Determined to matter despite it all, Mika find's his path after the Kyuubi attack. Armed with a higher mind, he puts himself through as much training as could be until he can achieve his goal. To be the next Sanin, a force of pure power and skill that few could rival. To prove his worth, value and the very point of his existence.

I am learning how to expand beyond canon... and that's beyond fun for me.

I am learning to draw, so that is fun. Any advice.

I realized that to grow, without bloodlines or other things, I need to give my oc more time to develop.

The Week after the Kyuubi attack

Mika felt it, the strain, the stress, the fear of the village. The Week before, the terror it brought, he hated it. He had been forced to hide in the shelters, along side everyone else. He hated it, feeling hopeless and fearful. However, in his stress and fear, he knew what he wanted, needed to do and so he moved to the Hokage's office with purpose in his heart.

"You want to be a Medical Ninja?" The Hokage asked, kindly and warm.

The boy nodded. "I saw what the village went through last week. I want to be able to help, more than just a ninja. I heard that you were going to bench many of the gradauting class since you just don't have enought senseis to train people. I can help myself, I learn fast... let me help as best as I can."

The man nodded, considering his words. "You are an exceptionally intelligent young man, I've read the reports on all of the various students... your academic scores were on par with the Fourth's, did you know that?" Mika slowly shook his head. "That was something we've never expected... very well, I will allow you to become a medic. I will send the papers in a few hours, go in the morning and ready yourself for hard work."

"That I can look forward too."

"Very well... you are dismissed."

And so Mika left, walking out on a ray of sunshine. "Finally, something is going right. I think I should go train for a bit, before I am inidated with hard medical exercises." He found himself soon in his own personal training ground, six miles south of the village proper. It was his favorite place, with beautiful trees and a pond, untouched by the Kyuubi attack somehow.

For the next three hours, he would kick, punch and spar against a tree stump... it stood no chance.

Life felt good...

If only that feeling would last.
