I walked into the audition room leaving Nate, Terry, and Jon outside talking with Ryan Seacrest. Moments after that I am standing on The American Idol oval in front of the judges.

Katy: What is your name, Where are you from, and your age.

Me: I am Tia Diaz, originally from Miami transplanted for my job, and 35 years old.

Luke: Can we have a little more about you?

Tia: I am a retired undercover FBI agent?

Lionel: What are you doing to sing today?

Tia: Taylor Swift.

I began singing 22 to the judges. Meanwhile back outside the 🚪 with Ryan interviewing my brothers and Terry.

" How do you know Tia?" He asked.

" My foster brother and his brother work together as SWAT officers for the LAPD," Nate told him.

Back in the room the song is almost finished. I didn't mention it before but my ex husband is on Broadway. Judging time for me.

Judges: You're going to Hollywood. Do you have family with you?

Me: Yes

Judges: bring them in

Me: the judges want you inside.

Guys: okay

We walked back into the room together. Jon spoke up and we are Nate, Terry, and Jon. Later on, we left the audition with the golden ticket in hand. Greetings are exchanged between us. Nate drove me to headquarters.

Both of us went into the 🏢 together. I went into the locker room to put my bag in the locker. Nate went 🏠. Seconds later I walked into the room with the TV's and grabbed a com.

I stood next to Jessie and Hicks. First, I greeted them.

" Can I tell the 20 David something?" I asked Hicks.

" Go right ahead T," he replied to me.

"Twenty David is on their way back from the call.

" I have some news for you?" I told them.

" What is it T?" They asked.

" I made it on Idol today," I replied.

As the news sank in for a few minutes. This means that you're leaving us. I considered trying for the academy Luca, but it depends on how far I make it on the show. Ok that is a deal. Wait a minute you didn't mention who the judges are.

Black Betty is full of 😩 and sweaty. It is parked in front of the 🏢. They took their quick 🚿. A quick debrief is made. My family like usual rushed me with Hugs. Seconds later lunch is promptly served at 12:00 pm California time. Everyone took out their food. Conversations are going on throughout the group. The team and families sat down in our assigned seats at the tables. We ate together like one big happy family. After eating we threw away our trash in the ️bins.

As the team scatters around the 🏢. I went upstairs to Hicks office. Knocked on his door. Tia you may come in. I sat in front of his desk. The next week or so I will have to be at the hotel for the show.

Everyone grabbed our belongings from the locker room. We exchanged goodbyes to each other. Hybrid Mike were the only ones that didn't say anything. There's an extra 5 minutes of talking. Our headquarters and parking lot is now a 👻 town.

Hondo like always drove us ️. We put our stuff down by the 🚪. I went to take a quick 🚿 to change. Meanwhile back in our kitchen with Dad over the stove cooking. He took out the place settings to put them on the counter. Minutes after that I set our kitchen table.

Dinner is promptly served at 6:00 pm California time. Everyone dished out our food to eat. The team and families sat in our assigned seats at the tables. Our drinks are the usual 🍺 for us and for the kids. We ate together like one big happy family. After eating we put all the dirty dishes in our sinks.

We broke up into our usual boys vs girls groups. Chris and Tan cleared the tables. I wiped down every surface with a rag. Annie unpacked the dishwasher. The remaining guys washed the dishes to refill it with the wet ones. Every kitchen is clean now.

Family time continues in front of the tv. We shared our favorite tv shows with the group. I walked over to my room in order to change into my jammies and brush my teeth. Later on, I returned to both our ️ and my favorite spot. I am now nice and cozy.

Please promise not to tell Luca this. The male judges are: Lionel and Luke. I want him to be surprised when he finds out who the third is. The female judge is Katy Perry. I promise Baby Girl.

" Goodnight dad," I told him.

There's a quick bathroom break. I jumped into bed . Pedro is already in my arms. Counting ️ time begins right now. I am now fast asleep.

Meanwhile back in the family room with the team still 👀 tv. As the laughter is slowly dying down now. Our tv sets and family room lights are turned off. The team went to their own bedroom. Everyone else joins me in dreamland that night.
