Author Notes: Hey, you guys welcomed to a brand-new story here's a Ben 10 and Young Justice crossover I hoped you would like and enjoyed it. I've read other Ben 10 and Young Justice crossovers, so I've decided to do one on my own.
I've read other Ben 10 and Young Justice crossovers such as Justice Era: Dark by G.O.G.E.T.A. 9000, Omni Justice by Anime Crossovers and they are both great, popular and best stories.
The story will take after Ben 10: Omniverse and Young Justice will take during Season 1.

Chapter 1: New World and Independence Day
Bellwood...July 4 2:05 P.M.
It was a nice sunny and peaceful day in the city of Bellwood. Today is a special day, today is Independence Day also known as the 4th of July. At the place Mr. Smoothies Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen Tennyson, and his friends Kevin Levin and Rook Blonko, were sitting on a bench today. Drinking and enjoying their 4th of July theme smoothies, which are consisted in three different three favors: cherry, blueberry, and vanilla.
''Man, these smoothies are good.'' said Ben, drinking a blueberry smoothie.
''Yeah.'' agreed Kevin, drinking a cherry smoothie.
''I can't wait for the fireworks tonight, guys.'' responded Gwen, drinking a vanilla smoothie.
''I am as well. I've been studying of Earth's holidays including Independence Day. And learn of these 'fireworks' I'd like to see them today as well. It would be my first seeing them.''
''Oh, you're gonna enjoyed, buddy.'' smirked Kevin.
Ben took a slip of his smoothie and sighed.
''What's wrong, Ben?'' Gwen asked her cousin, curiously.
''I'm bored.'' he replied.
''I figure, you'd say that.'' smirked Kevin. ''I should have known.''
''It's just not the same anymore. Ever since I defeated Maltruant. There haven't been a new threat in months, weeks, and days. I just wish... there someplace I could go for a while, and I can finally fight some baddies.''
''I believe I can help with that.'' spoke a British accent.
The Alien Force turned around to man with fair skin, grey eyes, and black hair. He wore a white lab coat over a white shirt with a brown vest and black tie, black pants, and black shoes. He also wore googles with green lenses around his neck. This was none than Professor Paradox, the Time Walker.
''Professor Paradox?'' asked Ben.
''Hello, Ben.'' greeted Professor Paradox.
''What are doing here?'' inquired Gwen.
''It's the universe in danger?'' questioned Ben.
''No, exactly. Tell me Benjamin are you aware of the Multiverse?'' asked Professor Paradox.
''Yeah, why?'' he asked.
''Because I'm sending to a world full of superheroes and villains.'' answered the Professor.
''Wait? A world of superheroes?'' asked Ben in excited.
''Indeed. There is a team of superheroes who saving and protecting the Earth.''
''And that team of superheroes would be?'' inquired Gwen.
''That would the Justice League.'' replied Professor Paradox. ''The Justice League is a team made up of the greatest heroes on the planet. The Justice League was formed after seven heroes work together to after stopping an invasion from an alien race called the Appellaxin. The heroes consisted of; Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Martain Manhunter, and they together they became the Justice League. Over the years they'd recruit other heroes to join the League.''
''But...what does that have to do with me?'' Ben asked Professor Paradox.
''You will be helping the League's proteges.'' answered Professor Paradox. ''Before you asked, it would be best if I tell you about them. Four members of the League, Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Green Arrow have trained young lauds after their belt. Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Speedy. Today their meteors are taking to the League's fake HQ the Hall of Justice which is for the media and transported via Zeta-Tubes to an orbit satellite called the Watchtower.'' ''I'll opened a portal straight inside the Hall of Justice.'
''How do I know that the Justice League will even let me stay in their Hall of Justice?'' asked Ben, curiously.
''Not to worry, I'm an old friend of the Justice League, I met on several occasions. Just tell them that I sent you.'' responded the Professor. ''So, Ben you are you in?''
''I'm in.'' smirked the teen hero.
''Splendid! Now, let's get moving.'' Professor Paradox took out his pocket watch as it glowed blue and blue and white portal appeared.
Ben looked back at his team. ''Guys, I don't know how long I'll be gone. So please watch over Bellwood until I get back.''
''Consider it done.'' answered Rook.
''We have everything under control, buddy.'' smirked Kevin.
''Good luck Ben and be careful.'' said Gwen with a smile.
Ben nodded and spoke. ''I will.'' he walked into the portal. And the portal closed behind.
Gotham City, July 4 12:00 EDT...
It was a beautiful day in Gotham City which was quite rare. Most days, people tried to just get on their day in the crime-ridden city and get back home without getting mugged. Today, the sun was shining, and crime seemed to be nonexistent.
Feeling brave, many citizens made their way to the city's main park to relax. Of course, it couldn't last. One moment, a family was enjoying sandwiches; the next were encased in ice. Several people tried to move to help, but another blast of ice sent the civilians running.
One family stare at the cliff to see to a man in a powerful blue and black suit. A glass case surrounds his head, filled with a sub-zero temperature to protect him, from the heavy box strapped to his back, plugged into a socket around his stomach. In hands was a large cannon with sips of cold air coming from the barrel. This was Mister Freeze.
''Enjoying family time?'' asked the villain rhetorically, then freeze the family with his ice cannon. ''My family had other plans?''
He then slides down the ramp now going from the cliff. Taking aim at the running citizens of Gotham. Only for a black boomerang to throw off his aim.
''Batman?'' he asked, as if he's expecting it. ''I was wondering when-''
He turned to find on there. Only a childish laughter echoing around him, which in an open area is impressive. From above, a black shadow is over his head. The figure lands on the ground, revealing a boy with short black hair. He was fairly short for his age and had a lean, well-toned build. His black hair was unkempt, hanging over his forehead. His uniform was comprised of a red vest held closed by three yellow rectangular fasteners on the front, black leggings, boots and gloves, all of which seems to be made of a sort of protective body armor that still allowed him great mobility. On the left side of his chest, he had a yellow stylized 'R' symbol in a black circle, and around his waist he wore a yellow utility belt with pounces for his various equipment. He wore a cape over his shoulders that was black and on the outside and pale yellow on the inside. He wore a black stylized domino mask, his eyes appeared completely white.
This was Robin, the Boy Wonder. Robin throw more birdarangs at Mister Freeze's helmet, cracking it and knocking the villain down on the ground.
''Oh. Boy Wonder.'' scoffed Mister Freeze. ''The Bat sent you to drag me off to prison. Frankly, I'm underwhelmed.'' As he stands back up, aiming his ice gun at Robin this time.
''Great, but I'm kind in a hurry here.'' declared Robin.
''Kids.'' said Mister Freeze in an annoyed tone. ''Always in such a rush.''
'''Not talking to you.'' stated Robin.
The ice villain looked up in time to see a man fall from the sky. He wore a dark gray costume with the symbol of a bat speared over the chest, blue trunks, gloves with fins on the outer side, boots and a black cape with a unique pattern at the end. He also wears a black cowl designed with bat ears. He also wears a yellow utility belt.
This is Batman, the Dark Knight.
Batman sent a flying punch to Mister Freeze's face, breaking the glass of his helmet.
Star City, July 4, 9:01 PDT
On the Star City suspension bridge, a young man with spiky hair, blue eyes and his skin is a light blue color. He wore clothes he wears a sleeveless dark shirt and black pants.
This is Icicle Jr.
Icicle Jr landed on the bridge and ices up the bridge, before using his cyrokinesis to create a shell off ice. Knocking cars off balance and causing many crashes.
He laughed maniacally before arrows started raining down. In two colors, three green fletched ones and two red fletched ones. He pauses for a moment only for another green one hit him in the shoulder. The nock of the arrow blinking red and beeping from blowing up. The small explosion knocks him off balance and towards the other arrows that then blow up and knock him back to where he was. As the head trauma begins to subside, he turned his head, looking to one of the towers on the bridge.
Standing there were two individuals.
The first one was a man with blond hair, a blond mustache and beard. He wears a dark green shirt with a hood underneath a long light green vest with three dark green oval-shaped fastener, black pants and green boots. He carries a quiver along his back that is filled with arrows and has a black strap that goes along his chest. He also has long green gloves, a black mask, and a green belt with a gold 'G'. His hand a green bow.
This is Green Arrow, the Emerald Archer.
Next to Green Arrow was a young man with auburn hair. He is tall in stature. He donned a yellow sixteenth century-style hat complete with feather, yellow gloves, boots, belt and a red suit. In his hand was a yellow bolt.
This is Speedy, Green Arrow's partner.
Both of them aiming another arrow at the ice-themed villain.
''Finally!'' yelled Icicle Junior ''I was wondering what a guy had to do to get a little attention around here.'' His left arm, now the one facing the archers, grows and becomes more mace-like in style Before he brings it back and begins launching icicles at the archers. Following it up with another volley from his right hand which has mirrored his left.
The two archers begin releasing arrows with ease.
''Junior's doing this for attention?'' asked Speedy, surprised. The first batch of icicles explode thanks to their arrows, but the second set still come through. Forcing them to run across the tower's width and down to the suspender. They continued to launch arrows and dodge the ice that cements to where it hits before growing. ''I'm telling you now. This little distribution better not interfere.''
The two archers launch a pair of arrows at Junior, who created a front of himself. However, the arrows are explosive creating a hole in the shield. As he straightens out, he takes aim and fired straight at Junior, hitting him in the jaw. Knocking him down and out.
''Ha ha ha!'' chuckled Green Arrow, standing mere feet from where Junior ended his side. ''Kid had a glass jaw.'' he commented as his partner landed gracefully a few feet away.
''Hilarious.'' drawled Speedy stepping a little closer to Green Arrow. ''Can we go?'' he asked. ''Today's the day.''
Peral Harbor, July 4th 6:02 HST...
The harbor has many large shards of ice sticking out of the water. Many of the ships are frozen in place. Zooming in one, was a slim woman with dark blue hair, blue eyes, and blue skin. She wears a short and tattered white cape tied around her shoulders, with a slim-fitting blue top and black pants.
This is Killer Forst.
Killer Frost used her ice powers. Icing more of the ship and creating even snowfall. However, who's she throwing at it was a tall, muscular Caucasian male with short blond hair. He wears an orange scale-mail tunic and dark green leggings. At his waist is a gold belt that is clasped with a stylized letter 'A' which a built-in communicator. He also wears golden gauntlets on his wrists, and dark green greaves.
This is Aquaman, the King of Atlantis.
Aquaman dodged and come down from the open bridge to the turret, then to the second turret before jumping to the deck.
She predicts this and freezes him before he could get more than two feet down the deck.
Behind him and off to his left an Atlantean with light blond hair cut at the bottom, deep brown skin, pale green eyes, high cheekbones, and a lean build. He possesses black eel-like tattoos that run across his back and along his arms and glow a bright blue when using his powers. He also has webbed hands and feet and possess a set of gills that him to breathe underneath. His costume is a skin-tight, full body, red and blue swimsuit that exposes his arms and feet. The costume has a set of small dorsal fins on the back of the claves. He has ''A'' symbol on his belt buckle. He also carries a water pack that hold twin Water-Bearers and water.
This is Aqualad, Aquaman's partner.
Aqualad jumps from the first turret and over his mostly frozen mentor who breaks out and follows after him.
''Don't tell me you're not excited.'' Aquaman begins conversation with his partner.
''Right now, my king, I am more focused on the matter at hand.'' replied Aqualad in a very formal tone. Dodging under a shot of ice, before taking right and getting Killer Frost to shoot in that direction so he could take left and get in the opening.
She stops her right strike and aims for the area right before the younger Atlantean, but he jumps, pulling out his Water-Bearers that form dual maces, causing the eel tattoos on his arms to begin their bright glow. Again, she aims at the teen. Nearly hitting him, until he puts his Water-Bearers in the way of the strike. Freezing them and freezing his hands to the handles. He lands barefoot right before her, before completing a strong double uppercut. Shattering the ice around his hands and what made up maces and knocking the ice villain out. As they do his tatts returned back to their normal black coloring.
Aquaman stops a few feet behind him, crossing his arms and gaining the teen's attention. ''Well?''
''Yes, I'm excited.'' admitted Aqualad. ''Today's the day.''
Central City, July 4th 11:03 CDT...
Ice covers the edges of a hole in the wall of a Jewelry Store. In the road a squat, pale man with light hair and large teeth. He wears dark blue goggles at all times. He wears a clear blue parka, and slightly darker blue pants. His hood and cuffs are lined with fur, and his shoulders are adorned with a matching white snow motif. He wears a yellow belt with pouches, and white snow boots.
This is Captain Cold.
Captain Cold is trapped by individuals running in red and yellow blurs.
The first one was a man in a full-body suit that is all red but has two small yellow lightning bolts across the waist and wrists. He has a yellow lightning bolt logo on his chest and boots.
This is the Flash, the Fastest Man Alive and the Scarlet Speedster.
The second one was a young man. He had spiky red hair, freckles, and green eyes. He had a lean yet slightly muscular build. His uniform is yellow with red pants, red gloves, and yellow shoes, with a red lightning bolt within a white circle on his chest.
This is Kid Flash, the Flash's partner.
Both Flash and Kid Flash are running in circles around the ice-themed villain. He attempts to shoot them twice but isn't even close to hitting either of them. His third shot is closer, but he misses the Flash and ends up hitting a car. Freezing it solid in what it would like if it had gotten in a car crash and went flying.
''Stealing ice? Really? Isn't that a big cliché for even Captain Cold?'' asked Flash, still running circles around the villain.
''Come in!'' called out Kid Flash. ''We don't have time for this!'' With that he slips his red googles over his eyes, cutting out of the circle and heading for Cold's turned back. However, his talking gave him away and Cold turns around the sound of his voice. His Cold Gun aimed at the teen.
He dodges, some of the ice hitting his shoulder as he turns away from the stream. Then facing back towards Cold, snagging the Cold Gun and knocking the ice off his shoulder as he skids to step in the T intersection.
Cold growls, clenching his empty hand in frustration, but he couldn't get any farther before Flash hits with a hard cross to the face. Knocking him a good five or six feet to the side, and out for the count. ''Calm down, Kid.'' he said nonchalantly.
''Oh please!'' cried out Kid Flash in annoyance. ''You'll chat it up with the cods, with bystanders, with Cold even.'' He gestures to the now unconscious criminal his point. ''No. No way!'' He steps up to his mento, despite the height difference Flash seems to actually be telling him seriously. ''Today's the day!'' His bright green eyes are glowing with excitement.
The Hall of Justice, Washington D.C., Jul 4th, 14:00 EDT...
Before the Hall of Justice stands Batman, Robin, Green Arrow, Speedy, Aquaman, and Aqualad. Batman turned to his partner.
''Today's the day.'' he smiled.
''Welcome to the Hall of Justice.'' continued Green Arrow.
''Headquarters of the Juste League.'' finished Aquaman.
''Oh man!'' Kid Flash's voice cried out, catching all of their attention and causing them to turn away from the Hall for a moment. Flash skids to a stop first, followed closely his sidekick. ''I knew we'd be the last ones here.'' he griped crossing his arms, causing Flash to raise an eyebrow behind his cowl.
As they walked down the area opened so they could get to the Hall the crowd goes insane. One spectator who's particularly far off questions quite loudly. ''Is that Batman?'' asked a man.
''I see Flash and Flash Jr.'' another voice called out, this one female.
''His name is Speedy. Duh.'' Someone objected, clearly having heard her get that sidekick's name wrong.
''No, Speedy is Green Arrow's sidekick. Another, younger male corrected.
''Well, that makes no sense.'' A fourth spectator quipped.
''Ready to see the inner sanctum?'' Green Arrow asked Speedy.
''Born that way.'' answered Speedy, with a minute glance back at his mentor.
''I'm glad we're all here.'' said Aqualad, turning the conversation towards the two boys younger than himself and the one older than him.
''Have all four sidekicks ever been at same place at the same time?'' questioned Kid Flash, looking mostly towards Robin, because despite the fact that he's youngest he would know.
''Don't call us sidekicks.'' commanded Speedy, practically growling the first words. ''Not after today.''
Kid Flash smiled. ''Sorry.'' he apologized, seeming rather sincere. ''First time at the Hall. I'm a little overwhelmed.
''You're overwhelmed. Freeze was underwhelmed. Why isn't anybody whelmed?'' asked Robin as they walked through the doors. ''Oh.'' He manages, starring up at the
statues of the founding members of the Justice League: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, The Flash and Green Lantern. ''Maybe that's why.''
They arrived at a large door with AUTHORIZED PERSONAL ONLY written on it. It slides opens, revealing two individuals.
The first one was a tall, green-skinned humanoid. His head is completely bald, and his face is oddly proportioned with heavy brows, thick tips and red eyes. His costume is primarily black, with red accents, and a large belt and x-shaped straps across his chest. He also wears a blue cape that is fastened by gold clips.
This is Martian Manhunter.
The second one takes the appearance of a tall red robot with no ears or nose. His mouth and eye sockets are black giving him the appearance of an emotionless robot. He has a yellow T symbol on his chest, and a yellow arrow on his forehead. He also wears a blue cape.
This is Red Tornado.
The two step out of the hallway and into where the cameras could see them.
''Robin, Speedy, Aqualad, Kid Flash.'' Martian Manhunter lists them off in order, his voice calm but monotonic and formal. ''Welcome.'' Then he turned around, leading them inside. The two leading protégés, Robin and Kid Flash fist bump with each other as they began to follow him. ''You now have unlimited access to the gym, our fully stocked gallery, and of course our library.'' The opens revealing a massive library with massive computer and extensive amounts of books.
Flash turned back to the four teens. ''Make yourselves at home.'' he said with a grand gesture and a smile. Robin and Kid Flash literally jump into their chairs, while Aqualad calmly takes the one across from them. Speedy, however remains standing. Looking directly at the mentors.
Then suddenly a blue and white portal appeared, and the adult heroes recognized the portal. And coming out was none than Ben Tennyson. The portal closed behind.
''I guess this is Hall?'' he guessed.
Batman, Grenn Arrow, Aquaman, Flash, Martian Manhunter and Red Tornado walked towards him. As he looked at them.
''Who are you?'' asked Green Arrow.
''I'm Ben Tennyson. And I was sent here by Professor Paradox.'' answered Ben.
''Oh, you're the Ben Tennyson that he has been talking about.'' replied Aquaman.
''Nice to finally meet you.'' Batman told him.
''Welcome to Hall of Justice.'' greeted Martian Manhunter. ''I am Martain Manhunter. This is Batman, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Flash, and Red Tornado.''
''Make yourself at home with our protégés.'' Flash pointed to their partners.
Before Ben could walk off, he heard a beeping and lifts up his wrist to see the Omnitrix's faceplate blinking yellow.
''Un-Catalogued DNA detected. Scanning.'' spoke the Omnitrix.
The faceplate, slides back and allows the core to pop. A yellow beam of light fired from the Omnitrix and scanned Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Flash. Then the Omnitrix shifted back into its position.
''Unkown DNA Samples acquired. Scan complete.'' announced the Omnitrix.
The adult heroes stared at Ben in surprise and slight suspicion. The Omnitrix wielder rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled nervously.
''It does that sometimes.'' he explained weakly.
Ben walked towards where the four teens and stands next to them.
''Hey.'' he greeted.
''Hey.'' responded Robin.
''Hey.'' greeted Kid Flash.
''Hello.'' greeted Aqualad.
''Hey.'' greeted Speedy.
''So, Ben, was it?'' asked Robin.
''Yep.'' answered the Omnitrix Wielder.
''The name's Robin, Batman's partner.'' introduced Robin
''I am Aqualad.'' introduced Aqualad.
''Kid Flash.'' introduced Kid Flash.
''Speedy.'' introduced Speedy.
''Nice to meet you guys.'' said Ben.
''Quick debrief to discuss the coincidence of four ice villains on the same day.'' Batman then turns to the five teens. ''We shouldn't be long.'' Then he turns to another floor, and a fisheye camera pop out.
''Recognize: Batman, 0-2 Aquaman, 0-4, Flash, 0-8, Green Arrow, 0-7 Martian Manhunter, 1-6, Red Tornado.'' The door behind the camera illuminates before opening reading out JUSTICE LEAGUE MEMBERS ONLY.
''That's it?'' demanded Speedy his anger and volume catching all of their attention instantly. ''You promised a real look inside not a glorified backstage pass.'' He crossed his arms since his eyes couldn't show his emotions, he has lenses in his mask.
''It's a first step.'' spoke up Aquaman, though calmly. ''you've been granted access few others get.''
''Oh, really?'' questioned Speedy, gesturing up to a group of people taking pictures on the other side of presumably soundproof glass. ''Who cares which side of the glass we're on?''
'' Roy, you just need to patient.'' Green Arrow told him.
''What I need is respect.'' glowed Speedy, before turning around to the face other teens including Ben. ''I don't know about you, but they're treating us like kids.'' He tries to speak directly with them. ''Worse like sidekicks!'' Hus anger was steadily growing but that one word makes it nearly double. ''We deserve better than this.''
The other teens just stared at him confused and bewildered, sharing glances between themselves unsure if to talk him down or side with him or perhaps even stay neutral but, the archer wouldn't have it.
''You're kidding right?'' asked Speedy. The three don't object. ''You're playing their game?'' His anger was growling again. Worse this time. ''Why?! Today was supposed to the day, step one in becoming full-fledged members of the League.''
''Well, sure.'' spoke up Kid Flash, looking to Robin and Aqualad. ''But I thought step one was the tour of the HQ?''
''Except the Hall isn't the League's real HQ.'' corrected Speedy. Green Arrow looks mildly surprised, while Aquaman's eyes wide in shock. Not to mention Robin paired with Suprise, Kid Flash's mouth in shock and Aqualad had his accompanied with confusion. ''I bet they never told you it's just a false front for tourists. And a put stop for catching Zeta-Beam Teleporter Tubes for the real thing an orbit satellite called the Watcher.'' He gestured up twitch his right hand
Green Arrow turned around, showing Batman's glare, which is probably what got to turn towards the Dark Knight in the first place. ''I know, I know, but I thought we could make an exception.'' Batman continues to glare. ''Or not.''
Aquaman steps up slightly. ''You're not helping your cause here, son. Stand down or...''
''Or what?'' he inquired. ''You'll send me to my room? And I'm not your son!'' He snapped then turns to Green Arrow. ''I'm not even his.'' His anger seems to die out as he speaks again. ''I thought I was his partner, but anymore.'' Emphasizing his point by taking off the canary-yellow hat and throwing it to the ground.
All three younger protégés and Ben could watch in wide-eyed shock.
''Guess they were right you three.'' commented Speedy as he walks between them and Ben who stands up in an attempt to either say something or physically get in his way. ''You're not ready.'' With that they all watched as he leaves the library.
''Well, that was... dramatic.'' quipped Ben.
They can't sit on it for long, an alarm blaring from the supercomputer. Turning on they find a tall, muscular Caucasian male with vivid blue eyes and short black hair with a curl over his forehead. He wears a blue uniform with is famous red and yellow S shield on his chest, red trunks, a yellow belt, red boots and a red cape.
This is Superman, the Man of Steel.
''Superman, to Justice League. There has been an explosion at Project Cadmus. It's on fire.'' explained Superman.
The seven Justice League all step to the supercomputer.
'I've had my suspicious about Cadmus. This may present the perfect opportunity to in-'' Batman but is cut off another alarm comes through. Another Leaguer accessing the channel as their appeared side by side with Superman's.
The person was a middle-aged man with green eyes, a prominent black mustache and is distinguished by his formal attire. He wears three layers of clothing, which consists of a white wing-collar shirt and red bowtie under a yellow vest, topped by a black tailcoat.
This is Zatara.
''Zatara to Justice League. The sorcerer Wotan is using the Amulet of Atlan to blot out the sun. Requesting full League response.'' stated Zatara.
''Superman?'' asked Batman.
''It's a small fire.'' assured Superman. ''Local authorities have it under control.''
''Then Cadmus cat wait.'' stated the Dark Knight, then presses a key in the massive keyboard below. ''All Leaguers rendezvous at Zatara's coordinates. Batman out.''
Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Ben walked up to the adult heroes.
''Stay put.'' Batma told them, barely even looking at them before he gives his order.
''What?'' questioned Robin, shocked. ''Why?''
''This is a League mission.'' answered Aquaman.
''You're not trained.'' continued Flash.
''Since when?'' demanded Kid Flash.
''I meant you're not trained to work as a part of this team.'' corrected Flash.
''There will be other missions, when you're ready.'' stated Aquaman calmly.
''But for now, stay put.'' glared Batman. The screen fully black behind him, making his lenses pop even more.
All three look sad, Ben feels bad for them, but as their mentors walk away anger comes cover their faces.
''Glad you didn't bring you who?'' Green Arrow asked Martian Manhunter with a small tease in his tone.
''Indeed.'' agreed the alien rapidly.
They walked in behind Aquaman, Batman, and Flash, but Red Tornado looks at them for a moment before following. Then the door closes.
Kid Flash scoffed. ''When we're ready?'' he asked. ''How are ever supposed to ready if they treat us like sidekicks?!''
''My mentor, my king. I thought he trusted me.'' muttered Aqualad sadly.
''Trust?'' asked Kid Flash sarcastically. ''They don't even trust us with the basics! They've got a secret HQ in space!''
''What else aren't they telling us?'' wondered Aqualad.
Robin sighed. ''I have better question: why didn't we leave with Speedy?'' he asked.
The three sidekicks all frowned and looked at the floor. They were really disappointed to be treated like that, Ben noted. He guessed it was normal. These guys had trained and work beside those heroes for years, built up relationships with them and worked hard to gain their trust and respect. Then he remembered what Batman had said before they left.
''What is Project Cadmus?'' asked Ben.
''I don't know.'' replied Robin before grinning. ''But I can find out!''
Ben and the others followed the youngest here towards the supercomputer, where the Boy Wonder immediately set to work.
''Access Denied.'' the filtered voice deadpanned.
''Heh, wanna bet?'' asked Robin.
A large wall of codes appeared, and Robin started typing away, awing Ben and Kid Flash in the process.
''Wow. How are you doing that?'' asked Kid Flash.
''Same system as the Batcave.'' responded Robin with a smug.
''Access Granted.'' spoke the computer voice.
''Nice.'' commented Ben.
Robin searched and opened a certain file.
''Project Cadmus, a genetics lab here in D.C, no further information.'' he informed. ''That's all there is.''
''You'd think the Justice League would have more information, right?'' asked Ben.
''And if Batman's suspicious, maybe we should investigate?'' suggested Robin grinning.
''Solve their case before they do. It would poetic justice.'' complimented Aqualad.
''Hey. They're all about justice.'' replied Robin.
Aqualad sighed. ''But they said, 'stay put.''
''For the blotting out the sun mission, not this.'' said Robin smiling and putting his hands on his hips.
''Wait, are you going to Cadmus?'' Kid Flash grabbed by the shoulders and stuck a finger in his chest, poking him with a laugh. ''Casue if you're going. I'm going!'' the Speedster slung an arm around Robin's shoulder and looked over to Ben.
''Yeah, why not. I wouldn't mind checking it out too.'' answered Ben as he stepped next to Kid Flash who grabbed him under his other arm and all three smiled towards the final decision. Aqualad.
''Just like that?'' asked Aqualad. ''We're team on a mission?''
Their smiles die down, bit Robin gains a smirk. ''We didn't come for a play date.''
Aqualad joins his with a look of pure determination.
Project Cadmus, Washington D.C...
The firemen were in the middle of putting out the fire when the four teens arrived. Two scientists were stuck on the second floor.
''Help!'' they shouted as the fire raged behind them. The fire department had just rescued another civilian from another part of the building and was on their way to these two however, the fire was relentless, and they weren't sure if they would make it in time. All seemed lost until a yellow blur ran towards the building and up the wall grabbing the two scientists just before an explosion rocked the area. He ran faster until he made it to the roof placing them safety away from the fire. Kid Flash, who just had barely gotten the scientists to safety, tried reaching the roof himself but, a red blur took hold as he free-fell towards the ground.
''It's what's his name, Flashboy!'' yelled the firefighter, both glad to see him and proud of himself for seemingly getting it right.
''Kid Flash!'' he corrected. ''Why is that so hard?''
Suddenly a blue and black blur went up and made inside of the building. The blur soon stopped.
The blur revealed a semi-armored Velociraptor. He has black orbs on his feet, a black tail with five blue stripes, and bulky claws on his three fingers that can only open and close. He wears a black cone-like helmet with a protective visor that slides over his face. When the visor is lifted, one can see his blue face, green eyes, black lips, and stripes running under and in between his eyes; the rest of his head's features are unknown. He wears a black bodysuit and turtleneck-like shirt with a white stripe on the center. He wears a black and green hourglass symbol on his chest.
He was wearing his visor over his face with a blue x covered in it.
''Huh? Who or what are you?'' asked Kid Flash.
''Relax, it's me, Ben!'' spoke the creature in a raspy voice. ''This is power, I can transform into anything, and each form has a different name, and this is XLR8! One of my fastest transformations.''
Kid Flash smirked. ''That cool, speed huh?''
XLR8 grabbed the speedster and ran up the wall effortlessly and through the window on the second floor where Aqualad and Robin were waiting for them.
''Thanks for waiting, guys!'' spatted Kid Flash sarcastically as he crossed his arms in mock protest.
''Weren't you right behind us?'' retorted Robin as he was dumbfounded by the creature in front of them. ''Uh, Kid? Did you make a new friend?''
''No, I didn't, it's Ben guys! He can transform! I think!'' Kid Flash stepped aside, and the velociraptor slapped the symbol on his chest transformed to Ben in a flash of green light.
''Sup.'' greeted Ben.
''Dude, this so wicked.'' remarked Robin.
''How did you do that?'' asked Aqualad, curiosity.
Ben showed them the Omnitrix. While Robin began searching computers and dumping file boxes on the ground.
''With this. It's called the Omnitrix. It allows me to transform into a million aliens from my universe.'' explained Ben as everyone stopped and looked at him in amazement.
''Ok, so you're from another universe? Like a parallel world?'' questioned Kid Flash in amaze.
Ben nodded. ''Yep. From I come from there's no Justice League. I'm the only hero on my Earth. I found the Omnitrix when I was 10 years old, and it has the ability has the transform me into aliens across my universe. My friend of mine has send me to help you guys with something.'' he explained.
''Dude, hardcore.'' They all fist bumped him one way or another until Robin spike up from a computer console.
He had been searching for a computer, but to no avail. ''Besides, we're here to investigate. Poetic justice, remember?''
Aqualad had already walked ahead and noticed a horned creature stepping into a still working elevator. Shocked, he watched as the doors closed and the creature disappeared.
''There was something in the-'' he started before Kid Flash appeared behind him.
''Elevators should be locked down.'' stated Kid Flash.
Ben and Robin looked at each other before rushing after the others. The four of them approached the elevator to investigate.
''This is wrong.'' said Robin as he looked at the holographic computer on his gauntlet. ''This is a high-speed express elevator. This doesn't belong in a two-story building.''
''Neither does what I saw.'' commented Aqualad.
The Altanlean walked up to the elevator doors and forced them open, the rest of the group walking up behind him. When they looked down, their eyes widened in shock at how deep the shaft went. There had to be least fifty more levels underground.
''Hence, why need a high-speed elevator.'' commented Ben.
Ben activated the Omnitrix, scrolling the holo-ring playlist, selected an icon head and slammed the dial as his engulfed in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in Ben was a humanoid moth-like alien, whose four wings and two antennae-like wings fold can up into a poncho-Esque robe with a hood, giving him the appearance of a phantom. He has a black body with blue patching on his slender chest, and running along his legs and arms, the latter reaching up to the back of his neck. He has cyan patches that resemble ice chunks on his legs and arms. Thich black lines border the back end of each wing, which also contain three cyan patches of their own. His face is blue but has harsh black lines surrounding his eyes and mouth, which all meet at the center of his head that extends over his scalp, forcing the remaining blue parts of his forehead into a Y-shape. His eyes are bright green, with small darker spots inside. His mouth is frown showing four bluish-white teeth, which rarely moves, even when speaking. He has three pointed fingers and a thumb on each hand, and three toes on each foot: two in front and one behind. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Big Chill!'' he shouted in an eerie whisper voice.
''Whoa. Wha this guy can do?'' asked Robin.
''He can breathe ice, turn intangible and fly.'' Big Chill turned around and faced the elevator steeping off and falling a few feet before his wings spread out in the shaft as he slowly glided down.
Robin shoots his grappling hook into the top on the column. Once it sticks, he jumps, letting himself fall. Aqualad and Kid Flash follow.
They keeping going down until they reach Sub Level 26.
Robin stopped slowly as he looked down and realized they were nowhere near the end of the shaft but, they were at end of his grappling line.
''I'm the end of my line.'' said Robin as he swings over to a small ledge where Big Chill was already leaning causally against the wall.
''Figuratively or literally?'' asked Big Chill as Robin pulls the system security. ''Bypassing security.'' He waits as his five little Robin heads go from red to green. There. Go.''
Big Chill pashed through the elevator door freezing it over with a sheet of ice making it as vulnerable as glass. Aqualad shattered the doors with brute strength. Then Aquald, Robin and Kid Flash walked through.
The hallway seemed pretty high tech, and Ben had to admit reluctantly he had no idea what most of the thing he saw did. However, nothing of it seemed like it would attack him or his friends.
''Welcome to Project Cadmus.'' announced Robin.
Kid Flash immediately took off at high speed, leaving the rest behind.
''Kid! Wait!'' called out Aqualad after him, but the ginger speedster ignored him.
The sounds of heavy footsteps in hallway that cuts across the one he's running in forces him to skid. However, he couldn't stop in time, falling into the hallways as massive creatures that walk on all fours, but stand nearly as tall as the hallway walk down in two rows. He barely dodges the hand of the leader. Breathing a sigh of relief, then standing and running back arias where Big Chill, Robin and Aqualad now standing shocked. Big Chill transformed back to Ben.
''No, nothing odd going to here.'' muttered Aqualad.
''I've seen weirder things.'' Ben told them. ''Not by much, but still weirder.
Personal Lab...
A scientist with long brown colored hair tied in the back in a ponytail. He wore a standard white lab coat, glasses, brown sandals ad had slight wrinkles on his faces and streaks of white in his hair, an indicator that he may be well into his forties.
He was working on a pink mixture in a dish. Grabbing an eyedropper beside him. With the genetic markers displayed on his computer screen. Once he has the eyedropper, he uses to pick up the pink liquid. Within his room are other creatures, one looking like the one with glowing horns, and the other two seeming more insect-like. He allows one drop to fall into the test tube, that has what looks like water and a blue crystal inside it. As the pink liquid mixes with the clear liquid in the rest tube the whole thing turns a glowing blue colored. Illuminating the man's glasses covered eyes and pale face.
The door behind him beeps, opening to reveal a man wearing a dark blue jumpsuit with a golden helmet and golden shoulder and wrist pads.
''Dr. Desmond.'' said the man.
He doesn't beyond that before Dr. Desmond spoke up, annoyed. ''Tell me, Guardian, what part of no interruptions dd you did not understand?'' He hits the 13 on a cylinder labeled PROJECT BLOCKBUSTER. Then placing the test tube within, filling the final open shot on the rack of six. It closes back up on its own.
''A G-gnome on sub level 26 reports four intruders.'' answered Guardian.
Dr. Desmond sighed through an oh as he steps back from his massive microscope. ''Did I miss a perimeter breach alert?'' he questioned, already knowing the answer, and therefore talking condescendingly to Guardian.
''No.'' replied Guardian tensely.
''Then the G-gnome's confused.'' said. Dr. Desmond his annoyance showing. ''Whatever might occur in our faux lab above ground, the real Cadmus is most secure facility in DC.'' Then turns back to his microscope.
''My job to keep it that way.'' Guardian reminded him.
''Fine. Take a squad.'' ordered Dr. Desmond, unaware of the third person-well, rather a blue skinned anthropoid with ivory horns and darker blue skin on its elbows. Guardian goes to attention for a moment and the anthropoid steps next to him. Revealing red eyes. Pointed ears, and two blue feelers falling from the jawline to its clavicle.
''Might I recommend Guardian leave his G-gnome behind?'' Both it and Guardian turn to look at the creature resting in his shoulder. ''If violence should occur...'' he suggested.
''The little guy would be in my way.'' Guardian finished for the anthropoid.
''No.'' snapped Dr. Desmond, stepping away from his microscope. Revealing a G-gnome on his table beside him. ''The advantage of instant telepathic communication outweighs other concerns.'' He takes the creature's face just behind the jaw, before its own pointed ears. As he releases it, the horn glow red, in response the one on Guardian's shoulder's own horns glow.
Guardian turns in the direction of the anthropoid but doesn't look at it. His gaze far off. ''I need my G-gnome with me all times.'' His voice has gone monotonic, then he turns, bowing in Dr. Desmond's and putting his fisted hand over his heart. Then both walk out of Desmond's lab.
Robing hacked through a few doors before coming across a giant room with wall lined with giant test rubes each one containing some sort of deformed creature that generated electricity constantly, turning the room into big strobe light.
Ben was curiously looking the creature in each tube. He attempted to understand the situation. He'd been seen weird things over the years.
''Okay, I'm officially whelmed'' gasped Robin as he rubbed his eyes and adjusted them to the proper lighting.
''This is how they hide this massive facility from the world.'' muttered Kid Flash. ''The real Cadmus isn't on the grid! They generate their own power with these... things. Must be what they're bred for.''
''Even the name is a clue. The Cadmus of myth created a new race by sowing a dragon's teeth into the Earth.'' stated Ben.
''And this Cadmus creates new life too.'' agreed Robin steeping up the computer nearest one of the rows of creatures. ''Let's find out why.'' Then pulls out a connector from his gauntlet to connect him to the computer. A holoscreen appears and begin funneling the information. ''They call them Genomorphs.'' Now he had Ben, Kid Flash and Aqualad's full attentions. As one appears the entirety of the hologlove his eyes widen. ''Whoa! Look at the stats on these things, super strength, telepathy, razor claws. These are living weapons.'' he informed.
''They're engineering an army.'' muttered Kid Flash.
''But for who?'' asked Ben.
''Wait, there's something else.'' began Robin. ''Project Kr... Ugh! The files triple encrypted. I-I can't-''
''Don't move!'' called out Guardain now having a golden shield on his left forearm a squad of smaller Genomorphs growling around him. Guardian stops short. ''Wait, Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash? And who's this?'' He pointed out to Ben.
''At least he got your name right. And he's a friend.'' answered Robin.
''I know you.'' addressed Aqualald. ''Guardian, a hero.''
''I do my best.'' said Guardian.
''Then what are you doing here?'' asked Ben.
''I'm chief of security.'' replied Guardian. ''You're trespassing. But we can call the Justice League, figure this out.''
''You think the League is going to approve of you breeding weapons?'' asked Ben.
''Weapons? What are you...?'' Guardian trailed off when the horns of the G-Gnome on his shoulder began to glow making him snarl. ''Take them down hard! No mercy!''
The Genomorphs charged in Robin disconnected from the computer and threw a smoke pallet at the ground before via grappling hook.
Ben activated the Omnitrix, scrolling through the playlist, selected a form and slammed the dial down as his body engulfed in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in Ben's place was a humanoid alien that is 12 feet tall. He has well-developed muscles, two pairs of four-fingered arms, and red skin. A black stripe goes from his chin to his lower lip, and he has four green eyes: a main pair and a smaller pair below them, while he lacks ears or nose. He has whisker-like spikes on each forearm and black pants with a strap on each foot that reveals his two tows and the back of each foot. He wears gold wrist and ankle bands, a pair of black pants, fingerless gloves, had a tattoo-like stripes on his body that has a gold waistband, and two golden sashed that went across his chest, he had a ponytail. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Four Arms!'' he shouted in a deep raspy voice.
Four arms began punching any Genomprphs. After dealing with the Genomorphs he had to deal with Guardian. He dodged Guardian's punch before slamming a fist into his back knocking him into the wall hard enough to incapacitate.
The group booked in the same direction Robin took earlier with a pack of Genomorphs on their tail. They eventually found the Boy Wonder at another elevator.
''Way to be a team player, Rob!'' yelled Kid Flash angrily as he stopped next to the Boy Wonder.
''Weren't you right behind me?'' he asked.
Just then, the elevator doors opened up. And the four teens entered the elevator. Once they were all safety inside, the doors closed again, locking the attacking Genomorphs outside.
''Why are going down?'' asked Ben curiously.
''Dude! Out is up.'' Kid Flash told Robin.
''Excuse? Project Kr is down, on sub level 52.'' answered Robin.
''This is getting out of control.'' sighed Aqualad. ''Perhaps we should contact the League.''
''We can handle it.'' shrugged Ben, smirking confidently.
A soft ping warmed the four young heroes that they had reached their destination, and the doors opened. When they saw where they had arrived, Ben couldn't help but feel weirder out. The whole place seemed organic, as if they were inside a living creature.
''Still seen something weirder?'' Kid Flash asked Ben softly.
''Doesn't even rank in the top five.''
They ran through the hallway until they reached a cross point. With a sign, Aqualad crouched down next to Robin while Ben hid close to Kid Flash.
''Which way?'' inquired Aqualad.
''Yeah, bizarre looking hallway one of bizarre looking hallway two.'' answered Robin.
''Halt!''
The humanoid Genomorph where before walked out of one of the hallways and levitated two barres, throwing them towards the four young heroes. They jumped aside in time, as the barrels smashed against the wall and exploded.
''I vote for bizarre looking hallway Two!'' Ben told the other.
They begin running towards a metal door labeled 'Kr.'
Just then elevator opened revealing Guardian and a troop of Genomorphs unloading and fanning out into the hall, the tall-skinny Genemoprh yelled out as they approached him. ''They are heading towards Project KR!' Guardian didn't stop running as he past him and turned towards the first hallway.
Kid Flash was the first to made it to Kr while the others were still slightly behind, and the door was closing quick Kid Flash thought quickly grabbing a small tank of some sort and jamming it into the door stopping it for several seconds, long enough for Ben, Robin, and Aqualad to get through. Just as the Genomorphs were approaching to enter as well, Aqualad kicked the tank away causing the door to slam slut in front of them.
Robin wirelessly hacked the doors lock system and disabled it with a loud echoing clank.
''We're trapped...'' grimaced Ben.
''Guys? called out Kid Flash from behind them. ''You might wanna to see this!''
The three of them approached the speedster and were just as surprised as he expected while staring up a teenage boy no older than 16 wearing a white suit with a red S' symbol on it. The boy was some sort of stasis tank, seemingly unconscious with three smaller Genomorphs above him sitting idle each with glowing red horns.
''Big K, little r. The atomic symbol for Krypton clone!'' realized Kid Flash.
''Okay, Project Kr, weapon designation: Superboy. A clone force grown in 16 weeks!'' Robin read in surprise. ''From DNA acquired from Superman.''
''Stolen form Superman.'' corrected Aqualad. ''There is no way that he knows about this.''
''The solar suit allows him to absorb yellow solar radiation 24/7, speeding up his growth by two hundred percent'' continued Robin.
''And these creatures?'' asked Ben, pointing as the three sitting on top of the pod.
''Genomorph Gnomes. Telepathic. Forcing feeding him as education.'' explained Robin.
''Wasn't there one of thing of Guardian's shoulder?'' asked Aqualad.
''This is wrong.'' muttered Kid Flash.
''We can't leave him like this.'' agreed Ben.
''Set him free.'' ordered Ben after a moment of thought.
Robin immediately set to hacking the pod on his holographic computer. In a matter of seconds, the glass front slid away. The clone twitched and opened his eyes. As he focused on the four young heroes, Ben looked up, noticing the small horns of the grnomes were glowing red. He wanted to warm the others, but Superboy had already jumped out of the pod and tackled Aqualad.
''Think they got him under mind control?'' asked Ben as he searched through the Omnitrix selecting the right one.
''Looks like it.'' agreed Robin.
Kid Flash already charged, followed by Robin as they both grabbed one arm of the clone in an attempt to make him stop beating up Aqualad. The Krptonian clone didn't seem fazed by it and simply threw both teens off of him.
Ben activated the Omnitrix and transformed into...
''Four Arms!''
Four Arms was actually able to throw the clone to the other side of the room and he ran after him. Before he could get there, Robin that already shot Superboy with his taser, but the thing didn't seem to do any damage. The clone just grabbed the cords and pulled Robin over, slamming him into the floor with one hand. Before he could do anything else, Four Arms grabbed him and gave a knuckle sandwich. But it didn't damage him but did the clone but at least it brough Aqualad enough time to hit Superboy with a water hammer.
Then Four Arms heard the Omnitrix symbol beeping.
''Unknown un-cataloged DNA sample detected. Scanning.'' announced the Omnitrix.
The Omnitrix started to scan Superboy.
''Unkown DNA sample acquired. Scanned completed!''
Four Arms slapped the Omnitrix symbol engulfing his body in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in his place was an alien with an appearance similar to an Earth dry cell battery, albeit rounded out. He is black with green eyes, a large lightning bolt-like stripe from spanning from his neck starts to waist on his front and back sides, and positive (+) and negative (-) symbols on his back. He had a hole on his head. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Buzzshock!'' he shouted in a high-pitched voice.
Buzzshock charged up electricity and shot it directly into Superboy who screamed in agony.
''Shockiing, isn't it?'' asked Buzzshock as he chuckled before the smoking Superboy grabbed the alien and threw him into the wall.
Superboy punched the Nosedeenian making Buzzshcok loose conscious and fell down on the ground and changed back to Ben in a flash of green light.
Once all four heroes were out, Superboy forced the locked door open and walked up to the Cadmus scientists waiting outside. Dr. Desmond smirked as he saw the unconscious of the four teens and looked back at the clone.
'Attaboy.'' he said.
