A/N: Hello. As you can see, the revamp of "Adventure Time with Finn, Jake, & Rachel" has arrived. And this time, it'd start off with a pilot chapter similar to both the animated short pilot and the short episode involving the wand. I'll admit that there was some stuff about the pilot I didn't quite like, but there were also others I did like. So, that was where I got the idea to combine both the pilot chapter and the wand short while introducing Ice Princess Rachel a little bit better. Oh, and for those who don't exactly know how Rachel looks exactly, I made a few pics on DeviantArt that helps shed some light on the subject. :) There may be other outfits I have in mind for Rachel on certain episodes as it goes along. I might even be able to make a poster for "Adventure Time with Finn, Jake, & Rachel" sometime soon. Enjoy.
Adventure Time with Finn, Jake, & Rachel
Prologue: The Ice Princess & The Wand
It all began one day as a human boy named Finn Mertins and a dog named Jake were laying down with the former laying on Jake. This may be due to the fact that Jake is no ordinary dog: he's a magic dog, and in a bigger form, no less. The two were each holding a human baby girl and a cute female puppy, both of which have thought translators.
"Jake, these clouds are beautiful, dude.", Finn grinned.
"Yeah. One of them even looks like a gumball guardian.", the human baby spoke via thought translator.
"That's right, Mille. And that cloud looks like the castle.", the female puppy added via her own thought translator.
"Yeah, Callie. Makes me wish I didn't have to poop ever again and could just la... ah...ow!", Jake exclaimed as he shrank to normal size and felt something poking at him from beneath him.
"Hey, what the heck am I laying on? Hmm!", Jake puzzled as he tried to fish out the cause.
What he found was a magic wand, and it shot out colored spirits. Curious, he aimed the wand at his foot, and it transformed into a baby duck, which started spitting out tiny purple stars when it tweeted as well. His foot returned to normal after a moment.
"Holy stuff!", Finn spoke in amazement.
"That... actually looks fun.", Mille commented.
"Imagine all that raw power at our disposal.", Callie added before cackling a bit, earning stares from everyone.
"What? I'm just excited, okay?", Callie asked.
"Mm-hmm.", Mille responded, almost as if in disbelief.
Jake then looked at Finn.
"Let's get outta here and wreck some stuff with this thing!", Jake shouted eagerly.
"Yeah!", Finn agreed, laughing briefly.
Then, Finn and Jake, whilst carrying Mille and Callie in baby carriers, ran down the hill happily.
Just then, Lady Rainicorn zoomed past the two into the air.
"Whoa! What the flip was that?", Finn puzzled.
Jake saw the answer for himself as he looked up.
"Oh, snap, look! It's Princess Bubblegum's rainicorn! She looks super-stressed out.", Jake stated.
"But why?", Mille puzzled.
"Something must've happened to Princess Bubblegum that left her stressed out that much. After all, don't similar circumstances like that happen to all of us?", Callie asked.
"Well, let's go cheer her up. To the max!", Finn suggested.
"Yeah! Yeah, let's do it!", Jake agreed.
Sure enough, they began to run whilst carrying Mille and Callie.
"Woo-hoo!", Finn cheered.
"Rrrrroar!", Jake roared while growing huge.
Then, Finn hopped on top of Jake's back and shouted to Lady Rainicorn from below.
"Hey! What's wrong!?", Finn asked.
"그 못된 얼음왕이 내 가장 친한 친구인 보니를 납치했어요!", Lady Rainicorn explained in Korean, which translates to, "That no-good Ice King kidnapped my best friend, Bonnie!"
"Wait, what did she say?", Finn asked.
Now, Jake is fluent in the Korean language, so he knew what the rainicorn said.
"She said that that no-good Ice King kidnapped her best friend, Bonnie.", Jake responded.
"He kidnapped Princess Bubblegum? Aw, the Ice King is an oxymoron.", Finn groaned.
"Seriously...", Jake agreed.
"그게 내가 할 마지막 일이라면 그 얼음왕이 PB를 납치한 것을 후회하게 만들 거야!", Lady Rainicorn shouted in anger, saying, "If it's the last thing I'll do, I'm gonna make that Ice King sorry he ever kidnapped PB!" before flying away.
"Hey, wait!", Finn called.
"It looks like she's flying into the Ice Kingdom.", Callie said.
"So what do we do?", Mille asked.
"Survey the situation.", Finn stated before he then pulled out his binoculars and looked at Ice King's castle.
Inside, while Princess Bubblegum sat on the floor with a squat, accompanied by a long, snow-white haired, blue-skinned girl with a white dress that had a blue jewel at the center named Ice Princess Rachel, Ice King was trying to burn a giant ant from afar with a magnifying glass, but wasn't making much progress. He grumbled at this obstacle as the giant ant made a trombone sound.
"Oh... why won't you die?", Ice King asked in frustration.
"You know that's not gonna work, right?", Bubblegum asked.
"Yeah, you're just practically shining a searchlight on him. In the daylight.", Rachel snarked.
"Oh, hush you!", Ice King responded.
Suddenly, Lady Rainicorn shouted in Korean as she suddenly appeared through the window, surprising him.
"What the...?", Ice King puzzled.
"버블검 공주를 보내지 않으면, 이 뭉치야!", Lady threatened in korean, actually saying, "Let Princess Bubblegum go or else, you wad!".
Immediately, she blasted him with her horn, knocking him back to the wall near Bubblegum and Rachel, earning their snickers.
"So, you wanna attack me in my home, do you? Well, trust me. This does not come without a risk of retaliation!", Ice King shouted before he then started shooting ice lightning at Lady Rainicorn.
Finn sighed.
"What's up?", Jake asked.
"The Ice King is throwing frozen lightning bolts at the Rainicorn.", Finn replied as Jake put on the binoculars and saw for himself.
"That guy is a total patoot.", Jake commented.
"He's like 50 patoots!", Finn agreed.
But that's not all. While Ice King continued to shoot frozen lightning at Lady, he spotted both Princess Bubblegum and Ice Princess Rachel behind him.
"Whoa! And there's Princess Bubblegum! And another princess with her, too.", Jake said, making Finn groan incredulously.
"The Ice King is always stealing princesses. We're going in turbo time!", Finn urged as he then put on a sweater.
"You want your booties?", Finn asked.
"Yes, please.", Jake responded before he jumped in the air.
"Howop!", Jake shouted before the booties were thrown up into Jake's feet and he came down.
"Let's do it!", Jake said.
"What time is it?", Finn asked.
"Adventure Time!", Finn and Jake shouted at the same time whilst doing a fist bump.
The logo then appeared spinning around and stopped before a sword then wedged itself in-between letters of the word, "Time".
ADVENTURE TIME
Then, the duo, while carrying Mille and Callie, jumped into the Ice Kingdom, sliding down a massive hill of snow.
"Penguins!", Finn shouted before the four fell into a horde of wenking penguins and used them to skate down a mountain, but not without performing some tricks prior to landing.
"Mathematical!", Finn shouted as Mille and Callie cooed in laughter.
"That was totally math!", Jake added.
"Rhombus! Iceclops!", Finn shouted, just now noticing the Iceclops close by.
"Did somebody say my name?", the Iceclops asked, making Finn and Jake scream as they ran and jumped in a ditch.
"Whew! That was close, man!", Finn said.
"Oh, my goodness!", Jake concurred.
"How do we get past that Iceclops?", Mille asked.
"Yeah. He's as big as tonk!", Callie added.
As if to answer, Finn grabbed snow, turned it into snowballs, and tossed them over to Jake, who had to carry them.
"Oh, yeah. Snowballs.", Callie realized.
"Let's rock and roll!", Finn shouted as he and Jake prepared to charge into battle snowballs a'blazing.
The Iceclops roared as he spotted the two together.
"Ice to meet you!", Finn shouted before he threw snowballs at it.
"Hey, cut it out!", the Iceclops exclaimed.
"Nice shot, Finn!", Mille congratulated.
"Thanks, Mille. Snow Golem!", Finn shouted as he noticed said Snow Golem.
But the Snow Golem only made baby sounds. Regardless, much to Mille and Callie's shock, Finn threw some snowballs in its eyes, making it cry.
"Seriously, Finn? That's only a baby.", Callie scolded.
"Oooh, boy...", Finn said, inhaling sharply before then noticing a fire elemental nearby.
"Lava Man!", Finn shouted.
"But isn't he more like a fire man?", Mille asked.
"I'm lost. Can you direct me towards the sun?", the fire man asked.
"It's that way, dude.", Finn responded, pointing toward the sun.
"What? Oh, geez, duh! Thanks.", the fire man thanked.
"Snow problem!", Finn shouted before throwing some snowballs at him, making him moan.
"Oh, real nice! How old are you?", the fire man asked, annoyed.
"I'm 12 years old!", Finn replied.
"I'm actually 14 years old in a baby body.", Mille responded.
"24 for me.", Callie added.
"And I'm 28!", Jake added.
By the time they caught up, the Ice King cackled.
"Hey, Ice King!", Finn called before Jake stretched up toward the top window of the castle.
"Yes, Finn?", Ice King asked.
"Stop blasting at that rainicorn, you old bag! Or you're gonna get it!", Finn warned.
But Ice King grumbled and pointed the magnifying glass at them.
"You want some of this too? Huh? Eh.", Ice King said.
Suddenly, Jake shot colored spirits at Ice King with the wand, making him fall on his face and allowing Finn to fight the Ice King as Bonnie and Rachel snickered again, this time at what the wand did, all while the ant gets away.
"Huh. You're not so bad. For a loser!", Finn snarked, angering the Ice King into blasting him, although he missed and hit the wall and his chair respectively.
"Hey, could you guys be careful with that stuff?", Rachel asked.
As they watched Finn and Ice King battling with Mille in tow, Jake spoke with Lady, accompanied by Callie, held in a baby carrier.
"Hey, how's it goin'? My name's Jake.", Jake introduced to himself.
"And I'm Callie.", Callie added.
"안녕, 제이크. 저는 레이디 레이니콘이에요. 만나서 반가워요.", Lady greeted, saying, "Hello, Jake. I'm Lady Rainicorn. Nice to meet you." in Korean.
"Come on, Ice King. Why are you always stealing ladies?", Finn asked.
"Well, isn't it obvious? I'm gonna get one to marry me!", Ice King began, cackling excitedly. "I mean, come on. Think about it. We're both old enough. After all, she's basically an adult, I'm basically an adult? It all adds up."
"That's stupid.", Finn critiqued.
"Yeah. Almost as stupid as your 'try to kill a giant ant with a magnifying glass' plan.", Mille commented.
"Oh, yeah? Well, your hat is stupid!", Ice King shouted.
"My hat is awesome!", Finn argued before he jumpkicked him again.
"Where's Jake and Callie? They shouldn't be taking that long.", Mille puzzled.
Meanwhile, Jake was still speaking with Lady.
"Are you kidding? I play the viola too.", Jake said, amazed.
"내가 비올라로 연주하는 멋진 곡을 들어보셔야 해요.", Lady replied, saying in Korean, "You should hear some mad tunes I play on 'dat viola."
"You are crazy. You are so crazy.", Jake grinned.
Back inside, the Ice King now had ice lightning in his hands.
"I have you now, boy!", Ice King shouted before freezing Finn and cackling.
Unbeknownst to everyone else, Finn found himself on Mars with some aliens, especially a 4-headed alien, most notably, and a giant Abraham Lincoln himself.
"What's going on? Ab...Abraham Lincoln?", Finn puzzled in surprise.
"Finn, your mind has been transported back in time... and to Mars.", Abraham Lincoln responded.
"A little FYI there, he's the King of Mars.", one of the 4-headed alien's heads added.
"What?", Finn asked in surprise.
"It doesn't matter, but what does matter is you need to believe in yourself.", Abraham urged.
Meanwhile, Rachel turned to Princess Bubblegum.
"So, how long does it take before he busts himself out of there?", Rachel asked.
"In my experience, long enough.", Bonnie responded.
"So, what do you think, girls? Think Finn's face is funny when frozen like that?", Ice King asked.
Suddenly, as if to answer, Finn burst out of the ice.
"NEVER!", Finn shouted, breaking out of the ice.
"Aah! You broke out already?! But that's impossible! And I upped my game on those ice powers, too... Oh, well. Time to go!", Ice King shouted before grabbing Princess Bubblegum and carrying her out the window.
"Finn! Jake!", Bonnie shouted as Ice King flew out the window.
"Bonnie!", Lady shouted, flying off after her.
"Princess!", Finn and Mille shouted.
"He won't get far.", Callie assured.
"Let's go!", Jake added.
"Yeah!", Finn replied as he hopped on with the duo chasing after Ice King.
"Okay, now this one, I gotta see.", Rachel grinned, starting to float with her long white hair before flying out the window.
As she did so, Finn, Jake, Mille, Callie, and Lady Rainicorn went after Ice King and Princess Bubblegum. When they caught up, Finn jumped at them in slow motion and grabbed Princess Bubblegum.
"Huh?", Ice King puzzled.
They fell and Lady Rainicorn caught them, earning their cheers, not knowing that Rachel was watching with an impressed smile.
"Hm. So, that's what it's like to see these guys in action.", Rachel grinned.
"Ohhhhh! How dare they trifle with me! They can't possibly think they can win, can they?", Ice King asked incredulously.
"Hey, sloppy milkshake!", Jake called, puzzling the ice wizard.
"What?", Ice King puzzled.
"Why don't you pick on someone your own size?", Jake goaded.
"Fool! Your powers are no match for my magical crown!", Ice King discouraged.
Suddenly, Jake blasted the crown off his head with the wand.
"My powers! I guess your wand's more than a match for my magical crown.", Ice King said before falling down.
"Oooh, boy, here we go!", Rachel winced before flying over to Ice King and catching him before he could hit the ground.
"You've not seen the last of my wintery fangs! I'll cleave the warmth from your bones and stop still your beating...! heart...?", Ice King shouted before he felt something tug on his cloak from behind; it was Rachel.
"Whew. Thanks, Rae-Rae. It would've been a rough landing.", Ice King thanked.
"Yeah. Don't mention it.", Rachel responded.
Then, she turned to see Finn, Jake, and the others back on the ground.
"There you go, Princess. You are free.", Finn assured.
"Oh, thank you, brave knight.", Bonnie thanked, bending down to thank Finn.
"Oh, I'm not a knight. I'm a boy.", Finn explained.
"Well, then, thank you, brave boy.", Bonnie thanked again before she kissed Finn on the forehead and he blushed with a giggle.
"Whoa, what is going on?", Mille, Callie, and Jake asked in unison.
"Uh, nothing.", Finn replied before Princess Bubblegum giggled as Finn pushed Jake along.
"We got to go, okay, bye, Princess. Bye.", Finn said.
"Go where, dude? We don't have anything to do.", Jake asked.
"Heh, heh, yeah we do, buddy. Adventure awaits.", Finn responded.
"Oh, yeah. What about the wand? Didn't you wanna 'smash some stuff with this thing'?", Callie asked.
"Oh, yeah. But I don't see any adventures going on anywhere. Until we do get to have some fun with it again, I think we're good to just sit here for a while and just talk about our feelings.", Jake responded.
This made Finn nervous before he spotted something happening nearby.
"Heh, uh, look! Those ninjas are stealing that Old Man's diamonds!", Finn shouted, pointing to the scene.
At said scene, Ninjas were running off with an old man's diamonds.
"Give me back my diamonds!", the old man shouted.
"Later, Princess! I have to attend to this!", Finn urged as he turned to Bubblegum.
"Oh, wait. Hey, Lady. Before you two go, you wanna hang out at our tree house sometime?", Jake asked.
"Hmmmm. 예. 하지만 당신이 먼저 내 집에서 놀 경우에만. 여기서 멀지 않은 오래된 헛간에 있어요. 놓칠 수 없습니다.", Lady replied, saying to him in Korean, "Yes. But only if you hang out at my place first. It's at an old barn not far from here. Can't miss it."
"Oh. Well, I guess it's a date, then.", Jake grinned.
"Fair thee well, Finn and Jake.", Bubblegum waved before she and Lady flew off.
"Oh, wait! When can I see you again there?!", Jake shouted.
"내일 5시에 시작할 수 있어요!", Lady answered as she flew away, assuring in Korean, "We could start tomorrow at 5.
"Gotcha, Lady! 5 o'clock on the dot!", Jake shouted.
"Well, you're a lady's man, all right.", Callie said, chuckling while giving a sort of smug look.
"Wait, what?", Jake puzzled.
"Jake!", Finn spoke, turning to Jake.
"Oh, yeah. What time is it?", Jake asked.
"Adventure Time!", Finn and Jake shouted, running after the ninjas.
When they caught up, they blasted the ninjas with the wand, forcing the diamonds off their hands and onto the ground near the old man.
"My diamonds! Thank you, Finn and Jake!", the old man thanked as he left with his diamonds back in his possession.
"No prob, old dude!", Finn responded in assurance.
But suddenly, a blast came out of the wand and hit Finn in the face.
"Ow, Jake!", Finn groaned.
"Sorry, this thing's kinda got a mind of—", Jake began as the wand shook.
Before anyone knew it, the wand suddenly went wild and blasted out colored stuff, sending Jake back with recoil.
"Ah-haha!", Jake shouted in panic.
Rachel and Ice King looked on in respective worry and astonishment.
"Looks like somethin' crazy's going on.", Ice King guessed.
"Yeah, Dad. In more ways than one.", Rachel responded, flying over to the scene with her hair.
"Hey, where are ya goin'?", Ice King asked.
"Turn it off, Jake!", Finn urged.
But alas, Jake was unable to control it and thus, it continued to shoot out colored spirits. At one point, it was even sending a sort of purple sentient being shaped like a cloud with a star on it out of the wand. This is Lumpy Space Princess.
"Oh, my Glob, Melissa! I think it's kicking in!", LSP shouted before getting shot out of the wand.
Finn ran and screamed while grabbing Jake, causing him to drop the wand. It continued to wreak havoc.
"We've got to stop it!", Finn urged.
"What are we gonna do?", Jake asked.
"We have to defeat the wand fast.", Rachel spoke, attracting Finn and Jake's attention as she landed on the ground first. "And I think we might need to work together."
"Hey, wait. You were that princess with Bubblegum earlier.", Jake realized.
"I don't think we got your name.", Finn responded.
"Oh. That's right. I haven't told you my name. I am Ice Princess Rachel Petrikov. But you can just call me Rachel. Maybe even Rae-Rae. The point is, I may have Ice powers through my Tiara like my Dad does with his crown, but nowadays, it's kinda like I'm more of a mother to him than a daughter.", Rachel introduced.
"Hey...", Ice King groaned, having heard this from nearby as he caught up.
"Oh, so you're keeping an eye on him?", Mille asked.
"You could say that. But either way, he's famileeeeeowsers! Did you just talk?", Rachel asked.
"Well, yeah. With a thought translator.", Mille responded.
"Long story short, we've been cursed to turn into babies every time someone says a specific word that should NOT be mentioned near us.", Callie explained with her own thought translator.
"Woof. Might want to look into that later. But... going forward, the point is, maybe I could freeze the wand while it's distracted.", Rachel suggested.
This made Finn and Jake widen their eyes.
"Hey. That's actually not a bad idea.", Jake grinned.
"Yeah, that sounds math. Okay, Rachel. We'll keep it distracted, and you charge up enough ice magic to freeze the wand.", Finn said.
"On it.", Rachel said, flying up into the air.
"Hey, I want a piece of that action.", Ice King said, flying to the ground and running off.
"Hey, wand! I heard you pay a robot to rub your tummy for you!", Finn said, starting to dance with Jake.
The spirits paused and became angry as Rachel was doing hand signs while seeing what was going down below.
"You ready?!", Finn called, not knowing that Ice King appeared from behind, holding his cloak as the spirits receded back into the wand, and a really angry looking spirit started coming out.
"Ready.", Rachel responded.
"Now, Rachel!", Finn called.
"Icy Breath!", Rachel shouted, blasting her force of ice toward the wand.
Unfortunately, at the same time, Ice King ran towards the wand.
"Whoop! Whoop! Whoop! Whoo!", Ice King shouted, about to belly flop on the wand, only to get frozen along with the wand.
When Rachel caught up, Finn and Jake caught up to Rachel.
"Wow! That was awesome, dude!", Finn laughed.
"Yeah, Rae-Rae! Heh heh! That was amazing!
"Aw. Thanks.", Rachel grinned.
Just then, both Finn and Jake noticed the Ice King frozen with the wand, too.
"What the...? Ice King?!", Finn and Jake spoke in unison.
"Where?", Rachel puzzled before turning.
She was shocked to see Ice King frozen along with the wand.
"Ah! Dad?! Hold on. I'll get you out.", Rachel exclaimed.
Then, she began casting hand signs.
"Fridjitzu Master Rachel summons... the Blade of Crystallized Dimensions!", Rachel shouted, summoning said blue, crystalline sword.
With just one slash, the ice she made broke in half vertically and crumbled, allowing Ice King to land on the ground.
"I am so sorry. You okay, Dad?", Rachel asked.
Ice King groaned and lifted his face up, but it looked different. His beard was gone, he now had small wings on the side of his head, and his mouth was like a little beak, which let out tiny purple stars when he talked.
"Did I get it?", Ice King asked.
"Yeah, man.", Finn laughed.
"You got it.", Jake added before laughing, too.
"Aw, Dad...", Rachel giggled.
And thus was the start of a new friendship between the three heroes whose names are Finn, Jake, & Rachel.
