«Logbook Entry-1854 - Year: 1511 - Mid-august»
» It's been a week since I arrived at Blue sea. There are many changes in my body, physically as well as mentally. I rested for two days straight without any disturbance as soon as I lay down.
» I have trouble breathing in the beginning due to the sudden increase in oxygen content and my body reacted to it differently. I had a sudden spike in my strength and height; yeah I have also grown taller.
» Now I'm nearly 3 feet in height at 2'11' or 2'10'. I wondered earlier why I'm short despite having many genes in me. It turns out the low oxygen in the sky stunned my growth, but I'm alright with it since I don't want to be abnormal height.
» My height is already weird at my age. Due to that, my dress doesn't fit me. On top of that, I broke things around or tore clothes due to the sudden increase in strength. I took time to get used to my new feelings.
» The main problem is my memory loss. The attack rate frequency returned to normal since I left that Mysterious island. On top of memory loss, I now have a new personality mix.
» I found the video in 'Top Secret' showing the things that happened at some altar. It showed some colorful figures standing around before a tiny part of them slipped into my body. If my guess of the owner of the figure is correct, then I will have some of their personality after some memory attack.
» I so wish I won't get personality shifts like a directional idiot, greedy for money, skull jokes, cowardly, etc. But according to the previous log, my wish is futile since I already had some of their personality.
» It is not like I will totally act like them, but I will slightly get influenced by it. For e.g., if I get Sanji's personality, I won't get heart-eye if I look at ladies but get it if I saw the things I like.
» And Brook is good, he looks scary in real life, and he is not vigilant to me and acts as if he knows me for a long time. It is also probably due to the happening on the altar on that Island since I have a small part of his aura mixed in me.
» I gave one of those pendants I picked from the altar to Brook to act as an identity as my friend. Since I have some connection to it, I will calm down easily after seeing it even after the memory attack. That's how Brook calms me down after I nearly broke his head off, which is also one of the reasons the pendant acts as an identity.
» I dismantled a robot arm that was in my bag and modified its forearm as a box to store the remaining 19 pendants in it. Since it only had a claw and grappling hook mechanism, it was easy. I tie that box horizontally over my belt on my back just above the tail. The spider-silk grappling mechanism is stored for another use.
» I can't even swim properly in this 'heavy' water due to sudden change in density; on top of that, nothing is living in this silent Florian Triangle so I can't rely on fish to feed myself.
» As for learning sword skills from Brook…-
.
"Gaa! It's boring," I cried, closing the watch, then found Brook lying down with his mouth open after looking around.
"Yo!, Brook, it's boring," I whined, falling on my back. My bored red-dominated iris looked at Brook's laying form after not getting any reply.
"Oi! I'm talking to you," I called again. "Sing something Brook," I demanded. Even though there are many songs stored on the watch, hearing them live is totally different.
"A perso... Er- kid is shouting here you are sleeping happily," I shouted, stomping towards him angrily and nudging him with my toes, but I got no reaction from him.
"Oi! Br-rook," I sat him up by his collar. "Wake up! Did you die?" I shook him as his skull swayed along with my movement.
"I'm going to throw you into the sea if you don't wake up," I threatened after not receiving any response. I began to panic, that he died and changed the Canon because of me being here.
"Yohohoho! that is very cruel of you, Grim-san," Brook's voice sounded so I relaxed then Brook in his soul form floated, returning into his body.
"Where did you go?" I growled angrily, shaking him.
"Iii weentt ttoo sccoutt ffor anny shiipss," Brook stammered due to shaking.
"Grim-san, please stop shaking. I can feel my brain rattling. Ah! But I don't have a brain, yohohoho!" He pleaded happily after I stopped shaking.
"Where is the food?" I demanded as he became serious.
"Grim-san, you just ate fifteen minutes ago," Brook pointed out.
"But I'm hungry," I whined, falling on my back and rolling on the floor childishly.
"That's why I kept it safely away from you, so you won't finish it in one go," Brook rejected again.
"But I won't finish it," I pouted, folding my arms in a huff.
"That's what you said earlier and ate one day's ration," Brook yelled in disbelief.
"But… but…" I stuttered. "Grim-san, forgive me, but I need to ration it since there are no fish in this sea," Brook stated.
"Otherwise you will get hungry after half a month," Brook replied, excluding himself.
I sighed before looking at Brook with puppy eyes, but it did not affect Brook. "Yohoho! Grim-san, only now you act to your age," he laughed, looking happy.
"Well…" I rubbed my head in embarrassment. 'It's because I died and reincarnated,' I thought mentally. 'Only because of an idiot's personality. I act like that, blame it on him,' I gritted angrily.
Brook is looking at me with jaws open. "Y-you… you-u died and reincarnated?" he stuttered, pointing at me.
"WHAT!? Did I say it loud?" I shouted in panic. "I can't believe my ears even though I don't have one," Brook muttered without 'yohoho-ing' indicating his seriousness.
"No, I didn't say anything. You must be hallucinating *whistle* *whistle*," I replied, sweating a lot with my mouth pouting sideways - Luffy's lying face.
Brook looked blankly. "Grim-san, even though I don't have an eye, I can clearly see you are lying," he pointed out.
"Shit!" I cursed 'I'm definitely moving Luffy's personality to the top of the danger list followed by Zoro's. I thought being directionless is dangerous, but blurting out the truth and being unable to lie is even more dangerous.' I cursed Luffy.
I looked at Brook's waiting form and sighed, then told him all about how I died and reincarnated into this body. I expected him to freak out, but silently stared at me.
"Yohohoho! What a surprise? I also died and was reborn." Brook laughed as I blankly stared at him.
"Brook, it is not funny, don't you feel it is… freaky?" I question him sternly, "Mystery?" I added. He stopped laughing and looked at me.
"Isn't it unnatural, and don't you feel I stole someone's life?" I asked about my feelings and insecurities even though I don't care about them.
"Grim-san, this is Grand Line. You should throw away the common sense to enter it," Brook pointed out. "Do you think? I would have thought of becoming a skeleton when I entered the Grand Line. No one can predict anything here," Brook comforted me.
"And is it your fault you are in this body?" Brook asked as I shook my head in denial.
"It is the God… Er- a being that sent me here," I stated, bristling.
"See, it is not your fault," Brook replied "And I know you are not a normal kid when I first met you… if it was a normal kid he would have run in the opposite direction as soon as he saw me," Brook stated pointing at his boney figure.
I smirked 'There is one straw hat-wearing kid who won't run away,' I thought, then nodded.
"Yeah! I also want to kick God's ass for giving me lame memory," I pouted in anger.
We sat in silence as Brook started to hum something, looking happy, "Grim-san, what about repairing your vehicle?" Brook asked after a while.
"Bah! Not interested" I stuck my tongue out, uncaring with my pinky in my nose.
"What do you mean 'Not Interested'?" Brook shouted as a cat stepped on his tail. "If you don't repair it, how will you get out of here?" he demanded angrily.
"Besides, the food won't last long," he pointed out as I nodded. 'I also want to repair it, but I don't feel like sitting in the same place and doing it.'
"Blame it on Luffy," I blamed him for this.
"Who is Luffy?" Brook asked. 'Dang! I blurted again,' I cursed. "You may find out in the future," I grinned, unknown whether he will meet him if I get him out of here earlier.
"It is rude of you to change the topic, Grim-san," Brook reminded me of repairing the portable vehicle.
"Aw! Brook, just adding 'Pairopuroine' solution to Eisen Dial will make it work in this atmosphere, even you can do it," I waved my hand offhandedly.
Before Brook could protest, "Besides, did you feed the transponder snail? Where did you put the food? I will feed it," I asked, getting up to search for the bag.
"I have fed 'Phoboon' so you don't need to bother," Brook tried to stop me but I ignored him. "You just need it to feed yourself, right?" Brook snapped.
"What are you saying, Brook? Am I that kind of person?" I gasped dramatically. Brook nodded quickly as his afro bobbed along.
"And did you just name the Transponder snail?" I exclaimed in disbelief at how its name is similar to 'Laboon'.
"Yohoho! I clearly saw it's you who named it, but I don't have eyes, yohoho!" Brook is back to his cheerful self after my revelation.
"Soul King, you are a nice guy," I praised him. Brook looks startled by my jumping thoughts, Blame a certain Monkey boy.
"Grim-san, I won't dance happily and hand over your bag if you compliment me." Brook stared with his socket. "Like you did that day, in your multiple personalities," Brook claimed.
I stared in shock, "I DID WHAT?" I shrieked. 'It must be Chopper's personality,' I knew it. 'Ah! It's embarrassing,' I thought, but that quickly got overridden by 'But it looks funny,' thought; again blame it on certain someone.
"Yohohoho! Grim-san, please don't shout loud or my ears may fall. Ah! But I don't have ears; skull joke, yohohoho!" Brook implied, covering his ears… hole, which is completely covered by his afro.
"Wait, did you say multiple personalities?" I asked aloud as the red in my eye reduced.
"If I think about it, I do have multiple personality disorder," I groaned. 'I already have Short-term memory Loss, and on top of it now I have Multiple personality disorder, will I also get other mental illnesses,' I shivered at that thought.
"Don't worry, Grim-san, you will somehow manage… I think," Brook comforted me… I think.
I knew that Brook won't hand me the food bag, so I gave up. "Ahem! Brook, do you know about Prank Call?" I grinned mischievously as the red in my eyes reduced further. Brook looked interested.
I brought him to 'Phoboon', this is one of the Transponder Snail 'Past me' got from God's shrine. 'I' have also experimented with its receiver and dialing mechanism.
And I somehow upgraded... Er- or broke it. The call works fine, but the snail does not mimic my facial expressions to the person on the other end of the call.
So I can use it for pra… *ahem* secret calls and others can't find my identity. I hope I can build a transceiver, which can be used as a radio and connect every Transponder snail, like the one I read in one of the fanfics.
I picked up the receiver and dialed some random numbers, hoping that it would connect to someone. The first one didn't connect as well as the second, so I tried many numbers, hoping for the call to connect. I don't know the codes for each Blues, so dial randomly till it gets connected.
*purupurupuruuuuu* my eyes widen hearing the call connecting sound *purupurupuruuuuu* the call rang on the other side.
*Calick* "Hello! Who's there?" A man's voice spoke through the snail's mouth.
"Oh! It's connected to someone," Brook cheered from the side.
"*gasp* finally it connected," I yelled, acting surprised after shushing Brook.
"Who are you? What do you want, kid?" the voice asked.
'KID?' I bristled. 'Oh! I'm a kid,' I sighed, remembering my body's condition.
"*ahem* Uncle, we are shipwrecked on an unknown Island," I stuttered, speaking like a kid and creating a tale.
"I only have this Transponder Snail and my Grandpa here," I stuttered, glancing at Brook.
"Oh! Are you alright kid? Are you injured?" the man asked anxiously.
"*sniff* I'm fine but… but Grandpa only has bones on him," I revealed as Brook snickered nearby.
"OH! I'm sorry for your loss, kid," the man's condolence.
"No! He is still alive as bones," I assured the man.
"What! How can he be alive with only bones?" the man questioned skeptically.
"Don't know, it's probably because I ate his meat," I replied as a matter of fact. Brook is laughing silently, pounding the ground.
"*hiss* kid… that… I have things to do so…?" the man stuttered.
"Wait! mister, I need marine's emergency number and codes for all the blues," I asked quickly before he cut the phone.
"Ok… kid, wait… a moment, I have them somewhere nearby," the man responded fearfully, then read the numbers as I noted them down.
"That's it, kid, stay… hm… alive, I guess," the man stumbled.
"Thank you, mister. Please tell me your address. I will send you some meat," I asked the man.
*Cachack* the man cut the call off.
"YOHOHOHOHO!" Brook started to laugh loud rolling on the deck as soon as the call disconnected.
"Shihihihihi!" I also laughed along.
"Grim-san, that was cruel of you, yohohoho!" Brook laughed.
"It is not the right way to talk to the person. You ask for help, yohoho!" Brook chided me while laughing.
I got annoyed. "Who said it is false? I going to eat you if I don't have food," I snapped at him as he become stiff.
"I know bones are nutritious." I scanned Brook's body, licking my lips.
"Grim-san, No! Don't! Cannibalism is a sin." Brook shook his bony hands in protest, sweating hard.
"But I'm not Human, so it is not cannibalism," I pointed out. Brook's bones became further pale in fear.
"Grim-san, if you eat me, then no one will sing for you," Brook reasoned, to get out of the plight.
"Oh! Yeah, then I can't eat you," I smacked my palm in realization as red slightly returned to my Iris.
'Looking at his reaction, did he really plan to eat me?' Brook thought in horror.
"Then you will be Emergency Food," I declared as Brook looked blankly at the result and further determined to ration the food.
"Brook, do you want to try?" I asked, pointing at 'Phoboon' as he looked at a loss before determination oozed from him.
He picked up the receiver and dialed marine's number, "Remember, don't 'yohohoho' or you will reveal your identity later," I reminded him as he nodded *purupurupuruuu*.
"Hello, this is the marine base 155. What is your emergency?" a marine answered at the other end.
"Thank God! Marine, a pirate attacked my ship and looted my goods," Brook replied anxiously.
"Hmm, state your info, location, and identity of stolen goods," the marine asked for details.
"Oh! Ok, I'm captain of Devil pirates, Grim Reaper," Brook responded to my surprise. 'Ah! He is getting me back for the earlier thing,' I chuckled.
"Are you kidding? You are a pirate and called the marine?" the marine yelled angrily.
"What!? I don't have a bounty, so I'm obliged to ask for your help as a lawful citizen, or are you looking down on me?" Brook growled in anger.
"Now you have a bounty," the marine snapped back.
"Is that so? I guess the Celestial noble that got kidnapped from me will die in those pirates' hands," Brook muttered.
"WHAT! Do you mean!?" the marine asked anxiously.
I am totally surprised that Brook is good at this. He even modulated his voice slightly, well he is a musician. Thus, my stay on Brook's ship continues with a new hobby for both of us.
