Gone in a Flash
The family was gathered in Lily and Lisa's room waiting for Lisa to make an announcement concerning what she's calling "The Greatest Scientific Achievement of the Century". Lisa has been spending weeks on end in her room, working around the clock on her mysterious new invention nonstop. Her parents brought her meals to make sure she ate, and she used Lily's training potty for when 'nature calls'. Finally, after the end of the third week, her invention was completed. Once she was done, she summoned her family so she can show them what she created.
"I suppose you're wondering why I called all of you to me and Lily's room." said Lisa.
"Can we make this quick? The Dream Boat will be on in ten minutes." said Lori.
"Yeah. I totes want to know who Karen picks to be her first mate." says Leni.
"I'll bet it's Brock." said Luna.
"Like, no way. It's totes going to be Bryant." said Leni.
"Uh, no way. Blaine can swab the deck with those other chumps." says Lynn. Jr.
"I hope it's Bram." said Lucy out of nowhere, scaring the rest of the family.
"Patience, everyone. I assure you I'll finish my presentation in time to watch The Dream Boat. Now as I was saying, the reason I called you all here is to show you my latest invention." said Lisa as she walks up to a large sheet that was covering something and pulls it off. "The Lisa Loud Teleportation Pad." says Lisa, revealing a round, glass circle with lights flashing on it, connected to a control panel.
"Teleportation Pad? You mean this can make us disappear from one place and reappear somewhere else?" asked Lincoln.
"Precisely, my only male sibling. My marvelous new invention can transport anything to any location instantaneously." said Lisa.
"Wow, Lisa. That is literally amazing." said Lori.
"Yeah. We won't have to take Vanzilla to go places anymore." said Lola.
"If everyone had this, people can go places a lot quicker than any plane, car, or ship; thus, creating less air pollution. We can also get medical assistance to people who require it a lot quicker, and transport vital supplies to areas that need them faster, also. Why, the possibilities are endless." said Lisa. She grabs her desk chair and places it on the pad. "Allow me to demonstrate. First, you place what you want to teleport on the device, then punch in some coordinates. Since this is the maiden voyage of my device, I'll start with somewhere nearby. I'll go with Mr. Grouse's backyard." Lisa goes to the control panel and programs some coordinates. "Now I simply push this button, and..." said Lisa as she pushes a flashing red button. In a flash of light, the chair instantly disappears. "..voila." The family rushes to the twins' room and look out the window into Mr. Grouse's backyard, and they see Lisa's desk chair, on top of Mr. Grouse's prized petunias. Mr. Grouse rushes out his back door and frowns at what he saw.
"My petunias!" exclaims Mr. Grouse. He walks up to Lisa's chair and picks it up. "My yard, my property!" He then brings the chair into his house and slams the door shut.
"Oh, well. I can always get another chair." said Lisa.
"You can borrow mine in the meantime." says Lincoln.
"Thank you, Lincoln." says Lisa. The family goes back into Lily and Lisa's room to marvel at Lisa's Teleportation Pad.
"We are so proud of you, Lisa." says Lynn. Sr.
"This device can change the world." said Rita. The rest of the family continued to compliment Lisa on her achievement. Suddenly; Charles and Cliff come running into the room and ran under Lincoln and Lisa's feet, making them lose their balance and stumble backwards. Lincoln accidentally steps onto Lisa's Teleportation Pad, and Lisa stumbles into the control panel, accidentally pushing some random coordinates, and the activation button. Suddenly, in a flash, Lincoln instantly disappears, leaving everyone in stunned shock.
"LINCOLN!" yells the family as they started feeling the top of the device for any trace of their only son/brother, but there was nothing.
"Lisa! Where did your device send Lincoln?" said Rita in a panic. Lisa looks at the coordinate display screen, but there was nothing there.
"I don't know. You see, after teleportation, the coordinates delete themselves." said Lisa.
"So you don't know where your device sent Lincoln?" asked Luan.
"You mean Lincoln could be stranded in the middle of nowhere?" asked Lori.
"That's one of the best-case scenarios." said Lisa.
"What do you mean?" asked Lynn. Sr.
"You see, I never tried this on a living being before. And during the initial test phases of my device, sometimes not all the pieces make the trip. For all we know, only half of Lincoln's body was successfully teleported." said Lisa, much to everyone's stunned shock.
"You mean my son might only have parts of his body with him?!" asked Rita.
"Yes, and hopefully all his vital organs are still attached to him." said Lisa.
"How are we going to find him?" asked Lana. Lori quickly pulls out her device.
"I'll try calling him and see if he's okay." said Lori as she dials Lincoln's device's number. They hear a ring tone coming from Lincoln's room. They look in and see Lincoln's device on his desk.
"Well that stinks. Stinkoln didn't have his phone with him when he got zapped to who-knows-where." said Lynn. Jr.
"Wincoln?" says Lily with tears in her eyes.
"Let's not panic. Maybe he's still in Royal Woods somewhere. Let me check my tracker." says Lisa as she reaches into one of her desk drawers and pulls out a small device with a radar screen on it.
"What's that?" asked Lynn. Sr.
"A tracking device. A while back I placed tracking chips on each of you." said Lisa.
"You put tracking chips in all of us?" asked Lola.
"You said you only put tracking chips in Mom and Dad." said Lucy. Lisa continued to look at her device. After a minute, she gets an upset look on her face.
"What's wrong, honey? Isn't it working?" asked Lynn. Sr.
"It's working just fine, father. It's just that it can't seem to find Lincoln's location in Royal Woods, or anywhere within twenty miles of the city. I'm sorry to say that I have no way of finding Lincoln." said Lisa, looking down with shame and regret. The family looked down at the floor with sorrow.
"Lincoln. Where are you?" asked Lana. Somewhere at an unknown location, an elderly woman in a lab coat, over a yellow dress, and white shoes, holding a cane, was taking a stroll down a dirt road. She stops to look at a few small, blue, birdlike creatures when a flash of light appears, scaring the creatures away. Out of curiosity, she goes to where the flash came from to investigate. There, in the middle of a clearing, she sees a boy with white hair, wearing an orange polo shirt, blue jeans, and white and red sneakers, passed out.
"Who do we have here?" asked the woman.
"Grandma Magnolia?" called out a female voice. The elderly woman turns to see a young woman with red hair, wearing a tan trenchcoat over a teal shirt, also wearing light-blue skinny jeans, and black and turquoise shoes running over to her. "Did you see that flash of light?"
"Yes, Sonia." said the woman now known as Magnolia. "It appears this young man has something to do with it."
"Is he okay?" asked the younger woman now known as Sonia.
"He appears to be in good health. He's just passed out." said Magnolia.
"What do we do with him?" asked Sonia.
"Let's bring him back to my house. We can lie him down on my couch until he wakes up." says Magnolia.
"Okay." says Sonia as she picks up Lincoln and they both start walking to a house near a lake. As they walked, Sonia stares at Lincoln in wonder. "Who are you?" she asked.

Authors Note: Since we have to wait a couple of months for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to come out so we can continue our 'Paldea gets Loud' fanfic, we decided to work on this one in the meantime. Also, we're gonna leave a poll on our profile so you can vote on which Galar starter Lincoln should have. Please review.
