Author Notes: Hey, you guys welcomed back for another chapter of Ben 10 Young Justice. Here's Chapter 2. I hoped you guys would like and enjoyed it.
Last time Ben was the Fourth of July along with Gwen, Kevin, and Rook enjoying at Mr. Smoothies that when Professor Paradox has arrived, and he had a mission for Ben by going to another universe, the Time Walker told Ben about the Justice League and he would be helping their partners; Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad. He arrived at the Hall of Justice and meets Batman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Arrow, Red Tornado, Martian Manhunter, and their partners, Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad and Speedy. Speedy storms out after learning he and others wouldn't join the Justice League. The adult heroes got a call from Superman that Project Cadmus has a small fire before Zatara calls that Wotan was going to blow up the sun and request the whole League. Batman tells Ben, Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad to stay put. After the three were angry about their mentors keep threating like sidekicks. The four decided to investigate Project Cadmus where they would learn the Genommorphs and Superboy. Superboy defeated and knock out all of four of them before Dr. Desmond arrived and Superboy attaboy.

Chapter 2: Fireworks
A-Gnome site on of the desks in an expansive lab as Dr. Desmond places across the center. Finally slowing as seven screens come down from the ceiling. All seven are active, but instead of pictures, white outlines, counteract the blue background.
''Dr. Desmond, you require an audience with the Light?'' asked a man voice, anger clean in his tone.
''Yes. Very sorry to disturb you at this late hour.'' said Dr. Desmond.
''Just make your report.'' spoke up another man's voice.
''Of course.'' began Dr. Desmond. ''Ahem.'' He clears his throat as he tries to buy himself time. ''Well, we had a small fire, here at Project Cadmus. The origin of the incident is still unclear but seems to have attracted some... Unwanted attention.''
As he continues to speak the scene changes to show, Kid Flash, Robin, Aqualad and Ben unconscious in pods as Superboy watches over them.
''Three sidekicks, and an unknown shapeshifter. Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash and the boy's ID read Ben Tennyson, although, our database has never heard of such a person existing anywhere and neither does the city in which his ID originates, breached security. They found and released the weapon, the Superboy. Of course, the clone is under our telepathic control and as ordered turned against his would-be liberators. The four are contained and we don't believe the League knows they're here.'' he explained his report. ''Uh...What should I do with them?''
There was silence as this was in fact a strange occurrence, however, the Light barely hesitated.
''You said there is a shapeshifter? Another Martian?'' asked a female voice.
''No, in fact the peculiar thing is this boy uses some sort of watch-like device to transform, the CTTV footage is very intriguing.'' answered Dr. Desmond.
''Clone them, all four of them remove this watch by any means and make it serve the light.'' answered the second male voice.
''The substiles will serve the Light and only the Light.'' agreed the deeper male's voice.
''And the originals?'' asked Dr. Desmond.
''Dispose of them.'' commanded the deeper voice with no hesitation. ''Leave no trace.''
Dr. Desmond smirked cruelly in response.

The camera shows Ben activating the Omnitrix and transformed.
Next, we see Aqualad in Peral Harbor grabbing his Water-Bearers with a serious face.
Robin next to top of a building in Gotha City.
Kid Flash pulling on his goggles over his eyes in Central City.
Superboy standing over a sunset.
Miss Martain was seen flying in the night sky.
Artemis shooting an arrow with her bow.
Then in Moutain Justice, Batman was showing videos of the Team's missions. After showing the videos.
Ben, Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martin, and Artemis stands with poses ready for their mission.
The screens flashes and shows the title of the story.
Ben 10 Young Justice
Washington DC, 0:01 EDT...
Above ground in Washington DC, fireworks are going off. Even though it's now 12:00 in the morning.
''Time runs shorts.'' said a male's voice. ''You must awaken.'' None of teens even flinch. ''You must awaken NOW!''
Ben gasped as he woke up, eyes wide as he looked around. He was chained inside a pod just the one they had found Superboy. Next to him, Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad were in the same position as he was, apparently also just waking up.
Their attention draws on the glaring Superboy before them.
''What? What do you want?'' asked Kid Flash, his annoyance fighting his fear. ''Quit staring. You're creeping me out.''
''Uh, KF, how about we're not tick of the guy who can fry us with a look?'' suggested Robin to the seriously freaked out speedster.
Dr. Desmond and the scientist that was in Project Kr walks down the organic looking hall.
''Prepare the cloning procedure the new project Sidekick, now.'' ordered Dr. Desmond. She leaves instantly and Dr. Desmond continues to walk, and he was side by side with Guardian.
''Almost done here, Doc.'' He told him once he comes to a pause. A G-troll holds the door stable while a worker wields the broken configurations.
Dr. Desmond continues forward, then stops short in shock as he sees the pod is empty. ''Where's the weapon?'' he demanded, though there's anger in his voice, there's fear in his eyes.
''Superboy?'' asked Guardian, steeping up as well. ''He carried the intruders to the cloning chamber.''
''We have Genomorphs for that!'' objected Dr. Desmond. ''Get the weapon back in its pod now!''
''I don't see the harm in letting the kid stretch his legs.'' Guardian not trying to pick a fight with Dr. Desmond because he honestly doesn't understand the problem.
''Don't you now?!'' asked Dr. Desmond, raising a single eyebrow as the G-gnome on his shoulder horns begin to glow.
Guardian's eyes go wide, but blank before they harden into an angry glare. ''That clone belongs in a cage!'' He practically growls before storming off.
''We only sought to help you.'' Aqualad said to Superboy, calmly.
''Yeah! We free you, and you turn on us. How's that for gratitude?'' questioned Kid Flash angrily.
''Kid, please, be quiet now.'' Aqualad told him. ''I believe our friend was not in full control of his actions.''
''Still think he's under mind control?'' asked Ben.
With the conversation gaining ground Robin activates a lockpick in the pointer finger of his glove and begins to work on his restraint.
''Wha-What if I.'' Superboy trails with an annoyed huff, his voice never been used so his words don't come out quite right and tones was slightly scratchy. ''What if I wasn't?'' he inquired.
''He can talk?'' asked Kid Flash shocked.
Superboy's hand clenches into a fist again as he practically glows his words at Kid Flash. ''Yes, he can.''
Ben, Robin, and Aqualad look at Kid Flash who looks rather confused back at them. ''Not like I said, 'it.'' he replied.
''The Genomorphs taught you telepathically.'' realized Ben.
''They taught me much. I can read write. I-I know the names of things.'' explained Superboy.
''But have you seen them? Have they actually let you see the sky? Or the sun?'' asked Robin.
''Images are implemented in my mind.'' he admitted, then looks down as if ashamed. ''But no, I have not seen them.''
''Do you know what you are, who are you?'' asked Ben.
Superboy stands tall. ''I am the Superboy, a Genomorphs, a clone made from the DNA from the Superman, created to replace him should he perish... To destroy him should he turn from the light.'' The last bit gets worried looks from all four of them.
''To be like Superman, I'd a worthy aspiration, but like Superman, you deserve a life of your own beyond that solar suit, beyond your pod, beyond Cadmus.'' assured Aqualad, calmly.
Once those words leave Aqualad's mouth Superboy gets angry. ''I live because of Cadmus! It is my home!''
''Your home is a test tube.'' stated Robin rather simply. ''We can show you the sun.''
''Um, pretty it's after midnight, but we can show you the moon.'' offered Kid Flash.
''We can show you to many places.'' added Ben.
''We can show you, introduced to Superman.'' agreed Aqualad, knowing how much that would mean to the teenaged clone before them.
Superboy's eyes widen slightly at the prospect...
''No, they can't.'' said Dr. Desmond as he, Guardian and the female scientist walk into the chamber. ''They'll be otherwise occupied.'' His tone is almost smug now, then he turns to the female scientist. ''Activate the cloning process.'' The two men stop, and she walks off to the left to do as he instructed.
''Pass!' spoke up Robin. ''Batcave's crowded enough.''
''And get the weapon back in its pods.'' commanded Dr. Desmond.
''Hey, how come get to call Supey an 'it?'' questioned Kid Flash, seemed annoyed and partially saddened by the prospect.
Guardian steps up, placing a hand's shoulder. Superboy looks to the four trapped teens.
Aqualad realized the depths they have gone to. ''Help us.'' he pleaded with Superboy.
The clone shrugged off Guardian's hand, looking to the Atlantean with an angered look.
Dr. Desmond walks up behind him. ''Don't start thinking now.'' His Genomorph hops off his shoulder and lands on Superboy's shoulder. It hisses as its horns glow red, taking telepathic control over Superboy. Only physically obvious as his eyes lose focus. ''See you're not a real boy. You're a weapon, and you belong to me!'' He paused for a moment, realizing his mistake. ''Well, to Cadmus. Same thing. Now get back to your pod!'' he ordered.
Superboy doesn't even show that he heard Dr. Desmond, only beginning by walking back down the way they came. The Genomorph's horns still glowing red.
Once the door closes with a this behind nodded Superboy. Dr. Desmond nods to the scientists at the control station. She hits two more buttons on the control station, causing robotic arms to come out of the base of the four teens pods.
Several electricity charged needles were injected in the teens' chests and started collecting blood samples. The four imprisoned heroes groaned in pain as shocks of electricity went through their bodies.
''Where's Dubbilex?'' Dr. Desmond asked Guardian and the other scientist. Only to see the Anthropoid shadow coming out of the darkness. ''OH!'' he gasped, taken off guard. ''Lurking as usual. Get the G-gnomes when that's done, delete the source material.''
Superboy walks down the hallway, the G-gnome still on his shoulder. Though it may have the telepathic control he still has Superman's extremely powerful hearing capabilities. He wears Ben words that he manages to whisper despite being tortured.
''Superboy.'' whispered Ben, hoping that his super hearing would pick up on it. ''You live. That gives you the right to follow your own path. A weapon or a person, the choice is yours, but ask yourself: what would Superman do?''
The clone stops short at those words and his eyebrows crease as fill with determination.
There's a boom that echoes through the containment room. Catching Dr. Desmond and Guardian's attention and turning it back to the door. Which was being crinkled as Superboy removes it, then holds it over his head with ease. As he does the torture devices on the four teens power down. Then he throws the door away and stalks into the room. Dr. Desmond, Guardian, and Dubbliex all make their way towards Superboy.
''I told you to get back to you-'' began Dr. Desmond but he was cut off as Superboy's right hand swipes him away and his left takes out both Guardian and Dubbilex. Guardian gets thrown into the wall, while Dubbilex and Dr. Desmond hit the ground with a thud.
Superboy stands tall and glared down at Dr. Desmond. ''Don't give me orders.'' He nearly back in front of the teen heroes.
''You here to save us or fry us?'' questioned Kid Flash, seemingly actually since in the question. Honestly unsure what the clone would do.
Superboy glared for a moment, but nothing happens. ''Huh. I don't seem to have heat vision, so I suppose helping is my option.
Robin managed to get his wrist restraints open, then jumps from his pod. ''Finally!'' he groaned, annoyance in his tone as he rubs his wrist. ''Lucky Batman isn't here. He'd have my head for taking so long.''
''Seriously, that's what you're worried about?'' asked Kid Flash, deadpanned. ''The whole League will have our heads after tonight.'' He snapped angrily.
Robin ignored him and went to the control station. Hitting one of the buttons, which retracts the arms from Ben, Kid Flash, and Aqualad and opening their pod doors. he turns to Superboy. ''Free Aqualad, and Ben. I'll get Kid Mouth.''
''Don't you give me orders either.'' growled Superboy but does to release Ben and Aqualad. Ripping the restraints apart with ease.
Weak from the torture Superboy has to catch his shoulders to keep the Atlantean to the ground below the floor of his pod. ''Thank you.'' Aqualad told him.
Superboy nodded but doesn't say anything. Ben landed on the floor. While Robin gets Kid Flash's restraints open, letting both of them drop to the ground When they were all freed, the five teens ran out of the room. Dr. Desmond begins to come, and the scientist tried to wake Guardian.
''You-you'll never get of here!'' shouted Dr. Desmond, but the boys don't listen, they only continue to run. ''I'll have you back in pods before morning.''
Robin turns at the doorway and pause, causing Kid Flash to do the same. ''That guy is not whelmed.'' he muttered then launches four disks back into the room. ''Not whelmed at all.''
''What is with you and this whelmed thing?'' asked Kid Flash as they turn to leave.
The four disks hit all four of their DNA containers and begin to beep, then explode, destroying the material they would use for cloning and pods themselves.
Dr. Desmond stands before the destroyed lab, anger clear in his grimace. A G-gnome jumps on his shoulder. ''Activate every Genomorph in Cadmus.'' The G-Gnome's horns glow red as it makes a telepathic connection to the other Genomorphs.
In the hallway, the five teens are running down the once cream-colored bumps in the wall begin to glow the same red color as the horns on the G-gnome.
''We are still 42 level below ground.'' noted Aqualad, not even plating as he runs at full tilt. ''But if we can make the elevator...'' He trialed a G-trolls block their way, first further away, then more and steadily getting closer to them.
The five stop and look back the way they came the glowing orbs now have pale white figures moving inside them. Genomorph Elves come out in a large group. The five are trapped.
''This isn't looks good!'' yelled Ben.
The lead G-troll strikes from behind and all five jump back to avoid it's crushing blow.
''Ben, I don't wanna rush but, we could really use someone right now?'' asked Kid Flash in desperation.
''This hallway is still too small for my strongest guys, I guess I'll go with.'' Ben activated the Omnitrix, scrolling through the playlist, selected an icon head and slammed the dial down his body engulfed in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in his place was a plasma-based life-form humanoid alien whose body is composed of a super-hot inner plasma body covered dark red volcanic rocks. He is seven feet tall. As a fire-based entity, his body radiates high amounts of heat. His feet have a slight oval-like design with only two toes and one back toe, and he has somewhat large hands with bridged wrists. His tongue is also made of fire while his collarbone resembles a volcano which generates a fiery hair like aura that covers his head, leaving his mask-like face visible with no nose, ears or pupils. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Heatblast!'' he shouted in a deep raspy voice.
Heatblast aims both his palms at the Genomorphs and formed fireballs in his hands and shoot them at the Genomorphs in front of them, scaring them considerably.
Aqualad moved right around one of the G-troll while Kid Flash and Robin go left. Superboy glared and jumps to cross it in the jaw. Knocking it down, but he is then surrounded by three more and was brought down as one pins him to the ground with its massive paw.
Another drops low on all five and swings its head towards Aqualad, attempting to hit him with its large horns. Aqualad jumps into a back flip over the assault, giving Robin the chance to get him in front of it and takes its attention as he grabs his horns to follow Aqualad over the G-troll's shoulder.
Kid Flash has another tailing him and runs it into the wall, before running along it to end up beside Aqualad and Robin. Heatblast fired a blast of fire at the celling, causing rumble landed on the G-trolls' heads forcing them and keeping them pinned. The four turn as they heard the hallway shake and crumble. Their attention turns to Superboy who was fighting off G-Trolls and slamming them into the wall and using his full strength. Despite the face that's causing the hallway to begin to fall apart.
''Superboy!'' called out Aqualad. ''Our goal is to escape. Not to bury ourselves here.''
Superboy turns to the four with insane look, bit also anger playing across his face. ''You want to escape?'' he demanded, grabbing an unconscious G-troll's arm and throws it into the two that are coming towards him with a battle cry.
As he does Aqualad pries to the elevator doors open, this time taking no care in fact that's bending the door. Kid Flash, Ben who transformed back to normal, and Robin join him, looking the twelve story drop below them and the seemingly never-ending darkness above them. Kid Flash jumps to the side of the column, while Robin uses his grappling hook to get a couple above them.
Ben activated the Omnitrix, scrolling through the holo-ring playlist, selected an icon head and slammed the dial down engulfing his place in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in Ben's place was a red humanoid manta ray-like alien with green eyes, black outlines on his face, yellow horns extending from his nose, sharp teeth, lightning bolt-shaped gills underneath his arms, yellow patagia, three-finger hands, feet that each had two toes and one back toe, two small spikes coming out of the top of his head, and a spike on each of his elbows. He wore black briefs green leg bands and green waistband with a white stripe, black elbow-length fingerless gloves with a green arm opening, green cuffs with a white stripe, black toeless boots with green top edges, and a green shirt that stopped below his chest, with black on the sides and two black lightning bolt-like stripes coming down from his shoulders to the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Jetray!'' he shouted.
Jetray flew up. As a G-troll comes to take out both Superboy and Aqualad with a mighty punch from the Boy of Steel grabs Aqualad's waist and jumps into the elevator shaft. Attempting to fly and getting nearly 30 levels before gravity begins to pull them back down. Shock shows on Superboy's eyes, while confusion shows in Aqualad's.
''I-I'm falling.'' he realized numbly.
Jetray's eyes widen as he realizes that what's happening, he grabbed Superboy by his feet.
''Superboy's eyes have sadness and confusion filling them. ''Superman can fly. Why can't I fly?'' he asked.
''Don't know.'' answered Kid Flash, drawing the Boy of Steel's attention to him and Robin who are standing on the level just below them. ''But it does look you can leap tall buildings in a single bound. Still cool.''
Jetray lands and Superboy and Aqualad let go of his legs and land down to the small ledge. Jetray transformed back to Ben.
''Ah, thank you.'' murmured Superboy.
''You're welcome.'' replied Ben.
A light from above them catches Robin's attention. ''Guys, this will have to be our exit.'' Above them, the high-speed express elevator is coming down.
Aqualad and Superboy take out the doors, now showing that they are on SL-15. All five of them just making it out of the column in time. G-elves are attracted to the sound and make their way towards the five teens in a squad of five, followed closely by a G-troll.
''Turn left, brother.'' said a voice in Superboy's mind.
His eyes widen, slightly confused, but after a few seconds, his mind's made up. ''Go left! Left!'' he called out.
They all follow him, as he follows the directions.
''Turn right.'' said the voice.
''Right.'' All five of them make the right turn, only to lead them to a dead end. The only thing available is an air vent a few feet below the ceiling.
''Great directions. Supey.'' complimented Kid Flash sarcastically. ''Are trying to get us reponed?''
''I'm not sure a dead end is where we want to be.'' stated Ben.
''No, I, I don't understand.'' whined Superboy.
''Don't apologize. This is perfect!'' exclaimed Robin excitedly.
By the time the G-elves and G-troll get to the dead end and the five teens are gone, and the air vent over is the only indication of where they went.
In the vents Robin leads the way, followed by Ben, Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Superboy bringing up the nearby. ''Ugh, at this rate complains.
''Shh.'' shushed Superboy, coming to a stop and so does the other boys. ''Listen.''
Withing the vent system are the G-elves, coming after the five attempting escapes.
Dr. Desmond, Guardian, and Dubbilex run down a hallway, Dr. Desmond holds a tablet with the building schematics on it.
''Someone, Robin, I'd wager hacked out systems deactivating internal security cameras.'' His face lit up as he realized something. ''But he neglected the motion sensors.''
A group of five dots in the vents is following their path, and two groups of three are coming to a T that converges on them.
''The Genomorphs are closing in'' he stated. They open the door to the bathroom. ''We have them concerned.'' They stand before the vents, now t's a matter of waiting.
Instead of the teen heroes, four G-elves tumble out of the vent. Onto to Dr. Desmond and the four G-elves beside him.
''He hacked into the motion sensors.'' noted Dr. Desmond.
''I hacked the motion sensors.'' sad Robin as he was on his holo-computer.
Ben smirked. ''Now, what's that I'm talking.'' he commented as they hive five. ''Still, we got a long way to go before we're out.''
''Sweet.'' replied Kid Flash brightly, though probably just happy to be out of the vents and was in the hallways again.
''Still plenty of them between us and out.'' grumbled Robin, but they are also right by the emergency staircase.
Kid Flash brings his goggles down his eyes. ''But I've finally got room to move.'' He opens the door and turns to Ben. ''You're coming?''
''I thought you'd never ask.'' grinned Ben.
Ben activated the Omnitrix and transformed into...
''XLR8!'' he shouted.
XLR8's visor went down over his face.
Both the Kineceleran and redhead speedster starts running up levels at high speeds. Coming down the above them are G-elves. They don't stop, in fact, they smirked and increases speed. Taking them all out and clearing the way for Aqualad, Robin who was still hacking and Superboy.
''More behind us.'' Robin called out to Superboy get to the platform he stops and slams his foot down on the connecting stair. Knocking the whole staircase down and all the G-elves on it.
In the elevator Guardian, Dubbilex, Dr. Desmond, three G-dwarves, and a G-spire.
''We'll cut them off at Sub-Level One.'' assured Guardian as they fly past Sub levels 15 and 14.
''We'd better or the board will have our heads-my head.'' realized Dr. Desmond nervously, then presses the stop button on the elevator. The door opens and he walks out briskly. ''I need to get something from Project Blockbuster, just in case. I'll meet you at Sub-Level One.''
Both XLR8 and Kid Flash continued running up the staircase at high speeds, making out the door that indicates that they were at Sub-Level One. They do an alarm begins to blare, and massive doors. Kid Flash's eyes widen as he realized they won't be able to stop in time.
''Oh crud.'' Hitting the doors hard, and his head hitting first, then falling back to the ground, a few feet away from the barrier then thumbling over twice before coming to a stop on his butt.
''So, must for that idea.'' remarked XLR8. Then in a flash of green light he transformed back to Ben.
''We are cut from the street.'' grumbled Aqualad annoyed as he, Superboy and Robin run to catch up with them.
Kid Flash rubs the back of his head with a grimace. ''Thanks. My head hadn't noticed.''
Superboy walked past the fallen speedster, punching the door, but not even getting a dent on it. He begins trying to pry it again but couldn't do it. Aqualad takes half and he takes the other, but even their combined strength could not get the doors open.
Robin was typing at high speeds on his gauntlet, grumbling annoyed. ''Can't hack this fast enough.'' ''Ben, you got anyone in there that he can help?''
''I can use Big Chill or Ghostfreak to phase through the doors.'' he answered.
G-trolls growl and two come around the corner. Robin noticed a door to his right.
''This way!'' shouted the Boy Wonder to the other four, completing a 270 rotation before side-kicking the door open.
The G-troll couldn't make it through the door, but in the adjoining hallway was a drove of G-elves, another pair of G-troll, and Guardian waiting for them. Not to mention a G-gnome on every creature's shoulder. Behind them, a third G-troll and a half dozen G-elves cut them off.
Aqualad removes his Water bearers, forming dual swords as the other drop into fighting stances. Ben activated the Omnitrix.
If they were going to do down, they'd do it fighting. Just before the teen heroes made their first move, one of the G-gnome' horns begin to glow, setting off a chain reaction as all the other G-gnomes do the same. Linking everyone against the heroes telepathically.
All five teens straighten out of their dropped stances before falling to the ground unconscious. Only Superboy falls to his knees.
Superboy felt something brush against his mind, and he weakly opened his eyes to see Dubbilex standing in front of him. ''Perhaps for the sake of all Genomorphs, our brother Superboy should make up his own mind.''
Superboy's eyes widened. ''It was you...''
''Yes, brother.'' answered Dubbilex. ''I started the fire and lured your new friends into Cadmus, woke them when they were in danger.''
''And guided me. Why?'' asked Superboy.
''Because you are our hope, the Genomorph hero. You will blaze a trail for all our brothers, showing us the way to freedom.'' explained Dubbilex.
Guardian groaned and gripped his head, then the G-gnome jumps from his shoulder. ''What's going on?'' he questioned,
''What is your choice, brother?'' Dubbilex asked Superboy as he stands tall.
''I... choose... freedom.'' stated Superboy with conviction aloud so everyone could hear him.
''Feels... like fog... lifting.'' Guardian managed to get up as the other four boys get back to their own feet as well.
''Guardian?'' asked Aqualad since right now his head was clearer than Ben, Robin, and Kid Flash's.
''Go.'' he told them with conviction. ''I'll deal with Desmond.
''I think not.'' glowed Dr. Desmond, all Genomorphs behind Guardian part ways to allow Dr. Desmond to be visible. ''Project Blockbuster will give me the power to restore order to Cadmus.'' he then downs one of the blue vials that he was working on in his lab.
Before anyone could stop him. Dr. Desmond drank the contests of the vial, and Guardian backed up to the young heroes standing before them protectively. Almost immediately, Dr. Desmond began to change. His muscles bulged to the point that most of his clothes practically exploded.
Then, he began to grow to nearly ten feet tall. His eyes turned black with red pupils while his skin fell away, save for a few patches that remained on his face, revealing a gray hide. With an animalistic roar, Dr. Desmond ceased to be. He was Blockbuster now.
Guardian puts his hands out to the sides, but the palms turned towards the teens behind him. ''Everyone back!'' he ordered. Before he runs towards Blockbuster, only to be swept aside like he's nothing and into a wall a good three or feet off the ground.
Superboy jumped forward and started hitting the monster square in the face.
It didn't seem to have much effect, as Blockbuster just struggled it off and hit Superboy back. The two beat each other for a bit longer until Blockbuster was able to knock the clone down with one powerful hit. Superboy was back on his feet in time, and he jumped at Blockbuster, but he grabbed Superboy mid-fight and jumped through the ceiling.
''Okay, that's one way to bust through the ceiling.'' remarked Robin as he used his grappling hook to lift himself and Kid Flash through the hole.
''You think lab coat planned that?'' asked Ben as he activated the Omnitrix.
''I doubt he's planning anything anymore.'' muttered Aqualad.
Ben selected an icon head and selected the dial down engulfing his body in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in his place was alien that has an insectoid body and four crab-like legs and two arms with three-clawed hands. He has four small green eyes on long prehensile stalks connected to his large head, which can all be moved around independently from each other. On his back are two independently from each other. On his back are two very fragile light greenish-yellow dragon-like wings with veins running through them, and his limbs are a brown-greenish color. He wears a white sleeveless jumpsuit with black lining which covered most of his biology and tail, his hands had a black coloration similar to fingerless gloves. His mouth has a tongue and gums that are green in coloration, and he had squarish teeth that interlocked when closed. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
Stinkfly!'' he shouted in a gravelly voice.
Stinklfy spread his wings out and flew through the ceiling, followed closely behind by Aqualad. Just as that they landed on the floor, Blockbuster threw Superboy at them, Stinkfly flew up and dodged, Superboy knocked down the Atlantean, As Kid Flash and Robin rushed over to help him.
Kid Flash slid between monster's legs as he tried to hit the speedster with his fist. As Kid Flash knelt behind the monster's legs, Aqualad and Superboy hit the monster simultaneously, making him stumble backwards and fall over the couching Kid Flash.
''Learned that one in kindergarten.''' grinned the redhead.
Robin used his birdarangs to try and slow the beast when he was getting up again but simply swatted them away.
Stinkfly slapped the Omnitrix symbol and transformed into...
''Big Chill!'' he shouted.
Blockbuster jumped at Big Chill and threw a punch at the Necrofriggian. But suddenly his punch phased through him. Blockbuster landed on the ground and look at Big Chill in confusion.
''Intangibility you can't touch me.'' he replied.
Big Chill took a deep breath and unleashed his ice breath that freezes Blockbuster in a block of ice.
Big Chill slapped the Omnitrix symbol transforming into another alien in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in his back was a humanoid plant-like alien that has an overall green and black colored body encrusted with muck, mostly with a red flame-patterned head and root-like feet, seemingly holding black rocks. His eyes are oval shaped with points at each end with pupils copying the shape but are smaller. Also, his shoulders and head have red petals, and his elbows and legs have green frills sticking out. He is taller than an average human and has a distinct rotten stench that worsens with heat. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Swampfire!'' he shouted in a nasally voice.
Swamopfire raised his arms up at the frozen Blockbuster. Fire then erupted from Swampfire's palms melting. Once Blockbuster was thaw out. He growled angrily at the Methanosian. With water on the floor, Aqualad's tattoos glowed as his Water-Bearers and slams his hands on the ground with electricity that shock Blockbuster as he cried in pain.
Ben knew he had to this end for good. So, Swampfire slapped the Omnitrix symbol transforming into another alien in a flash of green light.
When the green light died down standing in his place was a somewhat humanoid 12-foot tall with hard skin that is colored brown on its outer side and beige on its inner side. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Humungousaur!'' he shouted.
Blockbuster only roared before charging in, so did the Vaxasaurian moved to meet him head on. They each threw a punch, but Humungousaur was able to tank it before punching Blockbuster clear into the wall. That didn't put the monster down, and he charged the current enemy.
Humungousaur smirked at Superboy and Aqualad came around him striking the monster together before he could react sending it stumbling.
Robin threw several birdarang which didn't do much, but it created an opening for Humunguosuar he grabbed the monster by his foot and threw him into a pillar. At the rate they were going, they could likely win, but Blockbuster wasn't making it easy.
Humungosaur was currently observing their surroundings and wondering how much like he had left. In the end he reasoned it probably wasn't much considering how often he's transformed in short span of time. He decided it was time to bring everything down.
''It's time we end time this. When there's a time to go and there is a time to ultimate.'' declared Humunguosaur.
''Ultimate?'' asked Kid Flash.
Humugousaur slapped the Omnitrix symbol, and four metal spikes popped out and a green light started spreading throughout his body.
When the green light died down. Humungousaur was a 20-foot Ankylosaurus, looking much more buff and muscular titan than his pre-evolved form. He now had come green skin instead of brown and beige. A dark blue, spiked turtle shell covered his chest, torso, and back. His helmet has 3 silver spikes running down the top and two downward pointing black horns on the side. His back armor has long spikes running down each side, his plated chest and torso are dark blue with five spikes on each end and his tail has a black mace on the end with silver spikes. His ferocious and menacing appearance was amplified by his knuckles having silver barrels visible on them. He wears the evolved Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
''Ultimate Humungousar'' he shouted.
Ultimate Humungousaur urged Blockbuster to come at him and watched the monster charge at him. Ultimate Humungousaur lifted up his arms and his hands morphed into rocket launchers as missiles shot out of them towards Blockbuster sending him into the wall. Then the hype-evolved Vaxasaurian fired missiles at the pillars which really started to deteriorate the place.
''Guys we gotta get of here now!'' he called out. ''The place is coming down let's get out!''
''Right!'' they replied in unison.
The five heroes ran for the entrance even as the heroes were clear. Eventually, the place really coming down.
The dust and debris settled allowing the five heroes across the street to move back. At moment, Ultimate Humungousar transformed back to normal Humungousaur then transformed back to Ben.
''I think we won.'' stated Ben.
Robin and Kid Flash high five.
Robin turns to Ben. ''So, Ultimate Humungousar, huh?'' he inquired.
''Yeah. It's the ultimate function. With it I can transformed my aliens into their ultimate form giving them their powers and abilities. And even made them more powerful.'' explained Ben.
''That's so cool.'' commented Kid Flash.
Superboy wasn't even listening anymore, as he walks through the remains of the building and found an unconscious Blockbuster. When he turned back, he found the other four grinning at him.
''See?'' asked Kid Flash, pointing at the sky. ''The moon!''
Superboy looked up, and take it all on, but then a figure appears in its light, cloaking him in the shadows. Supeboy squinted lightly, trying to see who it was. As he flows and turns perpendicular to the ground it was Superman.
''And Superman.'' commented Kid Flash, surprised. ''Do we keep our promises, or what?''
Martain Manhunter, Zatara, a muscular, black-haired Caucasian male with blue eyes. His costume is mostly red with gold accents like his thunder bolt logo, sash, and boots. He also has a white and gold cape over one shoulder. This is Captain Marvel and Red Tornado flew behind the Man of Steel.
Then five more Justice League members landed down.
The first one was a strongly built Caucasian male with iron hair, yellow eyes, and silver skin, save for his gloves and boots, which are red. He has a stylized red atom symbol on his chest.
This is Captain Atom.
The second one was a man whose appearance's most distinguishing features are the giant wings on his back and his heavy armor. He wears a black cuirass with a hawk logo in a red circle in the middle. His belt, squanders, greaves and gauntlets are golden. He also dons a golden helmet with a break.
This is Hawkman.
The third one was a noticeably tall and fair-skinned woman with straight waist-length black hair, blue eyes, and broad shoulders. She is ageless and attractive in appearance, sporting a slender and athletic frame with a well-toned yet muscular build. She wears a strapless red bustier held up by a brace of gold resembling two W's. She has a large golden belt and blue briefs with five with white stars on them. She wears red boots with a white stripe on the front side. She wears silver bracelets around her waists, red stat earrings, and wears a golden diadem with a red star on forehead. She also has a golden lasso, which hangs from her belt when not used.
This is Wonder Woman.
The fourth one was a woman whose appearance's most distinguishing features are the giant wings on her back. She wears a costume matching colors with Hawkman's but lacking most armor. She also dons a golden breastplate, leaving the top of her torso bare, and a black shirt with dark red plating. Her arms were wrapped in black and dark red cloth, with extra padding around the shoulders. She also wears knee-high greaves. Her helmet is less elaborate than Hawkman's, featuring only two brown wings facing outward. it allows her red hair to flow out the back.
This is Hawkwoman.
The fifth one was a middle-aged Causcuain male with an athletic build. His uniform consists of a green and black colorway associated, along a Green Lantern insignia on his chest. He also wears a green domino mask to hide his identity. The torso, shoulders and boots are green, while the legs, arms, and armpits are black. He also wears white gloves. His hair is brown, which he keeps in a short hairstyle.
This is Green Lantern.
And finally, an African American male with a slender build and short black hair. His costume is mostly black, expect for green parts on his wrists and on his shoulders and upper chest. He also wears the Green Lantern symbol on his chest.
This is Green Lantern (John Stewart)
He brings a platform for the non-flyers Leaguers, Batman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Arrow. And another female Leaguer.
She was an attractive young woman, with long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a slender yet toned build. She is known for her distinctive costume, which includes a black, one-piece bustier leotard combination under a blue lapelled jacket, with gray stockings with seams up the front and back. She wears black, heavy, calf-length boots, black fingerless gloves that go past the elbow to the biceps, and a black choker.
This is Black Canary.
As Batman steps up to Superman, Flash zooms in, standing to Batman's left.
Superboy steps up first, gaining scrutiny in Superman's eyes, but not stopping as he lifts the torn front of his suit, revealing the same S that was mirrored on his own costume. Superman's eyes widen in shock, while Superboy's features soften. Only for Superman's gaze to turn hard and cold, brining on any annoyed look of confusion on Superboy's face.
''Is what I think it is?'' asked Batman.
''He doesn't like being called an it.'' whispered Kid Flash and putting his left hand to face towards Superboy as he speaks.
''I'm Superman's clone!'' announced Superboy proudly, gaining a shocked from Kid Flash.
While Martain Manhunter looks to Captain Marvel, Flash looks to Green Arrow, and Aquaman and Black Canary could only look on in shock.
Batman, on the other hand, gave the teen heroes a hard stare. ''Start talking.''
Both Green Lanterns have Blockbuster trapped inside a sphere, while Hawkman, Hawkwoman, and Captain Atom flies alongside them.
After explaining everything Superman, Batman, Flash, Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman gathered into a group and began discussing the events, Ben's abilities, and what do with Superboy.
Batman wants a detailed list of Ben's transformations and everything he knows about the Omnitrix. And the Omnitrix wielder agreed.
Superman was having a conversation with Wonder Woman and Martain Manhunter. Nothing was said for a moment, then Martain Manhunter places a hand on Superman's shoulder, causing Superman to Superboy's gaze. The clone's look is curious, while Superman's is hard. The clone looks away, then glances back, seeing Superman look down and away from him before finally turning and walking towards him.
Superman sighed as he meets his cross-armed clone. ''We'll uh, we'll figure something out for you. The League will, I mean.'' he corrected himself quickly. ''For now, I better make sure they get that Blockbuster creature squared away.'' Then he flies away with a swish of his cape. Leaving Superboy following him with shocked, hurt and confused eyes.
''Cadmus will be investigated.'' spoke up Batman drawing the teens' attention to him, Flash and Aquaman as they walk towards them. ''All 52 levels but let's make one thing clear-''
''You should have called.'' snalred Flash.
''End results aide, we're not happy.'' glowed the Dark Knight. ''You hacked Justice League systems, disobeyed direct orders, and endangered lives. You will not be doing this again.''
''I am sorry, but we will.'' stated Aqualad strongly even Robin steps up lightly.
''Aqualad, stand down.'' commanded Aquaman.
''Apologies, my king. But no.'' he replied.
This catches an eyebrow raise from the King of Atlantis.
''We did good work here tonight; the work you trained them to do and what I've been doing even since I was 10 years old. Together on our we forged something powerful, important.'' announced Ben.
''If this is about your treatment at the Hall, the three of you-'' started Flash.
''The five of us, and it's not.'' corrected Kid Flash.
''Batman, we're ready to do what you taught us, or why teach us all?'' questioned Robin, but as he steps up to speak to his mentor it's obvious that he feels just as strongly about it as they do.
''Why let them tell us what to do?'' asked Superboy with his arms uncross as he too steps up. ''It's simple. Get on board or get out of the way.'' All four of them were watching them, but they all turn back towards the adult heroes. Standing tall, proud and defiant.
Mount Justice, Happy Harbor, July 8th, 8:04 EDT...
Green Lantern, and Captain Atom were flying large pieces of equipment around the mountain, but in the center stands all five teens, now dressed in civilian clothes, Ben was wearing his usual green jacket, Batman, Aquaman, Flash, Hawkman, Black Canary, Red Tornado, and Captain Marvel.
''This cave as the original secret sanctuary of the Justice League.'' explained Batman. ''We're calling it into service again. Since you five are determined to stay together and fight the good fight you'll do it on League terms.'' All five watch as from center of the room. ''Red Tornado volunteered to live here and be your supervisor. Black Canary's in charge of training. I will deploy on your missions.''
''Real missions?'' asked Dick skeptically, starting at his mentor from behind his sunglasses.
''Yes.'' answered Batman. ''But covert.''
''The League will still handle the obvious stuff.'' inputted Flash. ''There's a reason we have these big targets on our chests.''
''But Cadmus proves that the bad guys are getting smarter'' added Aquaman. ''Batman needs a team that can operate on the sly.''
''The six of you will be that team.'' stated Batman
''Cool! Wait five?'' asked Dick.
Batman tilted his head to Martian Manhunter who was entering the cave with a young, female Martain. She had shapeshifted into a near-perfected image of a teenage human girl... save for her green skin. She wore a white shirt with a red X-shaped harness, a short blue cape, blue gloves, and a blue skirt that ended just above her knees. She had long, red hair.
''This is Martian Manhunter's niece.'' introduced Batman. ''Miss Martian.''
''Hi.'' greeted Miss Martian with a small wave and smile.
Wally looks down to Robin and Ben. Both of them looked at Wally. ''Liking this gig more every minute.'' He ran up, minorly blocking her view of Ben, Robin, and Superboy. ''Uh welcome aboard. I'm Kid Flash. That's Robin, Aqualad, Ben. It's cool if you forget their names.''
''I'm honored to be included.'' smiled Miss Martian.
Wally, ben, Kaldur, and Dick walked over to her and started a conversation. Superboy kept standing where he was, frowning as he watched the other interact.
''Hey, Superboy!'' called Dick. ''Come meet Miss M.''
The clone walked up to the rest, making the Martian girl smile. Her shirt turned black, and the cape disappeared as she glanced up shyly at the Boy of Steel.
''I like your shirt.'' she commented.
Ben elbowed Superboy as the taller teen smiled and Wally threw an arm over his shoulder.
''This is the day.'' said Ben.
Project Cadmus...
Underneath of the reconstruction Project Cadmus. Inside of Sub Level 2 was nothing but a desk and a small construction crew building what had been destroyed. Guardian sat behind the desk with Dubbilex and the other scientist.
''Cadmus changes today. With Desmond out of the picture the board's placed me in change.'' began Guardian. He turns to the female scientist. ''Dr. Spence, you're acting Chief Scientist. No more G-gnomes suppressing our wills no more secret breeding projects. This is a kinder, gentler Cadmus.''
''Then I will of course help in any way I can, brother.'' assured Dubbilex.
In a room filled with the same screens Dr. Desmond used to communicate with the Light, the Light themselves began conversing about what had transpired as of late.
''Can the Light afford to leave Guardian in charge without the G-gnomes?'' asked a male voice.
''We have subtle means if control. What concerns me is the children. We now know the League is employing young heroes to their dirty work. Tch, that's a dark twist.'' replied another male voice.
Another male spoke. ''In all my years of life never have I seen someone with such power.'' the man spoke with admiration at a security camera of images of Ben's transformations: Four Arms, Buzzshock, Heatblast, Jetray, XLR8, Stinkfly, Big Chill, Swampfire, Humungousaur, and Ultimate Humungousaur. ''If we gain access to that device, the Earth would be ours. And if we could reverse engineer it? The entire universe would be ripe pickings.''
''Yes, but one that can be played to our advantage. Even the temporary loss of the weapon may prove useful. Eventually, everyone sees the Light.''

And the Ultimate Humungousaur was the first ultimate to appear in the story.
Before any of you asked yes Ben will get a White Martain and Thangarian forms in the story.
