Chapter: This Is Not a REAL...?
.
.
After I found Brook ditched me...ahem... sacrificed himself, I became extremely angry.
.
"How dare he ditch me? I'm going to kill him," I seethed in anger.
"Shit! Can I even find him in that awful Florian Triangle? Gaah! It's frustrating even though I don't remember the time together with him," I ranted in despair, fear, anger, worry, and determination.
"If I don't search, how will I know?" I decided then took the sling bag and backpack, ready for the search.
"Which direction is Florian Triangle?" I demanded as Jinbe flinched and subconsciously pointed one direction. 'He must be afraid of my Devil's appearance'.
I ignored him and jumped into the sea, swimming in that direction. I also heard Jinbe jumping in, but I ignored him and continued to swim. Jinbe swam fast and blocked me from swimming forward.
"Where are you going?" he asked sternly, with some confusion and some surprise. 'Probably due to me breathing underwater'
"Move it" I yelled, but he looked confused at what I'm saying. 'Oh! Maybe I can't speak underwater… it may be one of my flaws,' I deduced from his expression.
"No! Come back, this sea is dangerous for a kid to swim recklessly," Jinbe understood after I gestured.
I floated there, folding my arms decisively, showing 'No way'. But Jinbe narrowed his eyes and extended his arms and grabbed the water. He held the water like a piece of cloth and dragged it around before throwing it towards me. My eyes widen before the thrown water engulfed me.
The water dragged me along with it and I even felt like flying in the air before it dropped me back on the rock. *ptooey* *gasp* "What the hell is that for?" I demanded angrily after spotting Jinbe climbing up.
Jinbe stomped over and dropped in front of me, crossing his legs. "You need to cool down," Jinbe pointed out as he scrutinized me.
"Hmph!" I snorted but felt worried about Brook. 'What will a man do? When he has been stuck alone for nearly forty years, and finally meets another living being and gets hope of leaving that place. And to only sacrifice it for saving that same person,' I thought in despair and frustration.
"Gaah! No..., I need to find him" I decided, standing up to use the portable vehicle.
"No! You are not going anywhere. I have promised that ghost to take care of you until you are safe," Jinbe rejected. "And I will finish my duty," dutiful Jinbe proclaimed.
"That is not a ghost, he is Human… er- kind of," I refused his duty. "So you don't need to be afraid of being cursed," I exposed his fear.
Jinbe is embarrassed at being exposed but asked for an explanation. I then explained to him about Brook, how he ate devil fruit and struck in the Florian Triangle for nearly 40 years. And how he met me, and because of a shortage of food and afraid of me dying, he asked for his help.
Jinbe looked shocked at this story. "There are even humans like that?" he asked in surprise, as if not knowing that there are even humans who will sacrifice for others.
"Shit! What do you think humans are?" I gaped at him. 'How ignorant. Isn't Whitebeard protecting the Fishman Island now?' I lamented at how a Fishman knows nothing about humans.
"Cruel, selfish, arrogant…so on," Jinbe grumbled angrily.
I rolled my eyes. "Correct. Then you also know nothing about them," I pointed out.
"I don't need to know about them," Jinbe denied. 'Wow! Look at this mafia boss' I raised my brows at his reaction.
'But now I have other important things to worry about, asshole Brook,' I gritted angrily. "Forget that. Now you know the whole thing, I going to find him," I announced, taking the portable bag.
"Then I will help you," Jinbe volunteered, as I looked at him, confused. 'Where is the mafia boss?' I thought.
"Whether he is human or ghost, I promised him to look after you," Jinbe stated his reason.
I nodded in understanding. "Don't you hate humans?" I inquired.
"When did I say I hate all the humans? I only hate pirates and marines," Jinbe retorted. 'Your past speech didn't say so,' I mumbled under my breath.
"Besides, I want to meet this human who sacrificed for others," Jinbe reasoned in awe.
"Maybe then I can know about humans," he continued. 'Then what did you say earlier?' I scoffed at his behavior.
"I can tell you about them," I proposed.
"Forget it. You are not even a human. How can you help me?" Jinbe rejected.
"I'm a human, old man," I snapped at him.
"I'm only in my early thirties," Jinbe quibbled. I huffed and stomped towards the sea.
"Seriously, what are you really?" Jinbe continued to ask as he followed me.
"Don't mention it, Uncle," I dismissed as Jinbe looked thunderstruck at being called uncle.
I ignored his reaction. 'Shit! My emotions affected the control of my body parts. Until now 'I' didn't care about it but from now on I must be careful. Fortunately, this is Jinbe. If it was anyone else, it would have been dangerous' I reviewed my actions then pressed the button with the boat symbol on my sling bag and threw it towards the sea.
I waited in anticipation and nervousness since in the 'Instruction manual' it is mentioned that this is the first time it is tested in water. *cling* *clang* *psssh* it worked and soon there is a 15 m long white boat.
"Woah!" Jinbe exclaimed from behind. "What's that? Where did it come from?" Jinbe asked dumbfound.
I ignored him and cautiously boarded the boat, and it successfully held my weight. I sighed in relief and beckoned Jinbe to climb on it. It's time to test whether it can hold additional weight.
Jinbe stepped on it carefully after not getting any answer from me. The boat swayed a little before stabilizing. I sighed in relief. "What is this boat? Do humans have these marvelous things?" Jinbe looked around curiously.
"No, it can't be found anywhere. It is created by yours truly," I announced, standing on top of the boat posing. Suddenly, the iron cloud below my feet became intangible, and I fell below deck into the only available room.
I stood up from the fall. "Fuck! Why the hell does this happen… Again?" I yelled from the room and also heard a startled cry from Jinbe. 'Again? What again?... And why do I feel like I had this conversation already?' I wondered before focusing on the current problem.
"Did the Dials malfunction?" I muttered and reached the place where the important spot of this boat was located. It is the location of the 'key box' or whatever remains after it was split. Now, it only contains a mechanical structure responsible for controlling the Eisen Dials to produce clouds with different shapes. Many brain cells died to create this mechanical circuit, so it is important.
I checked and found that the Dials are intact and there is no malfunction. "It's all work properly, then… if it works…" I trailed off. It suddenly clicked… who the culprit was. "Fuck you! Stupid God," I bellowed in anger.
Then I reached the door to exit the room and came out from the door below the dashboard. I spotted Jinbe nearby, scratching his head in confusion, looking around.
"What are you confused about?" I asked, startling Jinbe, who has not yet noticed me.
"OH! You are alright," Jinbe nodded. "I thought something happened to you, but after hearing you curse, I didn't check," he added as I nodded in understanding. 'Just admit this boat distracted you'.
"So!? Why are looking around confused?" I asked again.
"Well… there are no sails on this boat. How will it sail?" Jinbe asked in anticipation.
"Hmph…! See how I open your eyes," I arrogantly declared, then stood in front of the steering wheel. Then I cursed of my short height then created a step using Eisen Dial.
I pushed the lever forward. A mild sound of *clunk* *click* *psssh* is heard as a jet of air is ejected from behind the boat, pushing it forward.
"Wow!" Jinbe exclaimed in awe. Since he is a helmsman, he should be excited.
I pushed the lever further as the speed of the boat continued to increase. I then tested the steering wheel and circled that rock, then set towards the direction of Florian Triangle pointed out by Jinbe.
We reached Florian Triangle in an hour, to Jinbe's surprise. I also tested the other functions of the boat, like changing the backup Dials and also checking whether they are recharging properly.
"Are you ready? There is still a chance to turn around," Jinbe asked, driving the boat.
"We have already arrived this far. And you are asking such a stupid question," I muttered in annoyance.
"It's already two days since I found you. From the condition of his ship he should have drifted far away by now" Jinbe sighed as he turned the steering readying to enter the 'Florian Triangle'.
"It's better than not searching at all," I remarked, examining the Florian Triangle. I instinctively didn't feel afraid of it.
Jinbe nodded, then pushed the lever entering the 'ghost' sea. I kept my eyes and ears open to see or hear anything from Brook. After not getting any result after some hours, I began calling for him at one point. We searched Florian Triangle for a long time and unexpectedly crossed it.
We emerged out on the other side of the Florian Triangle. I'm distressed at not finding Brook and cursed silently.
"Turn around. We need to search again," I ordered Jinbe, who look hesitant.
"You can't find him like this," Jinbe voiced at last. I glared at him. "It's no use in glaring at me. Do you know how large Florian Triangle is?" he explained.
I withered instantly. 'I know, it's just… frustrating... stupid Brook,' I grumbled silently. "You don't even know which direction he drifted to. You can't search aimlessly," Jinbe pointed.
I nodded and before I could reply «KA-CHING» a sound of coin drop sounded from the watch. I blinked and scanned around vigilantly. 'Where Am I?' I wondered. My violet/purple bordered Iris gleamed in intelligence and calm.
Jinbe looked around for that sound, but then ignored it. After not getting any reply, he looked at my silent form and sighed, "Forget it, let's search one more time" he suggested.
"Who are you?" I asked him calmly but ready to escape if there was any danger.
Jinbe's eyes bulged comically, "Why did you forget me?" he yelled in surprise.
"Do I know you? Where Am I?" I questioned him calmly as he looked speechlessly at me.
Jinbe thought silently, then recalled the things I explained about me while searching for Brook. 'Is this STML?' Jinbe thought after calming down.
"Look at your wrist," Jinbe pointed after recalling. I looked at my wrist warily, even though this Oni looks somewhat familiar. Then I operated the watch and calmed down after reading the 'Reminder Note'.

I frowned while reading about Brook but continued to read. "Wait for a while, I need some time to think," I said to Jinbe, then opened the door below the dashboard, reaching the room. 'I don't know if he knows all my secrets,' I thought.
Jinbe raised his brows at being mentioned like that but he didn't care and went back to control the boat excitedly, well… he is only in his late twenties.
I entered the room and created a lawn chair from Eisen Dial and began reading everything related to this world—Log Book, Top secret file, videos, audios, pictures, etc.
As I continued to learn more, I became more confused and thoughtful. I checked my 'extra body parts,' and checked the pendants, checked all the things in the bag- Dials, mechanical parts, etc.
I compared them with the 'My Items List' and found many things missing, like a bag full of gold and robot parts, an awesome weapon, a transponder snail, etc.
"Transponder Snail…?" I muttered as my purple-bordered Iris lit up. I looked at my watch thoughtfully, and then quickly operated it.
*Trinnng* *Trinnng* I heard a ringing sound *Trinnng* *Trinnng* it rang again. I fidgeted nervously as the ring continues *Trinnng* *Trinnng*.
*Kachack* "Hello, Bones from Rumbar Morgue speaking" a voice spoke. I sighed in relief at the familiar voice and tone.
"Brook, I'm going to kill you when I find you," I seethed as my eye color returned to normal.
There was silence on the other side, "Yohohoho, But I'm already dead, skull Joke," Brook replied cheerfully.
"YOU!… How dare you throw me?" I seethed angrily.
"Grim-san… I'm glad you are fine. I was so worried about you," Brook expressed sincerely. 'Then you shouldn't have thrown me,'.
"Fuck…!" I cursed angrily. I don't know why, Even though I don't remember him, subconsciously; my emotions are out of control as soon as I heard his voice.
"Yohohoho, you don't know, I am very surprised when 'Phaboon' rang. I was so scared that my soul came out of my body, yohohoho," Brook continued his jokes, ignoring my anger.
"Idiot! Here I am worried that you have become senile without me. But from your action you are doing fine *hmph*" I snorted coldly as Brook became silent.
"Grim-san, I nearly became senile for a while, but I snapped out of it. As you mentioned, I'm full of positivity… even though I'm only but bones, Yohohoho," Brook explained seriously… er- cheerfully.
I thought how difficult it must be for him to remain sane and sighed. "And Calcium," I added, and then Brook's voice stopped immediately. "Grim-san, *sniff* you are not angry anymore? *sniff*" Brook sniveled, not getting angry like usual.
"*scoff* As If, I will break your bones when I meet you" I threatened him as he continued to cry. "I'm already in front of Florian Triangle. Where are you?" I asked suddenly.
"Grim-san, you are very 'Humerus'. Yohohoho, did you get it? Humorous- Humerus, yohohoho- Skull Joke" Brook laughed cheerfully.
"Shut Up! I know I can't find you easily in there, but I must at least try," I snapped back at him.
"Grim-san, I'm thrilled that you are doing this, but you must have already searched for a while, right?" Brook went straight to the point.
I grimaced at the truth. "Grim-san, don't worry about me. I can take care of myself. You go do your thing," Brook replied after a while.
"Do you think I will be happy doing that, leaving you stuck here?" I yelled angrily.
"Yes, you will be excited because you will forget about me in the next STML. You really have Goldfish memory, Yohohoho" Brook mocked me as I smiled.
'Well, since he insists, I can only find another chance to save him,' I decided. 'but... how dare he mock me' I grinned.
"Oh! I thought of contacting you if I meet Laboon, but…" I started. "Nooo! Grim-san, you are cruel. Please forgive me…" Brook rambled frantically as I sneered at his action.
"Oh! One more thing. How dare you give the unconscious me to a random person?" I roared at him. "This is not the same sea when you traveled. At least it is Jinbe. If it was someone, I'm probably a slave by now," I snapped at him.
'I can't believe he did something irrational since he is an experienced old man, I thought.
"Grim-san, I only gave you after knowing he is a good guy," Brook interrupted my scolding.
I looked blankly. "It's weird… just after finding that you are not woken up, I became extremely anxious and stressed, not knowing what to do," Brook began his explanation. 'Then why did you make that weird box?'.
"As I was carrying you out, suddenly I can feel the souls of living things. I can tell from it whether the soul is good or bad. So I only approached Jinbe after checking him," Brook finished.
I look dumbfound by the new info. 'What check, souls? Is it his Observation Haki or his Devil Fruit power?' I wondered about his new power.
"Even though he is not completely good now, he may become one in the future," Brook explained
"If you say so, then try to practice it," I advised then I began asking him some questions about some doubts I got while reading the Log and began noting them.
After sometimes we sat there in silence, my violet/purple bordered eyes narrowed in sadness "Brook, call me regularly," I broke the silence.
"Ye-es, Grim-san *sniff*" Brook replied sadly, and my current personality kept my emotions in check.
After another bout of silence, "Yohohoho, you are worrying too much, I'm fine, don't worry. And it is time for me to make some 'Calls' so Goodbye *Kalick*" Brook replied cheerfully before cutting the call.
"You… idiot," I muttered holding the watch silently. I quickly snapped out of it. "There is no time for sadness, I need to find the abnormality I found while reading the Log" I muttered rubbing my face.
I then concentrated on reading the Log and other things before coming to a conclusion. I looked up as my intelligent eyes searched for something. Whatever that is, is clearly intangible or may not even be there.
"So, this is not a real One Piece word?" I asked no one... or... Is there no one? Someone or something is watching me…?. I looked around warily.
