Hello again. Were you expecting another crossover idea?
If so, keep reading! I've found yet another way to combine an unrelated fantasy world and setting with the futuristic grim darkness of Warhammer!
The live-action remake for Avatar: The Last Airbender has premiered on Netflix. That motivated me to work on another fanfiction project:
What if one of the two Lost Primarchs in Warhammer's Great Crusade era arrived on the world of Avatar?

THE SPIRIT WARDENS
This isn't a typical story or novel. Instead, it will be a word-based encyclopedia describing the epic crossover lore and history behind the Spirit Wardens, an army for Warhammer 30K based on the world of The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.
Let's start this journey with a simple premise.
Two of the Primarchs in the Great Crusade vanished without a trace in Warhammer official canon. What if that wasn't the case?
What if a lost Primarch ended up arriving in the Four Nations?
While he was still an infant, the Lord of the Second Legion, along with all 19 of his immortal Primarch brothers, were kidnapped by the Chaos Gods, and scattered across the galaxy in gestation capsules.
The nameless heir fell from the sky, upon a backwater planet inhabited by a flourishing human civilization, now known to greater intergalactic civilization as Kaurava.
On this world, a hundred-year war had recently ended, and society was finally recovering from the devastation and division caused by the imperialist Fire Nation's colonial campaign.
Avatar Aang and his comrades had the immense task of bringing back balance to a divided world. They started by dismantling the last Fire Nation colonies and finding ways to keep the Air Nomads' traditions and culture alive (which were nearly extinct after a genocidal attack.)
However, the times of peace would not last long...
Unfortunately for the members of Team Avatar, an increasingly influential foreigner, said to have descended from the stars themselves, had founded a diabolical conspiracy cabal with the intent of bringing all the peoples of the world together, under one flag, whether they liked it or not.
Those who refused to join the New Order, and openly resisted the globalist cause, were to be eradicated and erased from history.
The world was plunged into chaos once more, and the Avatar, his allies, and even his past lives would face their greatest challenge yet- the Spirit of Unity, Lord Krishna.
"Only I can TRULY bring balance to this world. I shall end the Avatar cycle... and save Mankind from its own mistakes and hubris!"
But before we can tell that story, we must understand how the demigod from the stars was raised by a family of mortals, living on the outskirts of the Four Nations.
Only then will the truth be revealed... and this is but the first part of a new era for the world of Avatar, one that would see it dragged into the grim darkness of the far future, with its inhabitants forced to contend with the irreversible changes, trying to find a path forward in the face of immeasurable adversity.

When Horus declared his allegiance to Chaos, and sold his soul to the devil, the Imperium of Man was effectively was split in two.
What became of the Second Legion during this time is a mystery, which would one day be solved by Imperial scholars in the distant grimdark future...
With all that out of the way, let's wrap up this introduction.
The time has come for Mankind to unite the galaxy under one banner. Will you answer the call to arms, to join the war to end all wars?
In case you were wondering, refusal isn't an option.
The Great Crusade has begun, and it will inevitably reach certain worlds that you will be familiar with!

Like I said before, this is going to be more of an encyclopedia, wiki, or almanac than a full-on anthology or novel. I wanted to take a different approach to writing fanfiction material.
