A/N: This chapter is where they explore the Land of the Dead. And this time, the reason for getting there is a bit more serious and high-stakes.
Adventure Time with Finn, Jake, & Rachel
Chapter 29: Death in Bloom
One day, Simon and Betty were hurriedly flying in a panic toward Finn, Jake, & Rachel's treehouse.
"Finn! Jake! Rachel!", Simon called before the trio turned and saw him and Betty flying over there in a hurry through a window.
"Mom? Dad?", Rachel asked.
She then turned to Finn and Jake.
"Guys, it's my parents. They look super stressed out.", Rachel said.
"Let's find out what this biz is about.", Finn suggested.
Finn, Jake, and Rachel came outside just as Simon and Betty landed.
"Finn, Jake, Rachel, we need your help!", Simon said in worry.
"What's wrong?", Rachel asked.
"It's your uncle, Brandon. He's in danger!", Betty responded.
"He's what?!", the trio shouted.
"But how?", Finn asked.
"Did he get hurt, or somethin'?", Jake asked.
"Worse. He got sick with the deadliest illness possible.", Betty explained.
"It'll be easier to explain when we return, and fast.", Simon urged.
"Okay, Dad. We'll come with you.", Rachel assured.
Moments later, the group of five were now at the Ice Kingdom where Brandon was groaning in his sick bed, appearing to be suffering an illness as he was sweating.
"What's happened to him?", Rachel asked.
"We found him just outside lying on his magic carpet as it brought him here.", Simon said.
"After we noticed how sick he was, we brought him back inside and asked Princess Bubblegum and Peppermint Butler to come here. Then, they found out what got him so sick.", Betty added.
"Somehow, he must've caught a disease so deadly that if not treated in time, no one who caught it can survive.", Bonnie explained.
"What?!", Rachel panicked. "I can't lose my uncle! Is there a way to treat him?!"
"There is a way to treat him."
"No, no, no, no, no! This can't be happening!", Rachel panicked before realizing what she just said. "Wait. You said that there is?"
"Yes. And that's the good news. But the bad news is, unfortunately, the only way to get it is to go to the Land of the Dead and speak with Death.", Bonnie responded.
"Excuse me, but did you say Land of the Dead?", Peppermint Butler asked.
"Yeah. Why?", Bonnie asked.
"I can take your friends.", Peppermint Butler offered.
"Really?", Rachel asked in surprise.
"Certainly, Rachel.", Peppermint Butler assured before walking into a corner of the room.
"For a small price. Which we can discuss later! Take my hands, gentlemen!"
Peppermint Butler raised his arms with Rachel taking Finn's right hand as he took Peppermint Butler's right hand with his left as Jake also took Peppermint Butler's left hand with his right.
"Stare into where the two walls meet. Now slowly, cross your eyes.", Peppermint Butler instructed before crossing his eyes. "Do it, fools!"
Finn, Jake, and Rachel all do so before the portal to the land of the dead opened and was glowing red with rocky terrain in the distance.
"The portal opens!", Peppermint Butler spoke.
"I'll try and delay the disease's hold on him for as long as I can on my end. Please be careful and hurry.", Bonnie urged.
"Okay.", Rachel urged before she, Finn, and Jake stepped into the portal.
"Say 'hi' to Death for me if you see him! He lives in a castle made of light!", Peppermint Butler called.
"Uh… okay.", Jake said.
"You got it!", Rachel added.
"Thanks, Peppermint Butler.", Finn thanked as he, Rachel, and Jake waved goodbye.
"And don't drink the-", Peppermint Butler began before the portal closed. "-water."
Meanwhile, in the Land of the Dead, the portal closed.
"Whoa man, who knew Peppermint Butler was so-", Jake began before clinging to Finn as they and Rachel screamed from seeing below them giant Death Eels fighting, a mountain side that is covered with spikes and flaming holes, hundreds of long pink organisms that have black flames emitting from the ends, a giant scorpion, bones, a television, giant bony fingers sticking out from some rocks, more Death Eel creatures, a purple claw sticks out from behind a rock, red demon-like hands reach out from rocks covered in eyes, giant earwigs, a skull of a demon, police cars and UFOs, and skeletons walking in a town.
"Whoa...! So, this is the Land of the Dead?!", Rachel asked in surprise.
"So… um… you two wanna…", Jake began, stretching out a kangaroo pouch. "hop in my paunch and I'll stretch us down?"
Finn and Rachel blushed at the idea.
"Uh... Why don't I just fly us down to that escalator?", Rachel suggested, pointing to an escalator beside them with skeletons descending down it.
Rachel picked the two up and flew down to the escalator in front of a skeleton with a knife in its skull.
"Hey, dude.", Finn greeted before the skeleton waved.
Finn pointed to the bottom of the escalator where a giant skeletal pterodactyl-like creature was guarding an entrance where there was a line of skeletons waiting to enter.
"That must be the main entrance or some biz!", Finn said.
"Yeah. Otherwise, there wouldn't be some kind of guard here.", Rachel added.
"Let's go!", Jake urged before Finn stood on Jake's back as the magic dog slid down the escalator before they jumped off.
"Holy schmow!", Finn said in surprise as he, Jake, and Rachel got in line behind a skeleton with a spear in its throat.
"Welcome to the Underworld.", the Gate Guardian greeted. "Cause of death?"
"Uh… Spear in the neck.", the Spear Skeleton replied.
"You may enter.", the Gate Guardian said.
Excited, the spear skeleton ran inside.
"Yay!"
Finn, Jake, and Rachel then walked up to the Gate Guardian.
"How did you die?"
"Uh…", Finn began nervously.
"Because we're awesome!", Finn and Jake said together, thinking of something to say, before they high-fived.
"Whoo! Ha ha! Ha ha!"
"And I'm actually immortal.", Rachel said.
Surprised, the Gate Guardian gasped before squinting to Rachel and the others.
"Hmm… Girl, why don't you stay put here while I talk with my higher-up?", the Gate Guardian asked.
"Uh..., okay.", Rachel said, shrugging.
"But the rest of you? Step out of line.", the Gate Guardian said, pointing to the side.
"Aw, dingle!", Finn groaned.
"Wait up, dude! Follow me, and do as I do.", Jake whispered as the Gate Guardian was preparing to call his "higher-up".
"But he asked me to stay here.", Rachel whispered.
"Well, suit yourself.", Jake whispered in response before he and Finn began to slowly side-step to the entrance.
But the Gate Guardian saw this and pointed to them.
"Hey! I said no!"
Finn and Jake stopped for a moment but then, they kept walking.
"Hey! Hey!"
Finn & Jake made it into the entrance.
"Ha ha, we're in! Come on, man!", Jake cheered before Finn laughed as the two friends made it through while the Gate Guardian peered into the entrance.
"Man…"
Just then, a voice spoke to the Gate Guardian, surprising him.
"Oh, uh, hi, boss! Listen. I, uh, got someone here who claims that she's... immortal. Where do you want me to send her?", the Gate Guardian asked.
Then, the voice mumbled to him as the Gate Guardian nodded.
"Mm-hmm. Yeah. Uh-huh. Oh, okay. Thanks. Talk to ya later.", the Gate Guardian said before hanging up.
"Okay, you can go in. But it's straight to Death's Castle for ya. He, uh, wants to have a word with ya.", the Gate Guardian said, allowing her to pass.
"Oh, cool. I'd like to have a few words of my own with him, anyway.", Rachel said before moving in through the entrance.
She caught up just as Finn & Jake ran to the bottom of a hill and high fived.
"Yes!", Finn and Jake said in unison.
"Hey, guys.", Rachel said.
"Huh? Rae-Rae? But I thought that...", Jake began.
"He said I could go. But we have to go to Death's Castle right away.", Rachel responded.
"Where do we find it?", Finn asked to Jake.
The magic dog then pointed to the top of a hill.
"Up there!"
The trio then climbed to the top and peered over.
"Oooooo!", Finn, Jake, and Rachel said in amazement as, behind a rocky terrain, a glowing-white castle was visible in the distance.
"Death's castle is pretty, dude.", Jake said.
"I know, right? Another reason to go there.", Rachel agreed.
"Let's go!", Finn said before he, Jake, and Rachel all jumped down and did a little battle cry.
From there, they began to walk before a skeleton popped out from behind a rock.
"Hey! Hey, what's up, fellas! Hi. Lester.", Lester greeted before grabbing Finn's arm. "Oh, man, flesh! I haven't seen this stuff in forever!"
He even caressed Finn's arm before shaking it up and down.
"So warm and gushy and softy! Look at all that flesh jigglin'!", Lester said eagerly, worrying Rachel.
"Hey! If you love flesh so much, then watch this!", Jake said before stretching so that he looks like he's melting onto the ground.
"Jake...", Rachel groaned in worry.
"WHOA! You don't know what you're doing to me, guy! Fellas get over here! Flesh!", Lester called.
With that, more skeletons came out from behind the terrain, rocks, and trees before walking over to Finn, Jake, and Rachel.
"This is weird, man.", Finn whispered to Jake.
"Yeah. They really love flesh...", Rachel added.
"Ah, don't worry. They just think we're cool.", Jake assured.
"Do they?", Rachel puzzled.
"Hmm… Do you guys think we're cool?", Finn asked.
"No. We're gonna rip that flesh off you! And eat it!", Lester said before Finn and Jake gasped.
"Ah, dingle...!", Rachel said.
With that, the skeletons walked towards them and they got into fighting positions.
"It's bone-kicking time!", Finn shouted.
"Hear, hear!", Rachel responded.
Finn then punched the heads off skeletons, especially Lester, but they got up and put them back on with Lester laughing. Then, the group of skeletons ran towards them and knocked Finn and Rachel down.
"Oh, shoot! Get-"
Finn tried to fight back with a bone as did Rachel with her sword, but the skeletons swarmed them and began to bite them.
"Jake! There's too many!", Finn shouted.
Jake coughed as the skeletons were biting him as well.
"They're tryin' to peel me!"
Having had enough, Jake stretched largely and knocked a bunch of skeletons off of him.
"I'm… not… a... BANANA!"
After Rachel exploded similarly and froze the skeletons, Jake grabbed Finn and ran away as Rachel flew over and followed them. Jake spotted what appeared to be a hole.
"Hole!"
Jake tried to put him in a hole, but it was no use.
"It's not a hole, Jake! It's just a divot!"
A new wave of skeletons were running around the corner as Jake hurriedly punched Finn into the ground to make the divot into a hole.
"Sorry!", Jake apologized before he jumped into the hole while Rachel flew into it and covered the hole with some rocks to be certain that no skeletons try to get them.
Fortunately, that worked as the skeletons ran by and did not notice the trio. Unfortunately, however, the hole they're in was a tight squeeze.
"Dude, shrink down!", Rachel whispered before Jake shrank, realizing his slight error.
"Oh! Sorry."
"I don't like the underworld too much.", Finn said.
"Yeah. Me, neither.", Rachel agreed.
"I don't know. Wouldn't be so bad if there weren't folks trying to eat our skin.", Jake said.
"I wonder how Brandon's doing right now.", Rachel said.
Meanwhile, in the Ice Kingdom, Brandon groaned loudly, in extreme pain.
"Hang on, Brandon. Rachel and the others will come back for you. I know it.", Bonnie urged before administering a formula to Brandon, who calmed down after drinking it.
"There. That should at least keep the disease from getting any worse.", Bonnie said.
Brandon sighed before resting.
"Oh, I hope they make it with that flower.", Betty said in worry.
"Me, too, Betty. I hope they make it, too...", Simon added.
Meanwhile, back in the Land of the Dead.
"Guys, I know that there are skeletons up there, but we can't just hide in this hole forever. Uncle Brandon is in trouble and we gotta help him.", Rachel urged.
"You're right.", Finn said.
So, Finn lifted up the rock and peered out.
"How's it going up there now?", Rachel asked.
"Coast is clear!", Finn replied.
Then, they came out from their hiding place.
"Halt!", a skeleton shouted, making Finn, Jake, and Rachel squeak as they froze in place.
"Eep!", Rachel squeaked.
"Hey!", a skeleton shouted, tapping another skeleton by the shoulder.
"Hey Halt! Why you got your eyes closed, Halt?", the skeleton asked.
"Huh?", Rachel puzzled, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm trying to picture in my mind's eye where the fleshies are hiding.", Halt responded.
"Ooh! You're a smart guy, Halt!", the skeleton said.
"Oookay...", Rachel said before she, Finn, and Jake snuck past and got to the bridge, panting.
Finn then grabbed Jake's arm.
"Wait, Jake! Do you hear somethin'?", Finn asked.
"Wait. I hear it, too. Come on!", Rachel whispered as she and the others crawled to the edge of the bridge and peeked over.
The first thing they saw was a group of skeletons murmuring.
"I didn't see them… They were here, and now they're gone!...", the skeletons said.
"Aw, great... More skeletons...", Rachel groaned.
"We've gotta be really, really quiet!", Finn whispered.
Unfortunately, Jake farted loudly, which echoed and caused everything to shake. This caught the skeletons' attention as they turned around and noticed them.
"Get em!", a skeleton shouted.
"Jake!", Rachel and Finn glared.
"I thought it would be funny!", Jake said in worry.
Suddenly, a large rock fell, and they both jumped out of the way as they screamed. The cave started to fall apart and parts of the ceiling fell down, crushing the pursuing skeletons. Finn, Jake, and Rachel ran across the bridge safely.
"Phew... We lost 'em. And look where we are now!", Rachel said in relief, pointing up ahead.
Finn saw where Rachel was pointing to.
"You're right! There's Death's castle!", Finn shouted as Death's castle gleamed before he looked around.
"I don't see anyone."
"I guess you either double-killed them with that avalanche, or just delayed them.", Rachel said to Jake.
"Heh, awesome!", Jake grinned.
"Now we just gotta cross that river!", Finn advised.
"River!", Jake grinned before he and the others walked down the stairs toward the river.
"Man, I'm so thirsty! My mouth's still all dusty!", Jake said.
"Yeah, mine, too...!", Rachel said eagerly before realizing something. "Wait a minute. How does the Dead World have water this good?"
But just then, a skull spoke up, making Finn and Rachel scream.
"Yes… Drink the water…"
Both Rachel and Finn realized that something was wrong.
"Uh..., on second thought, maybe I'm not that thirsty.", Rachel said.
"Whoa! Okay, Jake, don't drink the water!", Finn warned.
"Come one! I'm so thirsty!", Jake groaned.
"Dude! That skull wants you to drink the water! It's bad water!", Finn warned.
"If you take one sip of that, who knows what would happen?", Rachel added.
"Don't drink the water!", the skull said.
"Hey! You don't get to short-change what you said earlier!", Rachel scolded.
"See? That means good right?", Jake asked.
"Uh, I don't think that's how it...", Rachel began before Jake grabbed Rachel's arm.
"Come on, Rae-Rae. It's just water.", Jake said before he pushed Rachel into the water, making her yell out in surprise before she splashed in with Jake then cannon-balling into the river after her.
"Jake…?", Finn said in worry.
While Jake lifted his head out of the water and looked at Finn with an empty expression on his face, Rachel's head popped out with a similar expression.
"Jake? Rae-Rae? Why you guys makin' stupid faces?", Finn asked.
"Who's Jake? And come to think of it, who's Rae-Rae?", Jake puzzled.
"Dang it, I knew that water was junk!", Finn said in frustration.
"Tricked again by the River of Forgetfulness!", the skull spoke before Finn crushed it with his foot.
"Jake! Get Rae-Rae out of that water right now!", Finn shouted.
"Hey! I don't know who you are, mister, but I don't like your attitude!", Jake said, making Finn glare.
Suddenly, Finn and Jake heard Rachel screaming, worrying them. But it sounded younger than Finn thought as Rachel popped out of the water, now revealed to have been shrunken to the age she was when she first put on the tiara; 6-years old.
"Get me out of here!", Rachel shouted, running over to Finn for a moment before looking up and screaming and then balling up while whimpering.
"Hey, hey, hey. It's okay. Everything's gonna be fine.", Finn assured.
"How do you know? Who are you? And where am I...?!", young Rachel said sadly, still scared.
Finn didn't quite know exactly how to put it, so he felt it best to explain in a way that she, in her 6-year-old age would understand.
"Well, it may not seem like it, but... we're here on a magical land, looking for something to help your uncle. He's gotten sick and he hasn't exactly been getting any better. So, we're here to look for something that can help. Once we get that, we'll get to him right away. Your mommy and daddy are doing their best to keep his sickness stable so he doesn't get any worse. If we hurry, maybe we could see them as we get your uncle treated.", Finn said.
This brought hope to the young girl as she gasped.
"Really?", Rachel beamed.
"Yeah.", Finn grinned.
"Okay. Anything for my uncle to get better.", Rachel grinned.
"Cool.", Finn said before turning to Jake.
"You coming with us?", Finn asked.
"No. I still don't like your 'tude.", Jake glared.
The little girl gasped from hearing Jake talk as if it was for the first time as Finn glared.
"Is that a magic talking dog?!", Rachel beamed.
"Uh, yeah. That's right. But it looks like he could use some chilling out.", Finn said.
"Chilling out? Do you mean keeping it cool? Or using my ice powers?", Rachel asked, holding out her hands as she generated her ice powers.
"Wait, what...?!", Jake said in shock.
"Maybe the first thing?", Finn asked. "I could give you a piggyback ride the rest of the way if you like."
"Okay.", Rachel nodded.
Moments later, Finn dragged Jake all the way to Death's castle as Rachel had a piggyback ride with him.
"Help! Somebody help me! Stranger danger!", Jake shouted.
"Okay. We're here.", Finn said.
While Death was raking dirt into a line pattern in a room with giant skulls scattered around and the river of forgetfulness flowing through, Finn, Jake, and Rachel snuck behind a tree only for Jake to pop out, exposing himself.
"Hey! Hey! I see you!", Death said, spooking Rachel into hugging Finn's leg, making him blush.
"Jake, your head!", Finn whispered before Jake only popped out all the way anyway.
"Huh? Who are you?", Jake asked.
"Who are you?", Death asked.
"I don't know, man! Who are you?", Jake retorted.
"What do you mean? You're in my castle!", Death glared.
"Well, I didn't know!", Jake responded.
"Dang it, Jake.", Finn groaned.
"You must leave this place. Now!", Death urged, scaring Rachel even more before Finn popped out of the tree with Rachel in tow.
"Death! We're not leaving until you give us a flower that can cure Rae-Rae's sick uncle! And Rae-Rae and Jake's memories!", Finn said.
"Another one. Be gone, mortal!", Death glared.
"No! I promised Rachel!", Finn shouted before attempting to kick Death only to phase right through him and fall on the ground.
"Oof! Oww… What happened?", Finn groaned.
"You can't kick me because your brain is stupid!", Death said, turning to him.
"Your brain is stupid!", Finn retorted, making both Rachel and Jake giggle.
"Hehehehehehe, this kid's pretty funny!", Jake said.
"Hehehe!", Rachel giggled before Death sighed.
"Alright.", Death sighed before dropping his rake and walking over to the stage with a wall full of musical instruments.
"Whoa...", Rachel said in awe.
"Pick an instrument.", Death spoke to Finn.
"Huh?", Finn asked as Death sat down at a drum set with two base drums and a microphone. "To get stuff from me, you have to beat me in a musical battle."
"But Jake's the musical one! And he's got poo brain!", Finn said in worry as Jake made a popping noise with his mouth.
"I don't care.", Death said coldly.
"You can do it! You can beat that jerk!", Rachel said confidently. "Also, what's your name?!"
"My name is Finn.", Finn responded.
"Oh. You can do this, Finn!", Rachel called.
"Thank you!", Finn called in response. "I gotta find what I can really play!"
Finn then took a look at the wall.
"Oh glob, man!", Finn panicked, breathing heavily. But then, he noticed something fairly easy to play.
"Oh! Here we go!"
He picked up the sleigh bells from the instrument wall.
"Sleigh bells! YA WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!", Finn shouted, spinning them and making Rachel giggle.
"So the contest begins.", Death spoke.
Death began to kick base drums and scream death metal while Finn jingled sleigh bells. Death continued to scream while he detached his feet, which continued to play the drums. Finn screamed and jumped on the sleigh bells as Death slid on his knees across the stage. Finn even rolled around on the stage, making Rachel beam brightly, while Death continued to scream death metal as fireworks explode above him, smoke rose into the shape of a skull, fire burned around him and an electric guitar played in the background. They both finished and Death had black smoke coming off of him.
"Hey, alright, so... who do you think won?", Death asked.
"Finn won. I love how happy he was playing those sleigh bells.", Rachel beamed.
"Aw.", Finn grinned.
"And you, magic dog. Who do you think won?", Jake asked.
"Oh, man! Skeleton guy by a landslide! He was like 'Rughhh,' he was like...", Death said before making an exploding noise.
"Dude!", Finn exclaimed.
"What? Skeleton guy was awesome! You want me to lie?", Jake asked.
"Yes!", Finn exclaimed, throwing his sleigh bells away.
"So, it's come to a tie, huh? I know the way to break this tie.", Death said before summoning a servant.
"Tell me. Who do you think won this contest?", Death asked.
"You, of course.", the servant said.
Rachel gasped in horror.
"Aw, dingle...", Finn groaned.
Death then pointed at Finn and encased him in a transparent box with pink outlines as he spoke.
"I'm going to kill you now."
"No! I still have to rescue stuff!", Finn pleaded.
Death did not care as he walked towards Finn with red eyes.
"Those are the rules in the Land of the Dead. Lose a music battle, lose your life.", Death said as his eyes began to flame up, worrying Rachel, who covered her eyes with a whimper.
"Oh wait, wait, wait! Before I die, I'm honor-bound to tell you... Peppermint Butler says hi.", Finn said sadly.
Surprisingly, from hearing this, Death released Finn in surprise.
"What? You know Peppermint Butler?!", Death exclaimed.
"Yeah!", Finn said.
"Heh heh heh! Yo, you guys can have whatever you want!", Death assured.
"You mean I can get a cure for my uncle?", Rachel asked.
Upon seeing her, Death was quite surprised to see her as his eyes were widened.
"Uh..., yeah. You can have this one.", Death said, handing her the flower needed. "Your parents'll know how to use it for your uncle when you get back."
Rachel even hugged Death as well after accepting the cure.
"I like you.", Rachel grinned.
"Uh..., thanks.", Death blushed before turning to Jake as he cleared his throat.
"Anyway, Jake, stand up!"
"That's me, right?", Jake asked, standing up.
"Yes.", Death said as he went very close to Jake's face.
"What're you doin'?", Jake asked before Death kissed Jake.
He lifted his right leg as Rachel gasped a bit in surprise before Jake let go from Death, feeling disgusted.
"What're you doing?!"
"Kiss of death, baby. You got your memory back.", Death said.
"Awh, gross! I wish I didn't!", Jake responded.
"But what about Rachel's memory. Is she gonna get it back or what?", Finn asked.
"Oh, she will. In fact, she'll be back to normal when she gets back to the living world with you two.", Death explained.
"Ohhhhh.", Finn said.
"I'll see you dudes later.", Death said before he shot red beams out of his eyes at Finn, Jake, and Rachel, teleporting them back to Ooo.
Once they're gone, Death became quite puzzled.
"That girl with the tiarra...", Death began to himself. "How is this possible...?"
When they got back, Rachel did indeed grow back to her normal age and retain all her memories.
"Huh? What happened? Where are we? Did we get what we need?", Rachel asked.
"Take a good look, Rae-Rae.", Finn said, gesturing to the flower she's holding before Rachel looked down and saw it.
"Whoa...! This is rad!", Rachel grinned. "Now, we can cure my uncle in no time!"
At the Ice Kingdom, Bonnie spoke to Simon and Betty.
"Did he tell you how he got sick in the first place?", Bonnie asked.
"No. He wouldn't even tell us where he's been.", Betty explained.
"But he did say that he was exploring the world one day when he came across some kind of weird green goop.", Simon added. "Probably the same stuff I saw once from those mutants almost 1,000 years ago."
"Weird green goop... Hmm...", Bonnie said in puzzlement.
Fortunately, Finn, Jake, and Rachel arrived at the castle and caught up to Princess Bubblegum, Simon, and Betty, who were waiting for them.
"Mom, Dad, we're back!", Rachel shouted.
"And we brought the cure!", Jake added, carrying the plant.
"Yay!", Bubblegum said before feeding Brandon one of the three flowers. With that, Brandon widened his eyes and sat up as if he could move again, surprising everyone.
"I... I think I'm cured...! I'm cured!", Brandon said excitedly before laughing.
"Oh, Uncle Brandon! I'm so glad you're all right!", Rachel grinned as she, Bonnie, Simon, and Betty hugged him, especially Finn and Jake.
"Yay, hugs!", Finn and Jake said in unison.
Peppermint Butler then whispered to them.
"Ahem. Mr. Finn, Mr. Jake, Ms. Rachel, I believe you still owe me something in exchange for that favor I did.", Peppermint Butler said.
"Sure!", Finn agreed.
"Yeah, what is it?", Jake asked.
"Don't keep us in suspense.", Rachel added.
"I'd like your flesh.", Peppermint Butler said.
"Wait, what?", Rachel asked in worry as Jake and Finn laughed.
"Quit bein' silly, Peppermint Butler!", Jake spoke.
But Peppermint Butler's pupils then turned yellow and the area around his eyes turned black.
"I'm going to take it from you while you sleep."
Finn, Jake, and Rachel immediately get confused and creeped out at the same time.
