A rewrite AU of the last page of chapter 24 in Beyond the Shadows. Elene sees Vi in the Chantry and has an important decision to make, Justice or mercy. I recently reread the series and some parts weren't as good as I remembered, so I rewrote one of them. I've tried to stay true to the original, only adding what I think makes Elene a more well-rounded and more relatable character.

This is my first story. I give all credit of characters and previous events to Brent Weeks. This writing is simply my twist into the future i hoped to happen to Kylar. If you haven't read the Night Angel Trilogy. I loved it enough to write this. Enjoy. This is set about thirty years after Beyond the shadows.

This is only a piece so far. I am looking for criticisms. I'm not quite the author Brent Weeks is but I would like to create this piece as a sort of closure for the fans of the Night Angel Trilogy.
