Chapter 38
Psycho Power

Ryu, Ness, and Milk entered the main office room of the top floor. Located at the back of the room was a large desk in which Geldegarde Monotoli was behind of, while M. Bison was standing in front of the desk with his arms crossed. Seeing those people, Monotoli asked, "Who… Who are you people? You can't come in here just like this!"

"Hmph! You sure have guts to follow me all the way here, vigilantes!" Bison said to them.

"Bison! Your reign of terror ends now!" Ryu said to him.

"Oh hey, it's Mister Monotoli," said Ness. "I was starting to wonder if he exists in this world too."

"What is it you hope to accomplish?" Bison asked the good guys. "Fame, pursuit of power, or a foolish sense of justice?"

"You're seemingly kidnapping people and experimenting on them, so that alone makes you a bad guy who warrants being stopped," Ness said to him. "Furthermore, we made a deal with the police to take you down."

"I know you too well. If we let you run around unchecked, who knows what sort of evil you will commit," Ryu said to him. "We will put an end to you and Shadaloo!"

"Hmph! So a foolish sense of justice it is, then!" said an unimpressed Bison. "Very well, if you need a lesson to be drilled into your head about having such ridiculous thoughts, then I will gladly be your instructor! Come at me if you want to die!"

"You don't need to tell me that!" said Milk before running over to Bison. She leaped into the air towards him with one fist pulled back, ready to throw a punch. However, she her fist almost connected with him, he effortlessly caught her fist and then flung her away to the side.

Ryu charged forward next. He threw a punch at Bison, who also caught his fist, but unlike with Milk, he did not throw Ryu to the side. Ryu pulled back his fist and threw more punches, forcing Bison to take more action by defending them with his hands multiple times and even throw punches back at him.

Ryu then backed away and shot a Hadoken at him. In response, Bison held up his hand and shot a ball of purple energy at the incoming blue fireball. The two projectiles collided with each other and exploded in a burst of light before disappearing.

Bison suddenly flipped into the air in Ryu's direction, slamming down the back of his shoes onto his head, or at least attempt to, as Ryu held up one arm to block them. Bison bounced back from performing the move and landed, and he was immediately hit by colorful energy balls fired by Ness, getting blown away.

He landed in a crouching position and glared at Ness, and then Milk appeared behind him, ready to throw a punch. The punch never hit him, because he spun around and hit Milk in the face with the back of his hand, knocking her away into a book shelf, which then collapsed on top of her.

Ryu ran up to Bison, and the two began trading blows against each other. As the two fought, Monotoli hid underneath his desk, trembling in fear. Ness appeared before him and said to him, "I think you should leave the room while you still can."

"You're right… Why haven't I thought of it?" said Monotoli. He then got out from underneath his desk and bailed the place as fast as he could, and Bison didn't care about this as he continued to fight Ryu.

Turning to Bison, Ness saw him grabbing and throwing Ryu across the room. Stretching out his hand, Ness fired a white energy wave at Bison while shouting, "PSI Paralyze!"

Bison held up his arms when he saw the wave approaching him and engulfing his body, and he found himself unable to move. "What… What the…?!" he said in surprise.

Milk stood back up from underneath the bookshelf that fell on top of her, knocking it aside in the process. Shouting in anger, she rushed at Bison and slammed her fist into his face, knocking him onto the floor. She then jumped on top of his body, pinning him down before pummeling him over and over.

After a few hits, Bison disappeared into thin air, causing her to drop to the floor with a look of surprise. Bison reappeared behind her and grabbed her head, lifting her into the air using only one hand. As Milk struggled to break free from his grasp, he released purple energy from his hand that gave her a sensation comparable to both being burned and electrocuted at the same time in her head. Milk screamed in pain, and this kept up until Ryu charged at Bison to stop him, to which the latter responded by throwing Milk in his direction.

Ryu caught Milk and flew back a bit, landing on a sitting position. "Are you all right?" Ryu asked him.

Milk got off of him and rubbed the back of her head. "Yeah, I'm fine… It'll take a lot more than that to take down a Nikke."

"Looks like being a machine has its perks," said Ryu, standing back up and getting into a fighting stance to face Bison again. "By the way, you're pretty heavy."

"Well yeah, made of steel and all…" said Milk, also standing back up. "Anyway, let's take on him together."

"And don't forget about me!" Ness said to them, raising his arm.

"It doesn't matter how many of you come at once. You will all be killed by me!" said Bison with confidence.

Ryu and Milk rushed at him together, but he warped out of the way and appeared behind them. The moment he appeared, Ness used PSI Rockin against him. Bison raised his arms for defense and was blown back by the projectile attack, and then he shot purple energy balls at Ness, who generated a blue energy shield around himself for protection.

"Oh right! How come I haven't thought of this earlier?" thought Ness. He then pointed his hands at Ryu and Milk, causing the same kinds of shields to appear around them. He told them, "That's PSI Shield. It will protect you from most attacks for a while."

"Thanks. This should come in handy," said Ryu.

Milk approached Bison to engage him in combat, throwing several punches at him that he either dodged or blocked. When Bison attacked her, his hands struck the shield as if it was a wall, and he was unable to directly attack her. Milk smirked as she pressed forward, trying to hit him.

Bison backed away from her attacks, and then he held up his hands while charging them up with purple energy. He thrust his hand forward fast and hard, so much that he destroyed the shield and struck Milk in the body, sending her back through the air so hard that she broke through the wall and into another room.

"Dang!" said Ness in surprise. He was not expecting Bison to be able to hit hard enough to penetrate PSI Shield.

Ryu glared at Bison and said, "Taking you down will require more power than I currently have, and that can be rectified."

"Oh? What do you plan to do?" Bison asked him.

In response, Ryu closed his eyes and crossed his arms in front of himself. A couple of seconds later, a burst of electricity appeared around himself as he opened his eyes and brought down his eyes, and his fists were constantly generating electricity. "Denjin Renki!"

BGM: Volcano Rim (Street Fighter IV)

"Interesting, but does it stand a chance against Psycho Power?" asked Bison.

"You will see soon enough!" said Ryu.

The two then charged at each other and traded blows, resulting in shockwaves of electricity and purple energy. Ness watched from the side in awe and also rooted for Ryu to do his best.

When Bison threw another punch at Ryu, the latter blocked it with one hand and then countered it with his other hand, unleashing a punch that resulted in a shockwave bursting out of Bison's back. The villain cried in pain as he got pushed back by it. Ryu then used this opportunity to charge up an electrified Hadoken to shoot at him. "Raiko Hadoken!"

Bison was unable to dodge the incoming projectile and took the full blunt of it. He screamed in pain as he flew back, crashing into Monotoli's desk and breaking it, and hit the wall. As he was getting back up, Ryu ran up to him and attacked him mercilessly with electricity hits, not giving him a breathing space. After several hits, he grabbed Bison by the arm and tossed him in the opposite direction.

While Bison was still flying through the air, Milk came flying towards him with a flying kick, striking him hard and knocking him onto the floor. Bison got back up fast and said in anger, "Don't get so full of yourself! Psycho Crusher!" He then shot himself through the air while spinning and covered in purple energy, heading in Ryu's direction.

However, Ryu stepped to the side fast, and as Bison was passing by him, he grabbed one of his feet and spun him in a circle once before throwing him away. This time, Bison was thrown in Ness's direction, and the psychic kid used PSI Flash, creating a blast of green energy that blew him away.

The bright light also stung Bison's eye so badly that he was unable to see clearly. While he was trying to make his way around, Milk approached him and gave him an onslaught of punches.

Bison was punched in Ryu's direction, and the latter connected with his abdomen his fist, followed by a jumping uppercut charged with electricity. "SHIN SHORYUKEN!"

SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!

Bison was sent crashing through the air ceiling. From the outside, one could see him shooting out of the roof. He flew off the edge of the building and plummeted towards the street below. Needless to say, the sight of someone falling from such a height caused no small commotion down below.

Ness, Milk, and Ryu looked out the window at what was happening down below. The former two had looks of shock on their faces, but Ryu said, "Knowing Bison, I doubt we have seen the last of him."

The police had arrived to deal with the situation. Balrog, Vega, F. , and anyone who were loyal to Bison were all rounded up by and taken away.

Bison and Chatterbox were both deceased, so body removal specialists were called over to take them away.

Mary and Andonut said they were never on Shadaloo's side and that they were kidnapped and threatened into working for them. Therefore, they received a pardon and were deemed innocent, but the police still told them to come back with them to the police station for questioning.

Monotoli explained to the police that he had been coerced into working for Shadaloo as well, using his name to host the tournament in order to lure in strong fighters and kidnap them for the purpose of imprinting their fighting styles into the shapeshifting humanoid weapons known as Elevens so that Shadaloo can use them to take over the world.

Several people who were kidnapped had Elevens replacing them, but after Andonut activated the self-destruction sequence, all of them were destroyed. The kidnapped people were all freed from the glass chambers they were put into in cryogenic states, including Zangief and Guy.

The good guys were standing out in the streets with Cody, Monotoli, and Captain Strong, talking among themselves about what happened. "You folks did a lot better than I thought!" Cody said to them, sounding impressed. "Great jobs! Considering your vigilantism records erased!"

"But keep in mind that doesn't mean you are allowed to take the law into your own hand again," Captain Strong warned them. "And honestly, I'm not impressed that you left behind dead bodies! If I were doing things, the leader of Shadaloo would be captured alive!"

"Death means nothing to Bison," Ryu said to him. "He always finds a way to come back to life."

"What on earth is that supposed to mean?" asked Captain Strong.

"You'll find out some day," replied Ryu.

"By the way, where is Porky? I realized that I haven't seen him anywhere at all…" said Monotoli, looking left and right. "He's a fat kid with blonde hair."

"That guy… We were looking for him and didn't find him at all," said Ein. "He sent robotic clones of himself after us and taunted us from somewhere, but he never showed himself."

"Porky isn't the kind to fight directly, so that is so like him… He probably fled somewhere far away already," said Ness.

As soon as he said that, something dropped down from the sky, landing in front of the Monotoli Building's entrance. The ground even shook a bit. Everyone turned to look in shock at what appeared and saw the statue of Porky that Ein and Zwei saw on the rooftop of the building.

"It's that statue!" said Zwei in surprise.

Porky's voice then came from within the statue. "Are you guys looking for me? Well, look no further, because I am here to give you all a good spanking for ruining everything!"

"Porky! You're inside that thing, right?" Ness asked him.

"Right! This King Statue modeled after your highness himself, which is me, will be the end of you all!" said Porky.

"You better be inside there, because I'm going to blow it up and do the same thing to you that you did to me and Zwei!" Ein said to him in anger.

"You mean the part where my Porkies shoved their fingers up your butts?" replied Porky.

Hearing this, everyone turned to stare at Ein and Zwei with freaked out eyes, causing the two high school girls' faces to turn bright red. Ein then said loudly, "YES! I'M GOING TO SHOVE MY GUN UP YOUR ASS AND BLOW YOU INTO PIECES!"

The final battle for this arc will begin next chapter, and this means the next arc will also be teased!
