- Welcome to the order young people
We continue:
Dear diary
Hello my name is Alvala Juda Powell but I prefer Alva.
I decided to write a diary in order to write down my thoughts.
This time I feel both lost and complete it's so strange and contradictory
Two weeks ago the Goddess Athena came to tell me that my twin and I were destined to do great things
but also that soon, at the next full moon, more precisely, powerful powers will awaken in us.
Powers that could turn against us and hurt the people we care about.
I'm afraid of these powers.
I'm afraid of hurting someone.
That's why we agreed to join the belladonnas.
I hope it will be the right choice.
So many questions come to me and remain unanswered.
What will our powers be?
Will we be able to control them?
Will they be too powerful?
But the real question is who do we get them from?
Jude and I searched in vain but we found nothing about belladonnas and the gods in the library of the Powell mansion.
So knowing this, two more questions come to me.
How could Dad know that the goddess Athena was going to come find us?
How could he even know the Olympic gods?
Dad is hiding something from us.
He knew.
And for two weeks he has avoided us and stayed locked in his room.
(the day before the full moon)
Alva closed the newspaper, her gaze lost in space then she sighed, the full moon was the next day, she had to concentrate on their powers.
-Are you okay? her twin breathed
She was tired, since the Goddess had come to announce the activation of their cursed powers they had hardly left the library in the hope of knowing where their powers came from.
and what kind of power will they be "telekinesis? Point of light? Control of an element? Unlikely for the last one thought Alva".
She nodded
-just a bit of stress it's tomorrow what
Jude nodded before resuming reading his book.
-I'm going up breathed Alva I'm going to rest will you come with me?
-I'll join you give less time to tidy up
-okay
Since the Powell's main library had yielded nothing, Alva and Jude had decided to do some research in their mother's personal library.
But for that they had to wait until nightfall.
Giving yet another sigh, she left the library and headed towards their room.
Ha the Powell mansion is without a doubt a masterpiece of architecture it is big, very big, it is also very open and bright thanks to its large windows and its bay windows. Thought Alva
Thinking about their plan Alva drew up a mental plan of the mansion
The mansion is composed of four very distinct parts, the basement where dad's office is and the main library where I was,
then there is the ground floor where the kitchen is, the living room, the dining room and finally the hall where the staircase leading to the first floor is.
where mom's office is, dad's bedroom "and formerly mom's too" between these two rooms are two doors.
The first leading to the third floor where the guest rooms are and a hidden staircase that leads to the top floor of the mansion the attic.
And the second door leads to our bedroom which is the tower of the mansion.
Shaking her head she let her gaze slide over the closed door of her father's room, before turning her doorknob and quickly climbing the spiral staircase that leads to their room, after 2 minutes of walking she reaches her pretty forest green door that bore the initials in gold letters of her twin and her "A.J.P." and "J.A.P"
Opening the door Alva went back into their den then she lay down on their bed and let her eyes wander and detail her room.
The room was round, "being in a tower it sure couldn't be square sneers Alva at the stupidity of her first thought"
The wall is painted the same dark green as the door, it was half hidden by their already well-stocked little library, posters of their favorite Quidditch teams, a large wardrobe that took up a lot of space and was so full that it could dress the two twins for 2 years without ever wearing the same clothes twice,
and finally the room has in addition to the bed where the two Twins sleep together, a small stone fireplace where a constant fire warms the room and finally the desk where books, three frames and two brooms, a comet 1007 and a shooting star 45, placed against.
Behind the wooden canopy bed with green and white sheets a huge bay window that overlooks the forest
And finally to the right of the windows next to the wardrobe the ebony wood door that leads to the second part of the room which has a 360 balcony.
Without even realizing it, the fatigue accumulated over the last few weeks took over and Alva fell asleep.
She didn't even feel her twin lie down and fall asleep next to her a few minutes later
(In the night)
Startling Alva sat up, glancing outside through her bay window, Alva saw the crescent moon soon full high in the sky, it was pitch black
Swearing, the 6-year-old girl, almost 7, quickly got out of bed, it was time to put their plan into action, raising her arm she checked the time on her watch, the dial indicating 1:23 a.m.
Perfect she thought
She gently shook Jude who straightened up, ruffling his black hair even more
He yawned then got out of bed and signaled to Alva that he was ready.
Taking a deep breath Alva slowly turned her doorknob then she and Jude slipped silently down the spiral staircase.
Arriving at the door at the bottom of the stairs, they became even quieter then Jude turned the handle as long and silently as possible.
Once the door was open they crept towards the second door opposite their father's door, towards their goal, their mother's office.
Jude reached out towards the solid wood door then turned the silver handle.
The door opened slowly with a very slight creak that made poor Alva tense even more and the little redhead threw a worried glance towards her father's room, Jude reassured her with a look.
They rushed back inside the office as silent as their fears allowed them.
Alva gently closed the door under Jude's watchful gaze then they turned away.
In front of them a huge oak desk stood and a little further their objective their mother's personal library.
Several hours of searching later, Alva and Jude had found nothing, certainly the library was full of interesting books but none of them dealt with what they had come to look for, morale at its lowest she checked the time, 4:12 in the morning she opened her eyes wide and pointed to the dial to her brother, swearing Alva and Jude quickly put away the books, took them out and headed for the door about to give up.
When suddenly, as Alva took a last look at the library, a ray of moonlight passed through the office window and lit up the library making a book shine with a gray glow.
She pulled her brother's sleeve and pointed to the book.
Jude nodded and rushing he grabbed the book, he returned to Alva triumphant.
As Alva went to open it, a slight sound of footsteps reached her from outside the office, panicked, hiding the book under her skirt, Jude pushed her to hide under the desk, their hearts beating they remained silent.
The footsteps were heard again before stopping and then starting again.
Waiting a few minutes to be sure that no one was there, Alva and Jude left the office running silently then they climbed the spiral staircase that led to their room four at a time.
Their hearts beating a thousand miles an hour Alva and Jude let themselves fall on their four-poster bed having taken care to close the door before, they looked at the book they had taken from the library.
The adrenaline leaving them little by little they calmed down slowly then exhausted they fell asleep
(the day of the full moon)
Here is the full moon arrived thought Alva
In front of the wardrobe the little girl looked for what she should wear today.
Alva not knowing where the Belladonnas were, she opted for a simple and practical outfit white shirt, brown shorts and a pair of black sneakers perfect for walking completed her outfit.
Her twin opted for a similar outfit except that he put on brown pants instead of shorts
Once dressed Alva looked at the black watch she wore on her wrist "1:23 p.m." indicated her boss, taking their bag placed on the dresser in their room, they hurried down to the entrance hall of the Powell manor.
Waiting for them in the hall are her nanny and the two house elves.
Alva hugged her nurse tenderly, the poor nurse was crying all the tears in her body, then she hurried to gently hug the two house elves, Nanao and Josie.
Jude was content to shake their hands
The day of the full moon had arrived before they could find the answer to her questions, she and Jude had not had time to open the book found in her mother's private library, so it was with a sparkling look of worry, a brain filled with questions and a heart loaded with apprehension that Alva and Jude waited for the young Satyr that the Goddess Athena had sent to look for them.
The young girl had barely let go Nanao and Josie heard discreet knocks on the door.
Alva looked up sadly at the stairs leading to the first floor, her father, Alexis, had not come to say goodbye to them.
Sighed Jude opened the door dragged his twin outside and they joined the satyr, the door still open, allowed Alva to greet the inhabitants of the manor one last time, then the satyr and the two children set off.
They went deeper and deeper into the woods that bordered the manor, twenty minutes of walking later they arrived in front of a fence one and a half meters high, the limits of Powell's property.
The Satyr passed it with some difficulty but he passed it or rather he jumped it from Alva's point of view, the poor satyr fell on his buttocks upon landing, the two Powells despite the stress they felt could not help but laugh slightly, his humor returning little by little, the Satyr turned to them and motioned for him to come, the shadow of a smile on his lips, seem a little embarrassed to have fallen.
Alva and Jude joined him in less than two seconds, skillfully climbing the fences then they let themselves fall gracefully on their feet alongside the Satyr, he shook his head, his curly brown hair falling over his amber eyes in front of the half-amused, half-arrogant smile of the two friends.
-Alva she said while holding out her hand
-Jude
-Eden smiled at the Satyr while shaking their outstretched hands.
After two good hours of walking in the forest Eden stopped in front of a huge oak tree that seemed very old.
He held out his hand towards the trunk and with his other hand he signaled to his traveling companions to move away, intrigued the twins complied.
Eden raised both his hands then in a soft whisper he said
-Οι προθέσεις μας είναι αγνές, παρακαλώ αφήστε μας να περάσουμε
Alva and Jude opened their eyes wide astonished as the enormous trunk of the oak contorted, bent then opened in two revealing a sort of moving translucent mirror.
The barely perceptible reflection, returned the image of an immense tower in rough stone lined with small houses of varying shape and size like a tiny village where silent silhouettes moved, subjugating Alva and Jude came closer.
-Alva Jude I present to you one of the doors that leads to the Belladonna sanctuary Eden interrupted herself by smiling frankly at the half shocked half amazed expression of the redhead So let's go
Alva shook her head then she blinked.
-we'll go through there said Alva in a hesitant voice saying out loud what his twin was thinking
-yes let's go I don't want to be late
Alva nodded in agreement
Eden walked towards the "door" then he jumped with both feet or rather with both hooves into the mirror, when he jumped the reflection of the mirror blurred erasing the image of the sanctuary, then adorned itself with the colors of the rainbow.
Alva and Jude gasped when the Satyr disappeared into the mirror and watched with a worried look as the portal changed, for a moment that seemed like an eternity the mirror remained blurred, before the reflection of the tower and the small village reappeared, the only thing that changed was that Eden had appeared on the other side and beckoned him to come
Jude walked first and with an encouraging look towards his sister he jumped into the portal.
The redhead took a deep breath then taking her courage in both hands she jumped in turn in the door closing her eyes.
The feeling felt was strange very strange, Alva had the pressure of passing in the pipe slides of a water amusement park, the wet buttocks as a bonus, but it was impossible right? to assure her she opened her eyes timidly.
The spectacle she witnessed left her perplexed and amazed, she actually slid in a kind of pipe suspended in the black void of space, scattered a little everywhere in this void of millions of stars, little by little her slide accelerated and after a few seconds she was going so fast that the luminous points that were the stars became rays of light looking in front of her, she saw a fixed light that was approaching quickly.
the light at the end of the tunnel as Alva said thought mockingly
The closer the light got the more it blinded Alva who ended up closing her eyes and putting her hands in front of her.
A gentle warmth spread through her body then nothing.
-THEN shouted a voice how do you find your first trip through doors.
Startling Alva jumped to her feet opening her eyes wide she came face to face with Eden who was smiling with all her teeth at Alva's surprised look
Jude was sitting next to her there watching amused.
-it had stammered Alva incredible
-yes huh the satyr laughed at Alva's stammering good let's go I don't want to have the council pull my pillows out for arriving late
the three travelers set off on the path that divided the village in two and led to the stone tower.
- the Council? Jude whispered
- yes, the council is composed of six of the most powerful members of the belladonnas and the wisest too, it is chaired by the Powerful Ophelia Corlen, there we head towards the council tower, once arrived at the audience room I will introduce you to the other members,
- Okay murmured Alva hesitantly she asked in fact, Eden, how will the awakening of our powers happen?
Surprised Eden stopped in the middle of the wheel before shaking her head again and resuming walking
well said softly.
-the full moon rises at 7 pm and it is already 4 pm you still have a lot to learn before your powers are activated, the priority is that you know how the awakening ritual will happen, I can't explain it to you, so the counselors will explain it to you.
They nodded Jude looked up at the tower pensively, he took his twin's hand Alva smiled at him then readjusting her rectangular glasses she focused her gaze identical to his towards the tower where their destiny and their future would be decided.
