Four years later, September 2007
"Liz, it is not the end of the world. Micheal is only going to middle school not getting married. Oh boy, I can only imagine how you were when the twins went to preschool yesterday." Emily says. " Stop picking on me damn it. My babies are growing up and I can't help it. Damn hormones." She mutters. " Wait a minute, are you pregnant?" Emily squeals. " Shush keep your voice down. I haven't told Jason or the boys yet." Elizabeth says. " Bragging rights. I can't wait to rub it in everyone's faces." Emily says. " Knew what?" Jason asks. "Nothing." They both speak at the same time. " You two are up to something. I can tell." Jason says. " Daddy they are being mean to me, make them stop," Elizabeth says as she goes to Sonny's open arms and gives Jason a look. " I will make it all better," Sonny says. " It's the boys' first day of school and instead of being nice, they are making fun of me because I was crying. My babies are growing up." Elizabeth says. " I wasn't laughing at you. I was laughing at Johnny because Connor tricked him making him think he lost his car keys to his favorite car. I didn't know you were crying. I'm sorry." Jason mutters. " Good because in seven months you are going to be up all night changing diapers," Elizabeth says.
April 2008
Elizabeth's hospital room
" Hey, princess. Mommy is tired out but that's ok. It's just you and me." Jason whispers. " Favorite aunt is here. Hand her over. I won the bet." Emily says as Jason huffs and hands over over. " Who did you bet with?" Jason asks. " Duh, Johnny," Emily says. Sonny knocks on the door and enters. " Hey Elizabeth is asleep but everyone is perfectly healthy," Jason says. " She is beautiful. She looks like her mother. You are going to be in so much trouble." Sonny says as he touches his granddaughter's head and she lifts her head to her grandfather's voice. " Wanna hold her," Emily asks. " I would love to," Sonny says as Emily hands her over. " Looks like you are going to be in trouble too, Grandpa," Elizabeth says sleepily.
April 2011, Sofia's birthday party
" Jason, stop making that face," Elizabeth says. " No, that little boy is too close to Sofia," Jason says. Emily snicker at them. " Great, now I have to go over there because Jake purposefully got ice cream on Henry. This is your fault." Elizabeth says she mutters. " That's my boy," Jason says. " You are terrible. It is her birthday. Let her have fun." Emily says. " Oh, Sofia was in on it. That kid was being mean to Lily so we had to show him what happens when you pick on family." Micheal says nonchalantly. " Oh, I am so giving his parents a piece of my mind. Picking on my child." Emily marches over there. Oh boy Jason thinks this will get messy.
Other timeline, October 2010
" Oh they look so cute in their outfits. That's right mommy's little princesses." Elizabeth says. " I can't believe I let you talk me into this," Jason mutters. " You look fine and stop pretending you don't like it. It's their first Halloween. Cam is a little biker boy copying after you and Jake is a little businessman. The girls are fairies. Us being the couple from Grease isn't that bad. You still get to wear a leather jacket just with greasy hair. I will make it up to you if you hate it." Elizabeth says. Jason smirks and Elizabeth rolls her eyes. " One track mind. You sneaky little jerk." Elizabeth mutters. Jason whispers " We both know there is nothing little about me." Jake says " Mom are you ok? You are like super red." Elizabeth says " I am fine. Come on or we will be late. Promise me Lila and Amelia that you are going to be Mommy's girls against mean daddies."
Both versions of Jason and Elizabeth went on to live long lives with a few rough patches but in the end, nothing could break their connection. It was too powerful. Their children went on to find partners who loved them the way their parents loved each other and carried on the legacy of the Morgan name.
Afterlife
" This is weird, right? I mean it is like having a twin but not at the same time." Elizabeth says. " It is interesting I mean no one else seems to have a sort of twin. It started with us and we came full circle." Lizzie says. " That indeed you finally got it right and I for one am glad. However, it created a ripple effect." Lila says. " What do you mean grandmother?" Jason asks ( Lizzie's version). " Come along, I will show you," Lila says as they all follow each other hand in hand. She opens a door and it is a bright room and it is a projector of sorts. On the screen, the younger version of themselves. " Because your love was so powerful and a rarity of sorts it created a third timeline and it will continue to create parallel timelines until the end of time. Names may be a little different and lives are going to look different but at the core of it as you can see it will always be Jason and Elizabeth." Lila says. Both couples are in awe and Lizzie laughs. " Oh boy that version of us shall be interesting." She says. " That is one word for it. Jason will get a taste of his own medicine. This is going to a show." Elizabeth says.
Parallel Universe, 2015, Jake's
Elizabeth was having a decent day but no some women can't keep their hands to themselves. She grabs the harpy's arm and twists it. " He is too drunk. Back off or I will kick your ass and we both know I am good for it." Elizabeth says as she shoves the woman away and she runs away scared. " Come on big guy, let's get you somewhere to sleep it off. Aye Francis help me will ya." Elizabeth says. They help him upstairs and he groans. " I will take it from here," Elizabeth says. "Where am I?" The man asks. " You are at Jake's. It seems like you are either too drunk or maybe your drink was spiked. What's your name?" She asks. " My name is Jason. I don't feel too good." He says and passes out.
The next day
Jason wakes up with a killer hangover. " Welcome to the land of the living. I got you some coffee and bagels. There is cream and sugar in the bag. The room is good for the rest of the day but I have somewhere I need to be." She says. " Thank you." He tells her. " Not going to ask me my name." She asks. He does a half smile and says " I know who you are, Elizabeth. I will be seeing you around." She tilts her head and shakes it. "Someone is confident." She says. He shrugs and she laughs as she leaves but turns and winks at him before closing the door. Jason pulls out his wedding ring and whispers " I will make you fall in love with me again. Elizabeth Morgan." He finally tracked his wife who lost his memory because of his damn brother. His family could never accept her since her father was the head of the mob but she was different and she was the love of his life. " I found her, Sonny. Don't worry she is fine and thank you for everything. I was glad to hear that we own ELQ and Emily will take my place and fire them as first order of business. I will talk to you later." Jason says. No one can keep him from her in this life or the next. We are forever.
