Shigeru was taking the train to the Kingdom by the River after he was busy looking into some of the documents that he collected from those who were affiliated to the Four Stewards. Even though he was there to assess the further damage and look for possible survivors, he was thinking about Fuyuka as he was also adamant into keeping her safe from harm. He knew of the wrathful behavior that House Arkhelios displayed as he was also beyond disgusted that they would go to such lengths into targeting his daughter like that. Still, he had to think about what was going on as he saw a cold spot in one of the fields in which there was a sign of snow coming without warning, for he couldn't ignore what was going on so far.

BOOM!

Without warning, he heard an explosion as he saw some of the Zenith Vectors coming towards the train as he had to get everyone out of there. He remembered what happened to Albus as he didn't want to have a repeat of what did away with him last year in which he saw the train stopping. He noticed the operator and conductor ushering some of the passengers out of the train as he was also searching for possible survivors that were trapped in there. What he didn't expect was that there was an ear-piercing scream that filled the train as he rushed towards the dining car where he saw a large hole where a rocket launcher round pierced it in. What he also didn't expect was that there was the sound of something feeding on whoever screamed the moment he saw the perpetrator dead on the floor the moment he noticed a familiar face draining him of the blood he was feasting on, for he didn't tolerate the presence of the Zenith Vectors that came here to Alecrast and beyond.

"Didn't mean to intrude on your meal, Benny," he said.

"Sorry, but I prefer taking a bite out of terrorism," he said as he finished up his meal on the Zenith Vector's corpse. "Things have been getting out of hand since the war ended, but the Four Stewards refuse to hand over power."

"I just whisked my little girl away to where Sammy and his family are at. As for Futaba and Yagyu, they're safe on Erebor in Zama Village, but I couldn't put them at risk with Fuyuka in tow."

"Iago is a psychopath and his sister is too vain to rule this planet. We all know what they're capable of in which they don't care about the consequences for their actions. As for our new foes in the suits, they're weak against bullets and blades, but they have a weakness for diamond when I found something that tore into my latest meal's attire." Benny fishes out a a dagger that was made with both aetherial metal and diamond. "This piece of cutlery did wonders, for it also gave me a free lunch."

"You better get your ass away from the scene 'cause we've got company."

Shigeru saw Benny leave as he later noticed a Sohma vehicle approaching. He saw it to be from the resistance as they would soon find out more of the wreckage of the train, for this was a nightmare that didn't end anytime soon. Even though the first Zenith Vector attack from last year was a wake-up call, the aftermath of the Four Stewards' inability to deal with the terrorists was a breaking point as a call to action had to be implemented, for there was the call for the return of the Alecrian royal family to think about...

I was busy taking care of the younger children in the nursery as I was busy doing what I did for the little ones. The twins, Pippa and Raizo, were fed and cleaned as they were also put down for a nap in which I also had a habit of leaking due to stress. That was when I had to deal with the quadruplets as they were getting fidgety in their bassinets. It wasn't long until I saw Reiko and Dirithi enter into the nursery as they were on hand in helping me take care of them the moment they sat down in the chairs that were near the playpens. That was when I gently picked up Shizuko as I allowed her to nurse while latching onto me. Reiko later grabbed Sylphina as she began to nurse her while Dirithi was busy taking care of the boys out of the four. We had our work cut out for us as we were busy feeding the quadruplets until they were full from their feedings, for they were fully content after getting their daily breakfast.

"The little ones are doing much better than we expected," said Reiko as she was burping Sylphina.

"They also look like their mothers," I said as I burped Shizuko. "Attagirl…" I heard the baby let out a content belch as she was starting to yawn. "As soon as you get bigger, you'll be surrounded by the rest of your brothers and sisters."

"You two know how to take care of your children," said Dirithi as she saw Reiko take Sidwin and began to burp him. "It's strange that you have so many of them in a short time."

"They are our children, but there is no room for favoritism. That was what my own father said when he lost his life so many years ago."

"And we know that route…" Dirithi feels a pang of resentment as she didn't want to talk about her personal pain. "When I was little, my parents favored my older brother in which they viewed him as a saving grace to preserve our family business. I was left out of everything while Dobrathi was given what he got on a silver platter. He was later labeled as the golden child in our family as I had enough and left in which I married Kavinar, had his sons, but lost him and our unborn daughter from the tunda plants that ravaged our village. Still, I pray to their graves in which my sons also pray towards them, for I also want them to be treated equally."

"Favoritism is nothing more than a toxic poison. Everyone should be treated equally instead of having one being chosen over the other. It's what is needed in times of crisis."

We left the nursery as we tended to the younger children while giving them their usual diaper changes before putting them down for a nap. As we made our way to our usual places in the villa, I was in the sitting room as I later noticed Fuyuka in one of the chairs crying. She was missing her family as I also had to do my best to comfort her in which she needed it the most. Still, I was fearing the worst as I was also receiving corresponding letters from the opposition that was operating on the sidelines against the Four Steward Houses, for I also had to escort Dean back to Alecrast in this crucial time.

"I miss Daddy," I heard Fuyuka say as she had tears in her eyes.

"I know, but he's entrusted us to look after you," I said.

"I also miss Mommy and Yagyu, but they're hidden on Erebor. If only those bad people didn't ransack our home…"

"I get the message in which your father's spearheading the effort against the bad people who ravaged the Kingdom by the River. From what I heard, the people who caused this mess have been in power since the Alecrian royal family were ousted and erased from history. They ruled with power while giving most of the chieftains in the regions on that planet free rein, but there's been some bad omens that have been happening according to what your father wrote to me. He also said that some cold patches appeared out of nowhere in which they were signs of the eternal winter that was coming."

"I know of this because Daddy saw it in Vanizia. It used to be a good place to play, but it's now become an icebox. I hope that our homeworld is frozen forever… I hope that he stops the bad guys before they hurt more people."

"Your dad is trying his hardest to restore the Alecrian royal family. It's his contribution in which he can't ignore the protests forever."

I saw Fuyuka shedding further tears as I grabbed a tissue and wiped them from her face. Even though she was about to turn five, she was missing her family as she wanted to return to them as soon as possible, for this battle between the Four Steward Houses and the opposition was getting out of hand already. I looked at Fuyuka's care-worn face as she went through enough danger in such a young age. Still, I had to hope for Shigeru to stay safe as he was fighting against the usurpers who drove a royal line to the point of extinction, for this was something that couldn't be ignored on the sly. In the end of it all, I had to cheer up Fuyuka as she was in dire need of comfort, for she didn't deserve to be trapped in such chaos like that...

Shigeru was there in the Kingdom by the River as he was still cleaning up the wreckage where Iago wrecked everything two weeks ago. He was also combing for survivors as he was also ushering them to get to safety. The damage to such a majestic place was beyond the pale as he was mainly getting everyone to safety, for he was sensing the cold spots that have ravaged Vanizia and in Isildur. When he got towards the palace, he was looking at the damage of the throne room as he was also grateful that Futaba and Yagyu were safe on Erebor where Zama Village was at. He was also thinking about Fuyuka as she was considered to be an easy target by House Arkhelios due to their obsession in taking Elven females for their genetics, for she was safe with my family more than anything.

"I hope that you're safe with your aunt and uncle, Fuyuka," he said to himself as he was looking at a stuffed doll with yarn hair. "Iago will get his ass handed to him once we secure the true heir to the Alecrian throne, for those asshats in spacesuits caused this mess and the other Stewards did nothing but stick their thumbs up their asses."

Shigeru left the palace as he saw some of the soldiers in the opposition combing for survivors from the attack. He was also feeling the heavy burden of leadership as he was also concerned about the safety of the ones who fled from the wrath of what House Arkhelios unleashed in their wake. The terrorist attack from the Zenith Vectors and the Stewards' inability to quell it was the last straw as they also ignored the signs of the Alecrian royal family returning to power. Still, it was their hubris that was bringing their swift downfall as the cold spots appearing all over Alecrast was a sign that the gods demanded, for the true leader had to be returned or else eternal winter would freeze it forever.

"It's a real shit show here," said Owen as he arrived on his warg while sifting through the wreckage before getting off of it. "I never expected Desdemona to sic her attack dog here, but causing widespread havoc?"

"We'll try again tomorrow," said Shigeru. "As soon as we return to our hiding place near Wall Keep, the better we put a damper on the Stewards and what they stand for."

"You saw those omens from one of the oracles, didn't you?"

"They've been telling fortunes since the time of the Orc Wars, only to have their throats slit by the overlords who've ruled it since the ouster of the Alecrian royal family."

"From what I know, my old man was friends with John Winchester during the First Galvanic Uprising in which they fought tooth and nail on the battlefield, but his true lineage was scrubbed from history after the Order took him in. By the way, how are Futaba and the kids?"

"They're safe, but I had no choice but to whisk Fuyuka over to my sister's care for now."

Owen was concerned about what was going on as he was no stranger in dealing with familial troubles when it came to the wrath of conflict. He had a gut feeling that Shigeru was worried about his daughter's safety as he was also keeping his head above water in which he also had to hide in the shadows. The Stewards were getting intense in their usual crackdowns as this ravaging of the Kingdom by the River was the final straw after the terrorist attack, for Shigeru would stop at nothing to usher their downfall on the horizon.

"You better watch over her, Sammy," he said as he was hopeful in Fuyuka's safety. "It's better than having those asshats combing for her just to be another brood mare for their amusement and their Terran lineage mixed with a quarter of Elven DNA has gotten very creepy."

"You're worried about Fuyuka," said Owen.

"I didn't have a choice but to separate Fuyuka to be safe with Sis and her family, who are now taking up a temporary residence on Valinor in the village of El Anillo del Fuego. Therefore, I heard stories about how Iago violated Lyra after she lost Esteban in which she ended up pregnant, but wasn't happy when he found out she was having a girl. That was when he kicked her and caused her to miscarry in which her late husband's clan stood by her instead of the dickbag who did that to her. At that moment, he was banned from ever setting foot on Trujillo land for life in which no other member of House Arkhelios would ever come to harass anyone there again. What's even worse is that most of House Arkhelios is obsessed with the genetics of my female relatives in which they believe they can extend their lifespan to rule, but that ship is already sinking."

"That's just low… If Iago was bad, Desdemona is a lot more worse and she doesn't just go full-on Karen meltdown mode. She kills those who disagree with her in which she still dismisses the cold spots here as fake news."

"Let's hope that your clan doesn't get killed because of her. As for the rest of us, we're not giving up until we bring back the true rulers of Alecrast front and center."

Shigeru made his point clear as he went towards a wall that had a mural of a pair of silver dragons in which it was unearthed recently. It was an omen that wasn't ignored too lightly as he looked at the mural that became a lightning rod for change. Still, he prayed in front of it as he also feared the worst that was about to come. To his surprise, he felt a chill in the air as it was coming in one of the caves near the town infrastructure. When he went inside, he saw a mural that was unknown to everyone as it was none other than Dean on the throne. He was shocked to see this as he was now aware of what was about to happen next, for this was a real game changer against the Four Stewards and their waning rule.

"This changes everything…," he said. "No wonder Sam puts Dean first the whole time…"

"By the gods and Matriarch…," said Owen as he rushed to see the mural. "I bet that his unit doesn't know about this in which my old man would be proud to have the Alecrian royal family returning to this place just to thumb it in the Stewards' noses. This isn't the first time that Dean was front and center in which his past self did some crazy shit back in the Elder Days."

"And we all know that Sam's out of the running 'cause he and Sis are now the god and goddess of the Ashizoka System. As for Dean's case, he's gonna have to rush in with that Impala in which he's no stranger into kicking ass and taking names. For years, the Four Steward Houses have ruled everything here on this planet, but ended up shooting themselves in the foot for not averting that terrorist attack in the capital almost a year ago."

"It's about damn time that most of us are fighting against our overlords. Still, we have the ammunition to fight against the Four Steward Houses, but we have to be extra cautious unless we want a repeat of what happened here."

Shigeru left the cave as he went towards the waterfall where the Holy Grail was hidden in. When he went to where it was, it was encased in crystal as he also saw Torune's spirit form standing firm. He never expected his ancestor to be standing in front of him for a while as this was a sign of dangerous times, for the cold spots all over the planet became more than just coincidences.

"It's been a while," he said.

"I've come to issue a warning to the ones who have usurped this planet and erased the Winchester family from their status as the Alecrian royal family," said Torune. "House Arkhelios and the other three have slowly erased the legacy of Emperor Henry since his ouster. Therefore, the lingering prophecy of the true Emperor of Alecrast has begun in which if he hasn't returned, then all of Alecrast will suffer from the tragedy of the eternal winter that has started to plague this planet."

"I saw the signs so readily in which Vanizia has changed from a tourist mecca to a popsicle stand in less than a day. Just recently, the capital just got it's own cold spot in which the usurpers still twist it as being fake news. We all know that this shit can't continue 'cause those omens won't stop until Dean gets back here to rule Alecrast and overthrow the ass-clowns who have been ruling it for years."

"Desdemona Arkhelios and her brother have been falling out of favor after the terrorist attack that was in their capital. Still, she and the rest of the Stewards will stop at nothing to hold onto power, even if it meant by slitting the throats of oracles and fortune tellers who have read the troubling signs."

"I just gave Sam the letter while sending my daughter to him. Futaba and Yagyu are hidden away on Erebor in which they're safe in the tower that was found. I just hope to the gods that he gets Dean back here before all hell breaks loose and freezes over."

"Dean will return, for it is his destiny to overthrow House Arkhelios and those who follow them. The three remaining Steward Houses must also fall as well. House Grimaldi preserves the archives. House Maitland preserves the treasury. House Maitland preserves the economy."

"...And House Arkhelios preserves widespread destruction. They've ruled on the sidelines until that terrorist attack caused them to be fallen out of favor. We're meant to embrace change, not stray away from it. I'll do my best to usher Dean to the throne, mark my words. As for the Four Steward Houses, their time in the spotlight is over."

Shigeru watched Torune disappear without a trace as he had renewed resolve to bring back the remainder of the Alecrian royal family. Still, he had to keep going as he vowed to overthrow the Four Stewards before things got out of hand too much, for the threat of an eternal winter was just the beginning of everyone's woes…

Fuyuka was busy looking into the backyard as she was staring at the playground where most of the children were playing. She loved to play, but she was also suffering from separation anxiety as she also missed Futaba and Yagyu, who were far away from the chaos on her homeworld. She was also missing Shigeru as she would soon reunite with him once the chaos was drawn away in which she wanted to return home, but not now. All she was doing was swinging on one of the swings as she was trying not to think too hard about what was going on, for she was also safe from harm.

"I wish that I went with Mommy and Yagyu," she said to herself as she continued to sit on the swing.

Fuyuka was still worried about her mother and brother as she wanted to go to Erebor to see them, but was forbidden by Shigeru, who was concerned for her safety due to her appearance that was akin to what Reiko looked like when she was younger. Before she got here, she was sent away to us as her father had his reasons to keep her there instead of being targeted by the sickening machinations from House Arkhelios. What she didn't expect was that Sona was there as she wanted to get to know her in which she didn't want her to be alone, for she refused to let her be sad at this time.

"You seem far from home," she said.

"I miss Mommy and Yagyu," said Fuyuka.

"I bet that you got sent here and not the rest of your family…"

"Daddy sent me here because there were some bad people who were wanting to steal me. He didn't do it on purpose, but he also didn't want me to be taken away by the bad people who made a mess out of the Kingdom by the River. As for Mommy and Yagyu, I hope that they're okay…"

"By the way, my name's Sona and you must be Fuyuka. I heard Sam talking about how your dad's been going up against those bad people who wrecked your home."

"Daddy's been fighting hard to restore a royal family to the throne and there's been some bad cold spots on our homeworld."

"Cold spots…?" Fuyuka nods. "I've heard so much about Alecrast, but having it cursed by winter?"

It wasn't long until Reiko was outside as she was noticing Fuyuka trying to hold it together. She never expected her niece to be so sad as she was still missing her family. Even Sona looked at her as she was still sniffling from all that crying while worrying about everyone back home, for she was in dire need of having comfort while being away from her family.

"She's still feeling sad," she said. "I hope that she's okay… I also hope that her mom and brother are safe in which they're hidden away from those bad people that I heard about."

"It's because she misses her parents and little brother," said Reiko. "I hope that Shigeru's okay…"

"There were some bad people wanting to steal me," said Fuyuka. "Daddy sent me here so I could be safe with you and Uncle Sam."

"It was House Arkhelios, wasn't it?" Fuyuka nods. "They are part of the Stewards, but they also steep in cruelty in which they have an obsession with our Elven genetics. Therefore, those from House Arkhelios are not welcome here because Lady Lyra stood firm to prevent those bad people from coming here. They won't hurt you here, for Lady Lyra won't allow them here against the wishes of the public."

"You're safe here, so there's no need to worry," said Sona. "By the way, we'll be having some lunch that consists of Peruvian tamales. They're really good in which you should try one."

Fuyuka heard her stomach growling as she was starting to get a little hungry after all that has happened. Even though she was a little homesick and missed the cooking all over the place in which she was encouraged by her parents to be a little independent and not be spoiled too much. Still, she was the firstborn and the apple in Shigeru's eye as he also didn't want her out in the open too much, for she was in safe hands after all…

Shigeru returned to his hideout in Wall Keep as he was walking towards Colchuvar's grave. He was also praying in front of it as he was also concerned about the dangers that he was risking. The continued protests against the Four Stewards have gotten louder as he remembered the separation anxiety that Fuyuka was experiencing, for he was also doing his best to shield her from the prying eyes of House Arkhelios. When he went inside of the main house, he was greeted by Somnus as he was mainly an Orc who was even taller than the average person in his family. Speaking of Somnus, he was the younger brother of Albus as he was also a family man who had his sons that were in hiding as he also missed them, for he was also cautious of his own surroundings as well.

"Separation anxiety?" said Shigeru.

"Hadassa and our sons have been hidden by other family members here," said Somnus. "As for my other problem, I have to deal with those winged terrors who do nothing but try to yank me away from this fortress."

"What are you talking about?"

"When I was still fighting to protect Wall Keep with your sister still looking out for everyone, I end up getting struck by lightning in which I read every single Enochian form of writing that was in some of those old textbooks that were salvaged by the Draaza."

"You're a prophet of the Lord, aren't you?"

"It's been like that for a while, but with Albus dead from those fiends who showed up in Isildur and caused that terrorist attack, Moro was distraught in which I had no choice but to send her to her sister and her family along with the little ones in tow. I hope that she finds someone to protect them after all that has happened."

"Moro's toughing it out, but she'll be fine. As for my own problems, I hate separating Fuyuka from the her mom and brother, but I won't take that risk of her being tracked down by House Arkhelios in general. From what I heard, those asshats have the gall to compare her to Sis in which some of them have the gall to even 'make her into a real woman that's great in bed.' I couldn't let my daughter fall victim to them in which they don't just use sex to procreate or gain pleasure, but for power over the weak. And do you know what's even worse? I notice a retainer from House Arkhelios masturbating in front of a picture of Fuyuka when she had her birthday party last year. What's also horrifying was that they were targeting Futaba just to snatch our little girl in which they don't know about Erebor yet."

"You were doing your best to protect your daughter. I know for a fact that she's in good hands in which another prophet is there where she is, but he has two winged terrors backing away from stealing him. For the record, you've been pulling the weight of bringing the opposition to fruition after the Stewards did nothing to lift a finger to avert the terrorist attack in which they refuse to fork over power with a peaceful gesture. The Stewards won't be taken lightly because of the fact that their arrogance over the years of ignoring the prophecy of an Emperor returning to the Alecrian throne."

"And we all know that winter is coming…"

Shigeru heard his vidphone vibrating as he looked at it in which he was thinking about Futaba and Yagyu, who were on Erebor for safety reasons. When he answered it, he was thrilled to do so as he was missing them so much, for he wanted to talk freely until the next observation all over Alecrast. Still, he had to do his part in watching over his family as he also didn't want them to be caught in the crossfire, for they were everything to him in this dark time.

"Hello?" he said.

"Shigeru?" said Futaba over the phone.

"I'm glad that I can hear you after all that has happened."

"I know… None of us saw this coming in which Desdemona's forces came to ravage our home all because they were wanting to molest Fuyuka."

"At least she's safe 'cause House Arkhelios is banned from setting foot on Trujillo land on Valinor after what Iago did to Lyra after losing her husband. It sucks that I had to separate her from you and Yagyu, but—"

"—You did the right thing, Shigeru. Our daughter's safety came first in which I'm hopeful that Sam and Reiko will take her in. Still, I'm safe on Erebor with Yagyu, but I'm surrounded by some of the people who used to live in Sgriccia that have taken up residence in Zama Village."

"As soon as I put those asshats in their place, the bette we'll be reunited in full. I love you, even when you're dressed up in your burlesque outfits, for I will see you again."

"I love you, too… And Shigeru…, take care and stay safe…"

Shigeru hung up as he was shedding a single tear. His heart ached for the return of his family as he was also at a crossroads when it came to fighting against the Four Stewards who were slowly slipping from power. Still, he was hoping for Dean's return as he was more than likely to be beckoning him to get to the throne, for the time for the eternal winter coming was running out…

Fuyuka was in the dining area as she was enjoying her food that was made for lunch. The taste of the tamales wrapped in banana leaves were very good as she found them to be tasty after being sad since her arrival. To her surprise, she noticed Sona coming into the dining area as she had some more tamales that were there in which there was too much made, for they were the saving grace of healing the separation anxiety that she had. After she finished up her food, she took her plate and fork into the kitchen as she put it into the sink. By the time she washed them and put them into the dish drainer, she was ready to leave the kitchen until she saw me enter with some chicken for tonight's dinner, for it was a way for me to keep my niece comfortable.

"We're having a little bit of Peruvian chicken for dinner complete with a rice recipe," I said.

"I never saw anything like it before," said Fuyuka.

"It's a godsend that your father sent you here, but he also could've sent your mother and brother."

"He couldn't risk me being taken away by those bad people. He even said that you saved him from a demon that was lurking in the potty."

"Well, this place is warded against possible threats in which no harm could come to you, for Lyra is always there for her people here in this village and Trujillo Clan homestead."

"Whatever you're doing, you're crossing the line!"

I heard Dirithi yelling as I left the dining area and went towards the main hall. I noticed her arguing with an older man as he was dressed in noble clothing. I never saw him before as he was mainly there for no reason other than to argue with whoever answered the door. Still, I had to mediate with the situation at hand as I also had to make sure that no further conflict would attack our peace of mind, for I had to tolerate it just like the rest of us.

"You can't just whisk me away from this home, Tobin," said Dirithi as she was blocking the doorway. "You know that I can't stand your slimy son because of his disregard for those who have been disabled or fallen on hard times."

"And you keep putting it off after the death of your husband and child!" he yelled as he slapped her in the face. "Ever since you lost Kavinar and your unborn brat, you've been putting off marriage in which you're spitting in their faces. Even your brother demands that you marry or else there will be consequences for your actions. You can't put off marriage forever, Dirithi! You should consider the future for your sons before you play wetnurse to some affair babies that aren't your own! And yet, you give them your milk that was intended for the child you lost!"

"They're not affair babies, Tobin! Their mothers happen to be Aloysia and Te'Katri Webber who lost their lives defending Skald Island against the Blues. Their family needs me! My sons need me! As for what you're doing, it's not working, so I suggest that you leave before I tell Lyra!"

Tobin was ready to slap Dirithi again until I stepped in and stopped him. I couldn't let him do that to her as I also didn't want him to drag the quadruplets in the mud nor the mothers who gave their lives to protect Skald Island. I had to put my foot down as I couldn't let him intrude on our lives, for all he did was act like the snob he was.

"Don't you dare dishonor the memory of the fallen," I said.

"I know of you very well because my son ended up thrown in a pull-cart full of manure three days ago!" yelled Tobin. "He was even excommunicated by his church after his congregation turned on him over cake!"

"You're just like your son just to intrude on our lives for no reason. As for the so-called 'affair babies,' they're thriving in which they also have the genetics of their mothers who did their duty to protect those who had no voice! Their sacrifice never went in vain, but their children that were put into me are not at fault in this. If you want to blame something, then blame the moron who's rotting in prison for committing medical rape! As for you harassing Dirithi, you will cease and desist in which she's still grieving over the loss of her husband and baby while taking care of her sons."

"Dirithi will marry into the Brackenstall family because if she doesn't, then her sons will end up in an orphanage where all the throwaway children belong."

"The answer is no, Tobin," she said. "Why can't you respect my boundaries when I'm still grieving for my loved ones? Why can't you leave me alone in peace while I'm trying to recover from what happened to me? If you had family members that you cared about, you should consider their happiness first before shifting things. As for me being wed to your slimy son, it's not happening!"

We saw Tobin leave in disgust as he was still not too happy with Dirithi's rebellion against him. Even though she was grieving, she refused to take another spouse as she cared about her sons so much in which they were all they had with her late husband. I was happy that the elderly nobleman got his comeuppance, but I also had to make sure that he wouldn't sully anyone else's honor after what I heard earlier, for Dirithi needed to grieve first before going into another relationship.

"I'm sorry that you had to hear this, Sam," she said to me.

"I don't want him in the house if he continues to abuse those beneath him, especially women," I said.

"Tobin Brackenstall is pure trash! Just because he's a landowner, doesn't mean that he can rule our lives, for he's living on Trujillo land."

"I already met his son who got excommunicated from his church for his cruel treatment of the disabled and the downtrodden. He even got humiliated with the cakes I made in which they weren't for the faint of heart."

It wasn't long until we saw the door open again as a Va'Kihri man rushed in to greet Dirithi. He was similar to Te'Katri with his teal comb and blue eyes as he was also a war orphan who was smitten for the widowed Draaza who had fended off the misogynistic landowner earlier. Still, he was there for a reason as he later noticed me out in the open due to the fact that I gave birth a few weeks ago, for he was there to salute me out of the blue.

"Almighty Fa'Uluur, thank you for showing him greatness to his part in carrying my sister's ovum to term," he said as he knelt. "I salute you for standing up to that asshat who just left earlier."

"There's no need for adulation here," I said.

"My sister gave her life along with her wife in which their sacrifice to stop Bertram Blackthorne's forces back in the day. As for my own predicament, I'm mainly a Nephilim, but my late parents would also smile at your resilience in which you even dedicate your time to your children. As for me, I've also been struggling since Josie passed away from cancer. All I have are my daughters who lost their mom, but I've also known Dirithi since we were kids."

"I'm sorry that you had to see this, Te'Kurvna," she said.

"Uncle Sam," said Fuyuka as she rushed out into the main hall. "You should tell everyone about the cake that's shaped like a funny-looking rocket ship."

I was embarrassed to hear what Fuyuka said as I also noticed Dirithi and Te'Kurvna laughing at what they heard. They were no strangers to seeing dirty jokes as it was a breath of fresh air in which they were glad to not deal with Tobin's entitlement. Still, I couldn't get mad at Fuyuka as she was definitely Shigeru's little girl due to her quirks and no filter. When I noticed her rush towards Dirithi, she wanted her to have a relationship with Te'Kurvna as he was also grieving for the loss of a loved one, for they had to start slowly first.

"You're a lot like your daddy, Fuyuka Mitani," said Te'Kurvna. "Therefore, I hope that he fares well against the scumbag who harmed Lady Lyra."

"Daddy hates that man!" yelled Fuyuka. "He wants to kick his butt for trying to steal me in which he saw one grown-up was doing dirty stuff while holding a picture of me. If I were with Mommy and Yagyu, then I would end up putting them at risk. Coming here is a safer option because the people that Daddy hates aren't allowed here."

"That much is true," I said. "Still, I hope to the gods that Shigeru is safe. I've heard horror stories on how Iago Arkhelios has the gall to beat up women except for his sister, Desdemona. Sooner or later, the opposition will overthrow House Arkhelios and restore the Alecrian royal family to their rightful place on our homeworld."

"Oh, I forgot to give this to you," said Te'Kurvna as he gave me another package. "It's from Shigeru, but he's also making sure that his little girl is safe from harm."

I opened up the package as I saw another set of cake pans that had different shapes. I also saw some more cake mixes and frostings inside as they mainly had the image of Dolly Parton on the boxes. Still, Shigeru was mainly an aficionado of cake mixes as he was basically the opposite of Dean and all his pies. Even Fuyuka saw the cake mixes as she was squealing with joy that she saw the Dolly Parton boxes that were there, for she wanted to make them on her upcoming birthday.

"Daddy didn't forget!" she said as she was looking at the cake mixes. "It's a good thing that he's thinking about me, but I hope that he gets some cake for Mommy and Yagyu."

"And here's another letter," I said as I found it in the package.

I opened it up as it was yet another letter from Shigeru in which he was still keeping his head above water during his fight against the Four Stewards. My heart ached for him as he was struggling to hide in the shadows in which he was also aware of what House Arkhelios was capable of, for this was getting out of hand indeed.

Hey, Sammy (It read),

I've just gave you this letter to give you the heads-up on the situation involving the Four Steward Houses. Yeah, I've been thinking about Fuyuka and why I've sent her to you and Sis. Before those asshats decided to ravage our home, one of Iago's retainers had a sick obsession into "making Fuyuka a real woman who's great in bed" in which he was caught in the act masturbating while holding a picture of my little girl in his hand. That was the last straw when I had to send her to you. If I ended up sending her with Futaba and Yagyu, she would've been taken away on sight by Iago's henchmen in which they were watching them in public. The "better half" and our boy are safe on Erebor in which the place they're in is heavily warded due to it being put there, which I'm thankful for.

Still, there's been the presence of the Zenith Vectors in which I survived an attack, but the perp became a meal, thanks to Bad Luck Benny coming and going. I know that we all have a habit hunting suckheads, but at least we have an honest one due to what he went through in the Elder Days. Even though he up and left the scene, I have a gut feeling that we're not safe after having our home gutted by Iago's forces. Anyway, there's been some cold spots that haven't gone away in which I also found a mural that had Dean being the rightful ruler of our homeworld. I also saw a pair of twin silver dragons in which it denotes something a little more divine. Furthermore, I'll give you further reports, but for now, I'm baking a cake until the next run.

Sincerely from your brother-in-law and best friend,

Shigeru Mitani.

I spotted a pair of pictures in the letter as I saw the murals clearly. Still, Dean was the rightful ruler of Alecrast as everyone in front of me were astonished to see the picture I held up. Even Fuyuka was happy to see that as she gave the proverbial thumbs-up with her blessing, for she was also glad that Shigeru was doing his best to topple the Four Steward Houses…
