Forget everything for a moment! HOW did I not know about this show! It's great! It's one of the most fun shows that I have watched, and you're telling me I never watched it as a kid! How! Wait, when did it come out? 2001…Oh…oh I wasn't even born yet. That explains it…*cough*...Sorry about that. Right, to the explanation. This is the second time I've learned about both a show and a ship by just watching one video. And then liking what I saw. Technically I did already know about the show and watched the Netflix movie, but beyond that, I never gave it that much thought. Oh yeah, this is a shipping story, with some slow burn thrown in there. While I know some people might have problems with particularly ship, and to those people, I respect your opinion, and therefore you have been warned. I'm not trying to trick you into reading this. Okay? Are we good? Good. Well, that's enough dillydallying. Onward to the story!
P.S: So, I should also explain that the characters are of course not going to be completely faithful, as there need to be some changes for this ship to even work. Just try not to think too much about it.
"You will never defeat me, Dib-stink!" A peculiar voice screamed out into the darkness, in the middle of a powerplant, conveniently devoid of any human life. A common occurrence, as the eyes of humanity all seem to look away whenever Zim does anything even remotely evil. Well, all except one. One brave, and slightly unhinged, human has kept his diligent eye solely on Zim for years now. Years upon years of years and even more years. Well, actually it was only six, but at this point, it might as well have been a lifetime.
"And I will never let you win, Zim!" Another voice screamed into the dark, this one much more human by comparison. The owner of the voice stalked around the empty powerplant, hiding in the shadows. He was holding his breath between taunts while looking out for four metal legs, and two red magenta eyes, searching around the dark. Dib had spent years hiding, and spying on this particular alien, so he wasn't going to get caught so easily.
Each moment of dampening silence was followed by Zim's shrieking voice, slinging insult at his arch-enemy, who returned the favor. Both of them used it as an opportunity to learn the location of the other, but they also thought the other was too stupid to notice. It was like a game of cat and mouse. They just always believed the other to be the mouse.
"You can't hide forever! You hear me earth-worm?! You can't hide from ZIM!" The alien screamed into the sky, as dramatically as possible. Dib was by chance close at that moment and decided to use the opportunity that Zim had been so gracious to grant him, and snuck out from his hiding place. With long but light steps, he moved to pounce on Zim from behind. If he could just move quick enough then he could reach him.
But unfortunately, Zim had been alarmed by the silence that followed his declaration of superiority and knew something was wrong. Just as Dib jumped into the air to grab onto his
back, Zim's antennas had made a small twitch, and he turned around with inhuman speed, swinging a metal leg at the human boy. Dib could only manage the beginning of a shocked gasp before he was hit in the right side by the robot leg, making him fly directly into an electrical control box, which had been left open.
The switches were broken to bits, and all the buttons were smashed stuck. After making an impact, Dib was stuck to the box for a short moment, before sliding down to the ground. He took a deep breath, as the air in his lungs had just been violently forced out. He blinked a few times, trying to regain his focus. He placed a worried hand on his side and winced at the pain.
Yep, I'm definitely going to feel that tomorrow. And I'm definitely going to give Zim a black eye for this.
With a defiant grin, he looked up at the figure being held in the air a few meters in front of him and tried standing up. But just as he started to move, the sound of electricity shot out from all around them. Either by bad engineering or just pure convenience, it seemed that Dib hitting the box had turned back on the power, and therefore the lights. For a moment everything was pure white. Then the light started to fade and revealed the Irken invader in all his glory, standing on his PAK legs, and Dib still sitting on the ground. In the middle of the powerplant, an alien machine also stood, towering over the conduits. It was filled with purple cables that stretched throughout the plant, seemingly sucking up all the power it could.
Dib finally stood up with the same grin, and Zim was staring him down with a wicked smile.
"Did you really think that such clumsy sneak attack could harm ME! HAH! You're stupider than I thought, Dib."
"Well, maybe I wouldn't even have had the chance if you had just decided to shut your loud mouth, space-boy!" Dob stood still, even as Zim moved closer, with an irritated expression on his face.
"SILENCE!" Zim commanded at Dib, pointing his sharp claw at the human.
"You may have turned on the lights, but soon enough my machine will have sucked all the electricity, not just from this laughable excuse for an energy plant, but from this whole filthy city! Then not a single stupid human will be able to do anything before it's too late!" He proclaimed, cackling from his genius plan.
Dib took the chance to step forward, and with determination in his eyes, he pointed his own finger at the alien, his black trench coat swaying in the wind like a cape.
"And what is it you're going to do?!" Dib asked, feeling his guts twisting by just the thoughts of what evil and monstrous things Zim would do, with no one in the city able to contact the outside world, or even report Zim if he was to reveal himself. He had to stop him, or else this would end up being the perfect situation for Zim to truly begin his conquest of the Earth. But he would never allow this to happen. He will have to stand alone, but he had done so many times before. This time was no different. He will stop Zim. He just had to learn what dastardly scheme the alien had planned.
"Uuuuhhhmmmmm…"
Zim stood still, seemingly trying to remember his genius plan. Meanwhile, Dib was continuing to hold his arm in the air. He was hoping that Zim would soon spill every intricate detail of his plan, but that hope was quickly extinguished, as he started hitting himself on the head, muttering something about 'Have to remember…' and 'How could I forget!..' and also 'I could never forget! I'm Zim! I just have to…' while completely ignoring Dib's existence. Who was starting to feel rather hurt by all this. He comes out in the middle of the night just to try and stop one of Zim's evil plans, and then he goes and forgets it. Dib feels all of his bravado and determination slowly drip away, his arm lowering with each second of Zim's agitated muttering until it was by his side again. He was now standing, slumped over, with a dismayed look all over his face turned towards Zim, who was now hitting his head with both hands.
"...You…forgot?!" Dib asked, saying the last word with as much contempt he possibly could. This seemed to reach Zim, as he finally looked back at his enemy, and looked around nervously, trying to find a way to save face.
"I…I…Of course, I didn't! Zim never forgets any of his master plans, and especially not in front of the Dib-thing! I just decided to not…remember…it…right now…" Zim looked at Dib with narrowed eyes, scanning the human's expression, trying to see if his deception had worked. All he got back was a look of second-hand embarrassment.
"...Seriously?" Dib muttered, feeling a wave of exhaustion roll over him.
"I SAID SILENCE!" Zim commanded again, his voice shrieking with anger, upon realizing that the Dib had lost his enthusiasm for their fight. He pointed his claw once again, this time his arm shaking from the intensity, and with a rabid expression on his face. Dib looked at Zim, and through years of dealing with him, was able to conclude that this was the alien's equivalent of a hissy fit. One which would become much worse if he didn't start playing along. So with a heavy sigh, he resumed his heroic position and antagonized Zim once again.
"It doesn't matter what your plan is, alien scum! For I, Dib Membrane will stop you once again!"
"Hah! Fool! You may have escaped before, but I promise you this time earth-worm, you WILL MEET YOUR DOOOOO-" Zim's overly long 'doom' was cut off when the sound of a phone ringing tore through their conversation. When the sound persisted, they both stared at each other with equally blank faces. Upon realizing that his pocket rumbling was in sync with the sound, Dib took his phone out and looks at it with embarrassment. He then looks up at Zim with an apologetic look.
"Is it okay if I take this?"
"Yeah sure, but be quick about it!" Zim waved his hand dismissively.
Dib made a quick sound, that could be interpreted as a 'thank you', before answering and turning away from Zim.
"Yes, this is Agent Mothman?"
What followed was a few minutes worth of conversation, with Dib arguing about how he was in the middle of something, and that if it couldn't wait to tomorrow. By the time the conversation finally reached its end, Zim was standing with crossed arms and his antennas were down. Dib put the phone back in his pocket and sighed once again. He knew Zim wasn't going to let this slide so easily.
"I'm sorry, but I just got an important assignment from the Swollen Eyeballs, which I have to complete tonight, so I need to go-"
"WHAT?!"
Zim's antennas went straight in the air, and his robot legs went back inside his PAK, and he now stood on his own two legs. He took a few aggressive steps forward until he stood right in front of Dib.
"What stupid 'important-" Zim said while making sarcastic gestures with his hands, "-assignment' is MORE important than ZIM!" He continued, finding the whole situation utterly ridiculous. Dib wanted to bang his head against something. He didn't want to have this conversation. He was already tired, and now he had to figure out a way to convince Zim to let him go.
"I know, but, I really need to get this assignment done, or else I'm going to get my membership benefits cut. And you know how much I love that bigfoot cup I was sent a month ago!"
"It is an exquisite beverage holder." Zim agreed, nodding while thinking back at the cup. He then froze and shook his head, probably realizing that he was being persuaded.
"But that doesn't change that I'm about to destroy this pathetic excuse of a city by doing…doing…something, it doesn't matter! What matters…IS ZIM!" Zim proclaimed as if he was the most important thing in the universe. Dib looked around with his hand on his chin, trying to think of something to persuade Zim. He was so sure that the cup would have been enough. Especially after Zim had stolen his first own, and had been using it ever since. He had to come up with something because he wasn't going to be able to wear the alien down. Especially not with pity. Maybe if he begged, but he would rather give up his whole life's work, than do that. Then he came up with something so obvious, he cursed himself for not starting with that first.
"Well, what if you just move your plan to tomorrow?"
"And WHY, Dib-stink, would I ever do that?" Zim asked with a demeaning tone, squinting his eyes at Dib. Dib made a sound in his throat, completely made out of pure constraint, as he forced the next words out of his mouth.
"Uuugghhh…Because tomorrow you could-"
I can't believe I'm saying this. He thought to himself while rolling his eyes.
"-DECIDE to remember your plan." A short moment of silence followed before a mischievous grin spread across Zim's face. He preferred the idea of managing to deceive The Dib, so much so, he completely ignored how clear it was that the human had faked his words. But Zim was conflicted between letting the human leave to do his stupid assignments or having to try and remember his plan while Dib watched.
"*Irritated muttering*...FINE-" Zim said, waving his arm dramatically like a king accepting a request. "-…The almighty Zim allows you to escape once again, Dib-worm. But I won't wait for you to arrive tomorrow! Clear!"
"Deal!" Dib then quickly started running off, before the alien could be allowed to change his answer. He took one look back behind, before exiting the power plant. There he saw Zim, standing in the same spot, looking…disappointed? No, that couldn't be it. Besides, he could barely see his face anyway. So he continued on his way back home.
It was times such as these, that he thought about what his young self would think of him right now. He would think that he had finally turned crazy after all. The same Dib a few years back would never be a hundred percent sure Zim would keep a promise, and definitely wouldn't have trusted him to not try and take over the world, while he knew Dib wouldn't be there to stop him. Both those assumptions were also completely justified, as this whole 'trusting Zim to not take over the world for a single moment' came with a change to Zim himself. However unlikely that seemed, even now. He couldn't exactly pinpoint when it started, but he would guess it was about the time they started hi skool. Dib had at the time finally managed to get a growth spurt, and reached the height of six feet. He wasn't quite as tall as his father, but he was sure that would come with age.
Then there was Zim. Zim didn't grow taller for years, even when they started hi skool. Then one day he waltzed in and had apparently grown nearly two feet. Dib had asked if no one thought it was strange, but Zim just said he experienced a quick growing cycle, and not a single person questioned it. Sometimes Dib doesn't know whether he hates this planet, or this planet hates him. But one thing was sure about the height situation. He must NEVER bring up the height difference between them, specifically the part about him being taller than Zim. He tried once, and Zim made sure he remembered. He had told him if he ever brought it up again, Dib should just look at all his new scars, and remember Zim would cut off his legs next time. Even after all those years, that idiot still managed to terrify Dib sometimes.
But it was by that time, that something started to change. It wasn't obvious at first but it soon became apparent to Dib that their whole rivalry and their fighting was starting to become…less intense. As if they had wandered into a routine, of which they couldn't break, mostly because it would mean either Dib had to let Zim take over the Earth, or Zim abandoning his mission, both of which were equally improbable. So they had no choice but to continue. But it did mean that they could start enjoying their fights, rather than constantly fearing what would happen if the other won. Luckily for Earth, Dib won most of the time. Or…at least Zim's plan didn't always completely succeed. Whether that was by his, or even Zim's hand, Dib counted as a win for Earth. It also meant that their once genuine insults had partially turned into a form of banter. Something casual, less reeking in animosity.
He had also stopped being afraid of dying every time he had to confront Zim. A fear that came when Dib finally started realizing the sheer danger that Zim was to him. Something that happened alarmingly later, than Dib would have liked. But now, he was better able to calculate whenever Zim was being serious, or just playing with him. That was what all of this had turned into. Playing. A game, that neither of them could finish.
Zim opened the door to his base while carrying his machine from the power plant, now folded down into something that he could carry on his own. He violently closed the door with his leg and walked towards the couch while muttering something under his breath, with a frustrated expression on his face. Gir was in the meantime sitting on the couch, still in his disguise. He was watching the creepy monkey show, randomly making a burst of screeching laughter, or violent sobbing, before turning back to normal.
When Zim reached the couch, Gir looked at him as if only now realizing he was present.
"HHHHHEEEEYYYY MASTER! I'm watching my favorite show." He said, directing Zim's attention to the tv screen, with the dead eyes of the monkey starring back at him, as if looking into his very being, prying out every secret in his soul.
"Wanna watch with me?" Gir innocently asked.
"...No Gir, I would rather not." He replied, with clear exasperation. When Gir just continued to watch the tv, Zim turned around and threw the machine away with a grunt, completely unfazed by the sounds of destruction that followed in its wake. He then started pacing back and forth across the room, occasionally blocking Gir's view, who made an alarmed yelp every time.
"This cannot stand! Not only did I forget my master plan in front of The Dib, he then convinced me to let him escape, and even move Zim's schedule! NO ONE MOVES ZIM'S SCHEDULE, ONLY ZIM CAN DO THAT!" He yelled to no one in particular. But his frustration was very clear. With a heavy sigh, he let himself fall into the couch, put his arm on the armrest, and let his head be held up by his hand. He sat there for a moment, starring into a wall.
"I have to think of something to punish that insolent human with, or else he's going to start believing he can order Zim around like a pet. But I need to concentrate all my amazing brain power on remembering my amazing plan, so it needs to be something easy. And lazy…Yes…that's just what that earth-filth deserves! Something so incredibly stupid, that it could even compare to his giant malformed head!"
Zim then started cackling, imagining Dib laying on the ground crying, while he stood over him laughing. Imagining the sounds that the Dib would make, made Zim laugh even harder until he had to wipe away a single tear.
"Aaahhh yes, that would be perfect. Now! I just have to come up with something ssooooo stupid that Dib will break down in minutes! But how could I Zim, the genius I am, come up with something that's in any way remotely stupid?"
"Oh-oh! I have an idea!" Gir chimed in, waving his arms so fast that a nearby fly was turned into paste.
"I-have-an-idea-I-have-an-idea-I-have-an-idea-I-have-an-Idea-I-have-"
"YES GIR, I heard you the first time! Fine, you can tell."
With a gleeful smile, Gir stood up on the couch, walked over to Zim, and whispered his idea to him.
After five minutes of whispering, Gir moved back and awaited an answer with a smile on his face. Zim looked on the ground while nodding thoughtfully, analyzing what Gir had just said. After a few moments of consideration, he looked over to Gir, with a serious expression on his face.
"That was a terrible idea Gir. The worst idea you have ever come up with, and later I'm going to remove it from my memory so that I never have to think about it ever again."
"Oh…thank you," Gir replied, waving an arm as if he had just been complimented. He then walked back to his seat on the couch and continued watching his show. Zim let out another sigh and stood up.
"I'm going to the lab, Gir. I'm feeling the need for some time alone with my genius." He said, feeling tired about the whole situation. But as he started walking towards the toilet, he suddenly stopped in his steps. His antennas twitched, and he lighted up.
"Alone?..Yes. Yes, that's perfect! This will undoubtedly drive The Dib completely insane! YOU HEAR THAT, DIB STINK?! YOU WILL SOON BE BEGGING FOR ZIM'S MERCY! HAHAHA HAHAHA!" He continued laughing maniacally, with Gir joining him with his laughter, from the room over. Zim believed this would be more than appropriate for the human's insolence. He won't be able to hide from Zim tomorrow.
"Not that I care…But, just to be sure. You asked Zim to let you go, and he just…agreed?" Gaz asked while chewing on a piece of toast. In front of her, sat Dib, also eating a piece. It was a year or two ago, that their dad had forced them all to start eating together more often. It was something about strengthening the family bond. The only problem, besides Gaz and Dib having to eat together nearly every day, was that their dad always had to go to work every time they sat down in the morning. At first, they would use the opportunity to return to their rooms right after he had left, but over time, they had just gotten used to eating together. Not that they had completely turned soft on each other, but their relationship was still better than it had used to be. Mostly considering that there was an actual relationship at the moment.
It hadn't been easy. Dib had to learn to stop taking the last piece of every meal they were eating, and Gaz had to learn to actually care about Dib. He still thinks that it wasn't too much to ask from his own sister, but he didn't want to try his already terrible luck at trying to explain that to her.
As if ignoring her, Dib placed a hand on his right side and flinched from the pain. He then noticed that she was staring at him, and he suddenly remembered her question.
"*Chewing* Uhm? Oh, yeah. It wasn't easy though. I really thought that the cup argument would work-"
"What is it with you and that damned cup?" Gaz whispered to herself.
"-but it didn't work, so I had to try something else. It was then, that I managed to make him move his plan to tomorrow. I have to say, I'm pretty good at this whole negotiating with aliens 'thing'. Maybe I should try and be elected as the official spokesperson for humanity when other aliens show up."
Dib looked down on his toast and continued eating as before. Gaz on the other hand, looked curiously at Dib as if what she had just been told had been completely incomprehensible. Dib didn't mind it at first, but as she kept watching him he was starting to get uncomfortable. He finally looked at her, and she did nothing to hide her expression.
"What?" Dib said, sounding more like a plead than a question.
"He's still doing that?"
"Doing what?" Dib asked confused, with a small shiver running down his spine as if he already knew where the conversation was going.
"You know, the whole 'taking over the earth for my alien leaders!' thing? That thing?"
After Gaz had been forced to care about what went on with Dib's life, he had started opening more up about what he knew about Zim, and would sometimes explain what had happened, when the two of them had ended up in a fight. Gaz didn't want to know anything about the whole situation, but in a moment of surprise, she had admitted she would rather hear Dib talking about Zim than hear him babbling on about his paranormal investigations. Dib had felt rather miffed after learning that, but he took what he could get. He also didn't want to admit it, but it felt nice to talk about Zim to someone he knew believed him. The only downside being, what was happening right now.
"Of course he is! Why would I else go out every week and stop him, if it isn't because he's still trying to take over the planet?"
"And you're still stopping him?"
"Naturally!-" Dib exclaimed, already feeling a pressure being built up inside him. The kind that came whenever he was questioned about why he was bothering Zim.
"-I can't just leave him alone so that he can enslave all of mankind! Or would you suggest I just abandon all of my work meant for stopping Zim, and simply let him destroy our world as we know it?!"
Gaz stared at Dib with an emotionless expression, as she picked up her glass of orange juice and slowly started drinking it while maintaining eye contact with Dib. With each loud gulp, Dib grew more and more annoyed. He didn't know whether she meant to annoy him, but it sure felt like it. When she made the last gulp, she gently placed the glass back on the table.
"Yea."
"Wa-what-wh-why-how-HOW COULD THAT POSSIBLE BE A GOOD IDEA?!" Dib yelled at Gaz while leaning over the table.
"Come on, you know why."
Now it was Dib's turn to look at someone like they were completely deranged. Something he usually was at the other end of.
"No, Gaz. I don't know." He explained, trying to sound as rational as possible. But panic had crept into his voice.
Gaz pushed her eyebrows closer together, and her once neutral tone suddenly turned very serious.
"We both know if you were to stop running around after Zim, he would get bored out of his mind, and then he would just sit in his house all day."
She then leaned back in her chair, and her serious demeanor disappeared, replaced by her characteristic uncaring attitude.
"After all, that's what you two have in common. You're both egoistic as all hell."
Dib started clenching his fist and glared at Gaz, who looked rather content with herself. He felt his jaw clenching, doing his best to hold in his response. In the end, he let out a frustrated sigh and decided to let it go. He wasn't going to give her the satisfaction. Besides, if there was someone who could break down his whole world, then it was Gaz.
"Really? That's what you think? That as soon as I stop giving him attention, he just gives it all up?"
"Sure. It's not like it hasn't happened before." She replied as if it were a matter of fact, rather than speculation.
Dib couldn't deny it either. There had been many instances, too many for Dib's liking, where he couldn't be there to witness Zim's crimes. Be it a family vacation, or some kind of event he had to attend, Dib would always end up worrying about what Zim would be up to. But whenever he would return, he would just find the alien doing seemingly nothing at all, and then Zim would get angry at Dib and complain about how long he had been gone. Even when he already had schemes planned, he would throw them out if Dib couldn't be there to try and stop him, or even if he just wasn't able to see them. It was something that had become more prevalent in the later years of their feud, and Dib had considered the possibility, that Zim would just stop his world domination altogether if he wasn't there to try and stop it. In the end, he was the only one who cared about what Zim was doing.
"Maybe. But that doesn't mean he's just going to stop completely. Besides, he would probably just find someone else, if he really cared that much about it. He's still trying to kill me, you know? He isn't exactly trying to keep me alive so he has some reason to continue his conquest for the Earth."
"Oh stop whining, will you? If he wanted to kill, he would have done so already."
Dib scoffed and crossed his arms while looking away from Gaz.
"As if."
He riposted the remark, as if they were talking about normal teenage stuff, and not a murderous, insane alien. This time, it was Gaz's turn to lean forward.
"He definitely could." She threatened, with cold eyes and words as sharp as knives. Even Dib who had ample amounts of experience when it came to threats of bodily harm, couldn't help but shudder at her words.
"I thought you said he was completely incompetent?"
While Gaz had returned to her normal self, his accusation seemed to bear no weight.
"He is. But he's more prone to being stupid when he deals with you."
Dib felt a slight shock and raised his eyebrow.
"What does it have to do with me?!"
While they had been talking about him and Zim, it could be boiled down to Zim taking any attention he could get, with Dib just happening to be the one to give it to him. But what Gaz implied, was that Dib was having some kind of effect on Zim. He would like to think she meant fear, but he knew she was suggesting something more 'friendly' than that.
"Jesus Christ Dib, stop acting like you aren't friends already. No matter how weird you two are." She said, with loathing clear in her voice.
Dib couldn't say anything back. He was completely dumbfounded. He could she even suggest such a thing when Zim has been trying to kill him for years, and Dib has tried to expose him for just as long. The two of them were many things, but friends were not one of them. Even frenemies would be too friendly of a term to describe what was between them. Zim was the evil alien villain trying to take over the world, and Dib was the lonely, self-sacrificing hero trying to stop him, and then show the whole world that he was right, and always had been. That's how it has been, how it still is, and how it still will be, and there wasn't anything more to it than that. Nothing.
Dib was finally able to escape all the thoughts running through his head when Gaz continued marketing that ridiculous idea.
"Also, stop using words like 'rival' and 'arch nemesis' when describing you and Zim. It doesn't make you sound cool. Why can't you just admit you're a pair of freak buddies?"
Just as Dib was about to continue their discussion, the sound of the doorbell could be heard ringing through the house. As Gaz looked towards the direction of the front door, Dib took the opportunity to check the clock.
"Would you look at that Gaz, it seems I need to go." His words were filled with a sense of victory, as if walking away from Gaz had made him the victor of their debate. He stood up from the chair and grabbed his backpack.
"It was fun listening to your little speculations, but some of us need to face reality."
Just as the words left this mouth, he could feel his sister's piercing eyes drilling into his neck. But he was so happy from finally ending that silly discussion, that he didn't mind.
"Who knows, you might be able to make me agree with time. But good luck convincing Zim." He continued, now with a taunting tone. He walked away from the kitchen and walked towards the front door. The doorbell was still ringing. He grabbed the handle, but just as he was about to open it, he felt the need to leave with one last comment.
"Think whatever you like, Gaz. But the only thing that Zim will ever be to me, is an enemy. One I need to defeat eventually. I still don't know how you could think we are anything more than that. And, if we really were friends, then wouldn't we be walking to skool together?"
Dib turned his attention back to the door and opened it nonchalantly and looked at the person standing before him.
"Hello, Dib-stink. The almighty Zim will be accompanying you to skool today. As your future overlord, I order you to not resist."
Hello again. Hope you enjoyed that. Could barely feel the simmer this chapter. I don't know if you can tell, but I'm going down the 'enemies to friends to lovers' route, so this isn't a one-and-done type of deal. But I'm also not one to enjoy reading 200.000 words before anything remotely romantic happens, so I'm counting on not dying before reaching that part. Seriously though, I hope you enjoyed this beginning chapter. I can't promise a consistent word count, so please don't immediately take this as the standard. I would also appreciate it if you were to point out some parts that need to be better inspected. Like grammar. There are definitely going to be some grammar mistakes. Also, I would like to know if you found the wording bloated, or if some parts needed to be shorter. I don't want to end up using 500 words to describe a table.
*checks notes* Was that everything? Yeah, that was about it. Hopefully, you will be here for the next chapter. Have a good day.
