"What task?" Wyper asked, feeling out of the loop. Then Braham explained the ticket for going to the City of Shandora.
"Then I don't need to do anything right," Wyper growled warning me from making him follow the task.
"Don't worry, you don't need to do a single task," I reassured, smirking mischievously.
Before Wyper could sigh in relief, "Because…, you are my grandfather in the future!" I informed, beginning my prank on Wyper.
"You can confirm with them if you want. Isn't that right? Guys!" I asked others, squinting in warning as they nodded, sweating.
Wyper asked for confirmation as they acknowledged awkwardly. "So, my grandpa, you need to take care of me from now on," I informed Wyper, who looks pale. Others are trying hard to suppress their laughter.
"As if I don't believe any of that," Wyper sputtered with his face red. 'You will regret it,' I thought, grinning.
"WAAAA! Grandpa is a meanie *sniff*" I wailed out loud, startling them.
"Why are you crying like a kid?' Wyper yelled in anger. 'As long as they have known me, I always acted mature, me crying like a kid will make him flustered' I grinned evilly.
"But I'm a kid and only three years old at that," I stated without any trace of crying.
"Why you..." Wyper looked angry at my acting.
"Are you going to accept it or not?" I asked him. "No way," Wyper rejected firmly, folding his hands.
"Waah! big sis, big bro," I cried, running towards others as they looked bewildered.
"My grandpa abandoned me *sniff* I sobbed, looking at them with teary eyes.
"Don't act like a baby, it doesn't suit you," Wyper roared in anger.
I jump acting in fright and hid behind Raki. She was startled and soothed me. "Ok, don't cry, isn't big sis here," she comforted, acting along. "You! how can you abandon a kid? You are cruel," Raki demanded Wyper.
"Yeah, how can you do it Wyper?" Kamakiri pointed at Wyper.
"I thought you were a good person, but look what you have done," Kamakiri scolded Wyper, taking this as a chance to get him.
"You are a scum; for abandoning a kid," Brahman despised Wyper.
"If you asked us, we could have helped you, but you abandoned a kid," Genbo shook his head disappointedly.
Wyper listened to this in disbelief. "You Guys…" Wyper looked betrayed, pointing at them, "Are you taking revenge on me now?" Wyper roared in anger.
"Don't change the subject," Kamakiri shouted. "How can a grandpa abandon his grandkid?" He shouted, snickering.
«BZZT» my watch vibrated alerting nearby Raki, who let go of me and looked at me. I looked around. "Where Am I?" I whispered and heard what Kamakiri said.
"What!? A Grandpa abandoned a Kid?" I yelled moving to the front of the group.
I found Wyper, who is standing alone, "Hey, kid, did your grandpa abandon you?" I asked, looking at him in pity.
"Don't worry, kid, you are already this big. You can take care of your own if you work hard," I comforted Wyper, patting his high shoulders.
"Look at you, only wearing leaves as dress *tsk* *tsk* so poor," I commented, looking at the leaves covering his bottom.
"Your grandpa is cruel not even giving you a dress before abandoning you," I seethed angrily.
"When you see him next time point him out, I will teach him a lesson," I assured Wyper, who is having a numb look on his face.
Others are also looking perplexed at this situation. "I'm not the one getting abandoned, you are the one abandoned by me," Wyper shrieked out in confusion/panic/annoyance.
I looked wide-eyed and processed that statement, "What, I'm the abandoned kid?" I cried in surprise.
"Abandon! they abandon an awesome guy like me?" I shouted.
"Well, it's their loss," I lamented and looked at Wyper. "Did you say…, you are my grandpa?" I questioned him in doubt.
"No, I didn't." Wyper denied quickly.
I turned to others, "Are you the guys who abandoned me?" and questioned, snapping them out of their dazedness.
"What? No way. Why would we abandon you?" Kamakiri denied it after Raki informed him of the memory attack.
"He is the one abandoning you," Kamakiri quickly pointed at Wyper, whose eyes widened at being accused.
"Yeah, we were confronting him just now," Braham smirked at Wyper. Genbo also nodded in agreement.
Raki turned her back, trying hard not to laugh. It looks like she is crying from here.
"Look! she is crying," Kamakiri pointed seeing me look at her.
"You are my grandpa?" I asked Wyper, who denied it. "You look so young to be my grandpa," I pointed, observing Wyper, who suddenly started sweating.
Suddenly my eyes brighten, thinking about something. I ran quickly and hugged Wyper's leg. "Grandpa! Don't abandon me, I will do anything," I cried as Wyper is desperately trying to peel me off.
"Please tell the secret of you looking young," I pleaded.
Somewhere at Grand Line a witch sneezed, "Someone is asking about the secret of my youth" she murmured and got back to her work.
"You're pleading just for that?" everyone shouted with shark teeth. Then an elaborate performance of all the scenes from the wife abandoned, girlfriend abandoned, son abandoned, etc., series took place. Wyper finally relented in despair after listening to my nth pleading lines.
"So, what do you need me to do?" Wyper gritted in anger.
"First, as a grandpa, you have to carry me home," I beamed at him.
"Piggyback ride," I shouted like a kid. Wyper is about to deny it before those boys dragged him away.
"Wyper, just agree I don't want to hear any more of those lines," Kamakiri pleaded to him.
"It's because of you guys I'm in this situation," Wyper hissed angrily at them.
"We didn't know it will be like this. Look, my ears will bleed if I listened anymore of it," Braham pleaded to him. Raki also looked at him hopefully nearby.
"Ok F.I.N.E!" Wyper gritted, stomping towards me.
Afterward, he carried me back toward his tent as others followed behind, suppressing their snicker/giggles. I read the reminder on my watch and understood everything but still acted dumb and I performed my April fool prank unknowingly.
«REMINDER NOTE »
» Phew, You FINALLY found the watch, at last. It seems the blink setting is working fine. Don't worry, it will only be visible when you look directly at it and won't attract others' attention if seen from a distance. I will clear your other doubts now.
» All of this is written by YOU..., What! you can't recall it? That's because You have short-term memory loss. This Note is a backup prepared by 'You' for you.
» Do you know where you are? You must have already said the annoying 'Where Am I?'. That sentence can be used as a Title if this is written as a story... Psh!...let's not think about it...where were we now? Yeah, your situation, You are in One Piece World. Yeah..., THAT One Piece you are thinking of now.
» You can explore on your own or read this note fully. From here on, you are alone! And update the Note if you are alive. Good Luck. p.S. Read the Log Book to know more details.
» I changed some settings on the watch since it should be hidden. I set it in vibrate mode «BZZT» so it won't alert anyone who doesn't know about it. I have also changed the holograph to display it directly on the skin of the forearm or the hand, so you can use it conspicuously. Change it if it is not useful.

After a week of preparation, I sneaked them to the island using a map on my watch and showed them around. All the adults are busy at war, so it is easy to sneak out.
I left for Upper Yard to bring the weapons but didn't see Scyther when I reached Golden City. I packed the looted weapons and left a tone dial with some instructions on it for Scyther.
On the way back, I picked Conis to introduce to others. Even though I warned them not to attack Skypiean I am still worried about it. Conis looked excited without any fear even after knowing whom she is about to meet but the way she held Su shows how nervous she is.
After meeting with others, the air is filled with tension after seeing Conis. "Who is she?" Wyper growled, pointing at the tall Conis hiding comically behind the short me.
"*scoff* my grandma," I sneered in annoyance at his hostility. Wyper looked dumbfounded then after a while his face turned red. I looked at him, confused.
'Why does his face turn red? Can Wyper even make such a face?' I thought, not knowing about the story about the future I spoke.
Raki got along quickly with Conis, relieving some tension in the air. The tent was already set up by the time I arrived, and then they started rummaging through the weapons I brought.
Raki and Conis were happily talking as Su started roaming around the island; I rested for a while before starting to train, beginning my new training schedule.

«Logbook Entry: 246; Year: 1510- Mid-June »
» It's Mid-June and been nearly two months since we came here. Now everyone became friendly with Conis except Wyper, who acts weird around her. They train with her and even taught her how to use weapons properly.
» All of them will return home before dark, so the adult has not found us but knows we are up to something.
» I also trained in using a spear and guns; I practice the same move, again and again, to imprint them in my muscle memory. If I was handed a spear, I will assume the proper stance instinctively ready to fight, and similarly, with aiming, I can take a proper shooting stance instinctively.
» Since I forget things, I don't get bored doing the same task repeatedly, so sometimes memory loss is also helpful. I spared with others and get my ass handed over, but it also increases my experience in a fight.
» I can now produce electro easily after training in it for a long time, only because of it; I can somehow fight against them. Using it also consumes my stamina.
» I finally confirmed that I can control fire; my hand can heat similar to that of a heat dial. I can keep my food warm or cook it; Bullshit! I can't even produce a spark using fire; guess I can only heat food now.
» Finally, my main gain of these two months is this thing I made after getting the inspiration from using Eisen Dial. Since Eisen Dial clouds are strong as Iron. Why can't I use them to make Ships, Cars, planes, boats, etc.? then I can get any vehicle I want with just a press of a button.
» So I started planning, and I settled on this island to design it even when everyone returns to their home at night. And succeeded in creating a prototype which is the box-like thing I'm looking at now.
» It doesn't look cool. It is a crude box containing two Eisen Dial and a jet dial. There are contraptions with many gears made of wood. The Eisen dials are fixed but the Jet Dial can be moved freely.
.
"It looks ugly and crude," I commented, looking at that prototype, and taking its picture to store it in the Log Book.
"If only I can make it electronic, then it will all be easy instead of a complicated mechanical process," I lamented, looking at this.
"Let's see how it turns out," I muttered, then follow the instructions 'Past me' maid and turned the machine on.
*tick* *click* the gears rotate, controlling the Eisen Dial to spew iron clouds and move the jet dial from its place. It changes shape and takes the shape of a waver made entirely of Eisen clouds. It's in the shape of a ski bike. I hid the control machine and Eisen dials under the seat with only the stop button visible.
I boarded it to check whether it stays afloat since it is even lighter than wood. It floats successfully, but it can only carry me and some luggage.
I started testing it as others looked in awe, and I pressed the accelerator, which successfully carried the vehicle forward, exciting me. I turned the handlebar to check whether it works properly and then I happily drove it around the island, testing for any problems.
I returned to the place where Shandians & Conis were standing and pressed the stop button. I waited anxiously because it is the important part, as the cloud started shrinking to its previous box look with the Jet dial returning to its previous place in the machine.
"YES, it's a success," I shouted happily. Others also beamed. It uses one Eisen Dial as an exterior for the Waver and the other to produce the interior mechanical parts. So, along with one jet dial, it's extremely difficult to move the item back to its original place with only crude gears.
The designing of the inner working of moving the dials with iron clouds burned most of my brain cells, but it is worth it. Now I can have a vehicle at the press of a button.
"I would easily use Jet board or Ski to move," Wyper scoffed at it.
"But how do you know whether the Milky dial will work in the blue sea?" I retorted back. I know Nami produced a milky road in Punk Hazard, but I'm not taking any chances.
"I don't even know if Eisen cloud will work in the blue sea but its density is higher than milky dial so I will take a chance with it," I stated furrowing.
"If only I have proper materials, then I can make it further smaller," I sighed, looking at the machine; the size of a suitcase, for only producing a waver.
I get a headache just thinking about the size of it if I want to produce a bike, plane, or car.
"I can only adjust it after I reach the blue sea," I muttered, thinking about it.
"It's time for me to return to Upper Yard," I informed them, as they already know.
"Just wait for my instruction so we can stop the war without any casualties," I promised, taking the packed bag and leaving behind the Transponder Snail. And started the machine..., No portable vehicle, transforming it to waver then drove it away towards the Upper Yard.
