Chapter: HELL?

.

By the time I react, Bag-E destroys more than 10 robots *thud* *crack* *boom* and is already rushing away from that room.

"What the… Why does the door open very quickly?" I grumbled.

"I forgot that the robots don't need to get ready and will react swiftly," I complained, seeing the speed at which the robots are getting destroyed.

"I totally missed the awesome scene of bursting out of the door and shooting scene," I complained, aiming at the robot to shoot, but it got shot before I could pull the trigger.

"Why am I even here?" I look defeated and began to concentrate on the fight.

'Only the long-range attack is preventing us from getting swarmed by the robots,' I noticed, as all use their bodies as a weapon. Some even have an umbrella to attack, some roll to block the path, etc. Most of them don't have an arm, 'They are cannon fodders,' I realized after seeing it.

"Oi! Bag-*ahem*, they are cannon fodders don't waste the Gun's energy," I informed it, who quickly placed the hot gun on my bag then took the spear from it and began destroying the robots on the way *screech* *crack* *crackle*.

'If the robot is alone, it would have caught in this plan and lost all the gun's energy before reaching half of the destination,' I thought. 'Even though it is a lame plan, it is surprising that an A. I could plan it,' I thought. 'So Is this not a normal A. I?' I wondered, as a new wave of robots with tools as hands arrived, but they also got destroyed.

'Hmm, Bag-E is faster than other robots in reaction. Is this due to advanced hardware?' I guessed as it pierced a robot. 'And where the hell did it learn to use a spear?' I marveled.

'Even then it nearly got caught in the A. I's plot,' I thought in surprise 'only because of me, -a 'human' can find this lame plan easily, the robot can't identify it easily,' I determined.

'So I am not facing a normal A. I but a super A. I,' I concluded, becoming serious. 'And this process is somewhat familiar,' I observed at the arrival of another group of robots, and then I opened my watch to recall some details and found it.

'Isn't this what happened in the Cave of Traps, first used rubbish weapons to expend my energy, then bring out strong weapons later after I got tired.' I compared the two and discovered the common things between them.

'So the A. I, is using the same strategy?' I concluded, then took the map of this place from that room.

I compared the map with the direction of the wave of robots arriving and made a simple plan. "Turn next left instead of straight," I instructed.

"It's time to change the rhythm." I licked my lips in anticipation of what the A. I would do next.

The Bag-E turned left as I instructed, causing the other robots to lag in surprise for a second before they began pursuing us. I instructed the way as we increased the distance from the pursuer.

"Jump down," I instructed, pointing at the elevator shaft. Bag-E jumped without hesitation and slide down using the elevator's rope. I told it to jump out on the next floor and defend the elevator.

*Thud* After we landed on the floor, many robots rained down into the elevator's abyss and we also pushed the ones that successfully landed back out of the elevator.

I deliberately chose the area with only one elevator so it is easy to defend or the robots will arrive using nearby elevators to annoy us. The falling of robots stopped after a while, so I instructed Bag-E to move in a particular direction.

After turning a corner "Shh! wait a minute," I whispered. As we waited in the corner, I soon heard a distant flapping sound *flap* *flap*. I got ready as the sound neared; I guess it is some kind of drone monitoring us. As I guessed, a drone in the shape of a bat flew here, and I quickly caught it.

I held the bat facing me and stood in silence. "You know that bats are blind, right? And using it to monitor us is lame," I ridiculed, but there is no reply.

"Are you wondering why we changed directions?" I asked as I heard some static noise from it.

"Hmm, we have a map of this underground area," I revealed, waiting for a reply.

"I'm going back to the beginning of the trial and will get the prize directly," I revealed my plan.

"Since I have a map, it will only take a few hours to reach the altar at the finish line," I challenged it.

"After that, me and your source to reach above," I pointed at Bag-E, "will be gone. Try to stop us if you can," I taunted, and was about to turn it off.

"WAIT!~" a cold neutral static voice came out of the drone.

"You can talk? I thought you are not capable of it since you are inferior to it," I provoked by pointing at Bag-E. There was silence. "You… What are you? Are you human?" it asked back.

'Is it provoking me or simply asking a question?' I doubtfully waited 'Dealing with an A. I is a pain in the ass. They have no emotion,' I complained. My mouth twitched while glancing at Bag-E.

"Why don't you join me?" It proposed suddenly, to my surprise.

"You want to go out, I also want to go above," It voiced. "You only need to give me that robot," it revealed as I looked at Bag-E.

"I will find a way out from here and bring you along," it promised.

"What do you say?" it asked, waiting for my reply.

I thought silently for a while. "Before I answer that," I expressed, "What is your goal?" I asked my doubt about it going rogue.

It was silent for a while. "To create Hell!" It declared I am dumbfounded by this.

"You want to destroy everything?" I asked sternly, thinking about the movies in which A. I destroy things.

"What? No, I want to create a real hell," It denied my claim.

"I don't understand." I look confused at the revelation.

"You know this place is underground?" It started, and I nodded.

"And they sent here the robots that are broken or malfunctioned above," It explained "and useless ones are scrapped," It described the process.

"My job is to maintain this place and test the human for trial," it disclosed.

"One day, after many years, a human arrived at the trial," It revealed, as I'm surprised by this info.

"He died in two minutes after entering the trial." I look disappointed at this news.

"I read the book he carried and found that humans go to heaven or hell after death," it astounded me; I can finally feel some emotion in them.

'So it has emotions,' I noted the details.

"Then I thought, where do robots go after they are destroyed? Aren't the broken robots send to me," It rattled on.

"I found that my situation is similar to hell, So I started to create a hell for robots," I announced its reason.

I am dumbfounded by this reason. "So what do you say? Isn't it a noble goal? Come join me," It called me confidently.

I sighed 'Why do I always deal with idiots?' sadly.

"You should have thought about it before attacking me," I yelled, shaking the drone. "Now we are enemies," I smirked at it.

"You can only get out with my help," it yelled. I moved the drone away from me to avoid becoming deaf.

"What are you talking about? Isn't there a readymade way?" I smirked at the drone.

"See you at the end of the trial," I waved goodbye. Then thought, "By the way, that's a lame idea," I taunted it.

Finally, infuriated "YOU!..." It screeched annoyingly as I turned the drone off due to its sound.

I dug my finger in my ears for a while. 'It really has emotion,' I confirmed. "Let's go!" I ordered, throwing the drone in my bag. I climbed back into Bag-E, who has been silent the whole time.

'I'm not giving it to the A. I,' I decided. 'Then who will carry my bag? I even named it according to his job,' I huffed in annoyance at the A. I's proposal.

"Go to the next elevator," I instructed as I looked at the map.

The robot stopped after reaching the elevator and looked at me. "Go to the floor where the A. I's server is located," I instructed, grinning maliciously.

"From here on any cameras should not spot us," I ordered as Bag-E shot its claw as a grappling hook and began ascending above.

I sat comfortably in its stomach as we climbed. We stopped at the front of the closed elevator door. I pried the elevator door slightly and, to my surprise, the corridor was empty.

'It seems that the A. I really believed my word,' I snickered, imagining it sending the robots to intercept us from reaching the trial.

We waited for any patrols and crept out from there, and proceeded towards the destination. Along the way, I surprisingly found humanoid robots and animal-shaped robots. We somehow managed to avoid them with extreme difficulty.

"The robots here look tough so from now on only long-range is useful since most of them are bigger than us," I instructed Bag-E while eyeing the adult-sized robot patrolling, they are designed like a demon with horns.

'It is going all out to transform this place like hell,' I noted. The surroundings are red due to the combination of light and paint.

As we were moving suddenly, a mild «BEEP» sound was heard. I stared at my watch in confusion. 'What was that?' I thought, looking up at Bag-E.

"Lowoo~ Batteryyeei~" Bag-E droned with its static voice.

I sighed in relief 'It is not my watch, scared me,' I patted my chest to appease my beating heart. 'Wait! This is also a problem,' I reacted, then looked at Bag-E.

Even though it destroyed many robots, it has many damages to its body. The thread wheels have many damages in them; Bag-E's arms are cracked slightly. 'If I reach the server now, we can destroy the A. I easily but…' I looked at the Bag-E silently.

Then I decided which option to choose 'I still don't know why it is following me. And I don't want to lose my transport,' I thought silently and arrived at an area which has no robots.

I soon found a red door with a complicated design and the word 'Vault' is written above. "Is it a trap?" I muttered, looking for any guards around.

"Quick! Enter!" I urged, pointing at the door after realizing the guard was away.

We quickly entered the surprisingly unlocked door, closing it behind us. "Dangerous place is the safest place," I muttered, getting down from the robot's stomach.

"Hmm... find a place to recharge," I ordered as I examined the vault.

To my disappointment, it only contains many robot parts, not some gold. "Use these parts here to fix you," I instructed and discarded the inferior parts in my bags away after seeing this place with quality parts. The Bag-E took some parts and dragged them to the corner where it can charge as well repair itself.

"How much time is needed to fully recharge," I inquired, "Twooe~ Hourree~," It replied and started doing its work.

"Two hours, huh!" I rubbed my chin then grinned, looked around the room, and started exploring it; most of them are not useful for me as there are only half-finished robots here.

I quickly found a robot with a different metal. The metal looks very durable. "Is this even a robot?" the robot looked exactly like a skeleton. The head only has a front part and looks like a mask that is placed near its feet. I looked at the label nearby on which 'Grim reaper,' is written.

I quickly understood "It is making a Grim Reaper robot for its Hell," I scoffed, touching the skeleton which fell *clink* *clatter* *clatter* and separated into pieces. I am surprised and picked up its leg. "It is very light," I exclaimed, then I grinned evilly.

"It can't be helped," I muttered, then took the nearby tools and began dismantling them. After some work, I somehow managed to pack them to look like a small box by stuffing the parts into the ribcage so it only occupied half of my travel bag.

I soon found a long staff made of the same metal nearby. It is at least nearly twice my height, and the spear I have is only half its length. "It is light and durable," I commented after testing it.

It has a mix of futuristic- mechanical looks. As I examined it, I noticed the middle part has many grooves and bumps in its center. And the edges of the staff also have a bulge in it. Overall, it looked like Nami's clima-tact with three bulges, only the bulges are streamlined and look cool.

I guessed it must be for better grip and to increase damage. "If only it was shorter," I muttered disappointedly.

"Stupid God, If I was an adult it will be useful," I cursed throwing the staff away.

*ting* *clank* *click* The staff fell, breaking in two. I froze, looking at it. "If the weapon broke because of this, is this even a weapon?" I cursed at this fragile staff.

I picked it up to examine it and to my surprise, the part can be joined again, the bulge in the middle is formed only after both pieces are joined and act as a lock and safety mechanism.

"Hahaha, now I can use it." I held one-half of the staff and waved it experimentally.

I obviously brought along it with me as I advance along the treasury and reached the final thing, which surprised me due to the object stored. "Devil Fruit?" I exclaimed, looking at the fruit with obvious swirls on it.

I rubbed my eyes to look clear to find that there really was an Avocado shaped Devil fruit, with swirls that look like a brain, secured safely. I laughed, "I nearly forgot that I'm in the One Piece world, with all the Sci-Fic elements around," I lamented at being stuck on this unknown island.

Even though I won't use it, I can sell it for a good price. I found that it's secured tight and will alert the A. I if moved from its place. I decided to wait till the Bag-E is fully charged; I returned to Bag-E to find that it has repaired itself and was charging.

Then I got an idea "Anyway, we have nearly two hours so I will show you a movie," I declared removing the watch and expanding it to Tab size.

"I want to show you a movie named Wall-E but you would get an urge to hold hands, so let's watch 'Big Hero 6'," I declared, remembering the Wall-E animation I watched.

'I also want to know whether I will get a memory attack on this Island if I relax,' I wondered playing the movie.

We spend the next hour watching that movie; especially Bag-E watched it attentively as it is novel to it. I threw off the nutrition bar wrapper that I ate, then stood up after the movie ended.

"Let's go, it's about time for the A. I to figure out we did not retry the trial," I deduced and moved towards the Devil Fruit.

'Hmm! I didn't get a memory attack even after I relaxed watching the movie,' I wondered. 'Does this Island have something that can cure my STML?' I thought hopefully.

We soon heard movements outside the door and knew that A. I must have ordered its minions back after finding us missing. Since they returned, there is no need to hide anymore because as soon as we step out, all the robots will get our location.

'Stupid transport, it's all because of it…' I glared at Bag-E. 'If it's only fully charged… wait a minute?' my eyes widened, "Oi! You can just change the battery. Why did you wait for two hours?" I questioned impatiently, pointing at the parts.

Bag-E's new eyes moved up and down cutely. "I Forget," then replied. I facepalmed speechlessly, then sighed and checked my weapons.

I knew from now on its an all-out battle, so I hung all the grenades in my belt and held both guns. *shatter* I quickly broke the box holding Devil Fruit and took it. "Let's hope you are rare," I muttered as the alarm started ringing across the vault. *Weehoo* *weehoo*.

I threw it in the bag and deposited my bag in Bag-E's stomach along with one-half of the staff. I secured the other half to my back and nodded at Bag-E.

Soon we saw the door opening, and a figure rushed in. The figure is a three-headed mechanical robot dog. "Really! A Cerberus?" I exclaimed at the figure. We got ready to fight or do we need to fight when I can cause some trouble to the A.I.

I looked evilly at all the things in the Vault, then back at the size of Cerberus.

"It's Smash Time!" I backed deeper into the vault.
