-HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE screamed all the people present in the living room of the Powell manor

-Happy New Year Fleamont cried Alexis, putting his arm on the shoulders of the Potter

-Happy New Year Alexis replied Fleamont with a big smile on his lips then he raised his glass to toast to the first new year of my goddaughter and my godson Alvala Juda Powell and Jude Alvion Powell who are the pride of their parents

The smiles of the two parents grew and Alexis took Fleamont in a friendly hug.

-Thank you Fleamont breathed Alexis thank you for being my friend for 20 years

-The pleasure is all mine my brother

Their wives who were not far away sipping a glass of champagne looked at each other with a big tender smile on their lips, with a knowing look, Euphemia and Carmen approached their husbands.

Carmen in turn took Fleamont in her arms and whispered a thank you in his ear.

-I suggest we make a toast to our 20 years of friendship said Euphemia

-Excellent idea Carmen enthused

-To our 20 years of friendship they said together raising their glasses then they looked at their husbands with a reproachful look.

The men smiled knowingly.

-why not exclaimed Fleamont

-yes huh, then I say to our 20 years and to all the pranks we played at Hogwarts said Alexis raising his glasses a mischievous smile hanging on his lips.

Fleamont held back from bursting into laughter.

-To our 20 years of friendship and to all our pranks

Unable to hold back any longer the two lifelong accomplices burst out laughing until they had tears in their eyes holding their abs in pain, under the half tender half angry gaze of their wife ex prefect of their states

Alvala and Jude playing quietly with wooden blocks, apparently trying to build a tower, the little girl and the little boy of 2 years and 9 months were very intelligent despite their young age.

Often their mother, Carmen, remarked that Alvala and Jude were ahead of their age, the little girl and boy often understood complex things such as language, the little girl was 1 year old starting to speak her brother had followed her just a few days later and now they express themselves as well as adults, Alexis and Carmen had noticed that the two children often communicated with each other and needed words, their twin bond was very strong and they were very attached to each other.

A clap of thunder was heard making Alvala jump, Jude put his little chubby hand on that of his twin as if to reassure her, Carmen watched with a worried eye the sky getting darker and faster, smiling softly the young mother of 30 years old got up to pick up her daughter and her son understand that the storm was not far away.

She could already hear her sweet husband, Alexis, begging her to come home as soon as possible with Alvala and Jude, she loved her husband but sometimes he was so overprotective that she was suffocating.

Suddenly dizzy Carmen just caught herself on the terrace railing where she was, a violent cough came to shake her then her vision went black and she sank into unconsciousness.

Alvala and Jude, terrified by the storm, began to tremble and then cried at the sound of lightning, the wind blew violently, the trees twisted and many branches broke and then flew away carried by the wind, all making a deafening din, Jude stood up with difficulty on his feet still holding the hand of his I immortalize before approaching his sleeping mother he shook her slightly then Alvala and he began to call her while crying.

-Mom? ...sniff... Mom? ..sniff..Mom I'm scared I want to go home...sniff

Seeing that it didn't work, Jude pulled his sister then they started to run following the path of small stones towards the Powell mansion where their father must be waiting for them, dying of worry.

The rain began to fall, running as fast as their little chubby and short child legs would allow them, Alvala and Jude were crying and calling for their father, the raindrops were bloodying their faces, blinding them, Alvala got her feet caught in her dress which tore, the little girl fell dragging her brother onto the stones, they scraped their knees, cried even more, Jude managed to get up and help his twin.

They arrived at the door of the manor, Jude knocked with all his meager strength still holding his twin's hand.

The door opened quickly on his father whose worries soared seeing his son and daughter in tears soaked and covered in mud with scraped knees, Alvala had her pretty little flowered dress all dirty and torn, he fell to his knees hugging his children.

-Alvala Jude, by all the gods, what happened? where is mom? why isn't she with you?

The little girl and the little boy cried and stuttered and explained in turn what had happened.

Leaving Alvala and Jude with the nurse, Alexis and his elves rushed to look for Carmen.

A lovely brunette with blue eyes entered the hospital room where Carmen was staying.

-Euphemia said Carmen delighted that her best friend was coming to see her

Her gaze filled with sorrow and the gentle treatments on her face reflected only a powerful sadness, Euphemia stepped forward then she let herself fall on the chair placed next to Carmen's bed she began to cry

-So it's true you are really sick I didn't believe the letter that Alexis sent me...I..I..thought it was a joke heavy sobs punctuated the end of Euphemia's sentence

Carmen took her friend in her arms whispering reassuring words and encouragement to her

When Euphemia had calmed down Carmen explained the situation to her, the room plunged into a heavy silence.

-how long? she asked, dreading the answer though

-4 months or 5 now

The room fell silent again then Carmen cut him off

-Euphemia

Euphemia tears flowed down this day.

Alvala and Jude were running down the hospital hallways.

Jude gently pushed open the door to the room where their mother was.

-mom look we made you a drawing

Carmen took the drawing in her hands trembling

The drawing represented four small characters in front of a mansion above each of the characters a name was written "Mom, Dad, Jude Alva"

-it's when you're going to come home it's Jude who had the idea look, dad smiled explained the little girl of almost three years old there it's you there it's dad, there it's Jude

June 1, 1964

Carmen took her daughter in her arms there gently hugging her, Jude sitting on a chair near the drawn bed.

-Alva do you know where the people who leave us when they die go?

-no, where do they go? Asked Alvala

-you see at night, the sky is covered with little points of light.

-yes it's true, I like it a lot, it's beautiful

-yes it's true

-but what does it have to do with the people who leave? Asked Jude

-well these little points of light are called stars and when a person dies they turn into a star.

-wow is that true?

Carmen nodded

-if one day I die I will turn into a star and you will be able to see me every night

-but I don't want you to die Alva pouted

-don't worry

June 4, 1965

-Jude give me your hand please

The little boy held out his hand

-here

-thank you, Carmen smiled nostalgically as she grew I remember when she was as big as my thumb

-whuaoh she was really small so Alva laughed as she approached her twin she held out her hand and placed it on her twin's

June 10, 1965

-I'm sorry Mr. Powell your wife left us in the night

June 12, 1965

Alva and Jude held their father's hands as the procession slowly surrounded their mother's coffin.

Her father dressed all in black, advanced with a closed face, his large Jade eyes filled with sorrow.

Alva wore a white shirt over a simple black long-sleeved vest that protected her from the cold and a skirt that reached her knees, a white rose in her right hand.

Jude wore black shorts, a white shirt under a long black coat he also held a white rose in his left hand.

-we are gathered today to mourn the death of Carmen Lucie Powell she was a mother, a wife and a devoted friend who will remain in our hearts forever and ...

The speech continued but Alva no longer listened.

At the end of the speech all the people who had come to say goodbye to Carmen advanced towards the coffin.

Alva and Jude suffocating, all these people coming to say goodbye to their mom, who present their condolences to her father and to her, make her want to cry.

dad hasn't smiled since mom was sick* thought Alva *godmother Euphemia and godfather Fleamont too, mom told me that they would find their smile again when she came back but she won't come back now*

this thought terrified her, leaving, she had to leave she took her twin's hand.

-Dad I'm going for a walk in the garden.

her father didn't answer but their godmother did.

-okay don't go too far, it's almost dark so not long are you going with Jude? replied Euphemia a sad look painted on her features eyes red from crying like Alexis and Fleamont

Alva nodded and pulled her twin then walked away towards the backyard of the house.

she dragged Jude away then she made him sit under the weeping sun of the large Powell garden, after a while they fell asleep against each other exhausted.

When she opened her eyes it was dark readjusting her glasses Alva got up.

we have to hurry back before we worry*

She looked up at the sky and she was overwhelmed by the beauty of the sky of immense black clouds made it all even more beautiful

one star in particular caught her attention it seemed to shine brighter than the others this star made her think of her bright and warm mother.

-mom she breathed

A soft wind made her long copper hair flutter, and Alva heard her mother's laughter then

-take care of your father and your brother my little Alva, continue to make people laugh and smile as you do so well

August 4, 1968

-MISS POWELL MR POWELL COME BACK HERE AT ONCE YOU MUST RESUME YOUR LESSONS IN A GOOD MANNER the housekeeper of the manor shouted from the living room of the Powell manor, her face red ALVALA JUDA POWELL JUDE ALVION POWELL IF YOU ...

The name suddenly appeared before their nurse a look of hangdog, which makes you turn your heart, painted on their beautiful faces.

The girl had long copper hair cascading down to her back and her twin had ruffled black hair.

the housekeeper jumped and put a hand on her heart a look of terror painted on her face then quickly recovered from her surprise the old lady immediately began to lecture the two 5 year old Powell twins on the importance for the Powell heirs to learn by heart their lessons of good behavior.

Alexis, who entered the room at that moment, couldn't help but laugh at the scene, his daughter and his 7-year-old son huddled together before the wrath of the old nanny, he tried to hide his laughter behind a belt of more or less successful coughs.

He looked away when the governess, not fooled, shot him with her onyx black eyes.

His gaze fell on his daughter who looked at him with her huge jade irises identical to his with the same rectangular glasses, begging him with her eyes to get her out of the governess' clutches.

His twin had the same look, without the glasses however, calmer than his sister he nevertheless had the gift to attract trouble.

He cleared his throat.

-My dear, I think I just saw one of your maids looking for you, you should go and join her, he said in a voice that he hoped was not mocking.

The nanny sighed then turned on her heel and left the living room.

-Phew thanks daddy, I love nana but she's seriously starting to bore me with her lessons in good manners

Alexis and Jude burst out laughing, at the little girl's disillusioned smile.

-What do you say to flying a little with your old dad

A big smile melted the face of Alva and Jude who rushed into the arms of their father

-with pleasure they cried in perfect disbelief

The three left the manor by running from the manor towards the Quidditch field with the famous "the last one to arrive at the field has lost"

They spent long hours flying so much so that when they came back down night began to fall.

While Jude and Alva argued over which of the two had scored the most points, Alexis agreeing with his son, a large silhouette materialized before their astonished eyes.

Alexis took out his wand, worried and pushed Alva and Jude behind him, watching the stranger with a half-worried, half-furious look.

The intruder removed his hood revealing a woman in her twenties with blond hair and big stormy gray eyes

-Hello Alexis, my name is Athena, I am one of the goddesses of Olympus but you must already know that

-The goddess? Alexis breathed, he lowered his wand then knelt down, what do you want?

The goddess looked at him for a moment then she turned to Alva and Jude who were standing a little back, watching the stranger with an intrigued look

-By the next full moon, the powers that sleep in you will awaken and you should learn to control them or risk hurting the people you care about.

Horrified Alva looked at his hands in horror

-why did you tell them that? Alexis cried, hugging Alva with an arm around Jude's shoulders.

Alva hugged his father's shoulder and then took a deep breath, chasing away his fear.

-there is a way for us to control our powers, isn't there? Alva said

Athena smiled, amused and delighted by the little girl's quick wit.

-there is a way for you to learn to use your powers and that's why I'm here.

-and what is that way? Jude asked

-Alva and Jude are promised to do great things, the goddess interrupted herself, that's why the other Gods and I as well as Lady Magic decided to offer you to join the Belladonna order where you would learn to fight and control yourself, we also offer you to protect your father.

Alvala Juda Powell and Jude Alvion Powell Do you agree to serve the gods and Lady Magic by joining the Belladonna order? If you want, we can give you a week to think about it

Alva and Jude looked at each other then they turned to their father who watched the scene helplessly.

-No need, the two Twins said together

Alva and Jude took a breath and put one knee on the ground bowed their heads

-I Alvala Juda Powell agree to be part of the Belladonna in exchange for protection for my father and control of my powers that will awaken at the next full moon

-I Jude Alvion Powell agree to be part of the Belladonna in exchange for protection for my father and control of my powers that will awaken at the next full moon

-welcome to the order young people
