"Kaiser! Over here!" A Kreigsnacht called.

Kaiser Freezo walked over to Sgt. Louis. "What have you found, sarge?" He asked.

Louis zoomed in on the display of the feedback from the countless observation drones in the universe. "The drone has found what appears to be a military task force."

"Appears to be?" Freezo asked.

"Well, it's hard to tell. Just look at the technology."

Freezo squinted his eyes. "The technology looks biomechanical. But, it appears to lean more toward the biotic part." Louis continued.

"Good kautis." Freezo remarked.

"You preen your feathers with that beak?" Louis asked, half joking.

"Don't push it, lad." Freezo warned, half serious. He rushed over to the eccentriphone and dialed up the number for the base currently holding Chirp Team 6. "General Osman. Do you copy?" Freezo asked.

"Aye, sir." Osman replied. It still surprised Kaiser Freezo how Osman's guttural voice could be heard just fine over an eccentriphone. "Osman, I need you and Chirp Team Six to head over to Aikaunest."

"What are we investigating?"

"An extragalactic force is about to invade it. Make sure it isn't some new technology from the Shektötet."

"It will be done, Kaiser. And what shall the protocol be if it isn't any of our historic enemies, but is still a threat?"

Freezo thought on that. He ultimately sighed and said, "You let us know then. We'll send reinforcements. If it gets too serious, we'll maybe even declare war."

"We'll see to it that things don't get to that point." Osman assured before signing off. Freezo sighed, and caressed his beak. "You think they'll make it in time?" Louis asked.

"I'm not sure. But warn Lord Steinwald anyway. It may serve us well."

The Sweet Home arrived at Aikaunest roughly 23 minutes after departure, and 38 minutes after the mission was issued. The cruiser arrived between the 2 planets Rhommamool and Osarian. Admiral Leonard did a little hacking until he found the operating frequency of the Mediator. "This is Großadmiral Leonard of the Sweet Home. I'm requesting permission to dock a landing ship."

There was silence on the other end. Probably shocked from my pronunciation. Leonard thought. "What did you call yourself?" The person on the other end asked.

"Forgive me. It's a native language. I'm a Grand Admiral."

There was a shorter pause. "May I inquire the purpose of this boarding?"

Leonard was afraid that the responder would ask that. He sighed. "I'm afraid that information is classified."

"I assure you, there is no illegal activity aboard this vessel, Sweet Home."

"I never accused you of such."

After a while of assurances, the captain of the Mediator finally allowed a group of 3 Kreigsnächte to board the ship. An Me 323 Gigant Gamma dropped from the Sweet Home, and flew towards the Mediator.

"Why it called Mediator?" Nausch Feuer asked telegraphically.

"The name seems pretty self-explanatory. There's likely a conflict between the two nearby planets." Osman explained.

Anna Alu looked up from the co-pilot seat. "We've got some interceptors on our tail." She warned.

"Shektöten?" Osman asked.

"No, why?"

"We're all right then."

A little while later, a fighter with wings in the shape of an X appeared and quickly took care of the fighters. Osman allowed a sigh to escape his beak. "Shame. They didn't even get the chance to fire on us." He remarked.

"Think it cold-blooded kill?" Feuer asked.

"Most likely." Alu replied.

"No time for mourning. Let's just dock and figure out if the invaders sent any spies ahead of the fleet." Osman ordered.

The trio left the craft. Crew that entered the hangar were astonished by its design, but the 3 members of Chirp Team 6 refused to answer their questions. The trio wandered about the corridors of the Mediator, eventually coming across another hangar. Osman's full-head helmet hid it, but he was impressed that a ship so small even had this many hangars. However, his astonishment was interrupted by an argument between a woman and a man. "You can't just instigate fights like that!" The woman argued.

"Hey, I saved you three back there!" The man remarked.

Osman himself didn't entirely approve of the man's method, but he refused to get involved in the argument. Unfortunately for him, Nausch felt otherwise. He turned to the group of people and said, "If kill in cold blood, then kill is bad."

Alu cringed inwardly, as she didn't want them to get involved. The 2 adults turned to face them. The teenager, the other adult, and a golden humanoid droid accompanying them looked more stunned than the other two. "Who the kriff are you?" The man asked.

"Oh dear." The droid remarked.

"Sergeant Nausch Feuer."

"Never heard of you. You have no need to be getting involved in this discussion. Leave us." The man remarked.

Osman decided he had heard enough. He stepped forward to the man, and pointed a clawed index finger at him. "Don't you ever talk to any of my comrades like that, ever again, boy." The man seemed deeply startled by Osman's voice. Osman looked at the corner of his eye through his visor, and saw the startled looks on the others as well. Interesting how they only got startled after I spoke. Osman thought.

"I don't think this will go over well!" The droid whined.

Ignoring the droid, the teen asked, "Who are you?"

"General Lieutenant Osman. Why? You gonna make a hateful remark?"

The teen held up her hands in defense. "No, no! I swear!"

The red-head stood up to her defense. "I promise you sir, she meant no disrespect."

Osman's helmet UI revealed intriguing levels of energy emanating from the red-head. However, he decided to get on with introductions. "Who are you four?" He asked.

"I'm Mara. This is my apprentice, Jaina." She gestured to the other woman, "That's my sister-in-law, Leia." Mara then gestured to the droid, albeit hesitantly. "That is See-Threepio." When Mara went to gesture to the man, she seemed hesitant. The man seemed to notice this despite not seeing Mara, and spoke up. "I'm Wurth Skidder." He said coldly.

Osman gestured towards Alu. "That's Staff Sergeant Alu." He said.

"Why are you three here?" Leia asked. She was hoping to diffuse the situation, and direct it away from the prior argument. Osman looked over to her. "Classified." He replied.

"I mean this as respectfully as I can; why do you sound like… that?" Jaina asked.

Osman directed his gaze towards the teen. "That story's too long for me to tell you." He replied calmly. At least Jaina hoped it was calm.

"May we ask why you four are here?" Alu asked.

Jaina got a smirk on her face. "Classified." She said coolly.

Osman allowed himself to chuckle at her remark. However to everyone else, it sounded more like a 70 year-old chain smoker choking. When he realized everyone's confused looks, he asked, "What?"
