Guy of Gisborne lived a lot of life between his death in 1197 and reuniting with Genevieve in 2014. He built a dynasty and in some instances of history, pulled the wool over a few pairs of eyes and had the last laugh. In the end, he got what he wanted.

A portion of Robin and Marian's happy life, back home in Locksley with King Richard on the throne. Isabella wrecks havoc, and Robin and Marian are forced to take on jobs and reunite with Robin's gang to make a daring rescue. Guy makes his appearance beginning in chapter 39.

Robin visits Marian at Knighton Hall, the night after she leaves Gisbourne at the altar, and the day before the sheriff's sister arrives in Nottingham.

Robin and the gang apprehend a traveling party in the Sherwood forest, but instead of a regular good deed of robbing the rich to aid the poor they are faced by unexpected encounter with people far more important than they seem.
