Waking in a New Land
Hisui Region: 150 years ago.
Somewhere at the center of the Hisui Region above the tallest mountain, a dark swirling cloud with flashes of light coming from it and what appeared to be a crack made of light was floating. Then without warning, a much brighter flash of light starts to emanate from the very center of it.
1216 Franklin Avenue, Royal Woods: Present Day
The Loud siblings were playing and hanging out in the backyard while their parents watched from the back porch. Lori was texting under a tree, while Lincoln was reading comics next to her with Lily, Leni was doing selfies, Luna was playing on an acoustic guitar, Luan was doing jokes with Mr. Coconuts, Lynn was tossing a football around, Lucy was grave digging, Lana was playing in the mud, Lola was driving around in her princess jeep, and Lisa was doing calculations in a notebook.
"It's good to see our kids spending time outside once in a while." said Lynn Sr.
"Yes, especially they can't make a mess in the house while doing so." said Rita. As the kids play around, a small circle of light appears at the center of the yard, getting their attention.
"What's that?" asked Lana as she steps out of the mud puddle she was playing in to investigate the light circle, along with her siblings.
"Lucy, are you trying to open portals to the underworld again?" asked Lori with a frown.
"This isn't one of my portals." said Lucy. "Too much light coming from it."
"I am unfamiliar with this phenomenon." said Lisa as she examines the mysterious circle.
"Kids, stay away from that!" said Rita. "We don't know if it's safe!" All of a sudden, the circle grows to the point that all the Loud siblings were standing in it.
"What's going on?" asked Luan.
"I don't know!" said Luna.
"We're scared!" said Lola and Lana as they hugged each other.
"Let's get out of..." Lori started to say before she and the rest of the Loud siblings suddenly fell through the circle, shocking the Loud parents.
"KIDS!" shouted Rita and Lynn Sr as the latter tried diving into the circle of light; but it suddenly vanishes, resulting him landing face first into the dirt.
"Don't worry, kids! I'll save you!" said Lynn Sr as he starts digging into the ground with Rita standing behind him watching with worry.
"What happened to our children?!" asked Rita.
"I don't know!" said Lynn Sr as he continued to dig.
Meanwhile, in a tunnel going through time, space, and dimensions; the Loud kids were flying through it, confused and scared.
"Where are we?!" asked Leni.
"I literally don't know!" said Lori.
"Lisa, is this one of your experiments gone wrong?!" asked Luan.
"Have any of my experiments ever gone awry?" Lisa replied.
"Yeah!" Lynn Jr replied. Lincoln suddenly grips his head with a pained expression on his face.
"Guys, I'm starting to get a bad headache!" said Lincoln. The Loud sisters also grip their heads as well.
"My head's killing me, too!" said Luna.
"So is mine!" said Lynn Jr.
"My cerebral cortex is feeling much discomfort!" said Lisa before they're all enveloped by a white light and pass out.
Hisui Region: 150 years ago
Somewhere in an open field; a man with tan skin, wearing a purple and white stocking cap with a white pom-pom on the top of it, a lab coat with an insignia on it over a brown vest over a purple shirt with a white collar, black pants with pinstripes on them, and brown boots; was chasing after three strange creatures.
One of the creatures was a beige, owl-like one with leaves on its neck, resembling a bow tie.
Another one was a small creature with a long snout, blue fur on the top half of its body and cream-colored fur on the bottom half of it, along with four red dots on its back.
And the third one was a small, bipedal one with a round white head with a round brown nose, two navy blue, triangle shaped ears; along with a sky blue torso that had a pale yellow scallop shell on it, plus two white arms, two flat, navy blue feet with matching tail.
Following after the man was two kids; one was a boy with short blue hair, a red flat cap, a red scarf, a navy blue tunic with white trim and the same insignia on his sleeve the man had on his coat, navy blue pants with dark navy blue cuffs on his thighs, a sachel and wooden sandals; the other was a girl with long blue hair, white bandana on her head, wearing a similar outfit as the boy, except she had a white bandana on her head and white leg warmers around the bottom of her legs.
"Professor Laventon, this is the third time this week that we had to chase after those Pokemon." said the girl.
"I'm sorry, Akari." replied the man now known as Professor Laventon. "They always seem to be getting away from me."
"We should focus on catching them before we lose them." said the boy.
"I know that, Rei." said the girl now known as Akari. All of a sudden, a bright light appeared just nearby, getting the creatures' and peoples' attention.
"What is that?" asked the boy now known as Rei.
"I believe it's coming from Prelude Beach." said Professor Laventon. The creatures suddenly started to run towards where the light came from, prompting the people to follow after them.
They soon arrive at a small beach that had a long dock, plus a small shed near it. As they look around, they immediately spot the Loud siblings lying on the beach, unconscious.
"Professor, who are those people?" asked Akari.
"I don't know." said Professor Laventon as he and the kids walk over to the Loud siblings.
"Where did they come from?" asked Rei.
"What manner of outfits are they wearing?" asked Akari.
"Why does that boy have white hair?" asked Rei.
"Are they alive?" asked Akari. She got her answer when the long-snouted creature walks over to Lincoln and pokes the top of his head with its snout, stirring him awake.
"That one's waking up." said Professor Laventon. Lincoln lifts his face out of the sand and spits some of it out of his mouth.
"Uhhh...What happened?" asked Lincoln. His sisters started to wake up as well.
"What's going on?" asked Luna as she sits up and rubs her head.
"Where are we?" asked Lori. The Loud siblings look around and soon see Professor Laventon, Akari, and Rei looking at them with concern.
"Oh my, are you kids alright?" Professor Laventon asked them.
"I think so." said Lincoln who suddenly notices the long-snouted creature looking him in the eyes, startling him.
"What's wrong?" asked Professor Laventon.
"What is that?" asked Lincoln.
"That Pokemon is known as a Cyndaquil." said Professor Laventon.
"Pokewhat?" replied Lincoln as he continued to stare at the creature now revealed to be a Pokemon called Cyndaquil.
"You...don't know what Pokemon are?" asked Professor Laventon.
"No." said Lincoln. His sisters gather behind him and look at the Cyndaquil.
"Such a strange creature." said Lisa. As Leni looks around, she sees the small, white-headed Pokemon and squeals with delight before grabbing it.
"EEEEEE! This cutie is so adorable!" said Leni as she nuzzles the creature's cheek, making it nervous.
"I wanna pet it!" said Lola.
"No, I'm petting it first!" said Lana.
"Is that a Pokemon?" asked Lincoln as he looks at the Cyndaquil that was nuzzling his leg, prompting him to rub its head, making the two smile.
"Yes, that Pokemon is known as an Oshawott." said Professor Laventon.
"I don't care what it's called, it's still cute!" said Lola as she pulls the Pokemon, now known as Oshawott, out of Leni's arms and starts cuddling it with Lana trying to do so herself.
"I'm amazed that you three willingly hug it like that." said Professor Laventon. "Many people around here are scared of Pokemon."
"Why?" asked Lana as she nuzzled one of the Oshawott's cheeks.
"It's so cute!" said Lola as she nuzzles the Oshawott's other cheek.
Lucy looks around until she notices the beige owl-like Pokemon.
"Is that a Pokemon?" asked Lucy.
"Yes." replied Professor Laventon. "That one is known as a Rowlet."
"Who are you people?" asked Akari.
"My name's Lincoln Loud." said Lincoln. He then motions towards his siblings. "And these are my sisters."
"All of them are your sisters?!" asked Professor Laventon.
"Yes; I'm Lori." said Lori. She then picks up Lily. "This is our youngest sister, Lily."
"I'm Leni." said Leni.
"I'm Luna." said Luna.
"I'm Luan." said Luan.
"I'm Lynn." said Lynn Jr.
"I'm Lucy." said Lucy.
"I'm Lana." said Lana.
"I'm her twin sister, Lola." said Lola.
"And my name is Lisa." said Lisa.
"Well, children, I am Professor Laventon." said Professor Laventon.
"My name's Akari." said Akari.
"And I'm Rei." said Rei.
"We've never seen the attire you're wearing before." said Akari.
"Where are you children from?" asked Professor Laventon. Lincoln begins rubbing his head before a terrifying realization comes to him and his sisters...
