The Sweet Home accelerated to several times faster than lightspeed. It left the 2 planets quickly, and arrived at the outer edge of the galaxy, over the planet Belkadan. "The good news about splitting our forces is that half of us are working outwards, and we get to work inwards." Sgt. Maj. Sariah Seinko remarked as the rest of Chirp Team 6 boarded an Me 264 Drei.

"So why are we here?" Pvt. Friedrich Paul asked.

"Because while Generalleutnant Osman is investigating any spies inside the galaxy, we're gonna investigate where our observation probes tracked the anomalies." Ssgt. Kristoff Neikau explained.

The Sweet Home descended into the atmosphere. The 3 members of CT6 were notified of observation posts on the planet. Sariah considered this information as a potential site of interest. Once the Sweet Home reached an altitude of around 16.8 km above ground level, the Me 264 Drei was released from the cruiser. The VTOL craft activated its 4 turboprops, and its descent was slowed. Seinko activated plane mode, and the aircraft's wings rotated downward, and the team was off.

"So where's the observation facility?" Neikau asked.

Paul checked the nav. "About 27 klicks off starboard."

Sariah accepted the approximate destination, and directed the aircraft accordingly.

Yomin Carr gazed intently at the panel. As much as he despised technology, it was the only way to announce to his superior, Nom Anor, that the invasion fleet was arriving. As he gazed at his nav board, he saw 2 blips. Odd. I thought there was supposed to be one. He thought. He watched as a smaller blip left from the largest of the 2 original blips, and got closer. Either way, he saw the blip he was looking for, and quickly went to disable communications.

The Me 264 Drei was 19 km from its destination. That was when Paul noticed something odd. "Sarge? Our network is detecting a disturbance from the observation facility. As though it has ceased extraplanetary contact." He reported.

Seinko clacked her beak a few times. She then increased the speed of the aircraft. "We have to get there asap. It may be the efforts of a potential spy."

"How can we be certain?" Neikau asked.

"Well if you have any other suggestions, we're all ears."

Neikau got the message, and shut himself up. "Can I get an ETA?" Seinko asked.

"Twelve minutes." Paul replied.

Inside the ExGal-4 facility, Danni Quee saw the 3 blips on the sensor board. "Hey everyone, we're getting some things." She reported.

"Oh wow, some things. So specific." Garth Breise remarked sarcastically.

"Well, if you've got a better description, be my guest." Danni muttered under her breath. Everyone else flocked to the panel as Danni adjusted it to give a clearer picture. "Stang, we've actually found something!" Tee-ubo Doole remarked.

"Shall we report it to home command?" Danni suggested.

"We must. They need to know we've found something." Jerem Cadmir said.

Yomin Carr hid his worry when he said, "What if it's actually just an asteroid? It could've somehow gotten ejected from the galaxy, and could be coming back. As for the larger blip with its smaller blip, I have no theory." The natives couldn't figure out that the first blip was actually the Praetorite Vong fleet, "Anyway, we should wait for further action. Otherwise, we may waste home command's time, and brought ourselves a lot of embarrassment."

Not many of his colleagues were on board with the idea. However, they were outvoted. "What of the other 2 blips?" Cadmir asked.

"Those are closer. Perhaps we could have someone keep a close eye on them, and report any communications from them." Breise suggested.

Nom Anor was pleased upon hearing his spy's report. Finally, after many years in the making, this invasion has come to pass. He thought. He stashed away the villip, and continued with his work of destabilizing the New Republic.

"Try contacting them on local network." Seinko ordered. Paul nodded, and began analyzing the frequencies. Why did their broadcasting equipment have to go offline? This would've been ten times easier if it hand't. Paul thought.

After a while, they began hearing voices. "I think this is it!" Paul announced.

"... and report any communications from them." A man's voice said.

"Are they talking about us?" Neikau asked.

"Who else could they be referring to?" Seinko asked, "Contact them."

"This is Chirp Team Six. To whom are we speaking?" Paul said over the intercom. However, he had spoken it in Kreigsneutsch, so the people he was talking to had absolutely no clue on what he had said. "Uhm… what did this being say?" A female voice said.

"I don't know, but he sure sounded angry." Another female voice remarked.

The intercom system was designed to allow the people being contacted to be heard whether they wanted to be or not, though it didn't work the other way around. This was how Paul realized his mistake, but he wanted the people at ExGal-4 to remark on it. "We don't understand you." The original female voice said.

"Sorry, that's on me. I was speaking Kreigsneutsch." Paul said.

"Kreigsneutsch?" A male voice remarked, "Are you beings extragalactic?" The following remark gave the hint that he was very excited. Paul quickly looked to his superiors, who were shaking their heads, Neikau was even giving a throat slashing gesture. However, he misunderstood what Neikau was trying to do and said, "I think we're getting ourselves decapitated?"

There was an awkward pause. "What?" A different male voice remarked.

"Are they okay?" The original female voice asked.

Paul removed his hand from the contact panel. "What did that throat slash mean?"

Neikau gave an exasperated sigh. "In this context, it was meant to tell you to korfing stop. They can't know that we're extragalactic." He said, his voice rising incrementally.

"Let me handle this." Seinko said. She left the controls, and Neikau took over piloting the Me 264 Drei. She depressed the call button. "Sorry about my subordinate." She said.

"Are you people extragalactic? We've never heard anything like your language before." The original female voice said.

"Oh, that's ridiculous! You must be quite sloshed there." Seinko remarked.

"I'm perfectly sober, despite your claims."

"Do you actually think we're extragalactic?" Seinko said, making it sound as though she were laughing, and unable to take the woman's remark seriously. Neikau and Paul even gave fake laughs. Seinko turned off the mic, and turned to Paul. "If they find out we're extragalactic, then if there's a spy among them, our cover will be blown, and we could be killed before we can stop the invaders." She explained. Paul nodded. "Forgive me, sarge."

"Don't let it happen again."
