The Grecko Region... A region that holds pokemon the likes of which has never been seen before. True, there are some pokemon known in their respective regions. Just like anywhere else, you'll find pokemon with amazing abilities and such, but it's doubtful you've seen ones like here in the Grecko Region.

"Terra! Time to get up!" A woman called for her daughter. A young girl with long blonde hair got up from bed and opened the window to look outside to the wide world. Today was a special day for her.

"Today's the day. Today, I'm getting my own pokemon!" Terra claimed.

I want to be the very best

Like no one ever was

To catch them is my real test

To train them is my cause

(Davis' voice) New Region, New Journey

"I'm so excited." Terra said as she sat with her mother for breakfast. Her mother, Juliet, looked a lot like Terra with her having long wavy hair wearing a white blouse and blue dress. "I'm really going to get my own pokemon today!"

"On that note, have you decided on what kind of trainer you want to be?" Juliet asked.

"Not quite, but that's why I want to be a pokemon trainer." Terra said. "I want to find what it is that's out there for me. It also wouldn't hurt to have so many fabulous pokemon. I can just imagine the kind of pokemon I could have." She claimed as she pictured the kind of poekmon she could have. Most of them are ones that were beautiful, stunning, and just downright fabulous.

"Slow down. There's more to it than just having fabulous pokemon." Juliet said. "Have you at least decided on what starter pokemon you want?"

"Let's see." Terra said as she pulled out a card that has all the info she needed. On it were three pokemon she can choose from to be her partner. There was one that looked like a green chameleon with leaves around the base of it's tail. One looked like a red/orange kitten that was standing on two legs, round ears, and the top of it's head designed like a flame. The last one was like a polar bear cub standing on two legs with the top of it's head an icy blue. "There's Chamleaf that's a grass-type, Fleo that's a fire-type, and Pocub that's a water-type, as well as an ice-type. Any one of them are cute and would be great."

"Well, I'm sure Professor Sassafras will be able to help you. Now go get dressed so you can meet your new partner." Juliet said.

"Right!" Terra said as she was so excited. As Terra was getting herself ready, Juliet stepped outside and had look at their hometown called Olympa Town.

"What a beautiful day." Juliet said. "Perfect for starting a brand new journey."

"I'm all set! I was so excited that I packed everything last night." Terra said as she came down with her stuff. Terra was dressed with her having a pink headband with a white pokeball on it. She wore a black sleeveless top with her having dark green shorts. She wore a couple white wrist bands with green boots built for walking. However, she had a large suitcase with her that came with wheels.

"What's that for?" Juliet said.

"All my stuff for my journey." Terra said.

"Terra, you can't go around with a large case like that." Juliet said as she fixed this. "This is all you need." She said as she handed her a black and grey backpack to carry over her shoulder.

"What?! That's it?!" Terra questioned.

"This actually has everything you need, but be smart." Juliet said.

"Fine." Terra said as she put up with it. Once she grabbed her bag, she hurried outside and got on her own bike.

"You have fun on your journey, and promise me you'll be careful out there." Juliet said. "Professor Sassafras' lab is just on the other side of town. You do know how to get there, right?"

"Don't worry, Mom. I've got everything under control." Terra said. "I'll let you know how it's all going. So long!" She said as she started riding her bike with Juliet watching with pride that her daughter is old enough to be a trainer and is going out on her own.

Terra

Terra rode her bike around Olympa Town. As she rode her bike around, she looked around and noticed all the kinds of pokemon interacting with people. She couldn't wait to be one of them. Not to mention that infinite pokemon means infinite possibilities for her.

"This is so exciting!" Terra said as she couldn't wait. However, she wasn't watching where she was going and rode her bike out on the road and was about to run into a car. Luckily, it honked and warned her. Terra noticed it and steered away from the car. However, now she rode off the road and ended up crashing near a lake. "Ow... Why did I forget my helmet?" She was able to pull herself together as she stood up near the lake. She looked around and saw other pokemon around with her really enjoying the view. Suddenly, she heard something splash in the water and saw a woman emerged right out of there. The woman had tanned skin with long blonde hair and blue mascara over her eyes.

"That was a nice swim." The lady said. She then noticed Terra standing by the water. "Oh, hello there."

"Hi. I didn't mean to bother you." Terra said.

"It's fine." The woman said as she climbed out of the water and got her stuff together. "I was just simply interacting with the pokemon."

"That must be fun." Terra said.

"It surely is. Now, is there something you need help with?" The lady questioned.

"No, I'm okay." Terra said as she got her bike. "I'm on my way to Professor Sassafras' lab to get my very first pokemon. See?" She said as she held up the card.

"Oh! So you're the new trainer!" The lady said as she dried herself off and changed into her regular clothes. "I was hoping to meet you at the lab, but I suppose this way works. I can take you to my lab."

"Huh? Your lab?" Terra questioned.

"That's right. I'm Professor Sassafras." She introduced with Terra surprised that she actually ran into the person that would give her Terra's first pokemon. "What's wrong? Don't you want to get your pokemon?"

"Oh! Of course I do!" Terra said as she snapped back to reality and followed after the professor.

The Professor's Lab

Meanwhile, those who worked for the professor were making sure the pokemon for Terra were all set to go. All three of them were eating and were looking good.

"There we go." One of the assistant said. "You three are certainly hungry little fellows. Well, one of you is going to be given to a new trainer."

"Hey, can you give me a hand with this?" They all turned away and let the pokemon eat. However, Pocub noticed something out the window. It took a look and spotted an Oddish just walking by.

"Pocub!" Pocub tried acting like a friendly child and greeted Oddish, but then Oddish just stuck out it's tongue at Pocub. Pocub did not take that well as it tried pounding on the glass in annoyance.

"Pocub? What's wrong?" The assistant asked. The Oddish just kept mocking Pocub with it making faces. Pocub was getting really annoyed until it used Powder Snow right on the window. It froze the glass and was able to smash through. Oddish ran off with Pocub chasing after it in anger. "Pocub! You get back here right now!" She called, but Pocub just ran into the nearby woods.

"Dang it! This is just perfect! Pocub runs off with a new trainer coming! What's Professor Sassafras going to say when she sees this?!"

"See what?" All of the assistants turned around and felt like they were in real trouble with Professor Sassafras and Terra entering the lab and saw the damaged window. "What happened in here?!"

"I'm very sorry, Professor. We were getting everything ready for the new trainer when all of a sudden Pocub took off on its own."

"Pocub did?!" Terra said as that sounded bad.

"At least we still got Fleo and Chamleaf."

"Fleo?"

"Chamleaf..."

"That is good, but poor Pocub is still out there on it's own. We have to find it before it gets into some serious trouble." Professor Sassafras said.

"Professor, is there anything I can do to help?" Terra asked, but the Professor wasn't sure. "Please? What if I wanted Pocub as my partner? Either way, the poor little thing might need some help."

"You're right. If you find Pocub, be sure to approach it gently. Pocub could get scared and attack, so let it see you're not a threat." Professor Sassafras said. "Since Pocub is a water-type as well as an ice-type, you might be able to find it near water."

"Right. Thank you." Terra said as she glad to be able to help.

...

Terra

"Pocub! Pocub! Where are you?!" Terra called as she searched around for Pocub, but there wasn't a sign of it anywhere. "How far could that little guy have gone?" She looked around until she heard something in the bushes. Just then, Pocub and Oddish came running out. "Pocub! Wait!" She called as she chased after them.

"Pocub!" Pocub still tried attacking Oddish as it fired Water Gun, but missed a couple shots. Pocub kept trying, but it did hit something. Pocub's attacks ended up stirring a nest of Beedrill and they were all rather mad. When Pocub saw that, it ran in the opposite direction. The Beedrill chased after Pocub, and an angry swam of Beedrill is like being attacked by a supersized swam of bees. Pocub kept on running, but was soon saved as Terra came and pushed Pocub out of the way and they both came tumbling down a hill with the Beedrill flying off.

"That was close. Are you okay?" Terra questioned.

"Pocub?"

"You don't look hurt, but you couldn't have ran off on your own." Terra said as she got up. "At least you're safe." Terra was glad to be safe, but Pocub had nails come out of its paw and scratched Terra's face. "Aw! Hey!" She shouted as she dropped Pocub. "What was that for?" Pocub was just acting a little snarky. "Someone has an attitude." This was certainly not a good first impression, but it soon turned into a problem with them hearing a buzzing sound. They looked and saw the Beedrill found them and came back at them. "Oh man! The Beedrill are coming back!"

"Sptee!" All of the Beedrill attacked as they fired Pin Missile at them.

"Pocub!" Terra called as she tried to shield Pocub from the attacks. Terra tried her best to endure the attacks with Pocub worried on what might happen to her. Just then, one of the Beedrill came at her with its stingers out. This time, Pocub tried to save her as it used Powder Snow again and blasted Beedrill with it.

"Good going, Pocub! Now let's run for it!" Terra said as she carried Pocub and tried running for it. The three of them made their way through the woods with the Beedrill coming after them. All the Beedrill tried to chase after them, but they happened to miss them. Terra and Pocub took cover behind some plants and waited for the Beedrill to pass before they came out. "I think they're gone."

"Pocub..."

"Hey, thanks for saving me. You might be a little bratty, but you are as brave as you are cute." Terra said with Pocub feeling flattered.

...

The Lab

"Well, you certainly had an interesting experience. What you witnessed will be more or less the same as when you're a trainer." Professor Sassafras said. "However, it sounds like you handled it well. You're already showing the makings of a good trainer."

"Wow. I'm really excited." Terra said. "I'm not sure what kind of trainer I want to be, but traveling around is so much fun and maybe I'll find what it is I want to be out there."

"Pokemon can be a good inspiration and a great way to discover the world." Professor Sassafras said. "Of course, you actually need a pokemon. Now, you have these three choices." She claimed as she gestured to the pokemon. "We have Chamleaf, a grass-type."

"Chamleaf."

"Pocub, a water-type." Professor Sassafras said.

"Pocub!"

"And we have Fleo, a fire-type." Sassafras claimed.

"Fleo!"

"So, have you decided as to which of these three you would like?" Professor Sassafras asked.

"Yeah. I would like Pocub." Terra said with Pocub pleasantly surprised she chose it. "We already went through quite an experience together." She claimed as she lifted Pocub into her arms. "I think we're going to have some fun together."

"Pocub!" Pocub certainly liked the sound of that.

"Well, here you go. This is Pocub's pokeball." Professor Sassafras said as she gave it to her. "You'll also need a pokedex and other pokeballs to capture other pokemon." She claimed as she handed them over. The pokedex was even a unique design. It was small, but one could wear it on their wrist like a bracelet. "With this pokedex, you can learn about the various pokemon you encounter."

"Thanks a lot." Terra said as she placed the pokedex right on her left wrist. "This is going to be so much fun!" Terra was so excited. She was now a trainer and has her own pokemon. Now that she got all that she needed, it was time to see what the world has to offer for her.

"Be sure to have some fun on your journey, and take good care of your pokemon." Professor Sassafras said.

"I will! Thanks again!" Terra said as she got on her bike and rode off. Everyone saw her off. It's always a great feeling to see new trainers setting out and beginning their journey. It's a brand new adventure for her.

"Well, that was certainly great. Now, if you'll all excuse me, I got a call from Professor Oak today. He says a special young trainer is coming over and he wants me to help him out." Professor Sassafras claimed.

The Airport

Meanwhile, a plane landed down at an airport just outside of Olympa Town. That plane had the passionate trainer from another world. Davis and Imperialdramon have landed down in the Grecko region. A region filled with pokemon that even their old friend Ash hasn't met or explored yet. That's why they wanted to come here. Once their plane landed, Davis and Imperialdramon stepped outside and had a look around to what was ahead of them.

"Wow! We're here in the Grecko region! Can you believe it?!" Davis said.

"You said it!" Imperialdramon claimed.

"Not even Ash has been here. There are pokemon never been seen before." Davis said as he was so excited. Davis always respected Ash, but now he wants to try and surpass him. "Let's go, Imperialdramon! Time to see what this region really... Huh?" That was when something strange happened. Dark clouds were beginning to cover the bright sky directly over the airport. "Did the forecast call for a storm?"

"Wait. Something's not right." Imperialdramon said. "There's something in there." He could sense it. There was something in that storm... Something powerful. Just then, the clouds began to form and it was like a tornado came down from right above them. The wind surrounded them and now they were trapped.

"What is this?!" Davis questioned as he didn't like how this looked. Imperialdramon was right that this pokemon, whatever it was, was a powerful one. As it stayed within the clouds, Davis and Imperialdramon could be in real danger.

Just as Terra has begun her journey and Davis arriving in the Grecko, Davis already finds himself in strange predicament. What is the cause of this strange storm? What will become of these two young trainers? Fate is beginning to intertwine.
