Chapter: A Skeleton? Oni? EyeSocket?

I woke up to feel my heavy head, and surprisingly remember everything due to being in an excited state. All the blood in my body is pumped because of the intake of high oxygen.
"What *gasp* happened? *huff*" I slurred in dizziness. I slowly recalled the things, and my vision swayed. I rubbed my eyes and stood up with difficulty.
'I know Lunarians have strong endurance, so I will get used to it,' I sighed, scanning the surroundings vigilantly.
The swaying I felt is not only because of dizziness but also due to being on the ship. I become vigilant, searching around for any living beings.
I found myself on an abandoned ship, and the ship itself is fairly advanced, with many parts made of metal.
I somehow feel it familiar but I don't know why. *huff* *huff* I staggered, dragging my bags towards the door to the cabin. I pushed the door, and *click* *thud* it fell down, breaking off the hinges. If my guess is right, then this ship has to be abandoned within five years.
I dropped the bags in a room nearby after confirming that there was no living being. *step* *step* *creak* I ambled deep into the corridor. My body somewhat got used to the rich oxygen content, except for the stuffy chest and heavy head. I didn't feel like being on drugs anymore.
I noticed traces of fight all over the ship's bullet marks, sword slashes, fire marks, etc. 'Pirates must have raided this ship,' I deduced, arriving in front of the Captain's cabin.
This place is also similar to every place on the ship, door ajar, things littering the ground, broken furniture, etc. My sensitive nose caught a whiff of mold and rust smell, which can be smelled from all over the ship.
*creak* *click* *crush* I step on the things scattered on the floor and spotted a surprisingly intact desk in the room. To my disappointment, it only contained torn moldy papers, destroyed things, broken Log Pose, etc.
"Where is Captain's Log? There must be hidden safe here," I concluded and searched around the table and its drawers without giving up.
I soon found a fake bottom in one drawer; I opened it to find a tattered book and an Eternal Pose. The Eternal Pose is marked as Karakuri Island.
"Oh! Isn't that Vegapunk's birthplace," I muttered, then opened the tattered book.
This book is a logbook of this ship's captain; I continued to read and understand the ship's directive. This ship is one of the advanced ships built by the scientific research team of the world government. It has some facilities where even some small research can be done onboard.
They mostly anchored this ship in Punk Hazard and used to take scientists, weapons, 'volunteers', etc., to and from the island.
"Volunteers? Mostly kidnapped test subject," I scoffed.
The last log mentioned bringing a scientist to Karakuri Island with his research, so they climbed the Red Line and reached Paradise.
"It doesn't mention anything about the attack," I muttered, turning the pages.
"Maybe the captain died in the attack," I concluded, seeing the last entry is on 1508. I took the book and Eternal Pose turning to get my bags.
Suddenly my eyes darkened, and I nearly fell due to intense pain from my stomach, *ugh* I grunted at the pain… no… hunger?.
"Why I'm feeling hungry?" I groaned and popped the last Food Pill in my mouth, which filled my stomach, relieving the pain.
I deduced it was because of excess oxygen intake, my body started to become overloaded with a burst of energy, and I felt like a shackle has been lifted from my body.
I can feel the blood flowing and invigorating my body. "So the low oxygen in Skypiea has stunned my growth?" I concluded as I felt the food in my stomach, digested quickly and send nutrients throughout my body strengthening it.
"I guess it is fine. I don't want to be abnormally large like Kaido or King," I muttered as my body absorbed the nutrients like a sponge and I feel hungry again. *tap* *tap* *tap* I rushed along the corridor, towards the canteen, following the map on the wall, not wanting to feel the pain again. Duh! this is a scientific ship. They must have a way to preserve food.
*crash* *thud* *scatter* I searched the area and found some canned foods, I began to devour its contents, *click* *bite* *ting* *slurp* *gulp* *crack* *tang* one can… three can, five can… ten can are emptied and thrown away. *Burp* Then I went into a food coma, losing consciousness.
I woke up as my colorful Iris scanned the surroundings vigilantly. 'Where Am I?' I surveyed the area holding one of the staff expertly and spotted the empty tin cans scattered around. I relaxed after finding that I'm alone and found the book and the eternal Pose nearby.
I read the book again to know the situation, not noticing my dress has become tight and short. My eyes shone with greed after reading about the scientist being sent to hide inside the vault. I quickly rushed toward the direction mentioned, ignoring the blinking watch.
I slowed down seeing the dark corridor. 'Is this a ghost ship?' I gulped nervously before rushing forward, determined...er- greedily. If I turned to see my reflection in one of the glasses, I will find that my iris was dominated by orange color.
When I rushed out, I found two of my bags lying near the exit. I approached it cautiously and opened one bag to find clothes, food, etc. I pushed it aside, opening the other bag and my eyes turned to the 'Beli' sign after spotting gold in it.
"Ah! Gold!" I squealed happily, hugging the bag.
"It's mine, I'm rich," I picked it up, bringing it along with me to the vault.
I went down the deck of the ship, breaking some doors, stairs, handrails, etc., on my way due to my newfound strength, which I didn't notice. I reached the lower floor reaching the vault at last, to my disappointment it's already been busted open.
"NNOOooo! My money," I wailed with tears in my eyes, and then entered the vault, sighing sadly.
"Kyaaaaaahhh!" I let out a girlish cry after seeing a skeleton in it. I rushed out of the vault in fear, panting in fright. After calming down, I gave in to my urge and operated the watch, and read the 'Reminder Note'.

"Oh! This is One Piece world!" I muttered in realization. "But where is the island? This is obviously a ship!" I scratched my head in confusion.
"Why did I rush here after reading about vault?" I wondered, but the hand didn't relax its hold on my bag.
"Why did I scream like a girl?" I thought muddled.
I entered the vault once again and searched around to find another book from the skeleton's bag. It is more tattered than the previous book. This book is a research note. I also noticed that the skeleton was wearing a white lab coat.
"This must be the scientist mentioned in the Caption's Log Book," I deduced and began reading the book. My eyes widened as I continued to read the notes and my breathing became laborious. Despite the note being ineligible and bloody, I pieced together the horrifying details.
This scientist is part of M.A.D.S…, well, assistant's assistant, even though he is not talented; he was persistent and slowly accumulated knowledge. When they found 'Blueprint of Life' or whatever, he was excited and thought that it can be used in other ways.
His thought process is in line with Vinsmoke Judge in his use of clones, but he thought of combining the genes of many species to create a strong one. I'm totally shocked reading here. 'So? is he the person who created my body?' I squinted at the skeleton in doubt.
I continued to read, then he started experimenting with combining genes of human-merman, human-mink, mink-merman, and all the experiments failed due to them being not able to adapt or being weak.
Then he suddenly recalled the test subjects Lunarian and Oni that escaped from Punk Hazard. The M.A.D.S has been disbanded by the Government by this time, so he proposed his idea and got the sample of both species, promising to give the result to them if it is successful.
Then he began another round of experiments with these five genes and even Vegapunk took part in the experiment as a guide to perfect the experiment. They finally succeeded at last on November 13, 1507. Instead of relying on cloning technology, it is surrogated and birthed by a female human, but she didn't survive the process.
"What are the chances that I found this ship as soon as I reached the blue sea?" I lamented. I looked at the skeleton complicatedly after discovering he was the creator of my body after comparing the date with my age.
"I also have Oni's gene?" I reacted.
"Will I grow horns? I already look like a Devil. If I grew horns, I will completely look like one," I grumbled, continuing to read.
It is mentioned that the baby grew fine physically but has problems mentally. 'Who are you calling Mental?' I seethed, glaring at the skeleton, completely excluding STML.
So they planned to send it to Kamakiri Island for further observation or convert it to a Cyborg if there was no improvement.
"Whaattt!?" I can't believe my eyes after reading it.
"Convert me into a Cyborg? You are in debt with 300% interest a day," I cursed at the skeleton.
"I will get it from Vegapunk," I decide, gritting angrily.
On their way there, they got attacked by Pirates after reaching Paradise. So he hid in the vault while hiding the baby in a strong box made of Adam Wood, providing a way to breathe. The pirates killed everyone, damaged the rudder, and looted everything, including the lifeboats, but left the canned foods...? Or they don't know what they are?
They found the vault he hid and opened it easily with Captain's key and took the box containing the baby after injuring him. He despaired but he can't do anything as they took the result of his lifelong experiment.
After they left, he found out everyone was dead, and he was floating in the Grand line on a ship with a broken Rudder and no way to communicate. He discarded the dead bodies into the sea but his wounds got festered due to lack of medicine and he died at last because of it.
*sigh* What are the chances? I boarded 'this' ship as soon as I reach the Blue Sea," I lamented, glaring at the non-existent God. I closed the book and tucked it into my belt temporarily. I dropped my precious bag, along with the Eternal Pose and both halves of the staff.
I reached for the skeleton. "I don't care about your reason for making this body, But I thank you and will give you a proper burial," I muttered to the skeleton.
Then I picked it up carefully, exiting the vault. Unbeknownst to me, the door of the vault closed behind me automatically, sealing my things inside it.
Without knowing it, my precious gold got locked; I reached the deck of the ship, then picked up the broken door and placed the skeleton over it. Then I found my backpack wearing it and carried another bag with my tail reaching the deck. I placed a small amount of food reluctantly on the door.
Then I lowered the door along with the skeleton into the dark sea. "When will be the sunrise?" I wondered, looking at the dark foggy sea. I lowered myself before hiding one earpiece in the ship to act as a tracking device if I accidentally drifted away.
I climbed down the ship's side, arriving just above the sea surface. I held the ship in one hand, extending the other towards the floating door. *snap* *whoosh* I snapped my finger to create a flame, but I didn't expect the flame to be so big enveloping the door in it.
"Gaaa!" I cried in surprise as the door drifted away. I forget to take the rich oxygen content into account.
I watched as the door drifted away, burning. "Um… That was… unexpected," I mumbled as I silently watched the fire in the distance.
«BZZT» my watch vibrated as my eye color returned to normal.
"Whoa! Where Am I?" I exclaimed after finding myself hanging on the side of a ship. I soon spotted a small light flickering in the distance.
I blinked doubtfully, spotting the light. "Do I need to reach it?" I wondered as I watched the dark sea below.
I somehow felt my heart pound as I stared at the dark, unknown sea. I narrowed my eyes in challenge. "Do you think I won't dare?" I smirked as my blood boiled to challenge the unknown.
I kicked the side of the ship, boosting me to jump into the sea *splash*. I struggled at the beginning to swim in high-density water, but my renewed strength compensated for my struggle, so I quickly got used to swimming.
I look down at the bottom of the sea, which is very silent and empty; I haven't even caught sight of a fish in this water. "Do fish rest at night?" I wondered.
*swish* as I prepared to return to the ship, I got caught in a strong underwater current that swept me away from the ship containing my precious things and my awesome weapon.
'Oh! No!' I cursed and exerted myself to get out of the current. I quickly swam to the surface and searched for my ship looking around in this foggy sea. Soon I spotted a silhouette of a ship in the distance and sighed in relief.
"I thought I got lost," I breathed, despite not knowing the details of the ship I jumped from. I swam towards the ship and climbed the rope net dropped from its side, dragging my bag held by my tail.
"I don't even know what place this is. The last thing I remember is preparing for my *mumble* *mumble* *mumble*," I mumbled in confusion and reached the top.
I looked up, only to stare directly into the eye socket of a skeleton. I blinked as I saw the familiar afro skeleton looking down from above.
My brain crashed, and then a scream leaked out of my mouth "AAaaaaaahhhHHH!" I screamed, the skeleton got startled, and "GyaaaaaaAAA!" screamed along.
