Chapter 21
As Harry and Charlie finished making breakfast and brought it out, Harry couldn't help but feel that something in his shadow had changed.
Catching his father's eye, he subtly signaled him that they needed to talk after breakfast, which Alastor gave a simple nod before continuing his conversation with Charlie about how to drum up more business for the hotel.
Once everyone had finished eating Alastor and Harry excused themselves and went to the roof where Harry told his father about the strange feeling of his shadow.
"It's like it's grown stronger and has more sprites in it than what I had originally, a lot more."
Alastor hummed at this before he moved towards Harry's shadow and started poking it with tendrils of power until in a surprise he was pushed back by something leaping out of Harry's shadows and swinging towards Alastors head. Instantly Alastor sent shadow tendrils forward and tried to tie it down, key word being tried, the figure leapt around avoiding each tendril yet not moving forward, soon enough it moved back and planted itself infront of Harry.
The figure would have stood at seven feet tall if it wasn't hunched over, its limbs replaced with blades and colored green and silver, Harry felt like he should know this thing but couldn't remember where, Alastor was impressed.
Infact he was proud, his son had managed to make a formidable looking pawn in comparison to Alastors little voodoo dolls.
"We'll champ it looks like you manifested your first pawns, a true sign that you're on your way to becoming a truly powerful overlord."
Harry was spell bound at the appearance of this thing, he was mesmerized by its looks at over all appearance, it was simply a thing of beautiful carnage, elegant death.
Reaching a hand forward Harry touched the hollow armors back and felt a jolt pass into it, the armor started changing, metal turning fluid as it seemed to change by Harry's magic thinks it needs more. Once the metal solidifies the first thing Harry and Alastor notice is that instead of being green and silver it is now pink and red with white and silver running through some places.
The blades had changed from large jagged edged things to almost a cutlass style sword arm mixed with a katana from the forearm up leading to a three foot blade sticking out of the now four armed suit.
The helmet now looked like a grinning mask resembling a mixture of Alastor and Angel in appearance with a singular gold tooth shining out from its face.
It's body had slimmed down to where no one not even Harry's parents could wear it, a ball took the place of the stomach and legs, making it so that the upper and lower half's floated separately from each other. The legs had stayed roughly the same, looking like a grasshoppers legs but with jagged blades taking their place, but now a large thorax jutted out the back and adding on four more legs, equaling six in total.
Sticking out the back of the armor was a translucent set of dragonfly wings with razor thin edges around the entire wing, as Harry and Alastor watched on the creature split its lower half and upper half with a flap of its wings.
Rather then the lower half falling down, the second sphere left behind spun around and showed another face hidden away, lifting a set of legs, the lower half twisted the around and turned them into elongated arms.
The upper half buzzed around, its wings taking it high before it dived down at Alastor, the lower half also charged towards Alastor, the four legs launching it forward in a great leap. Alastor quickly summoned up a sheild and started spreading his shadows out to try and push back his son's pawn, after all, it wouldn't do to destroy such useful tools for his son's protection.
Harry was stunned for a moment before he tried to feel for the connection to this thing from his shadow, with only a minor amount of searching he found it, and pulling hard on the tether he stopped the living armor before it crashed into his dads shield.
With a a startling amount of force both halves stop, they quickly reformed into one whole before returning to stand infront of Harry before kneeling, waiting for their masters orders.
"Return to my shadow until you are called upon."
With a nod the living armor jumped over Harry and dived into his shadow, disappearing as if it was never their to begin with, but Harry could feel it as it moved in his shadow, seemingly searching for something.
"Well down slugger, you've made quite the interesting little pawn, even before it fully bonded with you."
Harry looked over to Alastor and saw that the shield had disappeared and that Alastor was giving a genuine smile rather than his normal plastered on one's.
"Thanks dad, guess it didn't like you poking around my shadow.
Alastor simply chuckled.
"You should teach it to lure people in, your shadow is a realm onto itself where none but you have ultimate power."
Alastor's smile had turned malicious as he kept talking and Harry rolled his eyes at his dad's antics, but he knew his dad was only trying to help in his own twisted way. Soon both father and son both repaired any damage that had happened and went back into the hotel proper, there they found Angel speaking on the phone to someone, both Harry and Alastor noticed the way Angel was acting and immediately knew who he was talking to.
"Yes Val I'll be there."
Angel hung up the phone and turned around only to be surprised by the sight of his husband and son.
"Geeze, I need to put a bell on you two, ya can't sneak up on people like that, that's how you get stabbed, or shot."
Both Harry and Alastor ignored the comment and simply hugged Angel.
"You know you don't have to go sweetie, we could very easily make it so that, that wretch can never lay a hand on you ever again."
Angel simply returns the hug and shakes in their embrace, Harry and Alastor simply hold him and let him feel safe if even for a moment.
Once the shaking stops, Angel pulls away from the hug and with a kiss on Harry's forehead and a kiss on Alastors lips, Angel heads to the door and heads off to work, hoping he'll be home in time to see his son off to the mortal realm.
As Angel left, Alastor sent a shadow tag along to keep an eye on him while he stayed at the hotel to keep things running while Harry headed to the underworld ring. So with a sigh Alastor waved Harry of as Harry jumped onto his Amphiptere and flew straight for the express pass to the lower rings, leaving Alastor to tend to hotel matters.

As Voldemort finally connected one of the living armors to Harry to let him mold it properly, he looked down on the disgrace that he once had in his inner circle of followers cowering in the corner with his wife and son.
"Quit your sniveling Lucius, I grow tired of hearing it."
The family on the corner flinched as one at Voldemort's words but the did stop making noise, making a cruel smile spread cross Voldemort's face before he let it fall before turning to address the family he had dragged to hell.
"Now I have a simple mission for you Lucius, and if you manage to some how complete it, I can guarantee your safety when you join me down here at your actual time of death."
Lucius launched himself forward and kowtowed at his lords feet blubbering about how he wouldn't fail and make Voldemort proud of his services.
"Silent fool."
Instantly Lucius stopped speaking and shook like a leaf in the wind as he kept as low as he could as Voldemort took a knee and lifted his head to look him in the eye.
"Your mission is simple, I want you to do everything in your power to support Harry Potter when he shows himself to the public."
Instantly Lucius opened his mouth hoping beyond hope he wouldn't be punished for his words.
"But my lord, Harry Potter is dead, that fool Dumbledore told everyone what happened."
Voldemort clicked his tounge at how foolish the supposed Slytherin was.
"Someone is doing the work of bringing him back, but he is changed, and with what I plan to give him, he will be unstoppable."
At that moment, the soldier he connected to Harry came back, in its new full glory, it immediately went to the rows of other living armor, and touched one, forcing the connection with Harry and starting its transformation.
"The wizarding world isn't even ready for the demon that will wall amongst them."
The sound of fluid metal and mad laughter echo out from the warehouse as the piled bodies of all who approached it where shoved into the fires by hulking monstrosities of metal and magic, awaiting their lords orders.
