This is a short ficlet that takes place between S2 and S3 of "Peter Gunn". It may give possible insight into what might have caused the changes that took place between the two seasons. The story was written as part of the Writers Anonymous Special Places Challenge. *Currently being re-written as an extended fic to be posted when complete.

Edie's girlfriends surprise her with a baby shower a couple of months prior to the birth of her and Pete's first child. This is a short multi-part story that features most of the original characters of "Peter Gunn" as well as a number of originals. No crime or drama in this one, just humor, family and romance.

Pete and Edie finally get a weekend to themselves and then the unexpected

This is an expanded scene from "The Kill" (S1 EP1). Oftentimes we wonder what else might be happening between or during the scenes we see on-screen or what might be going through the minds of the characters. That's where our imagination takes over. This story includes some narration from Pete's point of view because the original episode included such.

This is just a piece of fluff involving Peter Gunn and Edie Hart. The plot is briefly referenced in my story "A Lifetime in Eight Days".

Set after the 2nd season episode Sentenced, Peter Gunn proves his conviction of murder/robbery was a set up but living with the aftermath could prove to be much harder.

This is a challenge story based on "The Briefcase" (Season 2, Episode 12). Edie's dander is raised by a revelation at the end of the episode. This is one way that loose end might be tied up.

A challenge to the episode The Briefcase that asks the question, What was she doing in your bedroom?

Pete once told his dad that he and Edie knew where they belonged, knew where they were going and would know when they got there. They've finally arrived at that place in their own way and time. This story takes place near the end of Season 3 between "Deadly Intrusion" (S3 EP35) and "Voodoo" (S3 EP36) and features all the regular characters and a few originals.

It's Christmas 1961 and Pete and Edie are expecting their first child. Surprise visitors make the season extra special while at the same time a strange case that lands on Lieutenant Jacoby's desk livens things up. •• This story was written as a collaboration between melchy and blackangus.
