Danny Rand practiced his breathing as he sat in the shadows. He's senses being increased by his sight being gone as he was wearing a blindfold, he focused his hearing and waited before he heard something behind him, grabbing a small stone that was next to him, threw it in the direction of the noise. He turned his head while clenching his fist and punched the air where he heard the noise, only to hear the small gusts of wind off of his fist, he stood still and listened to the environment around him. There it was faint but he could hear the footsteps of someone. He shifted his stance to block an attack
'Tail, punch, punch, kick, kick, tail, tail, tail, and then fist' Danny as he guessed which and everyone of the attacks that were being sent at him, "you're going well Ojiro"
"Thank you" Ojiro said as he dashed off as Danny refocused his breathing
"Now tell me, why do you want to know how to use your chi?" he asked
"I want to see if for another person, SPIRALLING TAIL DANCE!" he cried out coming in from above, which Danny quickly blocked, only for his knees to bend
"And who would that be?" Danny asked throwing Ojiro off his arms and in front of him
"My girlfriend Toru" Ojiro told him
"The one who is invisible all the time, why not seek help from the Fantastic four?" Danny asked
"I'm not sure they could help" Ojiro admitted.
"I'm sure they will. Reed is a pretty smart guy; and if he can't you have a lot of other highly intelligent people around you who can help with her quirk." Danny told him
"Thank you for helping me train" Ojiro bowed "I'll be going now"
"Anytime Ojiro" Danny bowed back and then grabbed his shirt and walked out of the room.
While Ojrio was training in the simulator on board the Liberator Toru was in her room, looked in the mirror, she was wearing a black strapless black dress over a mesh top, a pair of gloves and black high heels and stocks, she looked in the mirror
"hey Toru, looking fine girl" Mina asked walking in
"Yeah, but I can't tell what else I look like, I mean my body is invisible, so it's only my clothes I know how they look like, I mean what colour is my hair?" she asked a bit sad
"Blue" Mina smiled
"My eyes?" she turned to her friend.
"Green" Mina told her "It doesn't matter what you look like girl, you have Ojiro with you and that's all that should matter" Mina compliment her best friend, "Beside no matter what you look cute" she hugged Hagakure
"Do you ever think I'll find out?" Toru asked
"I'm sure you will, and when you do I hope I'm there for you" Mina smiled
"Thanks Mina" Hagakure giggled
"No worries, now let's head out with Momo and Kyokoa" Mina told her
"Girls day out sounds good. What about Tsu and Ochako?" Hakagure asked
"I'm not sure, I think they went to see Ryukyu" Mina said
"Shame" Toru sighed
"Don't worry we'll hang out with them later" Mina told her
"Okay, sounds like a plan" Toru laughed, high fiving her best friend happily.
Walking the street of the town was a man of seemingly Himalayan origins, but really he was from K'un-Lun. He sneered as he walked around this Japan, he wanted to destroy it all, but right now he needed something. The Iron Fist and when he had that he would return K'un-Lun and become the rightful leader.
"I am the Steel Serpent, and I am the one destined for the Iron Fist" he declared, his hand glowing red
"I know" a man said as he walked over
"Loki" Steel Serpent said, glaring at the trickster "What is it you're doing here?"
"Just taking a stroll, I must admit this world is more interesting than ours" Loki nodded "So you're going after the Iron Fist, especially with Power Man around?" Loki asked
"He may be a bit of a deterrent; but not one I can't overcome" Steel Serpent said
"I see" Loki said "Well then, I bet you'll have fun" Loki smiled before he walked off, looking back 'He's a fool. But I do need him so I can uncover' Loki thought in his head before he stopped. "Oh by the way Davos" Loki said making the Steel Serpent look at him "apparently Doom is looking for Sterns" Loki told him
"Why?" Steel Serpent inquired confused
"I do not know" Loki shrugged
"I will look for him" Davos said as he walked off.
"Good luck" Loki smiled.
"There's some weird activity downtown, Luke do you and Danny think you guys can look into it?" Jean asked
"Sure Jean" Luke said as the two left
"Sir!" Ojiro ran over "may I join you?" he asked
"You sure kid?" Luke asked
"I am, after all you guys don't know this city too well do you, even though you've been here about a month or so" Ojiro bowed
"Thank you" Danny bowed back
"Okay, let's do this" Luke said cracking his knuckles as they left for the teleporter.
"So this is a nice city you have here" Luke said as he looked around, the cherry blossoms filling the air with pink petals.
"Indeed, it reminds me of our Japan" Danny said
"You've been to Japan?" Ojiro asked
"I have, I run a multimillion dollar company like Dr Pym and Mr Stark;" Danny informed him
"They've even collaborated on projects from time to time" Luke said
"So how did you get your quirk, ah sorry power?" Ojiro asked
"Me or Danny?" Luke asked
"Either of you" Ojrio shrugged.
"My parent's plane crashed in the Himalayas and I was the only survivor; after a few weeks after that crashed; I was found by a couple of monks of a sacred city that is outside our world took me in and raised me. Once I was old enough and when I had trained enough I did battle with a dragon named Shou-Lao. I discovered his weakness which was a scar on his chest which gave him life energy, so I covered the scar with my body, which gave me this brand" Danny started to explain showing off his dragon brand on his chest., "And once I had defeated the dragon I walked to the brazier containing his molten heart and plunged my hands into it, gaining the power of the Iron Fist; the ability to channel my chi" Danny smiled
"Me on the other hand I was sent to prison, and while I was there I got experiment on, giving my strength and unbreakable skin" Luke shrugged
"Whoa" Ojiro said
"Yeah" the two said before they looked around, seeing nothing there when suddenly Danny got into a stance
"Davos" Danny scowled
"Ah Outsider, how good to see you, and now I will finally take back what was stolen from me" Steel serpent smirked
"Come and take it if you can" Danny said pulling out a yellow bandana like mask and pulled it on, matching the green mask that Steel Serpent was wearing, his hands glowing golden which was similar to the red glow coming from Steel Serpent's fists.
"Okay snakey, time to skin you" Luke punched his fist
"Um" Ojiro said as he got ready
"No, you stay back" Danny said as he raced forward.
Steel Serpent quickly blocked on of Iron Fist's punched before he was kicked in the side, flipping over the Steel Serpent, the man in turned spun around and caught Danny's fist.
"You've gotten better" Steel Serpent said before he threw an elbow into iron Fist's side. The golden chi user jumped back and created a dragon of golden chi, while Steel Serpent summoned a serpent of red chi, which hissed at the dragon and flew at it, the Dragon roaring and flew at the red chi creation, exploding in a bright orange light as Iron Fist did a flying kick to Steel Serpent's mid section. Luke charged in with his Shoulder lowered, crashing into the villain before he grabbed this head and brought it up to his own, which made a satisfying crack making Luke smirk as he pushed Steel Serpent back and swung a fist into his jaw, breaking it. Steel Serpent spat a tooth out and then focused his chi into his hand and placed them against his chi, the negative energy flowing through the injury healing it.
"I hate that he has that skill" Iron Fist said doing the same to his ribs.
"I got this" Luke said as he blocked another attack, his one making him slide back. "Then again" he said before he felt the winds picking up "What the?" Luke asked before he felt Ojiro jump off his shoulder and did a swirling tail dance attack on the Steel Serpent's shoulder before he delivered a couple of punches to the chest of the Steel Serpent. Who was surprised and forced back, then he glared at the student.
"So you are one of those students huh?" Steel Serpent asked before he delivered a chi enhanced attack to his chest, only for Ojiro jumped out of the way and get into a stance,
"Ojiro!" Danny shouted as the winds continued to pick up as a woman in a white and blue costume landed and made the winds stop.
I was in the area and so I thought I would come over and give you a hand" she said
"Aero" Danny said
"Hello" she smiled before she focused on the man before her. "Ni Hao Davos" Aero growled
"I'm surprised to see you here Aero" Steel Serpent said as he ran at her
"Oh that is a poor choice." She smiled as she pushed her hands out making a wave of air shoot out from her body and fly at the villain, who was knocked back. Getting up Steel Serpent adopted a fighting posse, while Aero flicked her cape back adopting her own martial arts form.
Moving first by propelling her aerokinesis to move quicker and delivered a few swift kicks to the shoulders and side of Steel Serpent before twirling back around in front of the villain, a smile on her face
"Come on then, I thought you were trying to hit me" Aero taunted as she flicked hr hand up in a 'come get some' motion, making the Steel Serpent charge at her, only who have the air shift his attacks subtly. Ojiro look on in amazement as he had heard of the sky's fist technique. The ability to simply attack with air using a martial art. Aero we doing it flawlessly, which swing of her arms was making the wind move the opponent's arm in a graceful manner.
"Incredible" Ojiro softly stated.
"Yeah she's something else" Luke smiled as she leapt into the air and created blades of air, all of them flying towards Steel Serpent, only for him to block each one with his dark chi infused arms and feet.
"I'm impressed" Steel Serpent said as he got onto a different stance "But did you forget what I am, I am the Steel Serpent; a warrior of K'un-Lun" moving in quickly he started to strike Aero's pressure points, each one of the strikes blocking her powers and movements; she hissed as she stepped back panting. She then took a moment to relax as the wind swirled around her, Steel Serpent think he had, Iron Fist quickly jumped in and deflected an attack from the Steel Serpent, before he adopted a stance similar to Dragon stance Southern Kung-Fu
"So dragon style huh?" Steel Serpent said switching to a snake stance, the world seemingly lost all sense of sound before the two charged at each other, fighting as if they were playing a game of chess, each move calculated to strike and block, the fight was fairly even. Neither one was giving an inch of ground to the other in this fight. They were too evenly matched.
"Shouldn't we?" Ojiro asked as he watched the fight.
"Nope" Luke muttered
"Why not?" Ojiro asked
"Because we would be stepping into the path of two dragons" Aero frowned, as the two were forced back due to a shockwave for their fists colliding.
"Okay this may be going a bit too far" Loki said as he watched the fight from the rooftop of a building, a frown on evident on his face, he had intended to have the Steel Serpent fight some heroes while he looked for the one that had escaped after learning of Doom's plan telepathically. Loki would find him, get him to spill the evidence to whatever Doom is planning and then make good use of the information before taking over for Doom, he had his own plans and none of them involved Doom. He looked at the fight, but something shiny took his attention away from the fight "What is that?" he asked as he saw a group of teenage girls standing there before one of them caught something in her hand. He simply walked into the doorway appearing on the street in an alley walking out to see the group was a quartet of girls from UA. He didn't think he knew their names; but one of them was holding something in her hand before she threw it into the air towards the fight, Loki saw this as a way to make the fight more exciting, so he allowed it to happened.
"Oh this is going to be fun" Loki smirked.
Danny was panting, signifying that he was losing stamina. He had to beat the Steel Serpent and quickly otherwise he was a goner. Closing his eye he heard something, something spinning through the air. He held his hand up , allowing what was in the air landing in his hand, gripping it he felt he weight know it was a pair of nunchaku. Smiling his quickly flourished ,a smirk on his face eh looked at Steel Serpent and quickly started to spin the nunchaku and hit Steel Serpent in the head a couple of times then delivering a kick to his rib, spinning around and hitting hsi knee with the nunchaku, with a final swing he kicked Steel Serpent off his feet and, crashing onto his back. Groaning significed that teh Steel Serpent was down.
"Yosh" Danny exhaled. "Now Davos, what are you doing here?" he asked
"Doom, someone betrayed him" Davos said shocking the three heroes
"By who?" Danny asked
"A traitor?" Luke asked
"If we can secure him in the ant hill then we can get key intel on what Doom is planning" Aero said
"HEY YOU GUYS!" Mina shouted as the group of four girls ran over.
"Ah hello" Danny smiled. "I must thank you for the weapon miss Yaoyorozu" Danny bowed
"oh, no worries" Yaoyorozu bowed before straightening up
"Hey Toru, you look nice" Jiro complimented her
"Oh thank you" Hagakure blushed, even though he could see it. Smiling Ojiro kissed her, before he was pushed into her
"HEY!" he exclaimed
"Well we gotta go, we forgot about that homework assignment Mr Aizawa gave us" Mina smirked
"What?" Jiro and Yaoyorzu asked before they were pushed away by Mina
"I suppose we better head back to base and give an incident report" Aero smiled
"I guess" Danny said
"But do we?" Luke asked before Danny and Aero elbowed him, making him finally get the hint, "Oh yeah"
"Have fun you two" Mina chuckled as they all left, leaving the couple behind
"I think they want us to go on a date" Ojiro sighed
"yeah me too" Hagakura said "So shall we?" she asked happily
"We shall" Ojiro smiled holding his girlfriend's hand.
"THERE IS STILL NO SIGN OF HIM!" Doom shouted banging his fist on his throne's armrests
"No there isn't lord Doom" Mordo frowned
"And I have not been able to find him either" Magneto said
"He's eluding us very well" Kraven growled
"he's a tricky one for sure" Loki commented making Doom glower at him "Did I say something wrong?" he asked
"Where have you been?" Doom asked
"Looking for the one who betrayed us; and I have a good chance of what he is planning" Loki stated
"Oh, and what is that?" Doom asked.
"Simple, he's gaping to try and draw the attention of the heroes to him so they can arrest him in their helicarrier so we can't get to him" Loki informed Doom
"Very well, we shall wait" Doom said, smiling under his mask shocking those with him "Sidewinder!"
"Yes sir?" the leader of the Serpent Society asked
"If they do find the traitor, make sure you bring him along when you rescue our dear allies in the Ant-Hill" Doom ordered him
"Very well sir" Sidewinder smiled.
That night Izuku was practicing his shoot style in the yard in front of the dorm, the starlight and lights from inside gently illuminating the ground as he did a few more kick before grabbing his water bottle to have a drink Izuku looked up at the stars, taking his time to admire them, only for a frown to appear as he saw some new stars, or what he thought were stars as they started to mover, revealing they were not stars but rather glowing eyes. Izuku was even more concerned when he realised that he was looking at a giant silhouette, who just happened to be looking back at him before disappeared
"What was that?" he asked
"What was what?" Ochako asked as she walked outside.
"You didn't see that?" Izuku asked
"See what" Ochako frowned.
"Something massive watching us" Izuku said.
"Don't be silly we would have known if they were. Now come on Momo's made some hot chocolate, so better come and get some before its all gone" she smiled
"Sounds good" Izuku smiled as he joined her, not noticing teh figure was back and their gaze turning from Izuku and Ochako to a glint of silver light.
G'day Guys Grizz here, and what the shit is the watcher doing here? That properly not going to be important. So this is mainly centered on the Heroes for Hire with Ojiro taking a spotlight as well, with hints of the Toru subplot, just keep that in my when I go into the more darker places of it in the future, I like Hagakure and her cheery manner; I'm just doing something new with her as a character and it will be revealed more; also Aero is a hidden gem of a series that I believe is a Chinese comic Marvel collaborated with, which is very good and has some damn nice artwork!
