Bruce Wayne had gone to see the play "The Furry Venus" in a theater, a play in which a man submits to a woman to become her slave, and on arriving at the reception Bruce Wayne bumped into his girlfriend Nathalie, a girl he'd told she was wonderful when he'd met her in a park before they started getting to know each other. Nathalie had told Bruce Wayne that the play was excellent and that she was going to attend it from a position close to the stage, and Bruce Wayne replied that the seat he had reserved was on the balcony at the very top. Nathalie had an unobstructed view of the stage in a very comfortable seat, whereas Bruce Wayne was at a great disadvantage far from the stage with very little space and his seat had no backrest and was very hard. The balcony where Bruce Wayne was seated was so unergonomic that everyone nicknamed it the chicken coop. So when Bruce Wayne went to see a play in which a man submitted to a woman to become her slave, Nathalie was in a very comfortable space with an excellent view of the stage, while Bruce Wayne was in what was known as the chicken coop.
