Damp soaked road ahead ..
Blasting footsteps running in urgency..
'Huf puf..!! Huf puf.. !! Huf puf..!!'*
Uncontrolled breathing..
Painful gasping..
*'Whoosh!! Whoosh!! Whoosh!!'*
Wind picking up its speed…
Slapping its speed on the skin…
*Pitter-patter…!! Pitter-patter!!*
Thick raindrops blocking the vision…!!
Eyes blurring..!!
Eyes fixed on the road ahead..!!
Seeing everything but still blind to the whole world..!!
'Bep… Bep… Bep..'!!*
Ears buzzing..
Hearing nullified….
'Thump! ...Thump! ...Thump! ...Thump!!'*
Heart beating hard..
Squeezing painfully..
Heart burning with uneasy anticipation ..
*Loud whistle of Train..!!*
CHO!! CHOOO!!!
'Splash!! Huf-puf!! Thump- Thump!! Whoosh!! SPLASH!! Whoosh!! THUMP!! BEPP….CHOO-CHOO!!!'
"RANMA!! LOOK OUT!!"
Ryoga was late to stop him as Ranma bumped into a passenger, who was carrying a bundle of luggage in his arms. That force made them fell on the ground ungracefully, which wounded both of them.
"Oh God!! What is wrong with you, young boy!! Can't you see where you are going!!"
The passenger yelled at him, angrily staring at his eyes. Ryoga came rushing to their side and began to apologise in haste,
"I am so sorry, sir! Please forgive.."
But before Ryoga could finish his apology , Ranma stood up in haste and started running like a crazed guy..
"Oh DAMN!!" Ryoga said breathlessly and turned to face the person on the floor. "Let me.. let me help you up.."
"Nah!! I think that guy needs more help than me.. Go after him.."
The person said as he eyes Ranma with concern filled eyes, as he saw him wildly running on the station , crying out only one name again and again...
"AKANEIII!!"
That heart wrenching yell made Ryoga's blood go cold as he didn't waste any more time standing there and started following Ranma, but failed to match his speed.
"AKANEIII…..!! …… AKANEII!!"
"RANMA!! STOP IT, BUDDY!!"
"AKANE!! PLEASE ;... COME BACK!!"
"Damn it!! Ranma; please STOP!!"
"RANCHAN!!"
Suddenly hearing Ukyo's voice , a sudden relief ran through his spine as he gave a big sigh of relief. Ryoga stopped running to give his sore leg some break and saw Ukyo running towards Ranma and taking the shortcut to reach Ranma's side . She reached his side fast and tried to block his way.
"Ranchan! Ranchan; please ... Please wait.." Ukyo tightly held Ranma's arms and said between her gasps.
Ranma shook his head and tried to say in a shaky breathless tone,
"NO, Ucchan!! Ucchan, MOVE; you don't understand!! She is leaving!! SHE IS DAMN LEAVING ME!!"
"BUT RUNNING BLINDLY WON'T TAKE US TO ANYWHERE , RANCHAN!!!" She controlled her tone as her eyes filled up with tears as she said in a whisper tone, "Please.. please; come to your sense, Ranma! We really need you to think clearly right now! Please.."
Her tone made him pause for a moment. He was fully wet, his breathing hitching every second, his eyes lost all its color as he stood there looking at Ukyo looking completely lost!
Ukyo took a deep breath and laid her hands on his face and said in a hard tone,
"We WILL find her, Ranchan!! We WILL bring her back!! Don't lose hope!! We will make her stop!!"
Ranma released a shaky breath and nodded his head. He then felt a touch on his shoulder and heard Ryoga saying,
"Yeah buddy! We will …"
But before Ryoga could finish saying, Ranma slapped his arm from his shoulder and punched him hard on his face..
"DON'T CHA' DARE TOUCH ME!! YOU BETRAYER!!"
"Ranma… please!!" Ukyo came forward and blocked Ranma from further harming Ryoga. She looked at him hard and said, "It's not time for this!! We have to find her fast!!"
Ranma was panting hard as he glared at Ryoga, then he said to him with a deadly warning tone,
"If I.. If she leaves then.. then I.."
*CHOOO!!!*
Hearing the loud train horn, Ranma's blood became cold as he shivered with unknown fear.
"Ranchan!"
Ranma helplessly looked at Ukyo as she said,
"Lets look for her.. But please, I want you to calm down first!"
Ranma nodded and they separated to look for Akne in different ways. Ryoga also joined in the search, but he kept his distance from Ranma.
Time ticked by! Their search became frantic as more and more trains began to leave the station . They couldn't find her anywhere! Soon, Ranma loses his cool again and begins to call for Akane in a frantic way..
"He is calling you, Akane. Do you want to see him?"
Akane hugged her belly tightly as her body shook with raw anticipation. Hearing Akio's question, she shook her head in fear and whispered frantically,
"No!! No please!! No!! I have to leave this place!! I have to leave!"
Akio sighs sadly and sits by her side. They were sitting inside of a train cabin, eagerly waiting for their train to leave the station. He laid his hand over her trembling hand and said,
"Don't worry, Akane. I am with you.."
Akane's body was still trembling with fear as she nodded her head and asked him in a small whisper tone,
"Please Akio; can you please close the window for me? I don't want to hear him calling me.. Please; please.."
He sighs as he stood up and looks out from the window, then slowly, carefully, he closes the shutter of the window as their train whistles a loud horn to indicate the train is leaving as it starts to move slowly.
At that exact moment Ranma was running past their window side. For some reason, he stopped. An unknown force has made him stop on his track. He noticed the window which shutter just pulled down and he could swear that he had noticed a glimpse of the person he was dying to see.
The train started to move slowly and he kept looking at the train , completely frozen to his spot. The loud whistle brought him back to his senses, but it was pretty late for him. The train started to move faster and faster. Ranma didnt think about its speed or the possibility of catching up with the train, he just ran and ran blindly to reach her as he cried out in desperation …
"AKANEIIIIII!!! DON'T LEAVE ME!! AKANEIIII!!!"...
The aggressive scream of Ranma , alongside with the loud horn of the train, made Ukyo stop in her tracks. She turns quickly as her eyes frantically begin to search for Ranma. But unfortunately for her, the sudden rush of people made it impossible for her to see past the large crowd. The crowd was so crazy it almost made her walk to the complete opposite side from where she actually wanted to go. But thankfully she managed to escape in a corner as she frantically began to look everywhere.
"Ukyo! Are you okay? Jeez, that crowd was crazy!! Anyways, Did you find them?" Ryoga asked her in a breathless tone.
Ukyo released a big breath, she fearfully looked up at Ryoga and said,
"Ryoga…. Ranchan.. I.. I can't see him anywhere.."
"What!! But he was right there.."
Ryoga hurriedly turned to look for Ranma , but got rigid when he realized that Ukyo was right.
No words needed to be said anymore; both of them started to run like crazy. They stopped searching for Akane and started looking for Ranma instead. They were calling for him , searching for him. But it was like he had vanished from that place and they couldn't find him anywhere. Minutes passed by, hours passed by, but all they could do was call for him and soon understanding the harsh reality that, they not only lost Akane today; but they also lost their precious prince, Ranma…*
*THREE YEARS LATER *
*CHO!! CHOOO!!!*
*'Splash!! Huf-puf!! Thump- Thump!! Whoosh!! SPLASH!! Whoosh!! THUMP!! BEPP….CHOO-CHOO!!!'*
*"RANMA!! LOOK OUT!!!!!!"*
Ryoga frantically sits up on his bed, he was breathing heavily as cold sweat drenched his body.
"Oh Ryoga honey! Are you alright?"
Ukyo woke up too as she sits up in haste and tried to rub his back for comfort. Seeing his distress, she quickly took the water bottle from their bed table and handed it to him.
"Here, sugar! Drink some water..!"
Ryoga nodded and slowly drank some water from the bottle. He slowly began to calm down as he looked down, feeling way too tired.
"Again nightmare?"
Ryoga sighs and nodded,
"Same.. as usual.."
Ukyo sighs and laid her head over his shoulder and said,
"Honey, it's already been three years! You have been having those nightmares ever since! Don't you think we should consult a Dr for this?"
Ryoga smirked humorlessly and shook his head,
"No Dr. can fix this problem of mine!!"
"But, Ryoga!"
"Honey, you know what the real problem is.. I have done an unforgivable sin, Ukyo! Until and unless I get the chance to fix all this misunderstanding, I know, this nightmares won't leave me alone."
Ukyo hugged him tightly and whispers in a defeated tone,
"But how can you fix it, Ryoga? We have been looking for them for so long! It's almost like they have vanished in thin air!"
"Tell me about it! After Akane left the town; we completely lost track of Ranma! I just .. I just hope that wherever he is now, he is safe and sound!!"
Ukyo sighs sadly and said,
"And I just hope that those two have found a way to get back to each other. Because… I know both of them very well, honey, if they are not together then, then can't be safe and happy."
"Damn it, Ukyo! Now you again made me feel like a complete moron. I know I am! I deserve all the pain and punishment for what I have done; but still.. I just want a chance; just one sign from Kami to help me find any one of them, so that I can apologize to them.. Oh Gosh; my guilts are eating me alive, Ukyo.. I don't know how I am going to survive like this."
"Oh, Ryoga! Please be strong! I know we are going to find them sooner! For some reason; I am having this feeling in my heart that we will find our Prince soon.."
"And our princess too?"
Ukyo yelped as she laid her hand over her belly, Ryoga looked at his pregnant wife and asked her in a concern filled tone,
"Honey, are you alright?"
Ukyo took some deep breaths and said in a pleasant tone,
"I am fine, sugar. I think.. I think your child thinks the same as we do, I just felt the baby kicking for the very first time!"
"Really?" Ryoga asked, astonished, as he laid his hand over her belly.
Ukyo sighs happily and said,
"We will find them soon, honey, and now, I know that for sure.."
A/N: SO, where is our Ranma and Akane? What happened to them? How did they fall in love in the first place? How did things begin? Are they apart from each other or are they together?
I have decided to start this new one by giving you some suspicious event of what might have happened to cause this scene (naughty me ;p).. But don't worry , you know who is writing this fic :D!!
Keep calm guys, I am the same person who is a die heart fan of RanmaxAkane. Its just another new journey! With new twists and turns. Maybe the last long fic I will write ; that's why, lets enjoy every part of it :)..
