Inspiration from both A Loud Among Demons and Lincoln Loud and the Ghoul School. Lincoln being a Grimwood's student before being cursed in Hell and as the human intern at IMP. An idea I had as I go through ideas for a rewrite for Loud Prince of Hell and more Lincoln and Sibella stories. My own take on Seeing Stars.

IMP offices in Imp City, the Pride Ring and Lincoln Loud the accidental human ward of the assassination company that was the Intermediate Murder Professionals; was sitting down on a chair. Moxxie convinced Blitz to talk to Loona about her behaviour towards clients and she was not taking it well... He loved her like an older sister (second one with the name pronounced as it was) but to say that she had anger problems...

Yeah; he was just looking at photos that he kept with him; with him and his family and the friends he made as the only human and male student at Grimwood's Finishing School for Girls. Finding out at the last moment that it was a school for ghoul girls and it was a scary shock even if a bit cool; however he soon warmed up to them. Once you got past them being monsters and their eccentricities; they were perfectly welcoming, nice and friendly girls. Including Ms Grimwood who ran the school and did almost every lesson.

Plus having THE Shaggy and Scooby Doo as the gym coaches was just awesome.

All of his experience there helped him with getting used to Hell more than he would have.

All his human and ghoul friends he was missing; plus family and one fellow student who he had fell for...

The photos of him smiling with Sibella Dracula; THE Count Dracula's daughter. He would never have thought that would happen and Lucy was so jealous when she found out... How pretty she was, how confident she was and how she liked to tease him...

Them along with his family and human friends; he missed so much. At least to his surprise; IMP was quite welcoming at least by demons from LITERAL Hell standards. Moxxie and Millie as his guardians warmed up to him, Blitzo liked him in his own unique Blitzo way, his magic teacher Stolas was nice and understanding even if he couldn't help but be put off by his advances towards Blitzo. Plus his creepy at first goth teenage daughter Octavia; was clear that she didn't want to be on that trip to the Loo Loo Land park that Stolas had IMP bodyguard them for and it was clearly an excuse for him to flirt with Blitzo.

However Lincoln and Octavia warmed up to eachother and kept in touch; being his friend and another older sister figure in Hell.

"I should probably help calm her down... Knowing her she will be like that for a while..." Lincoln said frowning at the commotion still outside. He got up and got to the door...

He almost ran into Octavia; "Oh sorry Lincoln..." Octavia whispered apologetically as she then closed the door.

"It's alright... Wait... Shouldn't you be getting ready for that meteor tears thing?" Lincoln asked knowing how excited Octavia was for that; having been told of the meteor shower by her father when she was a child who promised to take her to see it.

"I thought so too... But it seems that Dad is too busy being angry with my mother to bother remembering..." Octavia scoffed as Lincoln looked at her apologetically. He heard about Stolas divorcing from his quite awful wife; one who even Revolta the Wicked Witch of the Web would find unpleasant company.

"Oh... I'm so sorry Via... I wish that I could help..." Lincoln said apologetically putting a hand to her shoulder but she was looking around the office.

"How about you tell me where the book is kept? You can come and watch the stars with me instead..." Octavia said looking around the office making Lincoln pause.

"...Huh?" Lincoln asked as Octavia flashed him a smile.

"Come on Lincoln; how Dad described them sounds incredible... We get the book; go to where we can see them..." Octavia said as Lincoln shook his head.

"What... Alone... Without Blitzo and everyone's knowledge or permission... Plus I remember at Grimwood's being warned about messing with dangerous spell books without proper training or supervision..." Lincoln said as Octavia then looked behind the painting and found the safe.

"Come on... It will be fine..." Octavia said as she then put in for the code: 1234.

Lincoln looked incredulously and scoffed; he then said "Come on Octavia; are you seriously... I know Blitz can be... Out of there but do you really think that he would be stupid or careless enough to make the code to access the dangerous spell book 1234? I think that you would have to give him more credit than that..."

Lincoln was silenced as the safe accepted the code; Octavia then opened the door and grabbed the Ars Goetia grimoire with Lincoln's mouth frozen open. "Goddammit Blitz..." Lincoln muttered sounding so disappointed and frustrated with his boss. Lincoln then went to grab the book from Octavia and they tussled over it.

"Hey... Let go..." Octavia demanded as they were holding onto one of the covers and it opened up; Octavia managed to get her face to it. "Take us to see the stars..." Octavia said as it then opened up the portal. Octavia then pushed Lincoln through it with him screaming and she went through it after them.

IMP opened up the door to spot this; Loona and Moxxie looked open mouthed shocked and scared. "MY BABY!" Millie screamed close to hysterics.

"Oh come on... He could have at least asked if he was gonna have a friend over here on company time..." Blitzo groaned.

Lincoln landed with a thud and Octavia extended a hand to help him up; "Thanks Via but I am still mad at you... How much trouble we are gonna be and I can't be out here for too long... Cursed and all..." Lincoln muttered as he looked around the area and saw some sort of rock festival was on from the alley that they were in. Lincoln looked at a poster and said "all sorts of rock bands and stars... This is what you did Octavia! Not the type of stars you wanted... So let's go before..."

"Oh... Those Hex Girls that you told me about... We could listen to them live... Stars of Bat Out of Hell? Should still be fun; we can see about finding where to watch the stars later..." Octavia said interested as Lincoln looked at her. "Come on Lincoln please... You can be my guide... I feel that I need this... I want to see the Stars and if Dad is too busy yelling at my mother then I want to at least do it with a friend. Besides some fun with a friend is what I need..." Octavia said in a low voice giving him a look of pleading.

Lincoln stared at her face and relented; "I guess it won't hurt..." Lincoln then said as Octavia then hugged his neck kneeling down. "Just have to be the Man with the Plan and come up with a proper plan..." Lincoln then said as Octavia looked at him.

"To see the stars?" Octavia asked as Lincoln shook his head.

Lincoln then said "that too but more about what to tell the others later..."

Shaggy's van was driving the students of Grimwood's to the rock musical festival on a special field trip to a nearby rock festival. The atmosphere was mostly glum and down; not as lively as they would normally be if you would pardon the pun.

Lincoln their boy human fellow student had gone to his home state and Ms Grimwood had to solemnly tell everyone that Lincoln was missing; informed by his frantic parents and it seemed that his family was not taking it well. Her staff and students not taking it any better...

Shaggy and Scooby worried about their kid brother figure; Elsa looking out of power, Phantasma not as energetic as she would usually be, Winnie was angrily muttering about Lincoln doing this to them and it was just her own way of coping. Tanis was in small tears and everyone else wished that they were able to comfort her better; wishing that the boy she looked up to as her older brother along with Shaggy was okay.

Sibella... Sibella hadn't made a pun since it happened; scared for her boyfriend and would go to sleep clutching a photo of them together. Her stepmother Vanna Pira tried to comfort her in calls and she could make out her father the Count swearing to make Lincoln pay for causing his daughter such distress.

"...Remember everyone; please try and have fun for Lincoln... Like he wouldn't want you to just be miserable here..." Shaggy then said softly to them as they were arriving as they sighed.

"Be more fun with him here..." Tanis whispered as they did their best to try and lighten up as they got out of the van.

Truth be told; yesterday I saw Bat Out of Hell the Musical with my parents and I really enjoyed it.
