So, this idea has been bouncing around in my head for a while, and I finally decided to sit down and write it. Naruto x Star Wars, set during the Clone Wars era—how could I resist?

Chapter 1: The Fox Lord

Jedi Temple, Coruscant

The Jedi Temple stood in its serene grandeur, its spires piercing the orange hues of Coruscant's morning skyline. But the tranquility outside was betrayed by the buzz inside. Anakin Skywalker leaned against the marble wall of the Council chambers, his arms crossed, his blue eyes scanning the data pad handed to him by Obi-Wan Kenobi.

"You look distracted, Anakin," Obi-Wan remarked, his tone a mixture of curiosity and exasperation.

Anakin frowned, reading the report again. Jabba the Hutt... dead? The infamous crime lord, a scourge of the Outer Rim, had been overthrown. But what truly drew his attention was the mention of the mysterious new figure ruling Tatooine. The locals called him "the Fox Lord."

"How could this happen? Jabba had an entire cartel at his disposal, and other Hutts are silent about this ?" Anakin said, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Obi-Wan stroked his beard thoughtfully. "We've seen power vacuums create opportunities before. What intrigues me is the speed of this rise. This Fox Lord seems to have some sort of control over that area, we aren't sure how this came to be as you know news from there hardly reaches here."

Anakin tried to focus, but his thoughts kept drifting elsewhere—toward his mother. He hadn't seen Shmi Skywalker since he left for the Jedi Temple as a child. Jedi training had forbidden attachments, yet he couldn't shake the hollow ache in his chest. Tatooine. Just the mention of his homeworld stirred memories of blistering suns, coarse sand, and his mother's gentle hands.

"Anakin," Obi-Wan's voice pulled him back. "We may need to investigate this. The Council is deliberating whether to send someone to Tatooine to ensure this new ruler doesn't disrupt the Republic's tenuous balance in the Outer Rim. We are at war already. We have may to make sure this third party doesn't interfere or worse, involve Hutts into this war."

He nodded distractedly. His thoughts spiraled. 'Is mom okay? What if she's still there? What if she's suffering from this change?'

Senatorial Quarters, Coruscant

The holotable in Padmé Amidala's quarters cast a soft blue glow as she reviewed the latest intelligence on Tatooine. The image of a fox-faced mask with sharp, crimson markings floated above the display—a crude rendering of the mysterious Fox Lord.

"Abolish slavery and Unite the planet under one banner," Padmé murmured, reading aloud from the report. "And at such speed?"

The idea was almost laughable. Tatooine was a land of chaos, lawlessness, and opportunism. Yet, in just a year and a half, this unknown figure had consolidated power in ways even the Republic had failed to manage. Who was he? she wondered.

Bail Organa's voice echoed in her memory: This is either a threat... or an opportunity.

Her mind raced. She considered the possibilities. Could this Fox Lord be an ally in the Senate's efforts to stabilize the Outer Rim? Or would his ambitions align more with those of the Separatists?

No, Padmé decided. From the reports she'd read, this man wasn't politically motivated. He seemed almost disinterested in the larger galactic conflict. His focus was local—protecting his new territory, instilling order.

"I need more information," she resolved, tapping a message to Bail. "Perhaps a diplomatic envoy..."

Her thoughts wandered to Anakin. She knew how the mention of Tatooine affected him. He would never admit it, but she saw the pain in his eyes every time his homeworld was brought up. And now, with this Fox Lord disrupting the status quo, Anakin's connection to Tatooine might complicate matters.

Tatooine, Outer Rim

The twin suns of Tatooine bore down on the city of Mos Espa. Naruto Uzumaki sat cross-legged on the balcony of his stronghold, the wind carrying the scent of sand and spice. His eyes, blue like the sky, watched over the bustling streets below.

He hadn't always been this. He barely remembered who he used to be. His memories of another life—another world—came in flashes: a village in the shadows of mountains, faces blurred and voices distant. But his body remembered. His reflexes, his strength—they were undeniable.

Shmi Skywalker had saved him. When she'd found him half-dead in the desert storm, she'd taken him in, nursed him back to health. She treated him like a son, though she spoke often of the boy she'd lost to the Jedi. He still wondered if that boy ever felt regret leaving his mother here and neve contacting or coming to see her again.

Her kindness, her resilience—it reminded him of someone. Kaa-chan, the word whispered in his mind like a phantom. For all purpose Shmi was his mother he didn't even know if the memories and flashes in head were true at all. But they had to be true as those memory flashes had shown him how to use power deep hidden inside him, showed him techniques that he should know.

The door to the balcony creaked open, and Shmi stepped out, a light scarf draped over her head to shield her from the sun.

"You've made quite the name for yourself, Naruto," she said with a warm smile.

"Fox Lord, huh?" Naruto chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "Guess it's better than 'the blond boy who beat Jabba.'"

Shmi laughed softly, but there was concern in her eyes. "The Republic will notice. They might not like someone rising so quickly out here."

Naruto's expression turned serious. "I'm not worried about them. This planet needed order, and that's what I've given it. The gangs, the slavery—it had to stop."

Shmi nodded, her heart swelling with pride despite her fears. "Just be careful, Naruto."

He smiled at her, but there was a shadow behind his gaze. The feeling that he was meant for something more lingered, just out of reach. For now, though, Shmi and Tatooine was his world, and he would protect it.

TBC.
