This is Part II of the New Years Special. Last time, everybody got a little philosophical on whether there's anything left of Octavius in Doctor Octopus, or whether Octavius even existed to begin with. Not exactly the thing you want to do while trying to recover from Scorpion's poison. So the trio decided to get off the streets for a while and check on things at F.E.A.S.T., just about the only safe space they've got left in NYC. So, what's going on there? Read on to discover...

(Our scene opens up at F.E.A.S.T., where Aunt May is still managing disaster response)

Aunt May: (To a supply officer) Place those over there if you would. Until Miles gets back, the best thing we can do is keep everybody fed.

(At this point, Spyro, Cynder, and Spider-Man walk in, much to Aunt May's delight)

Aunt May: Thank goodness you three are alright. How are you all? Healthy?

Spyro: Maybe a bit tired from running from Sable.

Cynder: But otherwise, we're fine May.

Spider-Man: How're you holding up?

Aunt May: Fine, but busy. (Sees someone struggling with a box) Oh, let me...

(But as Aunt May turns around, she almost collapses on herself in a coughing fit.)

Spider-Man: (Slightly freaking out) Whoa there...!

(Spyro and Cynder thankfully break Aunt May's fall and get her into a chair)

Aunt May: (Somewhat weakly) I'm okay...

Spider-Man: Didn't you tell me something once about accepting that I'm human, just like everyone else?

Aunt May: (Seeing her own words are being used against her) You and Ben. (Coughs) Absolute masters at turning my own words against me.

(Spyro and Cynder are a bit confused, as they don't remember this conversation. But after a second, they piece it together. This must've been after Spider-Man got evicted.)

Aunt May: I'm fine, Peter. Genuinely.

Spyro: No offense, May. But you don't sound fine at all.

Cynder: I suggest you take it a little easier. Thankfully, we're here to give a hand.

Spider-Man: All of us. (Notices an absent person) Hey, where's Miles? He could certainly give you a hand.

Aunt May: He already is! He went out to pick up some medical supplies from the relief center. (Looks out over the many sick beds in the center) Hard to believe how quickly we go through antibiotics.

Cynder: Alright. You rest a moment, May. Spyro and I will help with unloading supplies, while Pete goes and checks up on Miles. Deal?

Aunt May: (Rolling her eyes playfully) Deal. Gives me a minute to rest my wounded Parker pride.

Spyro: Good to see your sense of humor hasn't dulled, despite everything.

(With that, the group sets about their tasks while Spider-Man dials Miles Morales)

Spider-Man: Come on Miles, answer. Don't make us worry about you and May.

(As Spider-Man calls Miles Morales, the latter is actually sneaking through an Oscorp shipping yard, overrun with convicts. Apparently he doesn't notice he accidentally answers the phone)

Miles Morales: So much for just a milk run. (Grabs a crate and opens it) Come on, let this be the one. (Reads the label on a bottle inside) Amoxicillin! Jackpot!

(But just as he's able to get the amoxicillin out of there, Rhino comes along, tearing through the shipping yard while Sable returns fire)

Miles Morales: (Having never seen Rhino before now) That guy's huge! He's got to be what wrecked this place.

Rhino: (To the Sable guards he's just pinned against a wall with their own cruiser) Supply routes and schedules. Now!

(As Rhino's about to crush the Sable guards, a second voice enters the conversation)

Scorpion: Gentlemen, I apologize. My associate is... inelegant. He doesn't quite get the fine art of persuasion.

(And just as Scorpion stabs a Sable guard with his stinger, Miles Morales backs off and hangs up the call he didn't know he answered, leaving Spider-Man on the other end, having heard everything.)

Spider-Man: This isn't good.

(Spider-Man sends a quick message to Spyro and Cynder in this moment. "Rhino and Scorpion attacking relief center. Miles in Danger. Mobilize ASAP." The two get the message, and thankfully have the supply unload finished, and within moments are on their way to save Miles, as our tale ends for today)

This concludes Part II of the New Years Special. For Part III, head on over to The Injustice Wars. Well, that stop at F.E.A.S.T. was not near as relaxing as I bet anybody thought it would be. And now the trio has to mobilize to make sure Rhino and Scorpion don't kill Miles. But will they make it in time? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
