City of Mistral, Mistral
Lower Level Outskirts
August 9, 2020
Outside the city of Mistral, A small group of traveling Faunus were approaching the city to settle. Before they could approach any further, a gunshot was heard as a bullet struck a tree narrowly missing one of the Faunus's heads. They all turned to see a group of armed humans stepping out of the woods and bushes. They all pointed their weapons at the Faunus.
"Wait! Please! We don't want any trouble!" a Faunus with goat horns pleaded.
"You freaks came to the wrong city! Turn yourselves around and go back to where you came from!" one of the human supremacists demanded.
"We can't. Our settlement was wiped out by the Grimm. We have nowhere else to go!" a Faunus with horse hooves for feet replied.
Get the fuck out of here right now! We don't want your kind in this kingdom! They cause nothing but problems!" another human supremacist shouted.
"Please! Just leave us be!" a Faunus with a set of bear ears pleaded.
"You had your chance! Now you've lost it," another human supremacist said as he pointed his revolver at the Faunus.
Suddenly, a whip with small blades onto it shot out from some nearby bushes and wrapped around the man's wrist. As it was swiftly yanked back, the whip tightened around the man's wrist and the blade severed his hand off from his arm. The man drops to his knees screaming out in pain as everyone watches in shock. The whip retracted back into the bushes as everyone then turned their heads to the bushes. A figure stepped out of the bushes.
The figure was a boy wearing a pair of black pants and a matching long sleeve shirt, and silver armored knee pads and shoulder, a blood red sash tied around his waist, a brown sword holster strapped to his back, a light gray scarf wrapped around his neck, and a silver necklace under his scarf. He wore a pair of calf high boots with calves of the boots dark red and the forefeet of them were black with armor wrapped around the ankles, and four talon blades that ran down to the tips of his boots. His gloves were dark red with small metal pads resembling that of a skeleton's hand. He also wore a gray mask that covered his face with the exception of his messy, black hair. The mask has large black slanted eyes and a wide smiling mouth that was sewn shut.
The bladed whip he carried in his hand retracted into a dark red sword which he gave a couple twirls with it.
"Who are you?!" one of the supremacists asked.
The boy stood in silence as he slowly tilted his head in response.
"I said, who the fuck are-" before he could finish repeating his question, a chain suddenly shot up at him and wrapped itself around his waist.
The human supremacist was pulled towards another figure who kicked him to the ground.
The figure was a boy wearing a pair of black pants, a gray t-shirt with a black trench coat with a hood covering his head, some silver armor strapped to his arms, and was completely bare foot. He also wore a blank silver mask over his face that covered his face completely.
In his hands, he carried a Kusarigama, a small scythe with a chain attached to it.
"What is this?!" a human supremacist asked.
Four more figures stepped out of the woods surrounding the human supremacists.
The first figure was a girl that wore an outfit almost similar to the boy with the gray mask. She wears a pair of black pants and a matching long sleeve shirt, and wears the same boots as the boy in the gray mask except that she has three talon blades instead of four on each boot. She wears a brown sash around her waist and a matching cowl over her shoulders and upper chest. She also wore a pair of dark red gloves that had white sewing patterns around each finger and reached up her gloves. Matching her gloves, She wears a mask that covers her face that resembles a rabbit that has a sharp tooth smile, a dark pink nose, and a lighter shade of black that covers its black eyes. Her black hair was tied into a ponytail with the exception of her a strand of hair on each side of her head. The tips of her hair were dyed blonde.
The second was a boy wearing a black pants and a gray shirt, as well as a pair of boots exactly like the boy in the gray mask. Over his shirt was a red chest plate that covered his chest and back and matching armor on his arms resembling that of samurai armor. Over his face was a red demonic mask that had sharp curled teeth and short black horns, his black hair was tied into a small ponytail.
The third was another girl wearing a pair of green boots, black leggings, and a long sleeve purple shirt with a detachable hoodie that covered her head and obscured the upper half of her face. She also wore a silver chest piece that covered her upper chest and back, and on the back of her armor was a disk with eight chambers loaded with eight types of Dust: Fire, Water, Plant, Ice, Rock, Lightning, Wind, and Gravity.
The fourth and final figure was another boy that wore black jeans, a pair of silver shin guards that pointed tips that covered the knees, and a pair of brown boots with armor wrapped around the ankles and three talon blades that went down each boot, much like the boy with the gray mask, the boy with the demon mask, and the girl with the rabbit mask. He also wore a gray vest with a yellow fur trim around his neck. His arms have some scars on them. He wore a mask over his face that closely resembled that of a tiger. The mask was gray with gold pointed trimmings, matching markings and pointed teeth and fangs, and over it with a black nose. He also has brown, close cut hair which is almost shaved off.
The four figures pulled out their weapons. The boy with the tiger mask pulled out a pair of gauntlets with a blade attached to each one, much like Fox Alistair's weapons, Sharp Retribution. The boy in the demon mask pulled out a pair of katanas with revolver-like chambers above the handles with Dust vials loaded inside them. The girl in the rabbit mask pulled out a long handle as a hard-light blade extended out of each end of the handle. The disk on the armor of the girl with the hood over her head spun around for a moment before stopping as her fist then started to emit electricity.
"Get 'em!" one of the human supremacists yelled as they charged over towards their attackers.
The demon masked boy swung his katanas at a couple human supremacists, knocking them both to the ground. Another supremacist rushed at him from behind, but the masked boy turned his katanas around and impaled him through the stomach while still facing away from him. He turns his head to see another supremacist rushing at him. The chambers on the masked boy's katanas rotated before his hands started to glow crimson red. The blades then started to emit fire. As the supremacist approached, the demon masked boy swung his katanas at the supremacist's chest with trails of fire following behind the katana and set him on fire. The man drops to the ground screaming in agony for a few moments before stopping and succumbing to the flames and wounds.
The hooded girl was approached by a human supremacist and as she extended her hand at him, a large hand composed of lightning shot out and grabbed him, while electrocuting him. She then tosses him into another supremacist, knocking them both down. Another supremacist rushes at the girl, as and he did, the disk on the girl's armor rotates again as her arms then emitted water. She shot a blast of water at the supremacist's head. She keeps her hand extended out at the man as the water forms up into a ball, suffocating the supremacist. The disk on the back of her armor rotates once more as the water drowning the man then turns to ice, making the man collapse.
A couple of human supremacists were shooting at the boy in the tiger mask who walked up to them, taking every shot made at him. The masked boy slashes at them both killing them. Two more supremacists approached from behind and started shooting at him. The boy turned around and started to glow gold. He aimed his fists at the two supremacists as the blades on his gauntlets rotated forward and shot out with chains attached to them. The blades impaled the two men through their stomachs as the boy then swung them into a large nearby boulder, killing them instantly, while also shattering the boulder in the process.
The girl in the rabbit mask parries a couple attacks made at her by a couple human supremacists. She counters by decapitating one of the supremacists. She then retracts the blades into the handle before a hard light mace pops out of the handle. The girl swung her weapon into the other human supremacist's stomach, before swinging it up into his jaw, knocking him unconscious. Another human supremacist rushes towards the girl, but the marked girl creates a glyph in her hand before hurling it at the supremacist's head, knocking him unconscious.
The boy in the blank mask swung his kusarigama by its chain at a human supremacist, slitting his throat. He pulls the chain back and retracts the mini scythe back to him. A human supremacist charges towards the boy with an ax. The boy flicks a switch on his weapon and the chain folds up and retracts and the blade folds up into a dagger. As the human supremacist approaches and swings his sword down, the boy parries away the attack with his dagger and follows up by stabbing him three times in the chest, then kicking him to the ground.
The boy in the gray mask parries an attack from a human supremacist thrusting his spear at him as he counters by elbowing him in the face, then slashing at his chest. The boy turns his head to see two more human supremacists charging towards him. He extends his hand at them as his arm emits a gray aura. A gray mist shot out from his hand as it then took shape and formed up into a tiger. It lets out a roar as the two supremacists stopped in their tracks. The tiger then charged forward and pounced on top of one of them, knocking him unconscious. It swiped its claws at the other supremacist making him reel back in pain, just as the masked boy ran up and decapitated him.
The other five attackers gathered around the boy in the gray mask as they looked around at the dead or unconscious bodies scattered on the ground. They noticed a woman on the ground looking up at them with terror. The six attackers approached and the boy in the gray mask pointed his sword at her throat.
"Leave. Now." the boy in the gray mask spoke.
"While you still can," the girl in the rabbit mask added.
And tell your friends what you saw," the boy with the blank mask said.
"And if you try this again," the boy in the tiger mask began.
"Nobody will find your body," the hooded girl finished.
"Let that be a lesson for you to learn," the boy in the demon mask said.
The woman got up from the ground and quickly ran away, while the six teens watched. They soon turned their attention to the group of Faunus travelers who all were stunned to see the entire event that took place in front of them.
"We're sorry you all had to see that," the hooded girl spoke.
"Don't be. You saved our lives," horse Faunus said.
"You guys do realize that we killed many of these guys right in front of you, right?" the boy in the demon mask asked.
"We do. But you still saved us from these people," the goat Faunus said.
"Just be careful now," the boy in the blank mask said.
"And don't join the White Fang after what just happened. It's only gonna make it worse," the girl in the rabbit mask added.
"After what the White Fang has been doing, especially under Adam's leadership? We don't plan on it," the bear Faunus replied.
The masked individuals all turned around and walked back into the woods.
Upper Levels
Later in the upper levels of Mistral, the mask group walks up to a rooftop and then all sit down. They all looked down at the city below as they all took off their masks and hoods. The boy in the demon mask has red eyes. The boy with the tiger mask is revealed to have golden eyes. The boy with the blank mask has brown hair with his bangs covering part of the right side of his face, and has bandages wrapped around his head and covering his eyes. The girl with the rabbit mask is revealed to have light blue eyes. The hooded girl has light green eyes and long blonde hair with a small braid tied behind her head. And the boy with the gray mask has black eyes.
"Another human supremacist group neutralized," the boy with the tiger mask said.
"Yep. How many saves have we made now, Siavash?" The bandaged boy asked the boy with the gray mask.
"Twenty-two now," the boy with the gray mask known as Siavash answered.
"Twenty-two. Crazy is what that is," the girl with the rabbit mask said.
"And that's the truth, Athena," The boy with the demon mask said to the girl with the rabbit mask known as Athena.
"Ever since Haven Academy's last headmaster uhhh... Professor Lion... something or whatever had been exposed to be an unwilling spy for this Salem woman, the treatment of the Faunus within the kingdom had been getting even worse," the boy with the demon mask said.
"Lynch mobs, assaults, rapings, and a slave labor camp at one point, Yasu," The girl with the hood said to the the boy with the demon mask known as Yasu.
"No different from the Nazies, Mitra," the bandaged boy said to the girl known as Mitra
"Or the government back at home," the bandaged boy added.
"The people of our world won't put up with this, Lloyd," the boy with the tiger mask said to the bandaged boy known as Lloyd.
"And that's where people like us step in, Atar," Siavash said to the boy with the tiger mask known as Atar.
"The training may have been brutal and rushed, but it helped us get accepted into Haven Academy," Mitra said.
"It gave us some new scars to go with our old ones from back home," Yasu said.
"And we're not going back," Mitra said.
"Enough of the glooming talk. Soon we'll be above the city training our butts off," Athena said.
"Yeah! Tomorrow, we're off to Haven Academy!" Siavash said.
"Here's to a new future!" Mitra exclaimed.
